We recently hosted a welcome drinks event for 80 guests at The Cactus Shop in Brooklyn to kick off our son's wedding weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful! We held the event on the covered patio, which provided the perfect atmosphere-stylish, cozy, and vibrant. The drinks were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, making our celebration feel truly special. Highly recommend The Cactus Shop for any event!

We happened to walk past Cactus Shop, and I’m so glad we did! We went in for brunch and loved every bite. The chilaquiles and tacos al pastor were incredible. We started with the guac and plantain chips so fresh . We had the pleasure of meeting Luis, who was so attentive, along with the rest of the amazing staff. The cocktails were delicious, and I also tried one of the Mocktails,you can truly taste the passion and love in every drink. Highly recommend this spot, beautifully decorating .Can’t wait to come back!

Loved the vibes. The tacos were delicious! Packed and not skimpy with the meat. Only complaint is the plantain chips were too salty, but everything else was great. Although our waiter messed up our order since we asked for regular not plantain chips, he was very friendly. I’ll be returning!

The Cactus Shop was an amazing place to host my birthday. I selected the patio to host around 34 people which was more than enough space and worked with Luis to organize the whole thing. From selecting the cocktails and the shared foods and personalizing the menu and any questions I had he was there to help. John was an amazing server with the guests and ensured everyone had a drink and felt comfortable throughout. I strongly suggest the El Ray margaritas and the Birria tacos. 10/10 recommend. Everyone mentioned they want to return to try more items on the menu and the rest of the cocktails!

This spot is an excellent spot for drinks, eats, and good company!! The food was absolutely delicious. We got the guac and plantain chips as well as the esquites. Small bites but absolutely delicious and well worth it. The two drinks we got were spicy, smoky, and flavorful. The ambiance was excellent and chill. We were able to spend a couple hours there without feeling rushed out. The service was impeccable. Overall, perfect Saturday evening.

I’ve been here twice and tried the tomatillo mule, besos calientes, and the Mexican coffee martini. The tomatillo mule was cool to try but not something I would order again. The besos calientes was tasty and something I would order again but not spicy. The Mexican coffee martini is a nice version of an espresso martini. The bar is pretty spacious so go with friends.

I had a great meal on their (covered) patio for margs and tacos! The margarita prices are typical for the area ($17). I enjoyed the birria tacos ($19); they came with 4 instead of the usual 3, and the consomme wasn't too salty like a lot of places do it.

Cactus Shop not only offered innovative and delicious cocktails, but some very flavorsome bites as well. Its dim and romantic lighting filled the entirety of the space, setting the overall mood and tone for the restaurant throughout. The waiters were attentive and kind, and both of the dishes we ordered were excellent. I’d definitely go back!
