Had the best Caribbean food of my life here! Wonderful veggie pattie and a filling meal that was so flavorful. The chef and server were very nice. Found out that the chef grew up in Jamaica and learned to cook in culinary school. Would like to return again.

Omfg….came here with my mom(we’re both West Indian) on a whim just searching for great Caribbean food. Needless to say this DID NOT disappoint! Ended up spending way more than intended because the food looked so good and smelled even better! Still ended up paying less than comparable options and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The beef Pattie’s were absolutely perfection! Then oxtail, bake and salt fish, plantains, literally everything we bought was A1! My mom loved it and she can literally cooo this at home and told me she’s ready to come back for more this weekend instead of cooking. As far as it is from my house and moms, will still be coming back for more! The service was impeccable and the server absolutely made us feel welcomed and not like we burdened her with questions(moms questions ofc)! Wish I could give ten stars honestly! It was quite the treat to enjoy my native food in a wholesome way again ❤️

Food is superb. No faults you can't go wrong it's consistent everyday. Breakfast lunch and dinner always delicious. Certain items are a tad bit on the expensive side but I guess the awesomeness of the food itself makes up for it. To servers smile a little bit more. You all are amazing.

Leaving with a full happy belly! Had the stewed tofu with rice & beans, it came with cabbage and plantains. They don’t have the tofu everyday, I think they said every other day. Ate at a little table outside. Will be back.

Got the jerk chicken plate, it came with rice and beans, fried plantains and a salad. Very tasty, chicken was moist and flavorful and the rest was similarly great. Good price too, will definitely be back

I love the akee and salt fish and porridge in the morning's. Curry chicken and the salmon for lunch. Food is always good. Oh and the Too Good Too Go plates at the end of the night are perfect for me when working the night shift..

Pros- Excellent food (with the exception of the burnt rice and peas) Ordered 3 plates which consisted of rasta pasta, oxtails, stew chicken, and fried chicken. All meat was flavorful and good sized servings. Cons- Server was on the phone the entire time holding it between her head and shoulder. She seemed annoyed when she had to pause her conversation to answer my questions. Server never used gloves and her long nailed fingers came in contact with the food while serving my 3 plates. Other Patrons who walked in while I was placing my order were never acknowledged, when one asked questions about whether they served a particular dish she answered rudely. Food was good (again, besides the burnt rice) but service was in the toilet. Hence, the 3 star review.

Ordered curry chicken but pretty sure I was given jerked. Was expecting a lot more flavor. No option to dine in. Was a little disappointed I rode my bike across the Brooklyn bridge in the sun for this .. will likely try elsewhere next time.

Came here to grab a quick meal but was told the oxtail cant be served in the small plate, but medium sized plate. No problem. The portion for what i was given was good. Not a lot but good enough. I was expecting the cost of $13-$17. NOPE. Cost me around $22!!! Like whooooooa! Daylight robbery or what? Lol

It was the medium rectangle plates, and I only got like 3 pieces of meat on each plate. I just wasn't expecting to pay that much, maybe like $45. I also wanted a lemonade, but I couldn't after they told me how much. I guess I wasn't drunk enough to not care about that. Other than that the food was good tho!

The food tasted good, the patty was good. The service was pretty slow and monotonous. The macaroni tasted bland, and a lot of the plantain was hard.

The cashier was very gracious and nice, however When I bit into their dumplings I was so mad. They tasted old and had to befrom the day before. Chewy crust, chewy dough. No flavor. It wasn't nice. But at least they didnt overcharge, and the server was friendly. Otherwise I'd deduct more stars. Maybe I'll come back to try food another day as this is the only spot near my job.

The food taste okay; however, the service is relatively poor. Worse, the restaurant has a deceptive approach. For example, on three separate occasions I purchased breakfast there. The breakfast that I ordered comprises saltfish and callaloo, yams, dumplings, and bananas. On all three occasions they never added the yams. Deceptive!

Asked for curry goat, got dry curry chicken…the flava didn’t hit the bone and the meat is tough. The patties were good!!

If I could give 0 I would. The fried dumpling was nothing but oil, still looking for the ackee in the ackee and saltfish and to top it off they gave me an expired drink. I ordered on uber eats.

Med oxtails cost $20 plus tax he counted out 4 oxtails that's whats allowed. Insane cashier was friendly but I won't visit again.

First time eating here and I was disappointed, the chicken and plantains was ok but the lo main Taste and smelled spoiled. I also had a spicy beef patty that was beyond burnt and inedible. I wouldn’t go back again.

I basically got 3 oxtails with the medium order, it was all fat! One spoon of slaw. Paid $22 for a bowl of rice! So disappointing.

I visited this restaurant and was disappointed by the very long wait before anyone greeted us, even though only a few customers were ahead. The staff seemed distracted and uninterested, often chatting on the phone instead of assisting customers. When our food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and lacked the flavor I expected for the price. The slow service and lack of attention made the whole experience feel frustrating rather than enjoyable. Overall, the wait time and poor behavior of the staff made this visit not worth returning for.
