Opinions de Park Café Broadway
Such a charming little neighborhood café. Nice food and even better service. The brothers that run it are soooo welcoming. There's places to sit and have a chat or get some work done, they have Wi-Fi and even restroom for customers! Restroom for customers in a cute cafe in NYC is amazing 👏. It's so close to Central Park so it's perfect for a quick bite. They have breakfast foods, sandwiches salad and burgers. They also have healthy smoothies, fresh made juices, and acai bowls!
if ur looking for your breakfast sandwich spot you found it! This place it’s a gem. Wanted to find a deli to get a classic sausage, egg & cheese, and this surpasses any place in the area. The owner works here, everyone is sweet and friendly
I loved the welcoming atmosphere and the quality of both food and beverages at Park Cafe. It has a unique home-made taste that is rare to find among similar businesses. Highly recommended !!
Bless Hakan and his men in his shop. Super 100% customer service. He even gifted us lots of stuff, everybody gotta slide through “Park Cafe”. Worth the visit Good food and juices. 5 star for sure
Really great food and even better service. Chicken noodle soup is delicious, tastes very homemade and rich, not anything like the canned stuff. The proprietor is very friendly. 10/10 experience.
Great food, amazing staff, affordable prices, warm energy. One of the best cafes in Upper West Side. Shout out to the owner — Hakan — he cares so much about his business and customers it’s refreshing to see attentiveness like this.
Great place and awesome host! He made an eggplant sandwich, with cheese, for us even though it was not on the menu. Will def come here often for breakfast
Great food and juices! The team working at Park Cafe were exstremely nice and interesting to talk to! They went out of their way to let me sit at the cafe and wait for my friend even after they closed up! Would highly recommend and will definetly be back!
Amazing coffee with brownie for great price. The staff here is super friendly and we’ll be happy to come back! 👌
Stopped here before a walk through Central Park. The owner was so kind and walked us through their options, and even gave us a free sample of a brownie. It was delicious! Coffee was pretty good too.
the owners of park cafe are so incredibly kind and welcoming! I had a smoothie (the “sweety”) which was delicious, and fresh drip coffee. A special neighborhood spot!
I took my daughter here and the owner was very pleasant and the cook was amazing. I definitely be bringing my daughter and beautiful wifey here next week.
Very nice typical place, nice owner and good food and smoothie, I will come back
Received very great service here. Owner of this place is so welcoming and friendly. Must try coffee and other food items. Wishing him all the best for his business.
Love this place! The owner here is so incredibly nice and really cares about his customers!! I got an egg and cheese sandwich and coffee and both were delicious. Got a sample of their brownie as well which was amazing! The wifi here is good and there’s some seating inside so would be a good place to get work done.
My experience at Park Cafe was lovely! The staff was very kind and hospitable, offering a wide variety of delicious homemade food. I ordered coffee, greek yogurt, and chicken noodle soup, and they all tasted excellent. The owner offered me a sample of the brownies he bakes, and it was the best brownie I’ve had at a cafe in the city. I will definitely be returning for more :)
We had an incredible experience here. Hakan was so hospitable. The baklava and chocolate brownie were to die for and the decaf espresso was rich and delicious. He even gave our daughter a couple pieces of deluxe chocolate on the house! We’ll definitely be back and make this place our local go-to!
Incredible hot chocolate and brownie. We ordered one brownie, tried it, and immediately ordered another. Excellent sandwiches and crispy fries, too. Owner was gracious and kind. We will definitely miss this place when we return home!
My girlfriend and I were walking to Central Park when we decided to grab some coffee. We found this place on Google with only a few reviews, but we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the veggie sandwich and lattes. The owners, two brothers, were very kind and recommended some vegetarian options. They even gave us a cookie to enjoy with our coffee and let us taste their Turkish Shakshuka. We give this place a 10/10 rating and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
Hakan and crew are the most lovely people. And even more importantly- the food here is INCREDIBLE. Some of the best Burek and lentil soup I have ever eaten. So much love and care is baked and cooked into these recipes. Park Cafe is absolutely NOT TO BE MISSED. Such a wonderful hidden gem
We had an amazing brunch at Park Cafe, the pancakes platter was large enough for two and delicious! The atmosphere is great, and the owners very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
Visit this gem on the upper West side, one block from the park! Hakan the owner is phenomenal - what a nice person and wow he shares the history of the taste. My partner and I enjoyed such excellent homemade authentic food. We will be back
Great food and coffee. Nice owners. Friend forgot his jacket and the owner chased after us for 2 blocks
This small gem is run by the nicest guy. You could definitely get some reading done here. But mostly I love grabbing a coffee and a little tray and going to central park. They are so kind in here and the coffee ans food are good.
Just tried out this cafe . The owner Hakan was very nice and we liked the home -made chocolate brownies and the coffee was up to my wife's high standards ! The prices are very reasonable and he has a wide variety of foods including soups and some Turkish fare like kofta.
Truly rare, exceptional, FRESH Turkish food. Get the cream with the spinach pie, it is out of this world!!!! And the beet juice is genuinely the freshest one on both sides of the park. Local beet juice spot secured and wow their crossaints are genuinely baked in house- unreal!!!
Small and cozy cafe where I spent a Sunday morning catching up with friends while enjoying delicious Turkish börek, baklava, and chocolate muffin. The Turkish tea was good as well and the owner went above and beyond, offering sample chai tea and Turkish lokum. Highly recommended!
Loved this place! Will definitely be taking my friends back here. The food was amazing and the service was too. The owner was very kind and gave us special items off the menu to try as well. Highly recommend :)
service was kind and speedy ! perfect distance from central park and the food portions are gracious! i recommended for both locals and those visiting the city 👍🏻
Super cute, sun-soaked place. The food is great quality (great sandwiches, homemade chocolate cake and Turkish food) and the owner is lovely and really cares about his customers. Also really affordable. Highly recommend :)
The owner is really friendly and I can tell he treats his customers as well as the food coming out of his kitchen with absolute sincerity. Food here tastes good and inexpensive. I had my very first PB&J here btw!
The owner is a very good kind guy welcoming you in person. The food and the smoothies was good for the prices. The ambience is not the best but for a to go cafe is an excellent and very fair choice.
Had a great breakfast here and the host could not have been lovely. He’s from Turkey and was very kind and welcoming to us. Food was also great and came out in a short amount of time.
Their coffee is super good, and the staff is the nicest! It always sets the day for a great start when I come here. They enlight the neighborhood!! I’m excited to try their pastries
Very warm and friendly and good coffee! This is a perfect example of what a local business can offer.
Fantastic people! We were in a bit of trouble in NYC and these guys helped so much! They made us food and took care of us and even gave us food to go after! Really lovely people and I think everyone near should 100% visit. Fantastic food as well!
Me and my lovely girlfriend stumbled upon this place by accident while on a walk in the city. We actually wanted to go to the breakfast place down the block but I didn’t check my location, and accidentally ended up ordering sandwiches and coffee from here before we even knew we were at the wrong spot, So now we had to eat there. However,, to my pleasant surprise, I found myself in a cute little shop boasting tasty sandwiches and a killer Baklava that you guys cannot miss. Don’t forget to add the whipped cream. Through all this, the main thing that shines about this place is the two awkward little owners that walk around making sure everything is absolutely okay. Their service, albeit a tad bit too attentive, is oddly warm as well. They’re just so cute and pudgy and genuinely care about their clients. And they seem like happy brothers. This is a cool place. It’s a shame we couldn’t sit outside in the little cute table because it was raining. Overall 8.5/10
Very sweet guys who run the shop, super friendly, polite & helpful. I passed by only to take a fresh carrot, orange & ginger juice & it was delicious
Incredible experience at this corner cafe. My wife and I are visiting NYC for the first time and were very impressed by the food and service at this restaurant. Their old location is on the corner of 108th and Central Park West and had great reviews. We walked there and were disappointed to see they were closed but the found their new location around the corner at 107th and Manhattan Ave. I ordered the Turkish Panini and she ordered a burger and fries. The food was really great. The panini was cheesy and flavorful with perfectly toasted bread. The owner of the restaurant was very pleasant to talk to and even gave us some Sujuk (Turkish sausage) to try while we waited. I strongly recommend this place and I hope they have great success at the new location!
I stopped in when things were calmer. The staff's dedication is exceptional. This smaller establishment offers spotless conditions and a nice environment with metropolitan influence. The dishes demonstrate good execution. This spot creates a pleasant setting.
Nice food and great service. There's places to sit and have a chat or get some work done. It's close to Central Park so it's perfect for a quick bite. They have breakfast foods, sandwiches salad and burgers. They also have healthy smoothies, fresh made juices and omelets.
Best host/owner I have met. Really tries to take care of you when you come in. Asking if you want or need things you needed before you knew it. Good solid food and generous portions. Good value as well.
Newly opened, the Park Cafe is a delightful new addition to our neighborhood. Terrific Turkish cafe, a sweet destination near the north end of Central Park. We plan return very often for Turkish specialty dishes, coffee, tea, juices and smoothies. Be sure to try the borek and Turkish coffee. The owners previously ran the beloved Park West Cafe on Central Park West.
Absolutely loved this place! It is a small cozy cafe with delicious food and outstanding service! The people here are very kind and very nice!!! Out of all the cafes in NYC that I've been during my vacation stay, this one gave me the most joy to be in because of the welcoming atmosphere and the feeling that the owners really put so much care in the food. Can't recommend it enough!!!
Come for the delicious food, but even better, come for the tender love of these owner brothers. Truly beautiful to witness!
A small and cozy place. The food was very nice and the waiters were very friendly and helpful! If you're looking for affordable breakfast but nothing fancy this is the place for you. I will definitely come back!
The coffee was okay. Food as well. But the owner was really nice to us and our kids. Thats why he still gets 5 Stars from me. :) greeting from Germany:)
The food is amazing every time I come here. I just had one of the best NYC egg sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The important part is that the fellas who run this place are the best. Every time I’ve come here, they’ve given me a biscotti or some other small treat while I wait in line. They are kind and they provide a certain hospitality you don’t see much in this city. Support this local business!
Always friendly service and superb brownies! We also had the grilled cheese this time and it was extra melty and cheesy. The kind server warmed up the brownies for us, too. :) Delicious!
Word for word this is what I told the owner, “In New York, I only eat at restaurants rated 4.7 stars and above. I was searching for a coffee shop to get some work done this morning and saw that your places was rated 5 stars. I first told my self that it must be a new place with 10 reviews. I was shocked that you have 129 5 star reviews. Today I’ll give you 5 star number 130.” The positives: My order was great! I started with the steak sandwich and Ginger juice. Bread was delightfully fresh and crispy. Juice was moderately gingery and fruity not too sweet. Exactly what I imagined it to be. After that meal I ordered a cappuccino to enjoy while I worked on my laptop. Throughout my 2 hour stay, the owner was extremely friendly, displayed warm hospitality, and offered me a free brownie before I left. The only negative: The space itself was quite small. Many people stopped by during my stay, but I believe that some ordered to go orders because there were only about 8 seats. That being said, if you love small atmospheres this is a plus.
Very friendly, fast service! We enjoyed the ginger and beach juices with a tasty danish. While we were waiting we were offered a free sample of some DELICIOUS baklava and we will definitely be back to eat our weight in sweets. Update: we came back and were again greeted so kindly for delicious sandwiches (Italian and the Turkish panini) and some more of the tasty pistachio baklava. This is our favorite spot on the way to Central Park.
Very good food and friendly staff, we recommend the egg and cheese sandwich
Really good café. Laid back atmosphere. The owner is very kind. The eggs were seasoned well on my sandwich.
This place is SO GOOD! Their iced coffee is amazing and the owners are very sweet. They opened the door for us and took our order very quickly. Would definitely come here often. :-)
Friendly owner, had a great time talking to him. Really loved the baklava and the tea too :D
The chai was so incredible, and the owners were the kindest. They were super friendly and the prices were the best i’ve seen in the city. If you want a good vibe and even better food and drink, this is your place. They were some of the most genuine people I have ever met!
Yesterday in the need for coffee I found Park Cafe. Not only was it the best Chai latte I’ve ever had but it was also the kindest service I’ve ever gotten. The owners of this establishment are two of the sweetest people you’ll meet. They’ll share stories and give you a great taste of New York. I cannot stress enough how much I loved my experience of visiting this coffee shop. They were eager to serve and had a true passion for the buisness. I could’ve stayed there four hours hearing all the stories of Park Cafe and sharing a coffee with these two friends. They curated community as soon as I walked into the shop. Thank you Park Cafe for brightening my day and creating such a welcoming atmosphere.
Great food, I got their burger and steak sandwich, it was delicious ! Amazing Baklava! The owners are so kind!!!
Lovely spot for breakfast. The owner is a lovely gentleman. Loved the bagel and other items on the menu. Even the coffee was great.
Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is welcoming, and their smoothies are so fresh and flavorful. I got the Sweety smoothie! You can really taste the quality in every sip. I came back almost 4 months later, and this time, I had the avocado toast. It was amazing! The bread was toasted perfectly and the avocado slices and egg were so fresh! I highly recommend you try it!
Me and my boyfriend love coming to this place! The owners are so nice and accommodating. Delicious food, great price. We get the smash burgers. Quite the hidden gem! I am slowly becoming a regular :) I love you Park Cafe!
Amadou welcomed us with a smile and served great food and the best chai latte in town!!! The avocado toast was the freshest we ate in the States. All the ingredients were tasteful and fresh! The ginger boost, the best we had in the world. I definitely recommend this place! 10 stars out of 10! Can I take this little cosy place back to Europe? ;) Thank you, Amadou!
Park Cake offers one of the best delicious açaí bowl with fresh fruits, crunchy granola, and a perfect balance of flavors. The service is friendly and efficient, with staff providing helpful recommendations and quick preparation. The café’s cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for a healthy treat. Moreover, owners are always kind, warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Got the turkey, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a roll, and a black coffee. The cheese was melty deliciousness. It did take a while to get the food, but the guy behind the counter is so nice. Let me try a piece of pistachio baklava and was giving Halloween candy out! He was so sweet to all the customers! 5 seats inside and is kind of like half a connivence store. Total $8.50 with a tip. Great price!
The best mom and pop Cafe I've been to in NYC. The owner cooks and serves you the food himself, he also lets you sample treats from his home country of Turkey. I had the Mediterranean Platter with Sujuk (Turkish sausage, highly recommend the add on)! He also let me sample the baklava which was soft, fresh and the pistachios were bright green, delish! Pricing is very affordable as well, the service itself makes it all so much better. Will be back to try the Turkish Panini, Thank you!
We had a wonderful time at Park Cafe, a local coffee place with a friendly owner and amazing baklava. The owner greeted us warmly and offered us a variety of drinks and pastries to choose from. We tried the matcha latte and the coffee, both of which were delicious and refreshing. The highlight of our visit was the baklava, a sweet and crunchy pastry made with layers of filo dough, nuts, and honey. It was the best baklava we ever had, and we couldn’t resist ordering another piece. We highly recommend Park Cafe to anyone looking for a cozy and satisfying coffee break.
Very nice place to grab coffee and some sandwitches to explore central park. Not crowded and very friendly, Hakan the owner gave us a smile and some fresh brewed turkish tea! If we would be residents, we would definitely come more often!
I’ll surely return for another cup and some quiet time.
A wifi-enabled cafe. I ordered a turkish panini with coffee. It was tasty, a little too salty for me but still satisfying. It’s small but well-lit. Owner and staff are friendly. He reheated my panini when it got cold and gave us free brownies.
Park Cafe gives you a taste of the city that many newer spots try to recreate but rarely nail. There’s something nostalgic about it the cozy booths, the clinking silverware, and the menu that hasn’t changed much in years (for all the right reasons). The food is hearty and satisfying, from classic omelets to well-stacked sandwiches. It’s the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name, and first-timers are treated like they’ve been coming for years. It’s not flashy but it’s real. And in a city that’s always changing, that kind of consistency is gold.
Prices are high and the food is decent. Whole cafe is kinda a mess
It’s alright. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable, but my pastry was slightly stale. The coffee was okay, and the staff was friendly. It might have just been an off day. I'll likely give it another shot for a full breakfast instead of baked goods.
Honestly the bagel was very sub - par, and no offense to airports but worse than an airport bagel. There are SIGNIFICANTLY better bagels nearby and wouldn’t go here if that’s what you’re craving. Yes, coffee was fine, the staff was super friendly and service was quick. But that doesn’t really make up for the stale, squishy bagel had.
I sat in this cafe for 20 mins waiting for a friend who was running late. I let both the manager and owner know this. They asked several times if I wanted a drink while I waited and I replied that I would rather wait on my friend so we could eat together. At the time it was only myself and the employees in the restaurant. The owner then proceeds to say that his customers usually buys things while they wait. I let him know again that my friend was 5 mins away. He then said I couldn’t wait. This approach was very passive aggressive and downright rude! Honestly this is not a hole in the wall spot that I will EVER visit again or recommend to others. Do better.
