When you order two soups to go and the cashier is great but the server puts it to stay and catches a nasty attitude and slams food claiming why didn’t we say it was to go. Like first relax, you’re not going to catch a stroke for packing it to go and we didn’t say it was to stay. I understand if people are having a bad day but they need to mindful of how they react to small things. Ridiculous. Adding receipt photo you know exactly what you did.
It was awesome to see the level of detail and service that the members of this location showed during this visit. The staff still adhered to the protocols and it added to the safety of the moments as we awaited our food. So if you are in the Downtown Brooklyn Bridge area and you are looking for a fresh item then give the Adams Street location of Panera Bread à visit.

Manager was really nice. Both employees I interacted with were very pleasant. Food is what you’d expect out of a Panera.
The staff at Panera Bread Adams Street are outstandingly for their service and well organized place of work. I enjoy every visit and appreciate how polite as well as professional everyone is.
Shelly and T were amazing! They are what you call true customer service! So nice to me and made sure I had the right order! I’m definitely coming back to this spot!

I visited this place for the first time. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. The place was clean and not busy. I placed the order on the app. I had to wait 5 minutes, and my order was ready. I paid $11.59 for the sandwich, which was a bit expensive compared to the regular deli.

This location is poorly run. Catering takes over the upstairs seating without warning and coffee cups are scarce during the morning rush most days. Food in par with other locations however - do, there's that.

I’ve been going to this Panera location for years. I use to love going there. It was clean and felt warm. Now? The manager had an attitude as I asked a question about the soups as I was leaving. He acted like I was interrupting him and the manager women always mess up bagging the orders. The food doesn’t even taste the same anymore. I was not happy with my meal.
I’m not sure if it was because it was busy around the time I came into the store, but when I returned home, I noticed that they failed to give me the right sandwich. I ordered one Smoked barbecue chicken sandwich, one Frontega chicken sandwich, and one Turkey and cheddar sandwich. Instead I received one Smoked barbecue chicken sandwich, and two frontega chicken sandwiches. Under normal circumstance, I would’ve went back to the store and either got a refund or got them to fix my order. However, I purchased this at the Brooklyn location and I live in Manhattan, so traveling all the way back to Brooklyn would be a huge inconvenience.
What else Panera Bread can do best besides selling cookies with 50 grams of sugar? Well, how about 2 inch sandwiches? Yes you read that right. Two Inch Sandwiches. I mean who came up with this great idea? Why not 1 inch sandwich? Or maybe 1.5? First I thought this was a wrong order or a joke, but then I realized it is actually a real thing. I did not take a picture of a sandwich because I was very hungry but believe it is true. Staff is nice and respectful though. Basically it is overpriced version of Subway. Why pay more for less?

If I could separate the service from the management, I would. The young lady who helped us at the counter provided good service. I came in because this is a familiar spot, and I know that in order to use the facilities, a food purchase is required. I was planning on ordering soup anyway—I always enjoy the autumn squash—so I placed my order and asked about the restroom, which is kept locked. She explained I needed to complete my purchase first, which I did, and then I asked my daughter to go ahead and use the restroom. At that moment, the manager, Kenny, shouted across the restaurant: “If you don’t buy food, you can’t use the bathroom!” His tone was so loud and harsh that I thought he was yelling at my child. Naturally, I spoke up to explain that I had made a purchase. It turned out he was yelling at another person who hadn’t bought anything. Regardless, that kind of behavior from a manager is unprofessional and unnecessary. He could have addressed the situation quietly with his employee or approached the individual directly. A restaurant is an establishment, not a back alley, and guests deserve to feel comfortable. The soup, as always, was excellent.

I ordered a soup through their self-service kiosk. My order didn’t go through for 10 minutes, and while everyone else received their food, I was still standing there waiting. It seems like they have serious issues with their kiosk system. The employee preparing the soup was rude and talked as if it wasn’t his problem at all. When I asked for a manager, he said that he was the manager. The whole situation brought me to tears. I know this isn’t important in the grand scheme of things, but it completely ruined my day. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
We ordered tuna salad sandwich and found out it barely had any tuna inside. Unbelievable. Other Panera Bread location never had this problem. Avoid this place at all cost.
It’s amazing !!! The restaurant has two floors and only two people work there on Saturday morning !!! When a lot of people visit your fffffffff location and spend a lot of money everyday !!! U must hire more staff to make customers life much moro compostable, when they spent money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t visit this ffffffffff Panera more !!!!! It’s already 20 minutes I’m waiting for fffffffffff breakfast and posting this fffffffffff post !!!!! Do they have any kind manger ?!?!?! Is there anbd who control their job and activities ????
If I could give ZERO stars I would. I attended this location today. I was enthusiastic because I hadn't had Panera in a while. I was so enthused that I spent $100 on food for my family and I. My mother is elderly and disabled. This was meant to be a treat but instead it turned out to be unsavory. I was dismayed to find molded bread unwrapped and tossed into my bag. Not only is this unsanitary, this is unsatisfactory. I will not dine here again. Public service announcement. Buyer beware.
Mediocre food and terrible service. I ordered Ciabatta Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and only found out the sausage is missing when I got home. When I arrived to pick up the order, my order was not on the rapid pick-up shelf. When I asked the staff in English, her response was "oh, are you picking up a cup?". (Not great English comprehension). If Casella Bagel Coffee is open on Sunday, I would not come here...

How in the heck are you constantly out of BREAD at Panera BREAD ?!?!?! EDIT: I have contacted corporate because honestly I’m tired of being charged so much and them still having the nerve to do stuff like this. I suggest everyone else to do the same The first two photos are the sizes of bread I got with my order. The third photo is the basic size you’re supposed to get. I’m so sick of chain restaurants in the city charging so much and giving so little. It’s disgusting. It’s bad enough I’m paying over a dollar a slice of bread but the person basically cut them in half to make more pieces so I got charged $5 for four small pieces of bread. Shameful and I’m so sick of it
We love Panera Bread but this one is the absolute worst. We’ve done six delivery orders, and all six were wrong. When we order pickup, they’re often out of soups and salads. Today our first three choices were out of stock. They had no baguettes, and I asked them to substitute a multigrain flatbread (which had a bunch of) and the guy, who I think was a manager, refused and had an attitude about it. We’ve been to ten different Paneras, but will never come to this one again. If corporate reads these reviews, you have a serious management problem in Brooklyn.
This was my first time ever eating at Panera and the experience was not great at all. I ordered in store through the tablet kiosk they provide and the staff was too busy breaking down to offer basic customer service. No one greeted me or acknowledged me while I was waiting and it felt like guests were an afterthought. I arrived around 5:52 pm and my pickup window said 6:12 pm. I did not get my food until 6:14 pm which I was fine with since it was only a short delay. The real issue was the attitude and lack of communication. The shift supervisor, Kevin, had a bad attitude that rubbed off on the other employees. When I asked about my order, he acted like I was interrupting him instead of simply helping me. When I finally got my bag, I saw they were out of apples. Instead of letting me know or asking if I wanted something else, they just put chips in my bag without saying anything. For a first time guest, communication matters because it shows you respect people who choose to spend their money here. I wanted to like Panera because so many people recommend it, but this visit left me feeling ignored and brushed off. I hope management pays attention to how the closing process affects guests because customer service should not stop just because the team is ready to go home. I will think twice before returning.
Granted, They were having a BAD day, approx. 3 pm on 01/07/26, but I was amongst many guests that had purchased & paid for orders through the kiosk that had to wait an hour for thier food. (My order was a simple soup, sandwich & a tea) I went to the kiosk because there was a long line to order at the cashier. The one Shinning Star throughout this whole Fiasco was ISSAC, the poor guy had apparently just come on shift in the midst of this nonsense, & stepped up to the task at hand. He took charge of coordinating the staff to hunker down & clear the backlog of orders in a calm & respectful manner. In my humble opinion he was the MVP of that shift, and I hope he is recognized by the owners/management of this establishment as such. There are a lot of other restaurants in this strip, if I hadn't prepaid for my order & probably would had to have gone through a lengthy process for a refund, I certainly would have turned around and walked out and spent my hard earned cash elsewhere. Please Do Better Panera.
EXTREMELY RUDE AND CANCELLED MY ORDER UNPROMPTED. I waited over AN HOUR for delivery. When I called, they LIED and said I scheduled my order after closing so they wont fufill it EVN THOUGH I HAD PROOF AND THE STATUS WAS UPDATED TO PREPARING AN HOUR AGO. RUDE lazy miserable workers hung up twice and cancelled it because they didn't feel like working

I paid for an order at this Panera Bread location, and my name appeared on the screen as “ready,” but the food was never delivered. When I asked about my order, the staff member responded by yelling in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, which made the situation very uncomfortable, especially since I was with my children. No solution was offered, and I had to leave without the products I had already paid for. Very disappointing customer service.
