Back in the early 2000s we would visit Carmine’s at least once a week. Haven’t been back to the old neighborhood in ages, so we made sure to visit our favorite Brooklyn pizza spot. Perfect crust and burn-your-mouth toppings hit the spot. Slices are always large! Grabbed a beer at the bar and took in the nostalgia.

Amazing service, ambient and food portions! The attendants were absolutely attentive and amazing, despite how busy the restaurant was!!! A shoutout to Alex and Junior that were superb! We didn’t have a booking but arriving at the door, one of the waiters told us we could eat at the bar. We were three, walked in and found a spot for us. We had the gigantic (1,5L) bottle of wine, the stuffed mushroom as starters (soooo good) and the chicken parmigiana with pasta as a main. Very generous portions and delicious food. Looking forward to be going there again.

Amazingly delicious. From the huge family style portions decor service everything is on point. Just make sure you go there hungry and you bring at least 4-6 people to help devour their delicious dishes.. Thank you Carmine's..

Wood fire pizza by the slice - need I say more? Loved the vibe of this place - wall to wall Yankees autographs, imported Italian sodas and snacks, and the pizza was very solid. Great sauce good crust - great place to grab a slice!

Best pizza place in Brooklyn! There are so many pizza spots around but none is better than Carmine's. I haven't had a slice that I didn't like and I tried pretty much all styles over the years. The thin crust pizza is absolutely fantastic here. The restaurant is divided into take out and dine in sections which is very well thought.

This is a classic NYC slice. Will meet all expectations. Perhaps a bit too much cheese but otherwise awesome. I found the grandma slice not too great. It was too soft. Almost like it was undercooked. The flavor of the sauce and garlic was awesome though.

The pizza is so good in this classic neighborhood joint. I would love it even more if there were some tables and booths to eat at on the take out pizza side.

Ordered 2 beers and an alcohol free beer for drinks. Ate tricolored pizza, Babe (mushroom pizza) and one with broccoli rabe/spicy Italian sausage. All good but Babe could have used a little salt.

Pleasant and helpful staff, but the pizza was disappointing for my first NYC attempt. Have better NY style pizza in my small hometown. This refired pizza tasted like microwaved chain pizza. Only decent stuff was the vodka pizzas and even that was nothing to return for to either of us. Even for wood fire, bottoms were a bit too burnt. Hope it was just an off day for them based on other reviews.

Food was delicious but the service was horrible unfortunately and the waiter was named Amado! He was annoyed and bothered the whole time he served our table ! Never got some of the drinks we ordered and I had to ask more then once to remove dirty plates from table and then he had the ordacity to shake his head cause I asked him to remove dirty plates . I get sometimes as a waiter you can get over whelmed or having a bad day but that doesn't mean to make it so uncomfortable that your customers feel uncomfortable to ask for anything. Guess maybe since gratuity is added automatically, servers don't care how their customers feel...

Quick, good, quality pizza in East Williamsburg. They have a pretty wide selection of slices, but you can also get a pie made to order. We’ve come here several times for a quick slice. This past time we got a pepperoni pie made to order. It took 15 minutes. The whole pie was under $20, which is a pretty good deal.

Came here for dinner. Surf and Turf was very disappointing. Overcooked steak very tough and chewy, shrimp smelled and tasted like rockaway beach. Everything was super oil saturated. Ill stick to their pizza. Their restaurant next door is not it.

Its so sad that such great place have a wonderful taste but give the customers burnt pizzas and wrong orders. I ordered a grandman pizza and they sent me a cheese pie. Then ordered a grandma and was burnt.

I called 72 times and was placed on hold for over 7 minutes. I continued to call back. Then when I finally got though, we were told it would be a 2 hour wait. I said that's fine. Then overheard the owner Carmine tell the girl who was about to take my order to "hang up the phone". I called back and the phone just kept ringing. Very unprofessional. I will never again order from this place. We were customers for decades but now it seems they do not appreciate their customers and do not deserve my money. Tbh the food is not even that good.
