I've been to a lot of pizza stores, I would say overall this is the best!

This place is legendary. And has been servicing residents of Boro Park and beyond, from this location for about 50 yrs. The food is delicious and the seating area is huge. I was just there for Melava Malka with my boys and we loved it.

Easy to get to on 18 Ave. stop, where you can make a day of it from Manhattan or Queens or elsewhere. Enjoy all the great offering here in a spacious dining room, including many truly perfected (milchig or parve) Israeli dishes. Lots of yeshiva students dine here. PS - Brought their frozen product - which I always stash in my freezer - to those who aren't even Kosher. They're delighted.

The newly renovated Mendelson's Pizza offers a wide variety of food and also has lots of seating which you mostly can't find in Bora Park the food tastes really good and the price is decent compared to other kosher restaurants in the neighborhood, parking can sometimes be challenging but if you willing to work a bit you can definitely find parking not far from the restaurant.

I like all the food. I go once a day. Sometimes salmon and chips, or fettuccine with mushrooms. Vegtable Pizza can have cheese added, it's great. Lines and décor who notices with great food. Love it.

The food is amazing and all dairy, no meat. Fresh and tasty, it's very busy so the service tends to come across as rude because they want to move you on. When we asked for coffee after the meal at the registered wasn't a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is like a dinner.

Mendelssohn Pizza became a hot place to get your favorite pizza years ago but it ha gotten much better. They changed their routine how to cash out its much better now. Its a big place and very clean. Atmosphere is great I highly recommend this place the pizza and all the other foods on the menu look great!!!

Factory like setting but great food and wonderful to see all the children having a blast. Sushi very slow (however they have sushi master, not machine), but excellent quality and standards from food, cleanliness to bathrooms - touch of class everywhere.

Delivering high quality food for 50 years from the same location, this establishment is still dishing out it's unique recipes for pizza, ziti, and pita. "What do you want to eat? What will you have to drink?" The cashier, pointing to the cans of pop - "You want Coke, which one? Ok, NEXT!" LOL what a fun, true New York experience. I was a big fan of the pizza - but do not be a silly gentile like me and ask for pepperoni (aye, meshuga, I know)... This is a KOSHER pizza shop, so no meat on cheese, and certainly no pork.

Same place that does there mass production, pizza is always fresh and taste great. I find the crust to be a bit over grainy but some people prefer it that way.

Food is generally excellent although I have not had their soups. You need to know what you want (and what they have for sale) from the steam table before you reach the counter.

Good food, variety and setting. 1 star off because it often closes really early whereas competing pizza stores are open til ~10pm. If it was open later I'd go there after work.

Solid overall, the new pasta bar is great. Prices are acceptable for the area, the food is 100% predictable, you're never going to have anything bad here, it's basic dairy Italian / pizza / salad bar, but now they have the pasta bar which is nice.

Definitely a unique taste- it took me a few minutes to decide whether I liked it or not. (On balance, I think I do). One thing I noticed from a visit: they seem to have a bigger non-pizza selection than other pizza places, so if you are coming with a group that might be a positive.

Food is amazing. Pizza is delicious, has that sweetness spicy combo. Reason I'm giving four stars is because the online ordering is horrible. Used to be with door dash and was great now uber eats have sometimes and not everything and sometimes they say not available, website is only pickup with limited order that they do have when you actually go to the store. You go to the store an hour later and will tell you oh we just got the order. Fix your online orders and i will change this to 10 stars because the store deserves it

Not a bad place to stop for a bite. I like their Pizza as it is always fresh and tasty. It never sits on the shelf for long. The Falafel Sandwiches are also good. Everything else like the pasta dishes might be a bit greasy. The fish is not bad. Overall not so bad - they serve many people so nothing sits for too long.

Service is slow. Tables not clean. Parking difficult. Food is awesome though. Pizza is delicious if you like sweeter type sauce.

Had the best mommy son date here. Plenty of room so doesn't feel crowned. Pizza was really yummy and such a generous size it was enough for me and my son to share. Fries were meh bland we barely touched. Ice cream the smallest cup was also huge we shared it too - such fun! Had a great time!!

The pizza and fries are really good. The reason why I’m deducting one star is because the guy behind the counter pressed the button for take out even though I said “To stay please.” which made the guys put the food in a bag which was a little bit annoying. Other than that everything is good

This is a classic a great pizza shop with some nice options for other dishes. The fish is fresh the falafel is great and the salads are well prepared. Service is fantastic. Great guys behind the counter and they are constantly trying to keep the place clean. I’ve taken many lunch guests there. I like the new place next door, I think the same ownership looking to cater to more of a table service type crowd.

My family really enjoyed the pizza. They have a variety of different pizzas with multiple toppings. They have knishes, calzones, salad, sushi, falafel, salmon, tilapia and more. There really is a lot to choose from if you're just not in the mood for pizza or just want a healthier meal. That said, they are priced quite high, and the service and the overall experience when eating there doesn't justify their prices. Their food is quite good, but not excellent and they have lots of place to sit, but during busy times it is so noisy and the lines are really long!

Pizza is ok. The sauce is a pit too sweet to my liking. All the other dishes are great. They have sushi and a large selection dairy dishes. They also have lots of space.

You need to stand in line to order, then 1 line for Pizza another line for French fries with falafel, by the time the fries was ready the pizza was cold. They need a better service plan.

Prices are high but the food and service is average at best. They have the computerized system and you choose from a menu, I ordered a tuna sandwich (for $6!) And they didn't ask if I need any vegetables in it or if I want it toasted etc. The pizza was cold, but the taste was good. They have a big seating area, I guess this is why this place is popular.

5 stars for the food and quick service, 0 stars for hygiene. Really disgusting the way the employees handle food with ungloved hands. Yuck. Owners - you need to set an example by using gloves for food handling, I. E. Modeling good hygiene, and you also need to supervise to make sure your workers use gloves.

I've been to Mendelsohn's twice so far... I would give their fries and pizza five stars but the guy who serves the fries is such an arrogant and rude person it takes away from my food experience. I've said this before in my reviews I'm not going to keep patronizing a store no matter how good their food is. You say hello or ask a question either no response or a rude gesture. I'm not accustomed to such treatment maybe other people like it I don't. Food is great. People not so much.😠

Kosher dairy place known for its pizza, which is fine but not outstanding. I had a nice piece of salmon that was delicious and pea soup. The really big draw, though is their marvelous, fluffy (and homemade?) pita bread - served with the soup - that is absolutely the best pita I have ever tasted anywhere!

Pizza isn't up to par to other good spots and price is much higher. Not worth it at all.

I Recommend that owners put more fresh items on the menu. The pizza was rewarmed and even then not very well. The booths fall apart when you sit in them. My vote would be to skip it until improvements are made.

This place went downhill pizza wasn't fresh and they charge extra for sauce on the side very cheap dont go.

Sweet not real pizza ... the red pepper shaker is dirty and chained !!! Do people steal pepper shakers, and if they do let them keep it. Poor customer experience... very weird. For $3.25 u expect Pizza...

The costumer service was horrible the Spanish worker the serve the costumers should be fired he looks fad up from working there gave me a terrible attitude! Pizza macaroni was really good .pizza mushroom/onion had a tip of a plastic bottle in it i almost broke my teeth I'm never coming back until they change the Spanish worker.

Placed an order for carry-out. Only realized after getting home (20 minute Uber ride away) that we were missing half of the food we had ordered. Called to request missing items to be delivered, or to receive a refund, and it went to voicemail. No one ever called me back. Absolutely unacceptable service for the number of people working there and I definitely won't be back. Disappointing as we were really excited about going here and had walked a while to get it. Can't comment on the taste of the pizza as they did not give us any.

Ordered through Uber Eats. They now use a delivery service called Sauce. App shows the person all over the map. I get my order, instead of a pie I get 3 slices in a smaller box. I asked the delivery guy and he just says it's the receipt that's correct. Called the restaurant and left a voicemail. They never returned my call. Never ordering from here again.

I do not know how people like the pizza here. Maybe as a kosher option. But as far as pizza goes this is not it. Randazzo's is a better close option, Lo Duca at Newkirk Plaza even better but a bit of a walk. Service here wasn't great either, and I got a lot of dirty looks when I walked in. Cashier was abrupt and short with me (it was my first time there) and rolled his eyes when I asked if they had parmesan. I get it to an extent because I've worked in food service in New York and new customers can be annoying, but it wasn't busy and I was pretty good at figuring out how to get my food and pay but they were still unfriendly with me. It felt race-driven but what are you gonna do.
