Henry's Bar-Grill

First time customer. Just moved into the neighborhood. Excellent service. Chicken Martini was very good. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back to watch sports on the big screen TV's.

Neighborhood staple with the best food in the village!

Henry's is a friendly, neighborhood tavern, with a menu that is way above tavern food. Frank, the owner and chef, creates new variations on classic items, and offers brilliant fish specials , very often!

5 star chef. Food is amazing.

Nice little place. Small high top tables (maybe 5 or 6) and decent sized bar. Full kitchen with a decent sized menu. Staff was very friendly. Prices were reasonable. Right on busy Palmer Ave.

A Bronxville staple. Great bar, outstanding food, just an all around elevated Bar dining experience. The owners takes huge pride in everything.

Best bar ive ever been to. They play all the classics, from duke dumont to gojira with a little slayer thrown in there for good measure. Great drinks with even better service.

Has the atmosphere of a local place - owner/chef will know you quickly and interact- with the food of a top chef. It can get packed and there’s no resos but grab a drink at the long bar

The food here is fine dining quality in a relaxed, casual friendly neighborhood setting. Frank has a spectacular menu that changes periodically with the season to keep it fresh. I have never had a bad meal here. I haven't even had a mediocre meal here. Everything on the menu is incredible. But you should also ask about what's not on the menu! IYKYK 😉

On a cold day in the gem called Bronxville, I found the most amazingly warm comforting tavern. I was greeting by the chef with delicious suggestions, as I warmed up (try the Chicken Martini wine, creamy and citrus sauce ). The bartender made me a special drink 🍸...since I wanted wine 🍷 w/o sulfate. Just ask for the Desireé if I you want St. Germain citrus refresher. I cannot wait to come back again. Love the vibe and team!

This place is a true little gem in Bronxville. Owner was personable and fantastic. I had the fried calamari and it was soooo tender and spot on flavor, touch of spiciness. My daughter asked for a white sauce instead of red, not knowing that can be a little touchy subject, he said no problem I can make it happen… well it’s not on the menu but dang it should be!!! Best drinks (not for the weak!) and dinner we have had in New York so far. This restaurant is truly delicious. Go Check it out 👌

Best food in Bronxville. We had the steak frites, a lobster roll and a seared blue fin tuna special. All of them were amazing and cooked to perfection. Best thing about this place is that it’s 5-star food in a low key pub atmosphere.

Shared a few small plates with a friend who lives nearby, and had eaten here a couple of times. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. I definitely will return to try the amazing looking burgers that kept passing by going to other diners. The service was impeccable, and the staff was friendly. Four stars is purely for the acoustics, as it was difficult to hear my friend sitting right next to me. And that’s without the sound of the TV’s on…..

Bartenders and servers are SUPERB. No matter who is behind the bar or at your table, service is utmost fantastic, courteous, quick and knowledgeable. Food is delish, owner makes sure of that! Check it out it's definitely a great dining experience.

The food here is excellent! Frank is very friendly, knowledgable, passionate and good with his hands! He will ensure you enjoy and can create dishes on the fly to accommodate dietary restrictions. Relaxed atmosphere and nice feel to the place. Definitely recommend!

Hands down, best food in Westchester. Great quality ingredients, amazing staff, fantastic atmosphere. Chef Francesco is supremely talented and treats patrons as if they were guests in his home. The bartenders are so nice and very cute. Don’t walk - RUN to Henry’s.

Biggest sleeper kitchen in town. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Formerly known as multiple dive bars different owners over many years. You now get homemade gourmet food from a Pugliese chef. Rice balls, pasta dishes, ribs, food all around. Good to get a drink and sandwich with fries. Go bananas with the steak for two. Just go.

Good burger and fried mushrooms. Good atmosphere and great bartender. Solid local pub experience and not too loud.

Great local spot for a drink and some sports. Can get a little loud and hard to hear. Kitchen does a nice job, especially for how small it is. Wings and cauliflower are my favs.

The atmosphere and service was great. A few of us had the black label burger and the meat tasted gamey. The side of sweat potatoes was exceptional. Overall nice local bar with surprisingly better food than what you would imagine.

Great food. Still has dive bar feel. Didn’t do much to update or brighten up the place. Also concerning when the head chef is sitting at the bar and the bartender/waiter gives him order as he’s chillin at the bar. Just not a good look in my opinion. Cooks first course comes back to sit at bar.

Staff is a bit nervous and management prickly. Beer is a bit overpriced. Not going to be my new hang out.

The place is called a BAR and Grill and yet he thinks that it is a high concept gastropub and rudely asked a group of paying customers to leave because he was unable to accommodate the party who was ordering drinks in an uncrowded place. The staff is miserable. The place smells and with so many other great options in Bronxville, don't spend your money on thispathetic excuse for a BAR and Grill.

My husband and I ordered delivery from this restaurant tonight. My husband took the lid off his to go container and immediately spotted a dead roach on top of his chicken Parmesan. Please do not eat here. They clearly do not keep a clean establishment.

I do not review places often. But after last evening I had to get this out. Let me just state for the record I have 20+ years in the restaurant business, I know both front and back of the house operations like the back of my hand. I have been to Heny's 5 times, first time with a couple that recommended the Smash Burgers, the first time was good, the food especially the burgers were great, and everything was running smoothly in Henry's, so why not go back, well it's all down from here! The second time I went alone to get take out, no issues but the wait for food I took notice was about 30 minutes from taking my order. Third Time Monday July 5th, I was told kitchen wasn't open that day, OK why? It's called Henry's Bar-Grill, "Eat Drink Visit" Correct me if i'm wrong it's tough to eat when you do not turn on THE GRILL for the day! Not to mention, I thought in NY you had to offer food when serving alcohol? The fourth Time I went was with my teenage son, we sat at the bar, and waited 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich. So, last evening I decided to give them one more chance, place was 80 full, walked in at 6:55pm, three people, we ordered drinks, one app, and three sandwiches, right away I noticed the bartender was the bartender, waiter, and sudo manager, only one person in the front of the house. While we are on staffing, only once in my 5 visits has the owner been there, once! And last night wasn't his night! after 45 minutes I had to beg for my sons Edamame, now it takes 5 minutes mx to cook, not sure what happened there? Than, 45 more minutes, no sandwiches, the bartender kept saying sorry, sorry, we are backed up! So, I asked, what's going on back there, OH those are Uber to-go orders, we do alot of to-go orders, why are you even taking to-go orders if you cannot handle and staff for actual walk in business? I will not support restaurants that do not attempt to do things right, this place is a full blown circus front and back of the house. My good friend knows the owner, I told him what happened, and he wasn't surprised! Good luck, but this ship has no Captain!!!!!

I was so excited about this place for delivery- but first time was 30 mins late, and now they just cancelled on me. Wouldn’t be a big deal if I wasn’t depending on it for my toddler dinner before bedtime. Hopefully they can fix issue so I can Change this rating since it’s my first ever neg review. To the owner- food is awesome so Please just get it together or cancel your delivery service- realize that canceling 5 mins before delivery arrival super f’d up for us! Thanks, and looking forward to hopefully deleting this review in future when you figure it out!

Had a family member in Lawrence hospital across the street ran in quick to have a double Jamison neat nothing else $32. They tried to rip you off.

I was there at a lunchtime. Food is nasty.

From the minute we walked in the staff was rude. They did not want us to sit and "block" their path. The bouncer or whoever he was said he couldn't accommodate us because we were a large group. The place was not crowded but the tables were reserved, so we couldn't sit at them. There were 6 of us.They moved us to the corner by the door , then said there was too many of us and tried to move us to the back by the kitchen. We ordered chicken wings while deciding what to eat. They tasted old. We paid our bill and took our large party to Fogertys..and had dinner and drinks and a great time. It was my birthday and my co worker’s from NYP had met up for dinner and drinks. We will never return to Henry's.
