We had the Sunday lunch buffet and it was a great variety and value, and so flavorful. They also brought us out some fresh naan which was the perfect texture. We also loved that the plain naan was exactly that: plain, and not salty at all, which made it an ideal complement to pair with spicy and seasoned curry.
Fantastic service, owner made sure we were comfortable well cared for the entire stay. The food was delicious and fresh, especially the Naan. The goat Biriyani was also memorably delicious. Definitely stop by if you’re around the area. Hospitality + good food, what else can you ask for?
Millag is always so helpful and happy to help me. I’m a regular here and their food is always delicious with so much flavor and always makes my stomach happy:)
I had a great experience at the restaurant. The cheesy bacon burger was as delicious and the Cajun fries were superb. I would definitely go to this restaurant again. The service was top tier and the food even above that.
Came here for a quick bite, food was delicious! The service was great, and Millad checked in on us and make sure we enjoyed the food. Very hospitable, and delicious food.
Had the weekend lunch buffet and the food was amazing. Great value for your dollar. Staff were very hospitable
Went for the lunch special with my wife and it was fantastic. The nice gentleman server was awesome and the food was so good. It’s attached to an excellent market with hard to find goods that we are always looking for. Great experience. Will be back.
Me and my family went here last week for groceries to prepare a few curries veggie, and meat and left with samosas upon checkout, they were delicious, also the quality and selection was amazing for shopping. And tonight we tried the food at the grill and flavors were great. Definitely add this for a place to shop and eat when on OBT.
Bombay Grill is easily one of my favorite spots for Indian food. The Goat Makhani is rich and tender, and the Chicken Biryani is packed with flavor — I get them almost every time. The food’s always consistent, portions are generous, and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're into bold, comforting Indian dishes.
Oh my God! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They have a lunch buffet with a variety of Indian favorites, I loved the korma chicken and the lentils, the samosas, everything. My daughter got the chicken Tikka masala which is the reason we came for it was also delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!!
Sad to see Bombay was no longer in business, but still had a very pleasant visit to Masala Kitchen! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, and the place was very clean. The staff even apologized to us for our order taking a little longer than usual because of a surplus of to-go orders that were placed before we arrived. Food was amazing, and I was happy to see they still had a lot of the same items as Bombay like the chai tea and garlic naan bread. Bombay was always a must whenever I’m came into town, and Masala Kitchen is living up to that too! Definitely will be returning!
I’ve been here twice and have loved it both times! I can not remember what I ordered but whatever it was, it was amazingly delicious and completely fulfilling. They also have plenty of vegan, gluten free, etc. options available which I loved since I’m vegan and am usually limited to very little options at most restaurants. The service was also great both times I visited. Very nice and quick too!
I don’t want to give a bad review to good people, but there are some issues that would prevent me from going back. The first is that it took about 40 minutes to get our food. The second is that the portion sizes of the curry dishes were way too small for the price. The curry itself was good, but we ordered pizza also, which was not good. If they sped things up a bit and had more reasonable portion sizes, it would be a good place to go.
I ordered the chicken biryani multiple times. I specially told the person no spice as it was for my young kids from a non-indian background. The guy confirmed specifically no spice. When I tasted it, it was the spicyest biryani I've ever had in the United States. My son cried when he tasted a few bites. Also, all the trays I've ate from there, not 1 had a white piece of chicken. Only chunks of old thigh and near meatless parts.
Will never ever go to this restaurant. I generally don't write reviews as I understand it is not easy to manage restaurant business but a terrible experience here made me to write this review. First of all, we were told that plates are not sanitized so they gave us paper plates, we said it is ok. But in other table (looks like a known customer) they served regular plates, didn't like this biasing treatment to begin with. The whole restaurant was not clean including the table that we sat. Then turns out all the dishes came in to-go boxes but served for dine-in. Then on the food, the rice was pretty old and they were reheating more that the rice became like crackers. Naan was not cooked at all as we can taste the dough. Chicken lollipop was pathetic, we didn't even touch it. That was like a KFC Chicken topped with a sauce. It seems like they are running this business for the sake of running, it is better to be closed as this poses risk in people's life. Wondering how the city permits these unhygienic places to be in the business.
