Absolutely delicious food and impeccable service! Everything we ordered was super flavorful and spiced/seasoned to perfection. We got onion pakora as an appetizer, and chicken korma and chicken tikka masala as entrees with garlic naan. The pakora had great flavor and beautiful crispiness. The naan was soft and buttery and delightfully garlicky. The entrees were also perfectly spiced and delicious. I’m usually very much a “mild” person and they prepared the dishes that way even though we’d forgotten to specify. There was just the slightest hint of heat that was noticeable to me but not to my husband who has a higher spice tolerance. It was just enough to complement the dishes in a beautiful way without being overpowering. My husband also got a mango lassi - rich, thick, creamy, and delicious. They don’t have a dessert menu, but do give you a complimentary little bowl of rice pudding that tastes like ras malai. And perhaps most impressively, all of this was less than $60! We very much look forward to going back!

Had an amazing dinner here on a quiet night with a group of four. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the service couldn’t have been better. Our waitress, Hawk, was attentive, friendly, and really made the experience enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

My family recently had a birthday gathering for our baby there. Baby turned 1, so was mostly for the family to get together and have a nice meal together. And well our experience couldn’t have gone more perfectly. The hosts were incredibly accommodating despite being a cozier setting, and us being a large group of about 11 adults and 4 kids. The food was fantastic, we opined about how much better this food was compared to other restaurants in the area we’ve visited. I cannot really eat spicy food so I stick to the creamy sauces and they were great, and everyone agreed. Since we were there earlier in the afternoon most patrons were coming to pick up orders chat a bit and then go home to eat, so we had the place basically to ourselves, they played happy birthday over their speaker system for the baby. It was just a terrific, warm and inviting atmosphere and the host/head waiter was awesome. Highly recommend.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would have. The food is INCREDIBLE. I am writing this review immediately after finishing dinner, yes, it was that delicious. The wait staff are also very helpful to provide insight on their dishes and what to get. Everything we had was amazing from the aloo papri to the spicy vindaloo, you cannot choose a wrong meal. The naan was so soft, fluffy, and flavorful. We will be coming back again and again for to enjoy their food, 1000000%. Thank you Mint Bay!!!

I recently dined at Mint Indian Restaurant in Bay Ridge, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The food was truly outstanding—each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and the biryani, which were cooked to perfection. What made the experience even better was the amazing customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to make recommendations. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful meal. Overall, I highly recommend Mint for anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have eaten at this restaurant several times. I’ve dined in and done take out. Every time it’s an absolute delight. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every time I go in to order takeout they offer me a place to sit while I wait. And when I dined in, the staff was very attentive and happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. The food is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Mango Chutney paired with anything. Also, the Chicken Madura is my absolute favorite dish! I highly recommend visiting. The inside of the restaurant is also decorated very nicely!

We were a party of 8 for dinner tonight. We each ordered a different main dish, so got a good sampling of the food. Everything was absolutely delicious! Everyone enjoyed whatever they ordered. The service was excellent and the final bill was very reasonable. We brought our own wine which rounded off the meal perfectly! Highly recommended! I hope they find a bigger place soon to accommodate more people comfortably.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Bay Ridge's new Indian restaurant Mint Bay. The food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding. Since my husband and I have totally different tolerances for spiciness we asked a lot of questions. The staff was so helpful in making suggestions, and everything was delicious. Will definitely be repeat customers.

My husband and I just stumbled upon this place while walking along 3rd Ave and we're so happy we did! Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive. We ordered the sampler appetizer so we could try a bunch of things, and it was more than enough for the two of us. Everything was juicy and well seasoned. For entrees I got the butter chicken which was a little more tomato-y than I'm used to but really enjoyed. My husband got the curry shrimp and finished the whole thing. Initially we didn't order any bread but then saw other people having garlic Naan and decided to order some - definitely a good decision. If you're in the area this is worth a stop!

Nice new Indian restaurant in bay ridge. I got the chicken tikka masala and chana masala lunch specials. Portions were good and the lunches specials come with daal and naan. Really delicious and fresh tasting. May become my favorite Indian spot in bay ridge will def come back to try more dishes.

Food is fantastic. Good spice level. And also you can eat without it feeling too heavy. Sometimes after indian food you get the feeling that food is too oily or you are bloated afterwards, but not at this place. Which speaks alot about the way it was cooked, very fresh. Highly recommend.

Delicious! The lamb korma has the perfect subtle sweetness, and very flavorful. Garlic naan was great as well. Also, some places charge for rice separately, but with Mint Bay it is included, which makes perfect sense. Wonderful ambiance, beautiful leather seats with a modern look, and Indian music played at a fun and comfortable volume. Fantastic service too. A+

Everything we ordered here was absolutely delicious. My favorite dish was definitely the lentil soup. The butter chicken however did taste a little warmed-over which means it could’ve been old—I hope that’s not the case. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We ordered the chicken lollipop, the cauliflower, Rogan Josh, crab curry and chicken biryani. Everything was super yummy! However, what made the meal so pleasant was the waitress! Always recommending something different and it always hit the spot. She was super kind and bubbly. It really just elevated the entire experience!

The sauces here are excellent. You have to get the mixed seafood curry. It is exceptional. The naan bread is fresh and baked just right with lots of garlic and butter. Samosas are crispy with excellent seasoning. Prices are great too. Just the right amount and the portions are just right.

Can't say enough! Excellent South Indian food, lovely staff, cute decor... Easily the best Indian food in Bay Ridge. A new regular spot for us. Pictured, papadams with mint and tamarind sauces, onion pakora, garlic cilantro roti, rice, saag paneer, coconut shrimp, whole spice chicken curry, mixed pickles (avocado, carrot, celery, lime).

When this restaurant first popped up I mourned the loss of the previous restaurant at this location but upon finally trying it out I can say it was a fair exchange. The food was all extremely delicious and you can tell the staff was enthusiastic and invested in providing excellent service. I highly recommend the chicken vindaloo with some garlic naan to those that can handle moderate spice . I asked for it to be prepared as spicy as possible and it was still relatively moderate on spice level so don't be too afraid of getting burned trying to explore the menu if you have decent tolerance.

This is a new Indian restaurant in Bay Ridge. I came here with group of 6 for a friends birthday. This was a pleasant surprise. I am used to going to Edison NJ for Indian food. But now things going to change. This spot was so good that we actually asked to meet the chef and gave him a round of applause! None of us had any complains about the food. Also this spot is BYOB. So we did bring in a bottle, and the server brought out ice and glasses for us. The manager (Nish) was very accommodating and the server was friendly. We had ordered a mixed grill, and the salmon piece accidently fell into a cup of drinking water as I was trying pass it to a friend. The manager saw this, we all laughed and he had the chef make an other piece of salmon and bring it to the table. By the time he had brought that out, we fished out the piece of salmon from the cup and ate that too. Over all we legit enjoyed the food and cant wait to go back. Have you ever had food and missed someone you loved? Lol so ya, I did. My wife didn’t come out to the birthday dinner because she was watching the kids. And I felt bad that she didn’t get to enjoy the food with us. I’ll be soon going back to this spot with my wife and kids. One thing to keep in mind is the spice level, If you ask them to make something spicy, it will be SPICY, SPICY. Which we didn’t mind at all. These are the things we ordered- -Bhel Puri – It tasted great, It could been a bit crispier.. Would order again -Non Veg Combination Plater – Also tasted great. Would order again. -Bhartha - Roasted eggplant curry, I personally thought I was just ok, but the person that ordered it said she enjoyed it. I am not a vegetable person, so.. -Chicken Tikka Masala – This one also, I am never a fan of this, but the guys that ordered it, enjoyed it. And they said they will get it again. -Crab curry – Loved the flavor, I was expecting actual full crab curry. This was actually crab meat curry(Real crab, not imitation crab). Will order it again. -Chicken biryani – Tasted good. Will get it again -Lamb biryani – Tasted great. Will get it again. I will probably get Lamb one over chicken biriyani though. -Lamb Rogan Josh – This was amazing! Just as I type I am getting hungry thinking about it. -Chicken 65 dry – I don’t think this is in the menu, we asked them to make it and they did. It was good as well. Garlic Naan - This was the best naan we had in a long time. It crispier than the ones we get at Edison. Tasted great. -Side of basmati rice – Even the plain rice tasted good lol. We had leftovers which they provided boxes and we packed it to go. Prices seem fare for the area. Over all we all enjoyed the spot and will be back again.

A Taste of India in Bay Ridge: A Culinary Gem Bay Ridge is home to many diverse cuisines, but this Indian restaurant is truly a standout. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed with warm hospitality and an ambiance that blends modern elegance with traditional Indian charm. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The chicken Makhani is a standout—perfectly buttery and creamy, with tender chicken cooked to perfection. The lamb vindaloo was a bold choice, offering just the right amount of heat for spice enthusiasts. Don’t miss the garlic naan—soft, buttery, and ideal for scooping up every last bit of sauce. This saag paneer dish is a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The spinach is expertly cooked to retain its vibrant green color and velvety texture, while the cubes of paneer are soft yet firm, soaking up the rich, earthy flavors of the sauce. The spices are perfectly balanced perfect for sharing or enjoying as a meal on their own. We definitely recommend the restaurant to Indian food lovers.

Beautiful cozy clean place, fast and friendly service. First time visiting and I highly recommend you try it. The naan was so light, soft and tasty. The food was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly, pleasant and attentive to us. One of the waitress was kind enough to offer a samosa on the house, since it was three of us. Started chatting with Hannah, such a pleasant and brilliant young lady. I wish her all the best with her MBA and future travels. Highly recommend this place.🇹🇹🇺🇸 NY

I was referred to Mint Bay from one of my FaceBook parent groups and decided this would be such a great change of pace for a day-date with the hubby during our holiday season vacation. Honestly, there isn't a good Indian restaurant yet in Bay Ridge, and I hope Mint Bay is here to stay! We came in and were seated right away in the sun-drenched table we had been ushered to, and quickly went to work on deciding what to order. I needed mango lassi right outta the gate, and had my heart set on saag paneer, while hubby wanted his tried and true - chicken tikka masala. We each got separate orders of naan - onion for me, and garlic for him - and our orders each came with rice, which was nice. There seemed to be a few take out orders being picked up, so the kitchen was busy in the afternoon. The staff were all very nice and friendly. The lunch did not disappoint! The saag paneer had just the right amount of heat spice that made me enjoy every savory mouthful and the chicken tikka masala sauce was the most beautiful color I've ever seen! The portions were very decent, and the naan was well worth the wait for! If I wasn't so stuffed, we would've looked at the dessert menu, but didn't even cross our minds as to how satisfied we were. The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. The newly opened restaurant prepares Indian cuisine. I ordered the prix fixe dinner which offers customers a choice of an entree and appetizer. The dinner includes naan bread which is similar to a large pita bread and basmati rice. I ordered the goan salmon which is cooked in coconut curry. The vegetable samosa appetizer is filled with potatoes and peas in a pastry shell. The restaurant has a nice variety of chicken, lamb, seafood and vegetable options. Portions are a generous amount with very good prices. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Bay Ridge. The chicken vindaloo, the salmon Tikka were very delicious & spicy ( upon request). The appetizers were yummy too. Our server, Nish, was very courteous & professional. We ordered 2 samosa plates which come with 2 pcs each but he bought us 5 pieces because we were 5 people. Highly Recommended.

I was happy to see a new Indian restaurant open in Bay Ridge and found Mint Bay to be significantly better than their competitors in Bay Ridge. The service was excellent, the food was good. I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and lamb rojan josh. The curry was flavorful, though I found the lamb was over cooked and a bit tough. They need to use better quality lamb. The basmati rice was fragrant and cooked perfectly. The kashmiri naan was excellent.

We did a take out for dinner. I ordered chicken chatnar which was an okay dish. The restaurant gave us a complementary Naan which was nice of them. The restaurant looks great and has a variety of food which I would like to try sometime. Good dining space, with street parking which you can imagine in Brooklyn. The rates on the menu in google maps have to be updated from the $5 to actual prices.

I'm so glad there's finally an Indian spot in Bay Ridge that doesn't upset my stomach. I tried their Samosa, Cauliflower Manchurian, Chana Saag, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Shrimp Biryani. Everything was delicious!

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was genuinely impressed! The veggie samosa was perfectly crispy, and the accompanying sauces added a flavorful kick. The garlic naan was incredibly fresh, straight out of the oven and full of that irresistible aroma. But the star of the meal was definitely the chicken tikka masala. It was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The only small downside was the rice, which arrived a bit cold, and the fried onions on top weren’t as crunchy as expected. Still, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes. This place has serious potential to become a favorite!

I had a fantastic experience with [Product/Service/Place Name]! The [Key Feature 1, e.g., quality of ingredients, ease of use, atmosphere] was outstanding, and I was particularly impressed by the [Key Feature 2, e.g., friendly staff, quick delivery, stunning design]. It really made a difference. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for [what it offers, e.g., a delicious meal, a reliable gadget, a great time]. Can't wait to try it again!

My partner and I had dinner here the other night and the food was delicious! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Our only complaint was that the naan did not come out with our main dishes, we asked our server twice about it and were given no explanation. We probably had to wait 15 minutes for it to come out. Other than that little hiccup the restaurant was beautiful and I would go there again!

Unfortunately Mint Bay has had the same trajectory as many other Indian eateries, a strong start with a quick and precipitous decline. Our first meal from Mint Bay we ordered Ala Carte and while I wouldn’t describe the meal as good it was certainly passable for this Indian born eater to stick in the neighborhood if a craving strikes. For our second order we tried their price fixe option and it was atrocious, the chicken tikka had the traditional low quality Campbell soup flavor, the saag was utterly favorless and devoid of any love. If you want incredibly mediocre if not downright inedible Indian food you have your pick of two options as Mint Bay has joined my personal list of aggressively awful Indian food in Bay Ridge.

We came here because of the 4.6 stars on Google so was shocked with our experience. The wait staff were not friendly...almost snobby and made us feel very uncomfortable. Food wasn't bad, but not worth the amount they charge. We ordered exactly the same items at Ashoka Grill in Flatbush for like 80% of the total here and the service over there was impeccable. Will not return. If it wasn't for their decor... I would have rated 1 star.

I was excited to try this new place ut came quickly for delivery I ordered the chicken Tikka masala which tasted like a creamy tomato soup nothing of Indian flavor . The basmati rice was missing Indian flavors very bland the Naan bread was soggy and tasted frozen nothing tasted Indian and I personally think Taj Mahal is way better . Wouldn't recommend.
