Truly a gem that I’m so glad I found, I guess I have Ubereats to thank for that. I grew up in Sunset Park but usually only frequent Chinatown in person for trips to their seafood markets so I’m not surprised that I never stumbled across this spot but next time I’m in the area I’m definitely stopping by. Their BBQ meats are just so damn good. So so so so so so so good. I’ve had them all except for the chicken. I was on a Roast Pork ordering spree and I just decided one day to try the Roast Pig. I was hesitant to do so before because they are a bit far from where I live now and soggy pork skin isn’t my favorite. But when I tell you, that does not matter honey? I ain’t lying. Even if it does get soggy, it’s still so damn delicious. And the FLAVOR? The FLAVORRRRRRR! I hate bland pork, my culture hates bland pork lol.. the Roast Pig from New Yee Li is far from bland. It’s seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. Duck is also fire but the star of the show is the Roast Pig so make sure you try it and thank me later.

Perfect place for Chinese comfort food. Two teen boys needed rice dishes (roast pork/roast pig and roast pork/soy sauce chicken) to fill them up after marching in the St. Patrick's Day parade. Quick service.

I order from here regularly and the food is always sooo good! I get the salted peppercorn pork chop & steamed seasonal vegetables with oyster sauce every time but I've tried most of the items on the menu and this place is legit. The portions are pretty generous as well. I've requested extra peppers and they included sooo much and didn't charge extra (I asked them to charge me). Also very nice people, including their delivery guys - I've picked up from them before and the place is busy! Hardworking, nice people with awesome food - Love ordering here for a pick-me-up :)

Very limited parking. We had a good service. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered the steak with onion. The meat was cheap and not good at all. We also ordered the Beef Chow Fun, which was very good. The Sweet and Sour Pork chops were average. The steamed short ribs were also very good.

Sour cabbage is also very good and will definitely order again, another solid item here. Even the tea is good here. Just 3 tables. Mostly for takeout. Decent bathroom and very friendly service.

This is not your typical fast food beef and broccoli with greasy pre-made industrial sauce. You can taste the ingredients in the sauce. It is very good most of the time. If you expect American-style chinese beef and broccoli go to the Great Wall. For lunch, I get roast pig over rice. Pretty good most of the time. The problem is a lack of volume. If you get it fresh out of the oven, the roast pig is amazing. If you want more consistency, I suggest you go to 8th ave and stand/fight with the mob for fresh BBQ. If you want a calm experience this is the place for you. This place is better than your average Chinese fast food place and capable of providing a full traditional Chinese meal. I been here with my family in the past. There is enough room for three big round tables similar to the size you would see in the big restaurants. The consistency is not 100%. But it is good enough for me to come back over the years. In a nutshell, you get 8th ave level Chinese food without the hassle of 8th ave.

I handed a $100 bill to pay. I expected the guy (cashier) would hand me back the change, but he threw it on the counter, very rude.

After I picked up my food I checked the receipt, and they charged me $35. I was already too far away to go back. I called and I said hi you charged me $35 not $25. Those were the only words I could get in. She spoke over me for 2 minutes and I asked could you let me speak me. She continued talking and then hung up. Extremely rude.

Shady restaurant. They purposely blocked the window so you can't see they were giving you unsold food from previous days. If you look around this is the only Chinese restaurant that didn't want you to see what's behind the window.

Service was so-so and meals are overpriced in my opinion. They tried to charge me $6 for 2 small bowls of rice which was corrected to $3. Would not go back to this restaurant again. Not very clean as well. Other customer gets a plate of peanuts but we did not get any because we are not regulars.

If you decide to eat in, whoever is behind the cash register will serve you. Make sure to ask them to wash their hands each time they touch your plates. The last time I visited, I saw the back chef picking up a piece of meat from the floor right after he dropped it and put it with the other meat. I had no choice but to walk out. This restaurant is like the outside eateries in Hong Kong, where they can't afford to rent and must open outside. Even the cashier, who acts like a manly girl, can be very rude! Remember, she'll be the one serving you. I hear the customer calling her, "hey beautifu", in order to get a better service. This is a takeout joint only. If you want better food, take a walk further down to like 66th st and turn left to 8th ave. Where you'll find really authentic Chinese food. But if you're looking for cheap, fast, and ok Chinese food, this place will do!
