I’ve been here a few times and have enjoyed it every time. I ordered chicken lo mein with no onions and it was delicious. In the past I’ve ordered the vegetable lo mein which I think is the exact same thing only without the chicken. The serving sizes are huge, so I took half of this home in a to-go box. The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean and welcoming.
I love this place. Affordable, delicious and friendly staff. I always eat here when I am in the area.
We eat here for my daughters birthday every year. Had the Habachi Chicken. Good fun from the Chef and the food was excellent.
Great Hibachi/Sushi restaurant with good service and lots of seating options. You can sit at the hibachi grill, a regular table, a sushi bar, or a regular bar with large TV. Both the sushi and hibachi are tasty. Mackenzie the bar tender is very friendly and will take care of you!
Hibachi is amazing! Doesn’t matter if you eat in and get to enjoy it cooked right in front of you, or if you call in a order to be picked up. Food is always excellent, employees are very friendly and professional. Oh yeah don’t forget to try the sushi rolls!!!! Perfection!!!
I have come here a couple times while in town and have had great experiences both times! I was a bit skeptical about a hibachi restaurant in a small town in the middle of rural Illinois, but wow, I was very impressed! First of all, you have to try the flaming lobster roll. It is excellent! The lobster and spicy crab go great together, and the cream cheese and deep fried crust just make it so good. The hibachi was good and I felt that the prices for hibachi were really fair. The restaurant itself was clean and the servers were friendly and attentive. There is even a koi fish pond. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
The hibachi grill experience was exciting. Nice start with the fire, which is almost as hot as I am 🔥😂. There's also a funny part where he throws pieces of egg into people's mouth. I got the hibachi chicken with rice and veggies, and also two servings of the mushroom soup. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms, but the soup is actually very good. There was much flavor to the food and they have a sauce that is especially good, called yum yum sauce. The food portion that you get is a fairly large size. I was full afterwards, which is what I was hoping for. Definitely a unique restaurant in town.

Great food and service. We got some rolls as appetizers that were really good. The bento box was a fresh and nicely plated. My fillet mignon was a bit overcooked but I still liked it. Great experience overall
Welcoming from the start. The lighting is just the right amount of dim that you can see how clean it is. Not like others who are overly dimmed as if trying to hide the filth. The service was great and our waitress grabbed our dirties and got our refills as soon as she noticed. Great service. The chef put on an entertaining and crowd pleasing performance. . Hats off to the chef. The sauce.. YUM YUM! The milo soup was unique and full of flavors. The salad, always delish. The rice and chicken are the star of the show. With the veggies binding that rice and chicken. Food is fresh, hot, and delicious! Must try and repeat.
Ate lunch here for the first time, normally I've gone during dinner rush. The server was attentive and quick to get our food out. The food was delicious!
Came in during lunch time. Doors open at 11 a.m. . Was not disappointed with the place at all, it was immaculate. Friendly servers and the hibachi chef was funny and and a great cook. They offer hibachi, sushi bar and alcohol bar. I even played with the koi fish. Highly recommended.
Very good food! Steak and fried rice with their salad... Yummm... The soft crab with tempura was okay.
Lobster could have been a bit fresher. The steak , for a filet, was a little tough. Overall good food though. The staff is very nice and attentive.
Food was delicious!!! We got hibachi. Our hibachi cook didn't do much of a show, I'm guessing because there were just 2 of us, but others we saw did. Everyone was very nice. We enjoyed ourselves & had enough to bring some home too! Very delicious!!!
I ordered a lobster roll and hibachi salmon with noodles. The food was excellent, my food was ready at pick up and the lady who assisted me was friendly. I gave a 4 star rating as I prefer the location in effingham over this one. It seems the pickup times are faster and the food is better. This location is also great though!
First time ordering takeout. Restaurant itself was beautiful but the spicy salmon and volcano roll were mediocre if that. Rather flavorless and went right through me 😳
Good food but the chef didn't do the show and we saw other tables doing the show part
If you were expecting a real show by the grill master don't come here. Nothing special, only did the onion volcano. Also the food was too salty. Prices were reasonable and servings were plentiful. But just too salty for my taste and a friend that was with me.
