We came here visiting from Florida in Novemeber. My fiancee and I LOVED this place. It was compeltely different from how the breakfast is cooked in florida. I didnt write the review because I forgot the name of the restraunt. So i had an idea to go search my bank statements and i found it!! So we definely are coming back In May & i cant wait! The enironment was cozy and the breakfasst was delicous !

Excellent food and service. The menu is aggressively unpretentious and every item is well-executed and substantial. I go here for lunch most days, and there are enough different choices that it never gets old. It doesn’t take long to become a regular and after your second or third visit you’ll be welcomed like an old friend.

Here at 8:45am on a Monday morning. Steady stream of people on their way to work, but not crowded. Great quick service, food, and coffee. Prices have been scratched out on the window menu outside. Minimum $7 to use credit card, Visa and Mastercard only. Cold drinks refrigerator in back with sodas, water, etc. A few booths, a few tables, and 4 counter seats. We had the egg and cheese bagel (yummy) and the avocado omelette with plain toasted bagel (also yummy). Coffee, too. $22 out the door.

The staff here is always super friendly! They make an incredible chopped cheese - definitely the best in downtown Brooklyn. Also, their Cuban is a go-to. Most importantly, they never seem to mess up and order.

This mom and pop shop was phenomenal! Highly recommend stopping in and getting something made fresh, but the hot case had some incredibly tasty looking food in it as well! We stayed and hang out in the morning and relaxed while eating breakfast! The owners were fantastic and attentive to any need or request. It’s right off the train station so it’s easy to come and go if need be!

Excellent old school diner atmosphere, Order at counter but they will bring to the table. The most normal and typical place to get a good old American breakfast or lunch in the whole neighborhood. Everything else in this area seems to cater to students, only unhealthy junk, fast food, unhealthy Chinese or deep fried places/ fried chicken places.. not much in the way of traditional American food or any sit down table service in the area at all for breakfast or lunch.

We liked it but felt like there was something weird about the atmosphere. Food was great but my son said nothing extraordinary. He wanted to give it 4v stars, I up voted it to 5 stars.

I was expecting a better bagel it self, it was very mediocre. $6.50 for a sausage, egg & cheese bagel, definitely could’ve been better! Don’t recommend if you’re looking for that “NYC Bagel”.

Friendly staff. Neither the avocado nor the everything bagel in my BLAT tasted fresh, and the ingredients weren't stacked as high as they are at some other places. I will try elsewhere next time.

Very disappointed with the quality of the bagels. The texture was like something you'd get from a midwest grocery store... and stale. Would not recommend this spot to anyone looking for a real New York bagel experience.

I use to go here a lot. But one day they sold me a stale bagel and I return it. And one the waitresses who seem to have been working there a long time with the hat and ponytail asked me rudely, "So what do you want?" And I told her that I would like a refund because if the bagel I received was not good, the rest aren't! From that experience I will not return.

DO NOT COME HERE! The Hispanic reception woman was incredibly rude and gave me a nasty attitude. Horrible customer service. Overpriced and charged me extra for my food which turned out to be the smallest chicken wrap I’ve ever seen. Dirty and smelly place.

Very unprofesional and the service was real bad. And the worse still have to come. Me and my bf went to eat breakfast, we both ordered the same thing. Two scramble eggs,bacon,home fries and a small cup of orange juice. But when we got the check $56.99. Can you believe that and on top of that the waiter told us that they didn't have change...UNBELIEVABLE!!!! So I told him, ok that's your tip for the bad service and he stood standing there waiting because my bf was looking at his wallet,and I asked him, "why you're still standing there??" And I answered my question. "If you're waiting for a tip,have a sit because we're not giving you anything more, you told us that you didn't have change,so I told you to keep the dollar and change. I will never patronized this resturant again...the waitress are not hospitable!....as I finished my breakfast this morning one of the waitress came over to me and stated I needed to move because she needed the booth...after I finished my food and got up...I turned to see the other waitress sitting at a booth not eating but talking to someone about men.. I asked why couldn’t she move?...I never got an answer

I heard the chef tell the hostess they need to make more maduros, which they didnt; instead of selling me one, they just put what they had in 2 containers and charged it as 2 orders. The photo is simply not $5 each of maduros. Pretended not to hear me when I told them I just want sides. The hostess called it a "veggie platter", which, frankly, is not a thing here.

Be careful they are nice but will cheat you if you do not pay attention never again the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes the cheese was very thin never again for this price I could of gotten a platter from pio bagal smh
