I think about this market and it's people every day as I work around the world. With in the next 2 years I promise my self to take time out of my life and visit my birth place ( I so look forward to this time ) as my life winds down , I will take time to visit my memory's and this market is my fondest. Chilli Verde was excellent. The Salsa is one of the best around and they have multiple types. Regular and what they call spicy, I call it 🔥 loved it.

OMG....when I come back home, I always need to stop here for #3 combo which is three small tacos, rice & beans. I get the carnitas, barbacoa & carne asada tacos. Ordered two dozen tamales for Christmas and can't wait to eat them too!!!

When I first moved to sanger I was surprised to get tacos de carne asada with lettuce and tomato. Very few spots served authentic tacos, these have been the best I've had in town.

I drove from Fowler to try this place out and was very impressed. The food was great. I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion, remove the 2nd cash register and put in a couple of booths. 😁

Amazing food, as always. There's nowhere else in town that I would rather order Mexican food. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly, they serve delicious meals with generous portions. Their chili verde wet burritos are huge and delicious but my absolute favorite is their red tacos with onions and cilantro.

My husband and I went here for the first time last night. We went off of other review recs and got the wet barbacoa burrito and red tacos. The consomeè was amazing and the wet sauce on the burrito was so flavorful. The service was also great. Very friendly. My husband really appreciates a clean environment and you can tell they keep everything as clean and dust free as possible. A very relaxed environment. You can tell people come here regularly and know the staff. We will be back!

One of my favorite mexican food places in Sanger. I usually order a wet burrito, birria tacos, and a nice large horchata. They give a generous amount of food and everything tastes great.

This little downtown Sanger restaurant serves the most delicious Mexican food. The service is so good they even alter the recipes to accommodate your sauce preferences. Their house made chips are fantastic and the Pico de gillo was perfect. We will definitely return.

Travelers, if you're going from Sequoia to Yosemite and looking for authentic quality Mexican food that's reasonably priced, fresh, and delicious, this is the place. Birria Tacos are the best. Crispy King Bowl with Barbacoa meat is delicious too! Enjoy 😉

I have the #3 combo (3 tacos rice and beans) for $8.99, which is a steal of a deal! And I got barbacoa tacos and it was SOOO delicious! The meat was so tasty and tender. My mom got the crispy king (taco salad bowl) with Chile verde for $11. It was amazing and they give such big portions! Definitely will come here again!

Duuuude... This place has good tacos. Supposedly they've won awards for their "red tacos", which I did not know were the infamous birria tacos. I bought two red tacos and a crunchy taco. Both were extremely delicious in their own right. I can see how their tacos may have won awards, and although they are a little market hidden away in Sanger, they have great customer service. Some hidden gems I've gone to are not the greatest in that regard so that was nice. All in all it was a relatively quick and pleasant experience. A1 in food deliciousness and friendliness. Only complaint is that it is quite a small establishment, but that can't really be helped.

Stopped by for the barbacoa burrito. They are very delicious. Drove from Fresno, just for the burrito. They have other delicious items on the menu. But don't take my word for it, give them a try you won't be disappointed. They are a gem in this little city.

We've been looking for a good place to eat for awhile. This is the place for us. Only been here twice, but it was the first time that convinced us to keep coming back. The menu isn't big, but it doesn't need to be. Very friendly staff. If you don't live in Sanger then take a trip. You won't be disappointed.

They food here is excellent and the service is very good as well. It was very busy when we got here but our food came out quickly. Highly recommend the red tacos (or birrias tacos) which are very similar to what we get in Puerto Vallarta. You won’t be disappointed!

One of the best Mexican places in town. Has that old school knows you from the block feel. They have carnitas, carne asada, chicharrones, you name it. Taco plates, burritos, tortas and more. The Red Taco is a must. This Taco Festival winner is the go-to taco spot. It's located in a tiny neighborhood and has a tienda tambien. The service is great, the owners are always friendly and the portions are generous.

Their foods are excellent especially the menudo. I personally love their burritos.

I picked up my sister Vera & she needed to do an errand in Sanger. When we we're done ...I was getting hungry I asked the lady of the little shop if she was hungry? She said yes she was. I offered to buy her & her husband something to eat. We went to the next door to shop Mi Linda Tairrea to buy 2 Carne Asada Burritos with everything in it & 2 Sodas for them. and 1 same burrito for me. My sister had eaten already... The burritos were huge they have a little cart on the side with all kinds of Chile's you can get yourself... The cashier she was Very Friendly she showed me this new device to pay with your card you tap it on the screen and you don't have to put in your pin simple as that? I told her that's new Technology that's cool... the Employees had the burritos done in no time meaning Fast Service, Spotless place, Good Service Good People..

Son & I decided to check this place out being we have never been there. He ordered the daily special (3 tacos beans & rice) & I ordered the wet burrito (asada) with 2 red tacos. Very good food & will become one of my go to’s. The red tacos are amazing & the wet burrito has good flavor. My son also liked his asada tacos & wants to go back. All in all, friendly service, fairly quick in & out, with good food. Can’t really ask for much more.

The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was fun, exciting, beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The restaurant owner was also the cook and her daughter was the hostess/server both of them were sweet, kind and professional. The price and portions were perfectly reasonable. After we ate our food the owner came out and talked to us and we told her just how blown away we were by her restaurant. We will definitely be coming back, and often! My brother ordered the chili verde wet burrito it was delicious. I ordered the flauta combo it was SO good I was Ohhhing and Mmmming every single bite! My mom ordered a tostada and a taco and she absolutely loved it! If you're ever in Sanger and you're hungry for some really good Mexican food go to this restaurant, trust me it's phenomenal! They also have breakfast and on Saturdays and Sundays the owner said they offer menudo with freshly made tortillas. Please check them out, you will not regret it!

The food is good and generous in amounts. The barbacoa Is tasty. The quesadilla is a good size. The Chile Verde burrito was good, just needed a little more chile verde sauce and a little less beans. The salsas have their kick and are not watered down. The service was friendly and professional. If I'm in the neighborhood, I will definitely return. Muchisimas gracias!!

I would like to give it 5 stars but I went in and there was teens working there. Handling money and then helping with the food not one of them went to wash their hands and their hair is not pulled back. The adults are trying to make the orders and the teens are right there serving themselves. There is just way to many hands in the prep area.

I’m not 1 to really give reviews but i went in just a few mins ago placed my order (which the young lady who took my order was very professional and polite) & was waiting for my order when then the server came up to me said “Ive been calling you, your order is ready” but it was said in the rudest way. (Not the same person who took my order but older late with colored eyes). She has served me before and has always been polite, but idk if due to a large party she felt overwhelmed but all i have too say is treat all with good service. i work in customer service and treat all the same although they are the rudest with me. I apologize I couldn’t hear my order being called, but it was noisy due to it being busy. This place is great overall!!!

Ordered menudo to go. Less waiting if you call in your order, that's what I'll do next time. The menudo was Ok, the homemade corn tortillas were a nice surprise.

The food is always tasty. But my last two visits have been extended due to delays in getting my food. It is unfortunate because the food really great but I cannot in good faith recommend this place with how long it takes to get my food. Maybe I'm just unlucky, who knows..... I will try again in a few months to see if there is any improvement in the service.

The food to me was good. Because of the very long wait, (maybe 40 mins), our food went cold. I gave it 2 stars because of the customer service and customer service to me is a huge factor in being a repeat customer. I've never been here, but my co-workers do come here and the owners are nice. For me, it was the lady in the front taking the orders. She was already rude on the phone when I called to order and then the line went "click" and when I called back, she didn't even acknowledge that the line cut off which made me think she hung up because she did say that the line didnt cut off and that they were "too busy". It doesn't matter how busy it gets, but put on that smile(even over the phone because Ican hear her tone) and be nice to your customer when you talk. Anyways, we had to go over to another Mexican place to grab all the condiments because she didn't bring them out and we also waited for it.

I would have gave it less if I could all the food is terrible like if the went to state foods and warmed it up, I know the owner he’s does that kind of stuff I’m surprised it’s still open👎🏼

Disgusting. Cilantro all over a bean and cheese burrito….and, I asked for NO CILANTRO. Not rocket science, folks, these are very simple instructions and basic expectations.
