Opinions de Jersey Mike's Subs Brooklyn
The Big Kahuna Cheese Steak sandwich from here is so good. It's much better than your average NYC deli cheesesteak.
Great subs and great customer service. First time at this location. My only concern is the lack of space in the store. Could’ve definitely used all 8 months of opening the store to make some more room.
I would 100% prefer Jersey Mike's Sandwiches over Subway's Sandwiches. I got their #9 Club Supreme Sub. It was crispy and had excellent flavor from the Bacon and Roast Beef. They also had an exclusive Root Beer Soda called Stubborn's, it was a excellent Root Beer. Their Miss Vickie's Jalapeño Kettle Potato Chips are great too.
My first time at this location and I was really impressed! Kimberly and the staff were so friendly, fast, and helpful. They made my sub exactly how I like it and even gave me a great recommendation. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back
So, I have been craving a really good hero sandwich, like how they tasted in my youth, and I couldn’t seem to capture that, until today! My cousin decided to tease me and sent a pic of her hero she had gotten from Jersey Mike’s in NC… Long story short, I noticed a location on Livingston Street in downtown Brooklyn, NY and decided to take a chance….I got the number 11 with the topping’s of my choice and to say I devoured that sandwich, would be an understatement… Also, customer service was on point, as the guy who made the sandwich (Jairo) was pleasant, and made me feel welcome! As I have another appointment down there tomorrow, guess what’s for lunch 🤣🤣🤣
I had an absolutely amazing experience today. It was very busy, but the manager Diamond was able to help me out and speed up my process. The person at the cash register was very helpful as well. This was a speeding amazing experience I can't wait to come and check it out again
I go to this location once a week. Is it crowded? Yes, particularly during lunch. Does it take time to get your order? Yes because everything is made to order and nothing is prepared in advance. As a person with dietary restrictions, I am ok waiting for something that I can order exactly the way I want it. Also, every single person who works there is super polite and professional despite all the orders they have coming through. I want to highlight one of the managers there names Diamond, as she has gone above and beyond not just for me, but I have observed her go out of her way for other customers as well. I’m a fan of Jersey Mikes, but this location is hands down one of my favorites.
Love this place!! I order a sub at least once a week for lunch. Mike's way for toppings is delicious, and all the ingredients are great quality. Service is fast and efficient despite how busy they are, and everyone who works here is so nice.
This is more of a theatrical set than a working restaurant. It appears as if it is open but is never actually open. Update: it’s open! It’s good and everyone who works here is nice. It’s wayyyy too small for the demand so be patient and expect to wait. They could have opened a spot 5 times the size and they would still be busy. No place to eat and no bathroom
I am a loyal customer of Jersey Mike's. Their food is fresh, the locations are clean, and the service is excellent! I was a little nervous when I found out that JM'S was opening in NYC. I feared that the service would take a dive and the quality of the food might suffer. After hearing from a colleague about her experience at the new Jersey Mike's near my office, she mentioned that the store is too small, some customers are a bit on edge, and regrettably, the first visit, the server was not pleasant, but her second visit was a little better. With that said, I decided to step out on faith and give it a try. This was my first visit to Jersey Mike's in NYC, specifically the Livingston Street location in Brooklyn. To my delight, the cafe was not too crowded, and the customers were equally cordial and pleasant. I was serviced by Todd. She was very helpful, patient, friendly, and attentive to my order focused on providing service, and she do beautifully! My next server was Diamond. Equally attentive and pleasant and Double-Checked with Todd on a question about my order to make sure that everything flowed and invited me to return. Last but certainly not least, I was checked out by Christian. A cool and calming teammate that delivered quality control to my order, with immediate professionalism, warmth, and kindness. Thank you all for one of the most pleasant experiences ❤️ I look forward to my next visit and will look for you. Take care. PS - I also hope that the corporate office will work on tweaking the operating flow of your cafe. It is too small for such a heavy population of customers, and I believe that such tight quarters place unpleasant hardships on your environmental quality and well-being. Not to mention ongoing complaints from customers who are inconvenienced by the cramped quarters.
This place has some of the best food and subs. The staff is incredible manager Thai and CJ and Chris. It’s impeccably clean and I genuinely enjoy the food better because of the people that work here you have to get the super sub 10 out of 10.
great customer service / great friendly staff best Jersey Mike's everything is fresh too
Great steak and cheese sandwich, one of the best around. This location is only for pick up/take-out, as there is no seating for eating in the restaurant.
Tried the #2 “Jersey Shore’s Favorite” today—provolone, ham, and cappacuolo on fresh bread. Tasted great and was packed with flavor. The sandwich was well-made and filling, and the service was quick and friendly. With a drink, it came to $16.48—not cheap, but worth it for the quality. If you’re in Downtown Brooklyn and craving a good sub, Jersey Mike’s is a solid pick.
The place is a hole in the wall. The staff does their best to push the orders out. I ordered at 12:22, peak lunch rush. If anyone misses Blimpies, this is the closest thing to it. #2 sandwich is good and on sale as a meal.
Very slow! They really need to work on how quickly they get these subs out. The times if you order on the app for pickup are never accurate. You need to buffer at least 10-15 minutes if you go to pick up otherwise you will just be waiting there.
*Update: Its finally open as of December! I live above it and have never seen a soul in there / it hasn’t changed since May or June, including the meat in the counter window, trash bags on the floor, and a UPS “we missed you” notice on the door. It looks fully set up but it’s all gone untouched for months, like the people just vanished into thin air in the middle of setting up for the grand opening. Very bizarre. Was looking forward to it being an easy place to grab food but nope… not anytime soon anyway.
I hadn't been to Jersey Mike's before and went to this location. It was my 1st and only time up till this point. It seemed like the short man with the glasses had reffered to me as "loco" to the woman who prepared the sandwich for no reason. Still, the sandwich was good. It was pricey though.
My first time the sandwich and customer service was great. Today i went in an order a chicken bacon sandwich the lady who took the order had a attitude and the man in the grill didn't make my order and than going to ask me if I want to cancel it I said no I order it at 320 it 340 he like on I have to get these other orders out first, he made my sandwich wrong 😤 it's didn't tasted good as the first time i try it. Didn't even finish the sandwich and I had to clock in at work couldn't even go back. The cookies are good. Ever going to order when they are behind the counter.
Great employees. The delivery Uber guys need a system and it isn't in place here. They will post up with no regard until they pick up. Management should have a system in place. 11/16/15 3pm shift. Young female employee needs training. You can barely make out what she is saying. Took off a star.
I ordered my food at 4:08. The app said it would be ready at 4:22 and it’s 425. I walk in the store everybody’s talking. They have no customers and my sandwich is not ready. It’s too many stuff in there for one sandwich not to be ready. They spend more talking than working. That’s almost every time I go in into order.
This place is a mess. No room inside, chaotic and a pretty stressful place to try and order compared to the other 30 Jersey mikes I’ve been to. The sandwich was so haphazardly cobbled together I felt like I was a subway during an earthquake.
Didn’t want to post a negative review since I love me a nice stacked Italian sandwich… But I have to say, I’ve come here frequently (since I started physical therapy across the street at NY Presbyterian) - - and TWICE now I’ve suffered pretty severe bubble guts after eating here. The place looks clean and I often see the staff cleaning the work areas and switching gloves so it’s difficult for me to pinpoint the issue. I always get the same Italian sandwich and it’s been hit-or-miss (like I said, severe stomach-churning/bowel-clearing reaction twice now). One time I noticed the gentleman wiping down the countertops and meat slicer with what looked like a pretty rancid wash cloth *it didn’t look like a clean cloth despite him also using what looked like a disinfectant spray (so I can only imagine the bacteria that was being sloshed around there). The other thought I had was, the Italian is comprised of five different meats. While these meats are kept in a cooled fridge-like environment, the meat slicing machine is sitting out all day at room temperature and has all the remnants of the previously sliced meats & cheeses (perhaps this is where the bacteria thrives!?). I don’t quite know what it is—but both times I suffered the food-borne reaction it took my stomach a few days to completely recover (and this is not something I experience anywhere else). As much as I love the Italian sandwich, not sure I can come back to this location.
This location is fine, standard sandwiches for Jersey Mike’s, but this is probably the slowest location I’ve visited. For pick up orders, ensure you place your order around 45 minutes before you expect to pick it up.
To be honest, the man that was doing my sandwich all he kept doing was talking to the other employee man. They were talking so loud it ruined the atmosphere and he was talking while doing my sandwich that’s so rude because you know you could spit by accident or you might spit in my freaking sandwich. All I know is that the talking was so loud and ridiculous. It was unprofessional and sad because this Jersey Mike’s is the closest location next to me, but I don’t think I’m coming back. I do enjoy the sandwiches in Jersey Mike’s, but this location needs to learn That when you’re doing the customer sandwich not to talk wait to the customers leave and then talk. It’s not professional talking so loud and while making a sandwich.
Customer service isn’t great at all. Only one staff member out of 6 people seemed to be working. Everyone huddled up laughing and socializing off by the side. One gentle men started my sandwich and pushed it down to be completed by the next staff member who walked away. The guy who originally started the sandwich asked 3 different people to complete the sandwich(add condiments, wrap it up and charge me) every person he asked said no, while giggling and continuing their personal conversations. After hearing and watching 3 people tell him no while he’s starting another sandwich for another customer I just walked out. Unbelievable!!!!!!
A coworker of mine hyped the place up and got me excited. Went there today but i didn’t even get the chance to eat their chicken Philly. All three sandwiches I ordered were not what i asked for which is a bummer and to top it all off one of my coworkers can’t eat beef and was served a nice giant Philly cheese steak.
We ordered from the Jersey Mike's mobile app. When our order arrived, it was completely reversed: right sandwiches, wrong sizes, extras, etc. When we called, the person who took the call tried to blame the delivery service and hung up. We have informed Jersey Mike's we won't be returning after months of this being our Friday night staple.
Placed order on DoorDash for a regular turkey sub and chips and drink at this location. I didn’t receive the chips and the soda and was still charged for it! The delivery man said that he just picked up the bag that this Jersey Mikes location packaged. The workers at this location need to do better with placing all items in the bag before sealing the bag for delivery!
The girl had such a nasty attitude I ordered a sandwich and my daughter wanted one so I ordered a second one she told me next time order it all at once imagine a girl doing her job and telling me the customer what to do and how to do it ? Whoever is the manager should hold a class for the children they have hired and explain courtesy and respect that should be extended to paying customers terrible customer service at this location I like the sandwich but I can live without it a job is a job people should do their job with a smile if not a smile at least keep their attitude to themselves I gave 1 star because they insist that you grade by stars because of the rude girl I would like to give 0 stars because that's what I believe is appropriate if I am having a bad day and I don't like my job that's my problem I am never disrespectful to anyone in the course of my duties
This is the worse running jersey mikes I’ve ever been to— there’s no line but yet they can’t function. If they can’t handle delivery orders and in person orders then they should be delivery only or hire more people to handle the volume. They have no tables for anyone to actually eat so clearly prioritize non customer facing orders. It’s quite ridiculous to be at a quick service food joint and waiting 30 minutes for your food. I worked in food service at a sit down and if food wasn’t served within 15 minutes from time of order until serving food then food is comped. Instead I’ll choose to walk twice as far to go to another Jersey mikes at my lunch hour as opposed to waiting on the incompetent service. NYC are known to be hustlers— fast paced which they are not but they sure do hold up to the stereotype of being rude
Ordered online and went there when the food was estimated to be ready. Stood right in front of the pickup area for 30 minutes. Not a single employee checked in on me despite no other customers in the store for a good stretch of time. Food took 30 minutes longer than estimated. I order lunch online to not have to wait because I have a strict lunch break. Unacceptable
I just walked in the guy named Juan is very disgustingly rude and nasty! Didn’t even greet us and right away says what can I get you? As he was making someone else’s order I told him I will let him know as soon as he was the other customer first he said I’m not finishing her order someone else is I then asked him to remove his gloves because I don’t eat pork and he was touching all sorts of pigs meat with the same gloves he was going to touch my bread with he then says “Yo take her order” like really? Just because I asked you to remove your dirty gloves? There’s so much cross contamination in this store and it’s dirty! Also I’ve been to so many other Jersey Mikes locations not one of them were cheap on the protein like this place! The sandwich is not cheap for you to be cheap with the proteins!
