First time out in a while and I’m happy I came here! There was a bit of a wait even with a reservation, but definitely worth it. The service is amazing. I asked questions about the menu and the waiter was straight forward about what he would recommend and whether the food was too much. We placed an order and he literally came back saying he didn’t place the dish we were hesitant on saying it was going to be too much food and boy was he right (also saved us $$$)! But honestly, the food was beyond amazing. Get the octopus for sure as an appetizer, cannot go wrong. The fresh fish comes out de-boned, and so good. The drinks, strong, just how I like it. Even got a complimentary dessert on the way out!! Will definitely be coming here again.

I was there many years ago and felt it was a little cold the atmosphere, but I was pleasantly surprised the other day. It was very warm. Multiple people were happy having dinner there and the service was excellent.

Without a doubt, Milos is the best Greek restaurant in NYC. The fish could not be fresher, the sides and apps are superb, and the wait staff is major league pro.

Great food and very attentive staff. We made a reservation with a party of 5 as all of us were going to Masquerade held a block or two away from this restaurant. We were asked upon entry if we were going to a show and we informed the staff we had to be leaving an hour from our entry. We were brought full service and attention by the staff with amazingly tasty food. We did not order courses but rather shared plates family style. The Milo special was delicious and the ribeye was cooked to perfection. We ordered other items but those two were the highlight for me personally. Ladies, if you want to dine some place close to Masquerade and will dine in your fine attire, this is a marvelous place to eat and rest before your event. We dined at 5:30pm, left at 6:30pm and we were one of the first in line for our 7:15pm showtime. Delicious food to share amongst others and very professional and attentive staff (not to mention beautiful interior and other similarly dressed people, your sparkly Ladivine dresses will be perfect here).

Enjoyed everything on my plate. The Milos Special is still one of my favorite dishes, I also wish I got the crab cake. Here we had what felt like 3 servers. My only dislike was how close two-person tables were together. It made going to the restroom, or anywhere hard to move. Would definitely come back.

This was my first time at Milos and it was for an special event. The staff works very hard to ensure that our experience was an exceptional one. From the moment we arrived and was greeted at the door, I felt we were at a restaurant that caters to it's customer every need. The private room for our event was decorated nicely, the wait staff and chef made great meal recommendations. Our table enjoyed spreads from grilled octopus, calamari, and fried zucchini. The fish was some of the best I've ever had. You just simply can’t go wrong.

There is no price for lobster showed on the menu It’s 70 dollars per pound. We ordered a lobster pasta, 200 dollars😅 Food is delicious

Absolute nyc gem. Never knew about this place until a recent dinner date. The warehouse ceiling seems endless but the spaciousness of this venue offer comfort in spacing as well as the space to take in everything happening. There is ample outdoor seating as well and the bar seems like its on the other end of street. This place is vast. Opaque white drapes that adorned one area were a gorgeous accent. There was a moderate level of guest when we arrived but within an hour almost every table was occupied. You could tell there were plenty of regulars by how the staff addressed them.. impressive. We ordered several appetizers with a delicious bottle of white. Be warned, the servings here are generous. I got the lobster salad because I knew we had enough appetizers but an entire giant lobster came with the salad stuffed between. I couldn't finish. The staff was nothing short of excelsior. I am definitely returning with company.

The food was delicious, I went with some friends and we tried different dishes and they all were great! Service was good and quick as well, kind personnel. I would like the tables to be a little bigger but other than that, I totally recommend it

Amazing seafood - chef offered to do a mix of two types of fish to share for our table, sea bass and red snapper. Both were very tender and well seasoned. But my favorite was actually the fried zucchini, definitely set my expectations high for the rest of the meal.

Superb quality and thoroughly enjoyed Saturday brunch in their beautiful environment. Highlights included the octopus appetizer and the crab cake and arctic char entrees. Their Santorini White wine was enjoyable as was their espresso. Look forward to returning.

Delicious food, I tried the oysters, salmon sashimi, salmon and tuna tartare, ceviche, grilled octopus, calamari, lavraki, red snapper, lamb chops, and the rib eye. Great fresh fish, delicious rib eye. Was a little loud but overall good food. I wasn’t paying so I have no comments on the price.

Went there with my clients for dinner. We're 200% satisfied, and my clients are so happy to got to know this great Greek authentic restaurant! Staff are working hard, friendly, no bad attitude to Asian people (us). The sommelier gave us good advice when choosing wine. And the food we ordered were fresh and amazing! My clients loved the lobster pasta!!

Been in the city for holidays and wanted to try some greek food. Everything was amazing, the food tasted like back in Greece, the highlights were the Milos Special and the Tomatoe Salad, dont miss the Octopus which is probably the best you are going to try in your life. If you are looking for some fish visit the famous fish market. Service was impeccable and friendly from beginning to end. Highly recommended!

Went on a friend's recommendation. Shared with my dinner partner the three Greek spreads and perfectly grilled octopus. We also shared grilled branzino. The fresh fish selection is beautiful. Had the walnut cake for dessert. It was delicious with wonderful spices. Spacious restaurant and attentive service.

One of my go to spots for really good Greek food. Nice variety of items everything is fresh. Nice wine list. If you’re ever in Las Vegas they have a sister restaurant that I recommend as well. When I’m back in New York City I will visit Milos again

So are you up for some authentic Greek food? Not Greek-American food (a loose adaptation of the original), but authentic Greek food: It's going to cost you about $10k. I figured a couple of plane tickets (and you're flying coach!), a modest hotel room, some freshly caught seafood that was still swimming in the Aegean Sea that morning, and a few days of jetlag. If you'd rather spend less time and money, your only option is Milos on 55th Street. It's like eating in Greece, really--no exaggeration, but you won't need your passport. Having been born and raised in Greece I can say as much with the authority of a local. Milos is not inexpensive, mind you, but you get what you pay for. The seafood on the menu is not necessarily what's available: That's the whole point of "catch of the day"; you never know what you'll catch, and things run out! But you can go right up to the brightly lit ice counter and pick your own fish--there's a wide variety! Your server can help with recommendations; if you want mine, go for tsipoura (sea bream) grilled, with just olive oil and lemon, barbouni (red mullet), fried, or glossa (sole), preferably fried--but grilled works too. A grilled lavraki (sea bass) is a good choice too! We haven't touched on starters yet, and it's a crime to skip those: Order a Horiatiki (a tomato salad with cucumbers, green peppers, onions, kalamata olives and feta, with olive oil and vinegar) for sure, and don't forget the Milos Special; razor-thin slices of zucchini and eggplant, lightly battered and flash-fried, served with thick tzatziki (it's not a "sauce" folks; it's a dip!) and fried haloumi cheese. The grilled octopus is tender and delicious; I wish it didn't come with onions, capers and the like, because just oil and vinegar makes it perfect! The Greek Spreads sampler platter is a winner too when it comes to shareables! Horta are dandelion greens, boiled and tender, served with olive oil and lemon; a standard Greek staple (order some as a side dish for the fish or as an additional starter). After dinner, save room for galaktoboureko, a square of phyllo-covered milk custard pie that will make you feel like you're in Greece! Greek yogurt with honey is also a common light and healthy dessert! Karydopita, a Greek walnut cake, is wonderful too. The service is prompt and friendly. When Vassilis swings by your table to see if everything is ok, tell him nothing was ok: It was spectacular. You'll be telling the truth, and you'll be back to Milos in Midtown over and over again!

I came here with a group of coworkers on a Friday afternoon and it did not disappoint! You can't beat the lunch special here which comes with an appetizer, entree and dessert. I opted for the octopus appetizer which was cooked perfectly, the tuna burger and a walnut dessert. There are some dishes that come with an upcharge but they looked worth it in my opinion. If you're looking for a fresh seafood restaurant in midtown, this is the spot.

This was a really elegant dining spot. The food was great, the atmosphere and the service as well. We celebrated our friends birthday. This restaurant fitted perfectly for this purpose.

Great experience during lunch. The price and choices for lunch are actually very worth it and pretty filling. Soup tasted great and oysters were very fresh. Salmon tartar was by far the best dish for us. The flavor was amazing and the fact that you can still taste the salmon itself through all the flavor is amazing. The lamb chops were great as well. Dessert was cake with some ice cream. Can't go wrong with that. Very worth the visit. Can't wait to come back and see how dinner is.

My husband and I needed a last minute reservation close to our hotel. *Insert Milos* Holy Moly. I don't know what I was expecting but wow, I was blown away. From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to our "captain taking us fishing," we were thoroughly impressed. We shared with the sommelier that we are traveling to Greece this Fall. He recommended wines based on where we are traveling and helped us with some off the beaten path things to do. The food was unbelievable. The fish and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Next time we will bring more people so we can order a whole fish sashimi!

We recently dinned at Milos for our anniversary and had an excellent visit! We have dinned at Milos in Montreal but this was even better. The fish was fresh and tasted amazing. We had the Balada and it was nothing like we had ever tasted. So fresh and so moist. We will be visiting again next time we are in town.

A truly fantastic Greek dining experience. The service was extraordinary from the point we walked in until we left. Our party of six shared a number of appetizers and entrees. Every plate was fantastic. We especially liked the salted Loup de Mer and the Lamb Chops.

Hands down the best Greek food outside of Greece. I can never have another tomato unless it comes from Milo’s! The food is incredibly fresh and service is top notch. You’ll see that from the moment that they bring out fresh herbs and trim it for your olive oil and bread. I recommend the Greek salad, the eggplant and zucchini tower, and the grilled octopus

T

Delicious seafood restaurant in a beautiful setting. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fresh fish served daily. Really enjoyed the octopus and the fried zucchini chip appetizers. Make a reservation in advance as it can get very busy. Also the space can get loud, especially the downstairs seating area.

My favorite restaurant on the trip. I mean, Greek style brought to simplicity and perfection and elevated with world class ingredients with pedigree. Simple is always best, for those that know how to prepare it. To give you an idea we ate at 2 Michelin restaurants on this trip, and this place was way better. No comparison. 2 bottles of white wine, appetizers including raw snapper (best ever) oysters, scallops, grilled fish, desert wines, an more. Totally worthwhile, It was so good I wanted a repeat! 100% I will go back.

Super healthy Greek Seafood restaurant, with meat options but go for the fresh fish. Delicious Greek sides, mezze and desserts. Your new baklava was good but you should try the walnut cake. One of the best selections of Greek wines in the city always packed but somehow service seems professional, relaxed and speedy, and focus is always about the food in making sure you enjoy it.

The dishes tasted fresh, the staff helped us well, and we had no complaints. The meal was decent but didn't match our best experiences. Their staff demonstrated both genuine interest and friendly manners. This place creates a good environment. I'm making plans to return soon.

Loved Milos!!! The place is super busy, we came on a Friday night and it was packed! Such a great atmosphere! The service was outstanding, 10/10!!!! Everything we ate was amazing, so fresh, very tasty, I loved the fried zucchini tower!! I can’t wait to come back to Milos!!!

The food was incredibly authentic, and as lovers of Greek cuisine, we were thoroughly impressed. This place stands out as the best we've had the pleasure of trying. The lamb dishes were particularly noteworthy, with generous portions and bursting with flavor. Can't recommend it enough!

We visited last week for dinner, and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was impeccable and perfectly timed when we mentioned we had a show to attend. I really enjoyed the simplicity and wonderful flavor of each dish we chose. The restaurant’s décor and atmosphere are also very pleasant and inviting — a true delight for the eye.

Enjoyed my meal here. Food is ideally served more in a family style. Everything was very fresh. I got the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked medium as I requested. Everything was delicious and the staff was extremely attentive.

Always the best experience, food, and service every time I dine at Milos. Great white wine from Santorini and the salt baked branzino was amazing. The fish, oysters, and scallops were fresh and well prepared. Do not leave without trying the Greek yogurt - it tasted like I was back in Greece.

I had the thorough pleasure of dining here with my business partners and, let me tell you, Milos is TRULY AN EXPERIENCE TO BE INDULGED! We were celebrating our first year in business and thought it only appropriate to gift ourselves with a fine dining experience. Firstly, I have never tasted a better OLD-FASHIONED than what I had here; crisp, balanced, smooth and simply divine. It was so well-made I ordered a second. To further titillate the palate, we ordered a dozen RAW OYSTERS (à la carte), which were fresh, succulent and divine. Had it not been for the fact that we were eating more food, I could have easily order another dozen, just for me. We all went with the 3-course lunch option - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - to carry us through our experience. I started (or continued) with the OCTOPUS, which was char-broiled and absolutely HEAVENLY. The plating was magnificent and the balance of flavors with the pureé was exquisite. From there, I moved on to the TUNA BURGER. I order that primarily because two of my partners already ordered the HALIBUT, which was a generous replacement of the sold-out GRILLED FISH OF THE DAY. So I went against the grain and selected something different; and I’m so glad I did. Paired with lightly fried zucchini sticks and a daikon radish salad, this was not typical tuna burger. For a visually simply dish, the flavors were bold, complex, inviting and astoundingly refreshing. I could have easily ordered a second of everything, to go. I finished my course with the KARYDOPITA, a Greek spiced walnut cake, which came with honey lavender ice cream. Simply DIVINE! Again, I am extraordinarily grateful for Milos and the Service Staff for making our First Anniversary one to remember and cherish! You would do well to treat yourselves to this top-tier, noteworthy experience, and for no other reason than YOU deserve to treat yourself. You will be so happy you did. I have no doubts that I will be back; and if you see me there, don’t stare, say heylo!

This is my first Milos experience and outdoor dining in midtown under a canopy. Their customer service was exemplary. Food was well prepared, wonderfully presented, and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. The Milos dressing on Romain Salad is the best I've tasted - creamy yet light. The perfect balance for salad dressing. Very expensive but worth it.

N
Nikhil Surana

Had an extraordinary lunch here at the bar. Sampled many of the fresh seafood offerings - langoustine, cravette Royale, live scallop and soft shell crab. Each dish was incredible- fresh and perfectly seasoned as to not overpower the fish. Service is absolutely excellent. Could not be more pleased with this restaurant.

T

Great service and fresh food. What do you want more? Go for the grilled sea bass, and the appetizers shown in the photos - the octopus is definitely a must-have: super soft (and I’m an octopus-person, believe me - no chewing gum please).

First time here and it was an extraordinary experience. All staff, from hostess to servers and Manager made feel so welcoming and comfortable. I didn't have a reservation, and I'm not sure if helped that I was by myself. They all delivered an outstanding service. Talking about the food I've never had a Salmon medium term cooked so well. I doubted on getting it medium but the perfection of the texture was surprising. There's a company of beans more as decoration, but they were savory. For dessert I had the Yogurth with honey and walnuts and it was superb. I really loved it here and easily will come back and make it a regular.

M

Food is delicious, service fantastic. There’s just the level of noise, it’s really difficult to talk normally. That being said, the tomatoes are always the best ever and the variety and quality of the fish, always perfect.

It is a restaurant specialized in fish, they bring it 3 times a week from Greece, you can also find incredible cuts of meat and lamb! We tried fish carpaccio, lamb and a rib eye with 21 days of aging, everything was incredible! The service, presentation, and atmosphere were incredible! It is an elegant and special place to share! 100% recommended! I would travel from Miami again just to eat here!

Been going to the original location in Montreal since 2010 and randomly when I’m in the City so to come across this location in NYC was an absolute delight! The food is TOP NOTCH Greek food, it is so fresh and tasty. We ordered almost everything off of the app menu and had the Seabass baked in Sea Salt - it was DIVINE!!! definitely a must try. The venue is gorgeous and clean. Thank you Estiatorio Milos!!! 😘 🤌

Wow! It had been some time, since I had such delicious grilled Greek seafood. Love the freshness, quality and taste of the seafood. I recommend the oysters, salmon cooked to medium (to bring out the creaminess) and the grilled whole fish. The salmon was out of this world! Please order it as medium (never well done!) We came here twice during restaurant week! The grilled octopus (needs to be softer and less charred) and grilled squid (needs more charred and more seasoning. Am not sure stuffing it woth cheese is a good idea. Why? Because you cant char it as well on the inside) were nice (4 out of 5) but i have tasted better at other Greek or Seafood places. The walnut cake is too sweet to be soaked in honey. Just a drizzle on the side of the place is adequate.

What can I possibly say that hasn’t been said 1000 times before about Milos? An absolutely incredible restaurant from beginning to end. The food is simple and impeccable and the technique is out of this world. Everything is perfection. The staff are professional and keep just the right amount of distance. The space is gorgeous and airy, but it does get crowded and loud as to be expected but again last night was one of the best meals I’ve had in years.

G

The atmosphere is very nice and open. The service was great. They took us to the booth to pick our own fish. And choose what we want them to be cooked as. The food was really good and we also choose a great chardonnay to go with the seafood. For the dessert, the creamy pastry is really great. I would bring my parents here next time

Brunch at Milos in New York is an experience not to be missed! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing brunch. The brunch menu is a delightful blend of traditional and innovative dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. The seafood selection is particularly impressive – we enjoyed the sashimi and the tuna, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The lamb chops were delicious. The Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was a perfectly sweet ending to our meal. The service was great The quality and presentation of each dish were impeccable, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to culinary excellence. Overall, our brunch at Milos was a truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier brunch spot in New York!

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is simply outstanding – every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the moussaka was rich and comforting, and the Greek salad tasted like it came straight from the Mediterranean. Portions are generous and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh. The service is exceptional – attentive without being intrusive, and the staff truly care about making your dining experience special. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner, this restaurant captures the true spirit of Greek hospitality. Highly recommended!

Amazing!!! I didn't expect to find a restaurant in the middle of NYC, where they would have such rich selection of very fresh fish from all over the world, beautifully displayed on ice like you're on a market. We had soft shell crab, a tower of zucchini with fresh cheese and haloumi, a "simple" cucumber and tomato salad with feta cheese as starters. As a main we had two types of fish, which were prepared as a ceviche. Wow! So fresh and so tasteful!

Milos has many locations. Even in NY there were 2. But I went to the location in Midtown. Been to the locations in Vegas and Miami as well. My fav location would be the Vegas one. I normally order the same thing every time I’m there. But sometime their seafood if not in season the time I was there then I just switched to other dish that were available. I love their Greek salad and Greek yogurt. First time tried their stone crab and it was not as good as how I was expected. They weren’t sweet. That’s the only dish was ok. Other dishes they were phenomenal like lobster spaghetti, grilled shrimps, octopus. I had their seabass at other locations was very tasty. One of my fav restaurant that’s why I have been to 3 locations so far when I was on my trip. Overall everything is excellent. As for parking. We walked or uber. Cuz it’s hard to find parking in NY and they cost an arm and leg for paid parking Lol.

Came here as part of a special weekend in NYC. We had a very wet weekend with a Nor-Easter blowing in and decided to stay close to the hotel. This place is better than anything we experienced in Hells Kitchen. Food was very memorable with a delicious cheesecake to punctuate the evening.

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service truly sets it apart. I especially want to highlight our amazing waitress—she’s always so kind, attentive, and goes out of her way to make sure we’re taken care of. Even when we’ve made last-minute reservations or changes, she’s been incredibly accommodating with a smile every time. It’s rare to find that level of genuine hospitality these days. Highly recommend! Mimoza thank you for always being such a sweetheart. You’re probably the reason why I’m here four days a week.

Came here with hubby for our anniversary after watching a Broadway show nearby. Place did not disappoint-- can always count on this restaurant for good food and service and ambiance. Place feels fancy but the staff/servers are not stuck-up. My only gripe is that it is sooo pricey, if ordering a la carte. The fresh caught fish from the selections was anywhere from $70 to $95 -- a POUND! Which would make a 2 pound Branzino $200!!! Now, I LOVE branzino but there is no way in hell that I'm paying $200 for it! (Besides, I make whole Branzino at home regularly, so it's certainly not a novelty for me.) On that note, they were very smart to do a pre-theater menu for $65 (albeit with smaller-sized dishes, which was actually completely fine), which draws people in, I'm sure. We ended up doing one pre-theater menu - 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, and 1 dessert (had the grilled octopus, which was delicious and the Dorado, which was good but not great, and the cake with ice cream, which was very good) and a few dishes a la carte. We had the Greek Salad, which was delicious, the giant prawns (too chewy), and the scallops, which were divine! Also had the dip trio, which was very good! Best dish, hands down, was the scallops!

Everything was prepared to perfection. Rib eye, tuna steak, stuffed zucchini flower, steamed beats, and beans. The oysters were east coast. Not their fault, but I always forget to not order East side oysters….they simply lack depth and taste.

I had an issue when I first sat down. Very high number of the best specialties were for multiple oeople. Being on a business trip, I was a single diner. When I got up to leave, and rip the waiter for his trouble, he insisted he could solve it. He personally found a smaller fish from their huge selection and customized a full off menu for a single diner. That customer focus is what takes a restaurant from great to absolutely spectacular. And the service continued at that level throughout the entire meal. Now on to the food.. The ceviche was beautifully presented and the flavors on point. Just enough acidic to complement the fish and and the herbs and beans.. Add the fresh artisanal bread and the strong Greek Olive Oil to the massive Greek salad and it was almost a meal in itself. And note the fresh herbs cut at the table into the olive oil. None of that weak 'pale' olive oil. This had that robust flavor you expect. The salad had a lot of tomatoes all of which were heirloom varieties. And the entire salad was dressed as it should be. Enough to be noticible but as a support for the natural flavors of the fresh ingredients. And finally the fish arrived. Gently cooked with a nice does of herbage, olive oil, and capers. The flavors of the fish were spot on, accentuated by the herbs and olive oil but not overwhelmed. A stunning presentation of simplicity. And even the accompanying steamed vegetables were well cooked but still had that womderful crunch of not being over cooked. And througout, severs came by, managers stopped by, and yiu could see the passion for the customer from top to bottom. So nice to find a restaurant that cares. My only regret is coming alone so I could not sample more of the menu items as I watched some very appetizing and intriguing ones go by. And watching the precision, having done a few myself, of the serving of the salt baked fish..... This is one of those places you never forget and always recommend.. Bravo and accolades to everyone here

I had an amazing dining experience at Milo’s! The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection—every bite was bursting with flavor. The quality and presentation of the dishes were outstanding. On top of that, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Milos is one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service, selection of fish, and appetizers are amazing. Everything I ate was fabulous. It has two menus: one called the Pre-Theater Menu, designed for people who need to attend a show after lunch in Broadway where it is 7 min far away walking and the original menu. The concept of these menus is really nice and practical.

The lobster was incredibly fresh and sweet, perfectly paired with the Athenian-style pasta. Simple, elegant flavors that let the quality of the seafood truly shine, complemented by attentive and excellent service. A refined and memorable dining experience. 💫🍝🦞

Great food, delicious flavor combinations, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing customer service. The location is excellent as well — super easy to find, especially if you’re coming from Central Park and looking for a good meal. We had the three-course menu and it was fabulous! The fish was incredibly fresh (you can even see it near the kitchen), and the presentation and taste were impeccable. I recommend making a reservation in advance since it’s a busy place. Next time I’m in New York, I’ll definitely come back!

Some of you know I have travelled extensively around the world running marathons etc and I have had a lot of dining experience. This authentic Greek restaurant offers excellent personal service, pleasant ambiance and fine dining at its best. They have really ‘nailed it’. I can think of maybe two or three others I have been to that match it. If visiting Manhattan and looking for somewhere special to dine I highly recommend Milos. 🐟 🦀 🦞 🍆 🍾🥂

Wow wow wow! Accidentally came across this place and fell in love we came back twice! The food is amazing, we had calamari octopus and sea bream the first time and second time went back and tried a steak. Honestly amazing and fresh and very friendly staff, would 1000% recommend !

From the moment I walked into Milos Midtown NYC, everything was pure perfection. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, the service attentive and gracious, and the food absolutely extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you to Biron, Fotis, and Vasilis who made my evening unforgettable. Biron greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality, Fotis ensured everything was timed perfectly and made wonderful recommendations, and Vasilis added charm and expertise that elevated the entire experience. Every dish was exquisite, from the freshest zucchini flowers to the perfectly grilled octopus and the decadent espresso martini and delicious rose wine from Greece. The attention to detail, the presentation, and the flavors reminded me why Milos stands among the very best dining experiences in New York City. I left completely impressed and can’t wait to return. Milos Midtown is truly a masterclass in world-class dining and hospitality, thanks to an incredible team that goes above and beyond every time.

We stopped by to try the pre-theater menu here before heading to the Carnegie Hall. My wife ordered the salad and Salmon and I went with the fish soup and whole fish. The fish soup was slightly salty with great flavor. The whole fish was perfectly cooked with the meat tender and juicy and very lightly seasoned which brought out the flavor of the fish. I got to taste my wife’s salmon which was delicious and full of flavor. I would highly recommend both dishes. We both ordered the walnut pie. It’s a little too sweet to my liking as it’s soaked in a light syrup. The service was attentive and the courses were well paced. Overall a great experience. Oh, forgot to mention, the waiter brought fresh herbs and cut them into the olive oil in front of us for the pre dinner bread. It was a nice touch.

Bougie Greek restaurant in Midtown West, located in the Hudson Yards Mall. Prices are on the higher end. Its lavish interior design makes it a wonderful spot for celebrations and celebrities. If you are lucky enough to get a window table, you’ll have a great view of the Vessel. We had their levraki branzino from the fish market along with lemon potatoes and loved it. Expect bones in your fish. Their Greek salad and fried calamari were also good.

If you’re in NYC and looking for fresh seafood, this is the place to go ! You can choose to go up to the variety of seafood on ice and pick the specific piece of fish you’d like or the waiter can bring to you their suggested choice. The environment is reserved and classy. The food is savoury and very succulent. I would have easily rated them a 5 star if the waiter and/or kitchen hadn’t made a mistake in regards to my allergy alert. I pointed out the error prior to consumption and they immediately made me a new meal. Though I still had to wait for a new meal, nor did they remove it off of my bill which was disappointing. So if you have allergies be aware.

I came here with family for restaurant week. Their set has 3 parts: an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. The service was great despite the restaurant being completely full. The food was delicious and the prices were great. My favorite was the lobster pasta even though it was the most expensive dish we ordered.

Classic Mediterranean spot - definitely the OGs of elevated Mediterranean but prices are WAY too high for the portions. The decor inside is very lackluster. Service was great though and the team members were very attentive. Suggest trying the Tartare, filet mignon & crab cakes

Milos is a well-known restaurant in the United States. However, compared to some other places I've visited, I found that their menu lacked variety. The appetizers were the highlight, but the main courses didn't have the same wow factor. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is classy. One of the best things about this place is its fixed menu for pre- and post-theater dining. The restaurant stays open until 12 a.m., making it a great option for a post-Broadway show dinner.

Amazing restaurant! Great service, great atmosphere! All the dishes were expertly refined to reach the expected level of such an institution. Greek food brought to 21st century NY. The display is a treat to anybody's eyes, all dishes served with a high level of appeal and taste, freshness is just supreme! Toilets are even kept on one of the highest standards I've seen. Promt and spotless service! Go there, you won't be sorry! Update: June 2019: The place remained the same, but the service is a bit lacking. Food as always, is delicious. Update: May 2022 The service is still great, but disappointing that the menu almost hasn’t changed at all. Tuna burger was dry and according to the waiter is served well done. Degraded from 5 to 4 stars.

Started off on a pretty bad note.... We made a reservation 3 weeks before and was brought downstairs to be seated where it was 20% full and was shown to the worst table there, right next to the hallway to the bloody toilets! (See pic) Immediately asked to be seated further inside the restaurant. The table we finally got was a reasonable one but first gut feel was terrible. The food we ordered was very fresh and succulent. In particular we enjoyed the scallops and the lobster pasta. Huge portions! The appetizers were good and there was a healthy selection of drinks. Desserts were also well done. Service was very good though the exception was really the first sitting of the table. The restaurant quickly filled up so of you want a seat at this place, book early... And funny get the table next to the toilet!

This Mediterranean spot had been on my list for a while, and I finally got to visit on International Women’s Day. We arrived early and the place was packed. There was a long wait, even with a reservation. While we waited, we enjoyed cocktails at the bar, explored the fish market's impressive seafood selection, and chose our fish. Our table was finally ready 15 minutes past our reservation, and we were seated downstairs. The upstairs ambiance felt more lively, with high ceilings and Mediterranean-inspired decor, while downstairs was quieter and more intimate. We ended up ordering the following: -Greek salad: was fresh, especially the juicy tomatoes. However, the menu says it serves two to four people, but realistically, it's perfect for two. -Lobster pasta: very good! The lobster was perfectly cooked and beautifully plated with its tail and head. Originally, I planned to get this as my main while my friend was considering the whole salt-baked St. Pierre fish. Our server suggested sharing the pasta since it was $77 per pound and required at least two pounds (a huge portion) —bringing our total to $215. -Karydopita (a traditional Greek spiced walnut cake with honey lavender ice cream): the ice cream is only available at lunch, but our server kindly made an exception, which was much appreciated—it really balanced the flavors. The sommelier guided us toward a nice bottle of Greek wine to complement our meal. Also, their complimentary warm bread with Greek olive oil and microgreens was a great touch. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, answering all of our questions about the menu and offering great suggestions. Our server was extremely attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, the food was fresh and high quality, but we felt it was a bit overpriced. The long wait was frustrating, but the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d recommend it for a special occasion.

Came here for lunch with some friends and the food was quite good. Focusing more on seafood, they had a great variety to choose from on their 3 course menu. At 48 dollars, it was rather worth it. I quite enjoyed their octopus starter. The octopus was very tender. Worth a stop.

The dining room has not been updated in 25 years since it opened. The food is very good but not amazing. Picking out your own fish is silly and ends up feeling like a rip off on price. The salt baking takes an hour and can only be done with very expensive larger fish (not worth it, grill is best preparation). Tomato salad is their best item. Fries are $15 per serving!! The zucchini chips are $30 each! Everything is a la cart. Desserts are disappointing. Service was not well coordinated and a bit odd personalities. This place is part of a chain with not great store level management. Still was packed on a rainy Sunday night. They have a 3 course pre-theater menu for $65 pp. Our bill for 5 people was $564 plus $100 tip (my husband is a generous tipper😩). We felt it was overpriced but we still like it and would probably go back because we do like good Greek food.

During lunch at Baccarat, we overheard a gentleman, who claimed to be a personal friend of rapper Jay-Z, mention that he was heading to Milos for a meal. Intrigued, we decided to visit Milos for dinner. Our experience began with Georgios, our captain, who escorted us to the back of the restaurant to showcase their fresh seafood selection. He explained the various flavor profiles and preparation methods for the different fish and curated a tasting menu for us. Although he offered “smaller” portions of some popular dishes, the servings were quite generous. The service was decent, especially given how busy they were on a Monday afternoon. My only negative is that a couple of times they brought out the next dish while we were still working on one, making it feel a little rushed. It is advisable to make a reservation for weekends. I highly recommend the fresh scallop ceviche and the Branzino ceviche. While the octopus was decent, I have yet to find perfect octopus, as it often tends to be too chewy. The standout dish was the Milos Special. The paper-thin zucchini and eggplant, fried to perfection, had a great flavor and texture. The ranch-like tzatziki dip complemented the dish well. Although the saganaki seemed out of place, it was tasty on its own. The grilled sea bass was light and simply cooked, drizzled with olive oil, making for a pleasant conclusion to the savory portion of the meal. Although it did lack salt, I respect letting the flavour of the fish to shine through. For dessert, the Baklava was fresh and not overly sweet, with a nice flaky texture of the phyllo pastry. Paired with a side scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was delightful. We are glad we followed the recommendation to dine at Milos. I recommend this restaurant for fresh seafood enthusiasts.

Disappointing visit to Milos location by Central Park NYC. Had prior good experiences in Miami location. Not here. Food was mixed - some items great and others pretty bad. Chicken was super dry and my friend left 90% of it behind. Grilled fish and zucchini appetizer were very good. Service was terrible. Staff treated us and other guests like it was our privilege to dine there. Unfriendly. Just the wrong vibe for a place like Milos. Overall disappointing - not great experience

Had a business dinner for 8 and got sit in the lobby in a small table. The place was so loud, and like a bar foods place. The foods is good but the atmosphere is so unfit for business meals. I usually come here every time I come to NYC, it is one of my favorite restaurants. This time our waiter was extremely rude, the other staff where really nice to us, but the waiter in charge or table was rude. There was a poor offer of fish available. Hope next time is better.

Came here with a large group for dinner. Had reservations but still a long wait with them before we were seated. The menu has a good amount of options and is heavy on the seafood. Meat options exist and the steak was ok. The seafood is fresh. The service was on the slower side and we were one of the later seating so our server left before we were finished eating. He even split our bill give the party size and did not advise the staff so after we paid we were basically chased for the remainder of the balance. Overall this was not worth the money and quality of the food was not as expected for the amount we were charged.

Dined pre-theater $65 for 3 courses. Seated in an awkward tight corner next to the waiter station. Enjoyed the octopus, not much else. Fish was missing ingredients, fries soggy, dessert basic. Place was packed by the time we left. Maybe try a different menu. (3/8/2025)

The best dish was the crab, mostly due to how sweet and fresh it tasted. The fish was also fresh and had an interesting meaty texture. The hummus sampler was okay. The pita bread seemed like they just bought it from the supermarket and reheated it. For this price point, I would like the pita bread to be fluffier. The waiter also forgot that we wanted the shrimp dish. Regarding the quantity of food, it was a bit pitiful. The fish was meant to be an entree, but the waiter gave us an option of broccoli OR potatoes. What happened to a balanced entree that consists of a protein, veges, and carbs?

We recently dined here as a family of five. While the food was indeed good—fresh fish, well-prepared lamb chops, and thoughtfully composed dishes—the prices were exorbitant to the point of absurdity. Our bill totaled over $700, and unfortunately, the experience simply wasn’t worth it. For context, we regularly dine at high-end establishments in New York City, Washington, DC and other destinations, and are more than willing to pay for exceptional food and service. But $97 per pound for prawns? $33 for an appetizer with just two tiny scallops? A $76 lamb dish that, while good, wasn’t close to justifying the price tag? It felt more like sticker shock than fine dining. Service was excellent—attentive, knowledgeable, and polished. But great service can’t make up for poor value. The acoustics were also a major issue. The space is loud, with nothing in the design to absorb sound, making conversation at the table frustratingly difficult. Add to that a lax approach to the dress code (one diner was in a wife beater), and the ambiance suffers even more. Bottom line: we had a nice meal, but we won't return. There are too many restaurants—locally and beyond—that deliver on quality, atmosphere, and value without leaving you feeling like you've been taken advantage of.

We were very disappointed with the way the staff handled the cost of the lobster versus the prawns. The staff member indicated that the lobster is very expensive however the prawns spaghetti was reasonably priced. I visited Estiatorio Milos Midtown on Tuesday evening for a family dinner while my mother was in town, and unfortunately it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Our reservation was for 7:00 PM. I fully understand that the holiday season is busy, but what followed was completely unacceptable. We repeatedly checked on the status of our table and were assured, multiple times, that we were “next.” As the lobby steadily emptied, it became blatantly clear that this was untrue. Corporate groups were consistently being seated ahead of us, despite our confirmed reservation and despite the staff insisting otherwise. Prioritizing large corporate parties may be profitable, but watching it happen so openly was astonishingly disrespectful. When it became clear that our wait had no real timeline, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he repeatedly told me to “calm down,” despite the fact that I was speaking at a normal tone and explicitly offered to continue the conversation somewhere more private. His dismissiveness and hostility were shocking. I have never encountered a manager who made a situation worse so quickly. His behavior made me so uncomfortable that I ultimately chose to take my family elsewhere. The message could not have been clearer: Estiatorio Milos Midtown is entirely focused on catering to corporate functions and has little regard for individual diners, even those with reservations. For a restaurant of this caliber, the lack of honesty, professionalism, and basic courtesy was astonishing. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was egregious. I won’t be returning, and I would strongly caution anyone expecting fair treatment or respect from the management. We ended up going to Acadia right nearby and had amazing, friendly service! I highly recommend! It feels nice to be treated with respect as a patron!
