BEST PLACE ON EARTH! Best food. Fresh. Great portion size. Tasty! So glad they opened this loc in Brighton so I don’t have to commute all the way to Manhattan. It’s a 20 out of 10. Also decent customer service and place is immaculate. Just wish there’d be other healthier options stead of fries like baked potato. But is okay.

Great job in hiring Marieaster, we got the 2 for 1 deal and she was so accommodating! I am not eating meat at the moment and so I asked for the meat to be put to the side. After asking several questions to ensure she understood what I was asking for, Mariester not only asked follow up questions but boxed my order exactly how I wanted it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is great you can eat in or just simply do take out.

⭐ My Review (German Doner, Brighton Beach) Stopped by the German Doner spot in Brighton Beach during the daytime. It’s a small corner place, nothing fancy from the outside, but the food honestly surprised us in a good way. The döner itself was smooth, flavorful, and really delicious — one of the best I’ve had so far. I would love to see a bit more meat in it, but the quality and taste were truly impressive. Very uncommon for this area to get something this good. The only thing missing is ayran, which goes perfectly with döner. Hopefully they add it to the menu. Overall, I’m giving it a solid 9/10. We were really happy with the food, and I hope they keep the same quality. I’ll definitely come back.

I'm not sure why the cashier gave me attitude when I asked for more hot sauce. He pointed at the food and said there was already hot sauce on it. I then asked politely if I could have more, but he gave me ketchup instead. 🤦‍♂️

❌Completely unacceptable. Ordered chicken over rice and received overcooked, soggy rice and mostly fat and skin instead of chicken, with pieces that didn’t even look properly cooked. This should never have been served. Disgusting quality. Avoid.❌

I’ve ordered from Uber. One of the item was ; SIDE RICE IT CAME LIKE THIS, JUST LIKE IN THE PICTURE; they literally put two table spoons of rice. They charge $4.99 for this … I have no words …

This place has been open for some time now, but I have never been to it. Inspired by wonderful shawerma/doner, I just ate in Vienna, I decided to eat one here. Big mistake. The first red flag was right at the entrance. The door opens right into the space where a person placing an order would normally stay. Very strange placement. The next one was the doner itself. It was literally the worst doner in my life. I ordered the beef one, but it didn't taste as beef at all. I'm not even sure what kind of meat it was, or if it was actually a meat. Very strange consistency, taste, and texture. They advertise their 3 special sauces, but it was hard to taste the difference as they all were already I inside the doner ( presumably). The only positive thing was a team working that day. At the time I came, they were very busy, but handled the situation with grace. I hope this place will hire more people for the upcoming summer season, as it will get busier by day now, as the weather starts to warm up. I guess I'm not going to find out, as I am not planning to return under any circumstances.

And now I see the reason. Tried it once (Chicken wrap)- oversaulted, over-dried, not tasty at all. This place won’t stay in business much longer. Make yourself a deal and go to any Georgian Shaurma place or Tashkent on Coney Island but avoid this place at all cost. I did not finish it. 2 bites and trashed the rest

I loved Gdk but what the employees are doing is a disaster. I paid $100 for 5 kebabs with a tip and what I got was critical. The meat was not overcooked. There was very little meat and the service was critical. I do not recommend this to anyone. I will never come back here again. This is a shame. Please change the employees! This is SHAMEFUL!

There was very little meat and the service was critical. I do not recommend this to anyone. I will never come back here again. This is a shame. Please change the employees! This is SHAMEFUL!
