Best place to stay at this beach. Great service, chill atmosphere and the food is really decent
Nice place to spend the day at the beach with a reasonable minimum consumption to use the sun loungers. The waiters are very friendly. I’m not usually into sea food, but I really like their shrimp tacos along with a nice jarra de pepino con limón. The mojitos could have a bit more fizz, though
Such a great place - food was insanely good, amazing grilled fresh fish and amazing vegetable options. You don’t pay for the beds if you spend 300pesos too so free beach beds and amazing food. Staff was also great!

Having explored numerous dining spots, Punta Puerto stands out as a gem. Nestled beachside, the fish tacos redefine perfection. However, what truly distinguishes this haven is the phenomenal staff!!! What sets this experience apart is the impeccable service led by Aaron, our server. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Aaron's expertise added an extra layer to the dining symphony, ensuring our preferences were understood and catered to with finesse. Punta Puerto isn't just a destination; it's a gastronomic journey with an exceptional crew, making it a must-visit for those who appreciate both superb cuisine and unparalleled service.
Repeatedly came back here for the best days of our Puerto Escondido experience. $300 minimum each for food and drink to sit all day on loungers under an umbrella. Attentive staff. Everything we ate and drank was delicious: ceviche’s, guacamole and chips, the mezcal cocktails and juice smoothies. A basic shower near the bar and bathrooms. Crashing surf and swimming possible for the experienced. (You’ll be coated in sand you get out!)

This may not be the fanciest place with the fastest service but it had us coming back every day. Plenty of room for large groups, if you don't sit in a front row lounger they don't expect you to pay a ridiculous minimum. The tacocos are good, the pizza is alright, cold drinks and friendly servers.
The best coffee I had in Puerto WOW!! The croissant and chocolate croissant were ok and my partner loved his Frappuccino. Fan keep things cool indoors and the staff was SO Kind. Loved the hobbit bathroom haha.

This is, by far, the best place on the beach. Service is prompt, quality is superb, there's a great atmosphere and vibe, almost magical to the sunsets here. Swing by, you will cherish it for the rest of your life!
Beautiful spot to post up on the beach. Food was decent, the Mr Tocino tacos were really good while the acai bowl was lackluster. $200 per person for seat rentals and no minimum consumption.
*Update: today (Feb-19) they told us they’ve changed their sun bed system and are renting the majority of the beds now instead of requiring a minimum consumption. However, they have a a few beds (~10) which are just next to their restaurant which can still be taken in return of consuming at least 300$ per person. Saying this just be aware that they might change their offer based on the day. Original review: We came for the sun beds! The sun beds here come with a minimum consumption of 300$ per person. The food is nice for people who eat fish/seafood. Besides Guacamole there is no vegan option available unfortunately. They sell different smoothies and juices which are delicious - but unfortunately no coffee. The bar next to Punta Puerto plays loud music in the afternoon which was a bit annoying for us but others might like it.
Nice option for a day on the beach. 300 pesos per person minimum spend to use the beach loungers (no automatic tip added to the bill). Bathrooms were a bit nicer than other places I found. This place was busy so go early if you want one of the spots up front. Food was pretty good and servers were nice.

This was fine, everywhere they charge you to get onthe beds with a minimum spend. Here 250 pesos per person. Drinks were good. Food was not.
Just had pina coladas this time, no food - I’d say okay, not amazing on the pinas, but great location right on the beach!
Charged us for chairs when it’s usually a minimum consomption saying it was semana santa when it wasn’t! Rude waiters. Avoid this place!
LIARS :( In the menu says *masa madre* and they gave us commercial bread. They told chutney and was a Bimbo burger with a tomato, i payed for 2 camastros and I only can use one. NO WIFI, everthting expensive si a ripoff DONT COME
Very disappointing. We spend the entire day here and spend around 1600 pesos. We ordered the quesadillas, which tastes like nothing btw, and these come with guacamole. We finished the guacamole and asked for a bit more. We were told we had to order an entire serving of guacamole (185 pesos). Super rude considering us already spending so much money. Besides, we both got diarrhea now and are not feeling well. We only ate at Punta Puerto so it must come from this place. Please dont go!!!!!!!
