Opinions de Jet's Pizza Brooklyn
I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered the mini omakase - 5 pieces sushi 1 handroll - and I was blown away by what a deal this was. I expected it to be 5 quality pieces of nigiri but they were fully dressed with amazing flavors in true omakase style. The handroll was also perfectly seasoned. This was such a great deal for $35. I will be back to try a full omakase.
We’ve had several omakase experiences across Manhattan and Brooklyn, and Sushi Lin served us a top-tier 10-piece set for just $60 each. We loved every bite, and couldn’t believe the value! The chefs and service were great from start to finish, and the vibe was great for a date. Special shout-out to the “triple-decker” sushi: seared fatty tuna, uni, and Russian caviar. It’s a show-stopper. Since we live close-by, we’ll definitely make this a regular spot!
Had the tuna flight and the 12 piece omekase. Great experience! We sat at the counter and had a great time. The staff was attentive and the service was on point. If you check in via Yelp, they offer free sake ( 1 per table or one per guest if sitting in the counter.) Yum! Great place in the neighborhood. Would recommend it.
This is one of my favorite sushi spots in the city! So fresh and delicious! I’ll keep coming back here! Service is great!
The best sushi in Brooklyn. Superior quality fish, phenomenal chefs and impeccable presentation. They know what they’re doing here.
Came here for the full omakase only available if you’re seated at the sushi bar which was $100. Had to get reservations in advance especially since the sushi bar only seated around ~9 people. Thankfully for a party of 1 I was able to get an advance reservation for the next day. Many people without reservations were turned away or asked to wait a long time. The omakase set was fantastic with many of the signature appetizers from the kitchen and a lovely selection of sushi from the chefs in front. I was looking for a couple of additional bites and the chef was able to give some good suggestions although not everything on the menu is available unfortunately. The dessert was a really nice creamy pudding a very memorable with a nice honey on top with a creamy panna cotta underneath with some sesame seed for some asian flare.
Hands down best sushi spot in Brooklyn, certainly tops in all of NYC. Affordable, excellent quality, superior knife skills. Great mix of traditional pieces and some inventive stuff. Had sushi and sashimi omakase at the bar. Chefs were engaging and funny. Only thing I would ask for was more oily fish! Also agedashi tofu was perfect. Excellent place worth a visit from anywhere in NYC.
Had a great time last night. We did the $65 omakase and added a bunch of apps and desserts. Fish was fresh and presentation beautiful. Dessert mochi was fantastic. Only thing I wish they had was (a) more craft beer and (b) more deep fried foods for vegetarians, such as vegetable spring rolls or gyozas.
First time at Sushi Lin & I’m disappointed in myself for finding out about this establishment sooner. I had an outstanding dinner with friends here last week, while enjoying the sushi & sashimi omakase. Every bite was excellent, while some were extraordinary! (The toro & truffle was outstanding) While I can’t remember each bite to specifically praise them, I thoroughly enjoyed them all. Also the staff was very accommodating after several of us didn’t eat an uni centric bite and they happily replaced it with a different piece, which was extremely kind of them. I have tried multiple omakase’s for under $100 & this was clearly the best. I can’t wait to dine at Sushi Lin again!
Chose this place to celebrate my birthday and it didn't dissapoint!!! Excellent atmosphere, EXCELLENT FOOD, excellent service. Highly recommended? The Maguro Avocado and the Tako Sunomono. Their rolls with salmon and tuna where to die for! Everything was so fresh and very tasty. The Whiskey Cake was exquisite (with birthday candle included!). I loved the place. I will definitively come back!
A Heavenly Omakase Experience at Sushi Lin I had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Lin recently, and it is an understatement to say that I was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was serene, with tasteful lighting and décor, and the staff were attentive and friendly. However, it was the exceptional omakase experience that truly stole the show. Omakase, a Japanese dining experience that translates to "I'll leave it up to you," is where the chef creates a personalized multi-course meal showcasing their skill, creativity, and the freshest ingredients available. At Sushi Lin, they have perfected this art form, bringing forth a delightful symphony of flavors, textures, and visual appeal. The fish served during my omakase experience at Sushi Lin was nothing short of extraordinary. Each piece was selected with care and precision, sourced from the renowned Tsukiji Market in Japan and other top seafood markets around the world. The attention to detail was evident in each bite, as the freshness and flavors of the fish shone through with delicate balance and harmony. The Lins, who have honed their craft at some of the finest omakase establishments in New York, including Blue Ribbon, Gaijin, and 15 East, have managed to create their own unique signature at Sushi Lin. Their expertise and passion are evident in every dish they present, with each course surpassing the previous one in terms of taste, presentation, and creativity. What I particularly enjoyed about Sushi Lin's omakase experience was the emphasis on the natural flavors and textures of the fish. Rather than overwhelming the senses with heavy sauces or extravagant garnishes, the Lins allowed the fish to take center stage, highlighting its inherent qualities with subtle, yet thoughtful accompaniments. The service throughout my dining experience was impeccable. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring I had the best experience possible. They were more than happy to explain each dish and answer any questions I had about the ingredients or preparation methods. In conclusion, if you're a fan of sushi and looking for a memorable omakase experience, Sushi Lin is a must-visit. It truly stands out as one of the best places for omakase in the area, with exceptional fish quality, artful presentation, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Sushi Lin and eagerly anticipate my next visit. This is a dining experience you won't want to miss!
We were lucky to secure a table on Saturday 6pm and had a wonderful, high quality dinner. Pure joy when you are consuming well balanced pieces of omakase. Salmon tomato, yellowtail shishito pepper, Hokkaido uni and crab salad were especially my favorites. We will definitely be back. Great selection of sake.
I booked a last minute table for my friend's birthday because we love omakase and many places require booking a month in advanced, but Sushi Lin seems relatively lesser known for now. I heard about this place from the nycomakase Instagram page. We've been to Tanoshi and Nakazawa so far but what we loved about Sushi Lin was that although we might say the portions are slightly smaller (thumb length vs index finger length), the flavors are very innovative and unique, particularly the use of their house made soy sauce and truffle. We ordered the sushi/sashimi omakase for $80, which gave us four sashimi dishes (with at least two pieces each) and 8 sushi pieces, ending with one handroll - which was a little too oily for my taste, but for the most part they were all so delicious it was hard to choose a favourite to order extra pieces of. We also ordered the oyster sampler, which could have used a little less sauce, as it was overpowering, but the textures of the oysters were delicious. We would definitely come here again and try the chef's omakase at the counter.
Very good! More affordable omakase than many other sushi restaurants and it was delicious. We opted for the sushi and sashimi omakase, to which we added some Nihonjin sake and something else I don’t remember what. The sushi chef you could tell was interested in knowing if you like it.
I went there with friends last Saturday and had a great experience. I ordered sushi and sashimi combo that came with miso soup whereas one of my friends got the Omakase. My combo entree ($34) was great as the fish tasted very fresh, and my friend also clearly enjoyed her omakase ($100) with various fancy items. The waiters were very friendly and many of them spoke Chinese...
Hi everyone 👋👋👋! We would like to say thanks for Sushi Lin workers and service. We just come by chance 2 ago ( found this place by Google, Sushi Lin has the high rating). The tables was overbooked ( restaurant hours works from 5pm-11.30pm). When we told waiter the our kid hungry and our visit maximum for 30-50 minutes, he provided table gently the next few seconds. We was so excited and glad 😊😆😊. Quality of fish and food so high 🐟🐟🐟!!! Smoked salmon tasted amazing. Excellent serving . Sushi Lin has real professional workers. We recommend Sushi Lin 500%! Real rating 5.1 star's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✨!
Our friend took us to Sushi Lin in Brooklyn for dinner. We enjoyed both the omakase and several sushi rolls. The fish was incredibly fresh and naturally sweet, and the service was warm and attentive. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.
Very impressed! Reasonable price and excellent food! For the $90 omakase option, we got 3 courses with Uni and 2 with truffle and others. I usually don’t like Uni but the chef made them in a very likable way. Would definitely comeback or try another location.
Sushi Lin is the real deal! The service is always attentive, and Chef Lenny never misses — from the appetizers to the rolls, sashimi, and especially his full omakase set. The fish is unbelievably fresh, the ingredients top-notch, and every bite bursts with flavor. The richness of the fish honestly feels like being back in Japan. Do yourself a favor and ask for Lenny’s special (see photo). It’s unforgettable and might just ruin all other sushi for you — in the best way possible. I can’t get enough of this spot!
Had the sushi dinner which included a miso soup, 9pc sushi, and 1 roll. Every single piece was fresh and amazing. The otoro is always a fave. I will say this wasn’t super filling meal, so we ordered a 10pc omakase after to share (among 2). Pictured is half of the omakase and the flavors were incredible. Absolute must-try. Also tried a wagyu nigiri - worth it! Service was fast and friendly - will certainly be back.
Sushi Lin was absolutely incredible! Hands down the best omakase experience I’ve ever had. Every piece was expertly crafted, with the freshest fish and perfect rice. The flavors were delicate yet bold, and each bite was a work of art. The chefs were skilled and attentive, creating a truly immersive experience. The service was flawless—friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If you’re looking for top-tier sushi, Sushi Lin is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely my favorite place for sushi. When you order the omakase you aren't just served different cuts of fish you may be familiar with like bluefin tuna but rather get a series of carefully crafted pieces combining flavors you'd never expect. Whenever friends visit New York, I always suggest Sushi Lin
came here not knowing it was a local chain but the quality of the sushi was astounding and full of flavor and freshness. had the miso soup, the oyster sampler whose lead every oyster server should follow with the sauce within oyster shell and superb quality, along with maki rolls include salmon avocado - my fave, eel avocado, and negi toro - wifes fave. highly recommend
everything we tried was amazing, they also have a wide sake menu which we loved. i would suggest booking the bar table. the atmoshphere is 4 due to the music (pop music which didnt match the vibe/food) also there is a room divider in the middle which doesnt make sense and made out table feel outside of the main part.
Drove an hour to eat this and it did not disappoint. Went with super good friends & we all had an amazing time. Food was delicious and fresh and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere, will be back again soon!
The sushi and sashimi are fresh. The chef prepared appetizing portions for each dish. Small dine in space. But it’s cozy and enough to feel comfortable. It’s always satisfying coming here for our sushi crave. Food: 5 of 5 Service: 5 of 5 Atmosphere: 5 of 5
Great spot. My date had the sushi omakase & was very pleased. Service was attentive, sake was great. Everything was fresh & delicious.
Went here for our wedding anniversary. This will be a mixed review. In terms of price, this place is pretty good-on the medium side our total bill pre-gratuity was around $210 and we had a lot of food. I reserved on the counter as I wanted to see the sushi chefs and feel out the vibe. I wasn’t impressed as there was very minimum chatter between chefs and guests. As far as the food-it was phenomenal, it was fresh and tasteful. As far as the service goes, I’d give this place a solid 3 stars. We were not checked in on, we also had to wait for a food 15-20 minutes after I gave my card as the processing machine had an issue. Not very professional, even though at least 2 people who worked there came to us to let us know that there were issues.
First time visit and one of the yummiest omakase’s I’ve had! Friendly, fast service. Yummy house sake. Well priced, fresh. Can’t wait to go back!
I was craving for good quality sushi but was not hungry enough. I knew I wanted to do omakase but didn’t want to get a full one especially knowing that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy all without feeling too stuffed. At Sushi Lin, you can get a mini omakase! So I ordered a mini omakase which came with 5 pieces of sushi and a hand roll. I also ordered an uni tasting. Everything was perfect! It was just the right amount of food that satisfied me and I did not feel too full. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed the charred tomato over salmon. I’m totally getting a torch to char tomatoes from now on! 😄

The chef was amazing. One of the best meals of our lives so far. I recommend going a casual route with beer, they have a good selection. Delicious dessert. A very chill cool vibe. We will be thinking about this omakase for a long time.
Delicious and very fresh! and the atmosphere is fantastic. Great prices as well. Under 100$ for me and my partner, including drinks. I was surprised! Will be back
We just had a lovely experience at Sushi Lin, we sat at the counter for our anniversary dinner and it was all around a wonderful experience. Even though we waited a little longer than seemed normal (not the fault of the staff) they more than made up for it with their generous service and wonderful meal! We both opted for The fish was fresh, each piece balanced and unique. The uni, scallop and the tuna belly were a standout, but everything felt perfect. Highly recommend and will be back!

Wandered in at 6:15 on a Sunday with no reservation. Got a table no problem, but that’s not to say this place wasn’t bustling, because it is obviously popular. Cozy, with friendly waitstaff. Extensive sake list- though I had a cold Sapporo instead. Tables were tight, but we were seated near a screen which offered some privacy, which was nice. Ordered the tuna flight to share, plus a roll. Pieces weren’t large, but fish was dress and delicious. Especially liked the smoky tuna. (Never had that before: try it!). Only took off a star because I love inari, and they looked at me like I was crazy for asking for it. Oh well! We would go back.
Service is good. Food is good. You can sit at the Chef’s counter if solo dining — which can be quite entertaining. Delicious sushi. 🍣 🍱 P.S. Tighten chairs lest one breaks and someone injures themselves.
Did the full omakase; while New York has better omakase to offer, we left full and satisfied. The staff took good care of us. The Uni course was superb.
Sushi Lin has unbeatable price, 70$, for 10 pieces Omakase. Nigiri tasted fresh and delicious. I especially loved the fatty tuna with uni and caviar, uni tank, and seared salmon nigiri. Their octopus (appetizer) was really fresh and tasty too. I took away one star because the seaweed salad is too salty. Also, I wish they have fried food options like Karage.

$50 for a chirashi bowl that had tamago in it. Flag on the play. 5 yard penalty. Deducting two stars. We paying for fish. I got eggs at the crib.
I wanted to make my fiancé's birthday special by visiting this place, and I was hoping for a complimentary dessert as I had heard about them. However, we didn't receive any complimentary dessert. The food was okay, but it didn't exceed our expectations. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, another staff member, the hostess, seemed to be in a bad mood and was unkind. I don't think we'll be returning to this place in the future.
