Perfect place to get a slice right after seeing Hamilton. Delicious, fresh, hot pizza and super friendly service!
It’s everything I want when I’m in New York City looking for pizza. Small, friendly, quick service and delicious slice.
The pizza was excellent. We had several slices. Pepperoni, buffalo chicken, cheese and vegetable, all were great. I highly recommend this place.
Located just outside of our hotel Patzeria came highly recommended and did not let us down. The pizza tasted absolutely amazing and was fairly priced compared to lots of the higher priced food in the area. Staff was super friendly and food was ready to go in no time. Will definitely try again before leaving the city!
I highly recommend this place! Although I'm not too familiar with selecting pasta, the counter guy - who might be the owner - was super helpful in explaining the options and assisting me in making a choice. The pasta was incredibly delicious and one of the best I've ever had!
Pizza slices were huge and full of toppings. We ordered a margarita pizza slice and a classic pepperoni pizza slice. Both were delicious! They make sure the pizza is heated enough again in the oven so the crust is nice and crispy. Definitely worth the price even though it is on the higher side compared to other New York Pizza places.
Bro. This pizza was so good. If you need a quick slice this is the spot! The garlic knots were absolutely so good there was so much garlic flavor and it was so buttery and heavenly! 🤤😍😍. It was so garlicky I had to get gum afterwards lol. I also had the lasagna pizza and it was so filled with toppings. I thought I would need two slices because I eat a lot but I was mistaken one slice was so much food and I fully appreciate the amount of toppings on it🤩🤩🤩. Also it was so crispy and crunchy and not greasy at all😍. Also it was insanely cheap in this economy we had a group of 8 and everyone got drinks, a slice or two and 3 orders of garlic knots for under 100$.
We visited New York for the first time. We were only there for three days, but ate here twice. It was excellent. If you want to try an excellent New York style pizza while visiting New York, this is the place. We didn’t need to try any others. Very conveniently located close to Time Square. Just down the street. It’s perfect.
Great food, great server, everything is amazing the only downfall is there is nit place to sit but otherwise it has a great food recomend it a lot
Very small, but excellent pizza. Lots of locals stopping in. I’d go back when I’m in the area
Booked my hotel specifically for the proximity to Time Square and excellent food such as the pizza from Patzeria. Absolutely worth it. Even on a busy Saturday evening, they still managed to serve me within two minutes. Just go get a slice, if you want some real New-York style pizza, you won't be disappointed !
The pizza is absolutely delicious! Can wait to come back to NYC and eat here again!!
We were visiting from Detroit. Patzeria Pizza was very close to our hotel, so we stopped in after a long day of sightseeing for some NYC pizza by the slice. It was delicious, and the service was great. Very friendly! They had a good selection of pizza slices, and a good variety of drinks in the fridge. Out of all the pizza places we tried, Patzeria was the one we went to the most; not just because of the location, but because of the delicious NY style pies and the welcoming service.
This is strictly a carry out place. No atmosphere. Guys are hard working. Pizza was fast and very good.
No place to sit except outside but not a problem as I was staying at a hotel nearby. As a former NYC resident I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the slice I got - a plain slice augmented with broccoli and extra cheese. Also got the small house salad with extra cheese. The pizza crust was crispy and the sauce was tasty. The salad leaves were fresh , the cucumber cut up and peeled and the tomatoes cut up. The small salad was huge and the slice large too. A very good meal and I ate only half of the salad.
A must-visit if you're staying at the Paramount Hotel! It's just a few doors away, and we've been stopping by daily because the pizza is that good. We love it here!
Amazing pizza spot! We are from the UK and came to NY for 7 days, we ate here 4 times it was so good! The staff are friendly and it is very nice!
My favorite pizza in Times Square. The people who run it are very friendly and keep things moving so quickly. This time I had a slice of chicken and a slice of sausage. The last time I came I had the chicken roll-that was AMAZING! This is definitely the place to go for a quick slice before a show. They have a few covered tables outdoor too (probably seasonally-at least through Nov 2024).
If you are visiting NYC, please visit Patzeria. There are pizza places on every corner but most of them are chain places or run by people that are not Italian and just can't make New York style pizza but if you stopping this place you've got to try the sausage pepperoni it's without a doubt the best like the pizza I've ever eaten it's a very small place there's only one little counter stand at that's the only downside the people are very friendly they get you your order fast and the food is just out of this world. It's directly across from the Richard Rogers theater on 46th Street you could drive right by it and not see it it's a hidden gem I'm not kidding you this is the real deal.
We had the white, the spinach, the lasagna, and a slice of cheese. So far, the Lasagna Slice was my favorite slice in NY! My daughter said it was her favorite cheese as well. All were yummy.
It’s criminal that this place doesn’t have higher average reviews. It’s so much better than all the other tourist traps that have lines around the block. Crust is crispy and the flavor is on point. I honestly haven’t found pizza like this at other places.
It was amazing place to have pizza there like in New york, granted you have to stand to eat the slice but that is what it is. Plus the location is near broadway and time Square so it is easy to have something to eat before going somewhere else
Our favorite pizza place. It's a must on our list every visit and it never fails us. Get the white pizza! But any slice is a great slice. Every trip we go we say “I hope it’s as good as we remember!” And it always is!!! We always try to eat here at least twice per visit. Wish we could have this back home. We think of it often!!! It’s right near Times Square and Broadway. If you see the Scientology building you’re in the right spot. Place is a hole in the wall but they added some tables and chairs outside last time we were there.
It was my first day in New York and after almost 4-5 hours of exploring Manhattan, wanted to enjoy famous NY pizza. Went to Patzeria based on reviews and it really lived up to its fame. Being alone, I just ordered one slice each of Margarita & Grandma. Every bite of both the pizzas was a shout for word "delicious". The sausage was mixed to the bread in such a way that it felt as if it's marinated base with a hint of crunchiness. There was a small but nice place to sit outside where I relaxed a bit and rewarded my taste buds for a enthralling evening. Both slices & a beer cost me around $17 which was worth it. A big 👍.
Fast service right before the play across the street. You cannot beat the food for the price. Thank you for some real good pizza
GREAT PIZZA. Quick and cheap, eyes bigger than our stomachs, we order 3 slices each (5 pm, walking city, first meal of the day) and couldn't finish!! One slice should be sufficient, or two if you're starving. I'd personally recommend any of the pizza with ricotta on them, world class and very authentic. They have beer and wine, sides include: parm, chili's, ranch, oregano, and garlic. Limited space, so show up and eat quick or be ready to eat on the go!
First pizza we tried when arriving to NY. This pizza is amazing!! The crust is nice and crispy and not too thick or thin. We ordered from here 3 times during our stay in NYC. Not only is the pizza delicious the wings are too. Fast delivery to our hotel, arrived hot fresh out the oven. Delivery guy was very nice and polite!
Pizza here is amazing. Melting cheese on top but bottom is still nice and crispy. They gave very generous toppings. There are some seatings outside of the shop with shelter so it was warm enough in the cold days. I would recommend the traditional margarita pizza because the flavor is just so incredible. Totally recommend this place if you are around time square and looking for a quick bite to eat.
My favorite place to grab a *not-tiktok-viral* slice of pizza! I love the pepperoni slice, the lasagna pizza, and the white pizza with spinach. Grab a cheap soda can or bottled water while you’re here - they cost a bunch more in nearby shops. Lean against the ledge and eat in the small lobby if you dare, but to go is your best bet.
Prices are awesome and the food was ah-MAZING!! Highly recommend the garlic knots, they were so warm and fresh! Went there last week and the workers are so kind and sweet, and always hustlin! A must go place in NY
I've been here a few times, when busy and not, and every time the pizza is amazing. Not a lot of room inside to eat if busy, but that's not something that has negativity impacted my experience here. Great place to grab a slice or two before a show or if you are in the theatre district.
I stayed in the Paramont hotel right next-door to this Pizza joint while on my stay for work. I had a slice of their Bianca for dinner one of my first nights in town and meant to come back and try a different kind but I was so happy with the Bianca, I ordered it again. The staff was so friendly and it was a wonderful New York City pizza experience.
Now here is the spot! The pizza spot if you happen to be in the concrete jungle of times square theatre district. The staff were nice. That goes a long way in nyc and it normally is the norm. But for some reason it’s hard to find nice friendly staff in this part of town. The choices were way too many but thats good for you! I went with classic cheese nyc pizza slice. It was great! Cripsy and oily! The sauce is sweet which worked for my slice. There is very little room inside to even stand if it’s busy so take it to go and eat nearby.
Went there with my family as it was literally less than a minute away from our hotel, and i must say i was deeply surprised with the place. The staff was very receptive and kind with us. I also loved the food, it stunned me how much food they serve for the price they charge, one of the best cost-benefit places in the city, for sure. Hadn’t eaten pasta this seasoned in a very long time! Wish you guys all the best! 5/5!!!!
Quick service with a small bar for standing to eat. The staff was blunt but nice. Its very obvious that you're there for a short time. My pizza was hot! I only got one slice but kinda wish I explored more of the options. I ordered white pizza, they had cheese, pepperoni and some other meat options. Honestly, a great NYC style slice. Slice + a coke was $9. I think there is a cash discount as my friends was slightly cheaper.
We stopped in for dinner after a show and tried broccoli white pizza and pepperoni & jalapeño. Great pizza! The guys working there were so nice and spoke both Spanish and English. There are plenty of chairs out front to sit and eat so we got ours on paper plates instead of a box and ate there. We would definitely go back!
Great place to grab a quick delicious slice before or after a show. It’s right across the street from the Hamilton theater. It’s a very small shop with a lot of variety of toppings. No place to sit down inside, but there’s a small ledge to quickly eat on or eat on the go. Very convenient when you need to grab a quick bite.
My husband wanted a Calzone, and we had come here in 2022. It was all he could talk about. I asked if it was as good as he remembered, and the answer was YES. My daughter had a cheese calzone My husband a cheese, and sausage calzone, and we got 3 slices of pizza, vegetarian, ham, and pineapple and pepperoni and mushroom. Everything was awesome. The dough on the pizza was perfect 👌 Prices were good, and there was somewhere to sit.
Great NYC Pie, timely delivery, service with a smile! Loved it & went back for more a few days after!

What a great find a few doors down from our hotel! Delicious crispy thin crust pizza. I had a slice of the margarita and my friend had a slice of the Lasagna one. Yummy!
Delicious especially the margherita. Pretty fast. Reasonable price to quality to size ratio (about $7/slice).
Nice quick service before heading to the theater. Great food, made well. We were in and out in time for our play. We were very happy with our selections

The staff are very helpful and give good advice regarding what to order. The pizza is divine, I especially recommend trying the lasagna one! A great little spot, we loved this place!
Excellent margarita pizza. That says it all as I’m from Chicago. Ingredients are fresh, crust is perfect crisp on the edges. Fabulous flavors burst in the mouth.
I come here nearly every time I’m in town. The staff is great and the pizza is always hot & delicious. Prices are super reasonable too.

Happened upon Patzeria after a show for a quick bite. We had the margarita pizza. The crust was perfect! The restaurant staff were quick and courteous. Will definitely visit again.
I'm a pizza snob and I thought it was very good--got margarita and vegetarian slices. You order pizza and can sit outside at a few tables they have set up with heaters.

I expected this place to be overrated, but it was one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite, or a pizza to go.
Fantastic pizza. This place was packed, with a line out the door. But, totally worth the wait. The crust is the best anywhere.
This place sells fabulous pizza by the slice. Really reasonable prices bearing in mind it's just off Broadway. You can eat outside. No frills, just quality pizza. I personally loved the margarita …
I recently embarked on a pizza crawl with friends in Manhattan and this was our first stop. Patzeria is conveniently located in the heart of the Theater District (it's right across the street from Hamilton) and is a solid stop for a pre- or post-show slice. The restaurant itself is super small and can get crowded so it felt a bit rushed when placing and waiting for my order, but I suppose that's part of the quintessential "New York experience". I got a slice of the lasagna pizza (they do sell by slice), which has all the fixings you would expect from a lasagna - tomato, ricotta, and ground beef. I really liked how the sweetness from the ricotta countered the savory beef, which was a nice change from your regular plain cheese pizza. The only difficulty was the fact that the toppings were too heavy for the thin crust so it kind of fell apart as I was eating it. Out of all the pizza we tried on our crawl, Patzeria definitely had the crispiest, most golden crust. Overall a great pizza!
We were searching for a good pizza location in New York and we came across this spot. For the order we ordered Mozzarella Sticks with the slice of cheese pizza and the slice of margarita pizza. The service was great and we got our order over the counter. We got our order and we sat outside the pizza place to have our order. The food we ordered was amazing and we loved our food. The pizza and mozzarella sticks were delicious and we loved our food. It is a small place but they have delicious pizza.
People here are getting pizza. Although they have other things. For NY- it’s Eh pizza. There’s better to be found. This spot was good though and right by our hotel so we went 2 times. I am being picky- but if they had to work on something it’s being consistent. Sometimes crust is great. Sometimes to cooked and crunchy. Small spot. Options can include to go or just on a plate, drinks, garlic oregano or chili pepper shakers, and will cost you about 5$ a slice. Slices are pretty decent sized.
Restaurant Review: Patzeria Pizza, Times Square NYC Patzeria Pizza became my go-to spot during my week-long stay in Times Square—literally just a one-minute walk from my hotel, which made it incredibly convenient. I ended up stopping by five times in seven days! They offer a huge variety of pizza slices, and every time you order, they pop your slice into the oven to warm it up. While most of the time the result was delicious, a couple of slices came out slightly overcooked with a hard, dark crust. Still, the flavors kept me coming back. My favorites were the pepperoni, beef, sausage, and bacon slice—loaded with meat and great flavor. I also tried the sausage with peppers and onions, which was generously piled with sausage and made for a hearty bite. Their cheese pizza was another standout—simple, classic, and satisfying. My granddaughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo one night, and she raved about it, calling it the best she’s ever had. It came with a side of garlic bread that hit the spot. Prices were reasonable: a cheese slice ran about $4–$5, and my combo of a meat-heavy slice with a can of Coke was around $9–$10. They also offer a full Italian menu, which we only began to explore. Seating is limited, with a small indoor counter and a few tables outside under a covered sidewalk space. Unfortunately, the tables weren’t always the cleanest, and garbage sometimes piled up—definitely something they could improve. All that said, the fast service, solid food, and unbeatable location made this a reliable and tasty option. Not perfect, but definitely worth a visit if you're staying nearby.
I stopped by this small pizza spot near Times Square and honestly had a great surprise. I was a bit worried it might be a tourist trap because of the location, but the quality really exceeded my expectations. The pizza was good and very New York–style — exactly the kind of place I enjoy here. The atmosphere felt authentic, the service was fast, and the staff was friendly. There isn’t much space to sit, but that’s clearly not the point — it’s a grab-a-slice, eat-it-standing kind of spot. No restrooms and no place to linger, but if you’re looking for a quick, tasty slice with a true NYC vibe, this place does the job very well.
I was hungry and didn't want to go too far from my hotel so I ended up here, which I didn't mind since the reviews seemed pretty good. I just got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of mushroom pizza. They pop the slices in the oven for you so they are nice and hot. There wasn't really a line when I went so I was there for probably 10 minutes max, as I waited for my pizza to be heated. The pricing is very reasonable for the big slices and I was met with friendly service. There is no seating inside, as it is rather small but there was outside seating. I wouldn't specifically seek this place out but I'd definitely eat here again if it was I was nearby.
If you’re in Times Square this is some solid traditional New York Pizza. This crispy crust with a decent sauce, cheese and served piping hot. So much character in the little place. Walk up to the counter and order. No tables inside and a few outside. Been around for years and always great to stop by for a slice.
Quick friendly service. Standing room only. It was pretty loud because it was New Year's Eve. Pizza is yummy by the slice.

I had a slice of white pizza, and it was good but you could tell it was old. Under $5 for a slice is a great deal though. There isn't any seating, this is strictly to go.

We got to NYC and wanted a slice and we were not disappointed. wait was not bad and pizza was delicious. Yummm that crispy bottom is SO good! They have some seats on the sidewalk.
Okay this might be my own fault so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give 3 stars. I ordered the plain cheese slice and the spaghetti pasta slice. The crust on both were a bit hard, not as soft as I'd like. The cheese slice was great otherwise. The other slice was falling apart and the meat on it was really soft. Anyway when I got back to my hotel I started feeling nauseaus and then I threw up.
I know this is New York, but you are still a place that should provide decent service. The prices don’t match to what they ring you up for. Then when I ask I get attitude. You are in the middle of Times Square, expect questions and push back if they don’t like the price. Pizza is tasty especially fresh but prepare to wait.
I found this place walking near Time Square. It's a small spot so it 's to eat stand or take out. I like that they small bar to eat outside next to their window. My slice was ok no bad no big deal. I like the sauce and combination of flavor. It was $5 and $2 for the soda. Next time I will try more options to let you know how it was. See you in another review. I recently stayed at Hotel Edison, next door to this pizza place. On the plus side, their pizza is pretty good. If you stop here, order pizza and they have it available, I think you'll be happy. My experience is mixed. I ordered food here 3 times in the one week I spent in NY. First time was great. I ordered multiple slices of pepperoni pizza, white pizza, and knots. My family was happy with the food and while the price was double what I'd pay at home, I understood that the theater district was pricey. My only initial complaint is that their boxes are similar to 1-ply donut boxes, and not corrugated cardboard, which is the norm in Western states. I returned for a couple slices to-go a few days later. If you aren't ordering a full pizza or a large order, they don't provide a box. The $5.80 slice of white pizza slipped off their plate after my daughter was 5 feet from the shop and they didn't care. They didn't have more white pizza available and were not going to make more. If you have a daughter with food issues/preferences, you'll know that this was a vacation ruining emergency... Patzeria didn't care, wouldn't make more or do anything to help. I had to find another pizza place with white pizza. Ya.... they make good food, but they don't package it well and they don't care and won't take care of you if there's an issue. Not that it bothered me much and this is serious nitpicking... but every time I went here, I felt like I walked into an Italian kitchen and they didn't speak much English. It was as if I was a foreigner annoying them.
We ordered delivery. The pizza was decent, but not outstanding. I was hoping for something more authentic.
I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. The dough was dense and dry, and the toppings were low quality. For example, the mushrooms were clearly canned. These are things I’d expect from a $1 slice place - not from a place charging these prices. For what you pay, this is simply a no.
I have ordered from this place many times. Apparently, they changed their menu and it did not reflect as such on the app. I waited for OVER AN HOUR and when I called — he said he had called me 3 or 4 times with no response. Which is a lie. No missed calls, no voicemails. Nothing. Will NOT be ordering from them again.
Food and service both we're poor. Barely anywhere to sit outside. I suggest if you want pizza you go to Angelina's to have better pizza, a place to sit and use a bathroom and better service.
This place did not contact me regarding not having an item I ordered and just did not fill my order. I called to see why there was no delivery and they said said their kitchen was going to be closi…
Ordered for pick up about 10 minutes before heading to the place. When we got there, they claimed they had just gotten the order and it would be 25 minutes. Fine. Then 20 minutes later we asked them if the pizza wad already in the oven and they said yes. 5 minutes after that we saw them put our pie in the oven. Not only were we waiting for over 35 minutes, but they lied and said that our pizza was in the oven when they were clearly focusing on take out orders instead. They are liars.
Quite possibly the rudest workers I’ve ever met. Pizza is alright if you can get a word in to say what you’d like that is. Wouldn’t recommend to support them. If they don’t like u they’ll make it known through how crap the pizza is they’ll give to you.
