An absolutely recommended locations to visit. Both for grabs, enjoy dinner and bar scene can be found inside. Fresh atmosphere, bright decorations and setup attract all who enter. We stopped by for a late lunch and had burrito and quesadillas. Great in one word.

Do not miss out on this hidden gem. We got the taco deal 20 tacos for $30. There was an understandable uncharge because we got steak and fish but the food is fresh and tastes delicious. They should be way busier, give them a shot!

We went here for Father’s Day and we all had a great experience. Pancho Villa had excellent food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered an array of different dishes and we all were extremely pleased with the flavors, presentation, and authencity.

Great Mexican food with authentic flavors! Found this place and will definitely be back. My daughter asked for chilaquiles and they were not on the menu and they made them for her! So delicious! Birria tacos are amazing. Drinks are delish! Highly recommend!

I've been here multiple times and I very much enjoy the restaurant but especially when at the bar you consistently have to wait to be served even when its not that busy. Other than that this is a great place to go with the family or.just to hang out and have a beer or two with friends

I would give it 10. This is a real gem in the Mahopac, that historically a vacation spot for New Yorkers at the beautiful lake, lately more like an ordinary village, but its becoming special again thanks to creative people with taste and big ideas like the owners of this place. Everything about this place is, well, TASTEFUL. The menu extends beyond Mexican into other Spanish and Latin dishes and drinks. And all I tasted at this place is as good to create a competition to fancy yet affordable NYC restaurants. Newly opened, freshly painted, refreshing and rich menu, lovely happy atmosphere. Love the painting on the wall in the big room and decoration up to the pen you sign the check with. And Karaoke nights on Friday and Saturday, where you surprisingly meet talented people that know how to sing and feels like they all know each other and you are welcomed to the club. Small business is a lot of work and hard to survive. Please, support, you won't regret coming here. They are still new and probably not so well known. A hidden gem that deserves attention!"

Can’t say enough about this place. It was quiet and not busy when I went in. Food is fresh and huge portions. Young man serving me was nice and helpful. I needed a good meal after working long hours and having to work again. I had enough leftovers for two days. I can’t wait to try the Ceviche next time. It was all fresh, ingredients fresh, and reasonable for the portions. Large, clean place and looks to have a nice bar. There was even a paper heart under my soup bowl for Valentine’s Day. The little details….

This is such a great spot!! The people there are so nice. The lovely woman that waited on us who was the owner makes the flan which is amazing. You can’t beat the taco Tuesday deal 20 tacos for $20. They don’t skimp!! It is delicious!!!

Honestly confused by how this place has such great reviews. We went there on a Tuesday (usually a popular day for Mexican restaurants since it’s “taco Tuesday”) and we were the only people in there for dinner. The margaritas didn’t even look like margaritas. They looked like clear water and did not taste like margaritas. The food took a while to come out, and we were the only people in there. The salsa they brought out to the table with the chips was pink almost and didn’t taste like salsa. The food was mediocre. Not sure how this place is still open.
