This place is definitely a 5. I like Starbucks, but there is no question that Philz is a better cup of coffee. Also more expensive - $4.50 for a large. The baked items are good. Good seating at this location. Always busy with Box people.

Holding a leaking hot coffee really ruin my day. And this happened many times when I ordering specifically at this store. Plz provide better training to baristas about how to make hot drinks. I’m fine with double layered cups or just not fill it too full.

admittedly not here for coffee (more about waiting on someone over @ nearby kaiser); only scored coconut water and a cup to drink it with, along w/ wifi for laptop; only suggestion is to offer napkins more noticeably; I know ppl abuse resource availability too liberally, but customer shouldn't have to sally into bathroom to get ppr towel to clean area to sit at.

Heard this spot was a Bay Area staple so I had to try it. I was expecting an iced latte but to my surprise their iced pour over coffee was very good. They even have an option to adjust sweetness level.

I like Philz, but I still haven't found a coffee there that I like. I'm a light roast kind of girl, so the decaf is a little heavy for me, and I still have 2 more of the light roasts to try. Unfortunately, the person across from me was a no show. :(

Love Philz, and the coffee is usually good but it's inconsistent based on who makes your drink. Sometimes it's spot on and at worst it's 'meh.' My faves are iced Philtered Soul, Cafe Rosé, and Ecstatic iced. The Istabul Treat tea is great, too. Very herby. However, watch out! My most recent visit, Large iced drinks were served in new plastic cups that are the SAME SIZE as the Medium hot cups. I've been going here since they opened south of SF (I believe the first non-SF spot is in Palo Alto)--did they think their long time loyal customers would not notice this unfortunate change?

The coffee is fantastic, staff is super friendly and helpful. Lost a star because the chairs aren’t super comfy, and I didn’t have a lot of Gluten free options, which maybe isn’t fair from a normal persons perspective, but this is my review ;)

Here has really high star but I am not sure it's about. Yes, good coffee, there are some different kinds. But Just it. Restroom should more clean. When I came here, there was not so many customers. Staff is good.

I stood in line and was ignored by all three people making coffee. Not even "I'll be with you in a bit. I've got a couple orders to finish first." Screw that. I don't mind the wait, I do mind the disregard for someone who wanted to help pay their salary. Not going back.

This location was busy. The coffee and tea were good, but the service is slow and confusing. Baristas supposedly provide personalized service, but really they just take several orders at once and brew or steep your order while you wait. The food is all prepared on-premises. The selection is small, but the egg and avocado toast was fresh. The prices were high and portions small. If you're looking for over-priced small portions with inefficient service, then this is a good choice. Otherwise, keep walking.

My drink was tasty exactly to my liking definitely met the Philz standard however the service was below average. The servers didn't seem to be in a good mood. And hope Philz has other ways to help uplift there workers. Overall quality drink to custom order.
