We booked the private dinner (only one reservation is held per evening, which means we get the entire restaurant to ourselves)!! The staff picked us up on snowmobiles for the ride to the restaurant which was only the beginning of the MOST AMAZING night!!! Whipping up the mountain via snowmobiles after dark was so much fun!! Upon arrival to the restaurant, we entered into the most cozy, romantic, candlelit ambience ever. It was shockingly beautiful and ALL for just us!! There was a huge display of charcuterie and cheeses, plus passed appetizers - none of which were on our original menu. Caroline (owner) sent me the menu the night before to select all our course options. So when we arrived to all the added appetizers - it was truly a treat!! We enjoyed the first hour and a half sipping champagne, enjoying the charcuterie and passed appetizers. Then we entered to a beautiful dining room to settle in for a long, 4 course dinner. Every single dish was perfection. We decided to order 4 different selections per course and then share them as a family of 4 to taste each dish! After a mind-blowing dinner and experience, we exited to fireworks JUST FOR US!!! We felt like royalty!!! Then we were whisked back down the mountain to Cervinia on snowmobiles… where else in the world can you have this experience!?!! It was truly MAGICAL!!! Caroline, Simone, Chefs, Snowmobile drivers… THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Absolutely incredible!!! We will never forget our evening with you all.

Update (April 2024) Great place to stop at when your in the slope and you feel for a luxury lunch. Food and service is great!! This is a place you cannot miss when skiing in Cervinia. Great food and cool atmosphere, very hip! We had lunch outside in the sun in the end of February a high season period and the place was packed. You need to book a table in advance. Chalet Etoile only get 4/5 based on that the staff could not handle all people when it was full, they made too many mistakes. I’m not negative they were all very friendly 😊

Nice lunch! Not as pricy as some places higher on the slopes, food is very good. Portions are big so you’ll to get enough energy to continue your riding. Orange punch was good but too strong for me. I definitely recommend the place end especially polenta with mushrooms. It’s finger lickin’ good!

Very good food but on the pricey side compared to other Italian restaurant or the self. But the food is very good and the staff are super nice (mostly from Sweden). they are willing to help and trying to find you a table even though you didn't reserve.

Lovely Italian restaurant on the slopes of Cervinia (with swedish managers and staff ) Lovely huge terrace with a stunning view o. Overall, it was a good experience. The tuna tataki appetizer was enjoyable, but the wasabi ice cream was too sweet for my taste, it felt more like a dessert than an appetizer. For the main course, we ordered the pappardelle with wild boar ragout, which was decent, though the meat was quite chewy.

A nice restaurant along Piste 6. It was quite chaotic inside, as some people were queuing for the restaurant while others were ordering from the bar with a limited menu. If you plan to dine in the downstairs restaurant, it's a good idea to make a reservation. I ordered the lasagna from the bar, and it was a tasty lunch. First, you queue at the cashier, and then you move to the counter to pick up your meal. Considering the number of people, the food arrived quickly. On a sunny day, it's a charming place to eat outside. However, since the restaurant is in an open area, it's better to stay inside on a windy day. The signage inside could be clearer because, as I mentioned, no one seemed to know exactly where to queue.

Delicious food, nice chalet decor, friendly staff, indoor is warm and comfortable. Overall good restaurant but a bit pricey. They charged us 15 euros for three bottles of still water.

Service was prompt and polite. The food, however, was less convincing: no draft beer, and ravioli that seemed to have had a previous life in a freezer. Perfectly serviceable, but not quite what one might expect from a restaurant so enthusiastically recommended.
