The service despite the crowd was friendly. The staff does not move as one unit. So the wait is long. The Shrimp doubles was the best part of what I ordered. The stewed chicken was not fresh or flavorful. The bake and shark was ok. The shake was not debone had good flavor. A huge slice of pineapple was on the sandwich. I didn't like it with that. Gave the rest to my friend.

Souse- super spicy, other flavors good once you got past the very spicy part. Roti- (goat roti) didn’t have much flavor, maybe 5 chick peas in the whole thing, potatoes, decent amount of meat. Roti skin didn’t have flavor. Will pass on this restaurant in the future.

EDIT: I gave much praise for your soup but what changed? Purchased a cowheel and corn soup and both were filled with potatoes! Why is the soups laden with white potatoes? No veggies? No dumplings? No other ground provisions? JUST POTATOES!!! C’mon peeps, get it together. Plus the soup was burnt. Very disappointed! Thank you for this amazing corn soup! This corn soup deserves it's own review! But honorable mention to the BOGO on Stewed Chicken and Jerk Chicken dinner via UberEats!

Definitely new ppl working there I been buying from them since it was Gloria’s and I get the same thing but this time i changed to fish… usually I get 2 pieces of pie since I don’t get rice. This lady gave me so much potato salad one piece of pie and this fish was digusting for my $20 I’m so upset. Time they give them a break

Ordered food via Uber Eats today. When my order arrived, it was missing the 3 patties I ordered which was a bummer because I ordered that for my child to eat. The oxtail meal only came with 3 pieces, it could have at least been 5 pieces there was room in the plate. Curry goat was decent but a little on the dry side, could have used more gravy. I hate to give this review but the least the restaurant could have done was contact me to tell me there were no patties, or replace the patties with extra sides.

I give up! The food is good/ ok. I’ve ordered take out several time but they don’t get my order correct. If you call there is zero accountability. If the uber eats program is wrong change it! I’m paying $25 and I didn’t get what I ordered and they don’t have any desire to correct the mistakes. Do better

Ordered my food through uber eats and that was probably my first and last mistake. I’ve lived in new york all my life and never been to a Caribbean restaurant that serves romaine lettuce and tomato on the side instead of cabbage… The jerk chicken was very dry and not well seasoned, the only part of the chicken that had the seasoning on it was the skin. The rice and peas were stale and also dry. They also forgot our side order of plantains on both plates. For $16 per (surprisingly small) plate this was disappointing. The only thing saving this review is the doubles with meat, which were actually very flavorful.

Ordered stew oxtail, white rice, potato salad and coleslaw. P.S and Coleslaw were OVERALLY yellow/green looked crazy. I wrote it off like they used mustard or something not that big of a deal. Well 5am I was vomitting like crazy. Ended up in the hospital as well as an allergic reaction I never had before. I’ll never eat here again. Uber refunded my order thank god. Whatever you do, don’t order in the evenings on a busy weekend because the food isn’t fresh.

1st I called for a half hour no answer so then I tried to uber eats it was turned off so finally I decided to just go to the restaurant. Went with a taste of bus up shot what I got was bus up trash! Food fell way off! The cashier had a non chalont attitude Iasked is uber on she goes yeah so I guess after calling for 30 minutedls they turned it on, so after waiting 15 minutes to order mind you the restaurant was EMPTY she finally took my order. I waited 15 more minutes to get some overcooked curry and instead of bus up shot I got torn up roti skin! She sat my food by the register and while in the back another customer told me that's your food just sitting there out in the open where anyone could've took it. Now I wish they did! $15 WASTED!

My son ordered from Gees before and the food was great!!! We ordered a large curry shrimp today an if that’s a damn large shrimp I dnt know what’s a small shrimp!!! No TASTE!!!! Very SlOOPY!!! Will never order from there again!!!! The baked macaroni coverup shrimps and that all the shrimp that was there!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!
