Such a lovely experience! Huge spot, beautifully decorated. A line out the door that moved super fast. The broths were robust, flavorful and spicy! The AYCE (all you can eat) style made ordering feel free and they kept the portions reasonable, so if you order thoughtfully - you'll finish nearly everything on the table (which I am glad for because I hatee to waste). The staff were so kind and attentive. And the iPad ordering made everything seamless. They have a fragrance satchel making station on M/W/F so we didnt even feel the wait time. There's also a membership where you can get the buffet for cheaper, free dessert, and more. Great spot, we will def be back. Come check then out!
This place is awesome! Ordering on the tablet was super easy. The staff made me feel really welcome, too. I loved that everything was self-serve, from the sauces to the drinks. Definitely coming back here soon! First image is the butter spicy broth and the second is the spicy lamb broth.
Great hotpot, could improve on their selection of free drinks. Make sure you cook everything thoroughly though, they emphasize when you are ordering to cook everything well done. Imo depending on your budget this is probably the 2nd-3rd best hot place in the 8th ave area. High budget this is prob 2nd best in the area. Low budget this is prob 3rd best in the immediate area. If you go around lunchtime it's usually not busy. Prices: So hotpot here they charge $20~ for starting a pot for you on top of their hotpot prices. Regular hotpot(not many seafood options) price is from $36~, premium hotpot is ($52~ for many seafood options). After tax and tip it's around ~$70 if you go solo, or $60~ each for a duo eating regular hotpot. (I wouldn't go here for the premium hotpot as there's a better premium alternative nearby.) When you pay, you pay a few dollars less per person if you open a membership and put in at least $100 cash. Basically the more people you go with the more people you can split the $20 pot fee with and the more you benefit from opening a membership. Service is alright, you have to do the hotpot yourself (this applies to most hotpot stores) so they're mainly just bringing you food and taking away your old plates etc. Fairly polite.
one of the most aesthetically appealing hotpot places i have been to in nyc. i love that it the decor makes you feel like you’re somewhere in china. there was a lot of seating but we had made a reservation just in case. they provide a bag for your clothes and also aprons while you eat. you order on the tablet so that makes things very easy and portions are small so you can try many different items. the quality of the food was also very good. you can choose from the regular or premium menu. we got the herbal chicken and tomato soup bases. they also had a large sauce selection, drink selection and some hot foods. members also get access to their snack bar. would come again when im in brooklyn.
It’s safe to say i found my new favorite AYCE HOTPOT PLACE , The ambience is beautiful , the staff takes well care of you , please go here , Don’t wait you will love it , also i was won a small gift through a raffle they have before you leave , i will be returning i love it here
Very pretty inside. Was surprise how spacious inside was. Food arrive quick and service was really good.
Variety: Extensive selection of meats, veggies, snacks, and beverages. Flavors: Authentic soup bases; the fried pork trotters are a standout dish. Atmosphere: Traditional Chinese decor with a unique character. Service: Very attentive and timely. Tip: High foot traffic during meal times; expect a wait.
Dinner at Xiang Hotpot felt like being VIP at a flavor festival. The staff checked in constantly, refilled broths without us asking, and walked us through the menu like pros. From the moment we sat down, everything ran smoothly, fast seating, quick orders, zero attitude even during a busy rush. Tables are a little close, but the hospitality is so on point you forget about the crowd and just enjoy the experience. This is the kind of service that makes you want to come back hungry.
I took my husband here to enjoy his birthday, and we absolutely enjoyed our time here. The atmosphere is very beautiful and well lit, the staff were very friendly. The food was very delicious and came quickly when we ordered. The tea that was free, unlimited was very addicting. I am most definitely coming back for another celebration!
Truly one of the best hotpot dining experiences I have ever had. Prices weren’t terrible, and you have all you can eat. Service was stellar, our broth was always checked on and replenished. 10/10 would recommend and definitely need to go back again during the winter.
AYCE hotpot heaven with the longest meat board! Unlimited meat, seafood, sashimi, hot food, drinks and desserts. This spot brings all the vibes — the interior feels straight out of China with glowing lanterns, traditional touches, and that cozy hotpot warmth. $36 regular | $53 premium (premium meat and seafood) Follow me @foodie.elite on IG and Tiktok for more!
I went to Xiang Hot Pot in Brooklyn and had a great time. The food was pretty good and the service was nice and attentive. The prices were reasonable for hot pot, and I liked that they had many options to choose from. I also got to play a little game at the end and won a cute small bear plushie. It was such a fun experience overall. I would definitely come back again with friends.
I was impressed! Let’s start from the service as simple as they solved the obvious problem that most hot pot and bbq restaurants have been experiencing but most of them don’t care enough to do anything to create a better experience for customers—it’s the stinky jacket problem! The last time we went to a hot pot restaurant in other state in the US, we ended up spending over $50 to have our winter coats cleaned. So the first thing after we arrived, right away they asked us to keep our jackets in a big plastic bag that was tugged underneath the side table next to us which was brilliant! Now, let’s talk about food and how simple and easy it was to place orders. They gave us a tablet that we can place orders of whatever in the selection and whenever we want. The selection has many interesting and delicious items that made me want to order many of them to try. We had 2 different broths; pork bone broth and the spicy popular broth. The pork bone broth was absolutely flavorful. The spicy was good but I still prefer the simple umami broth. The hot pot items were fresh and delicious. We were quite surprised how much we enjoyed the sashimi plate (non-hot pot item) very much. It was fresh with a decent quality. We appreciate the little thoughtful services they have around the restaurant. Absolutely lovely! We will be back again soon!
This restaurant has a cool and stylish interior that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.Of course, the highlight is the food—everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the staff are incredibly kind and attentive. They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. Their friendly service makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend checking this place out! If you're having trouble booking an appointment online, don’t worry—just give them a call! There's a good chance they'll be able to fit you in.
If you’re craving authentic hotpot, Xiang Hotpot is the place to go! The broth is rich and flavorful, with plenty of options to customize your meal just the way you like it. They offer a great selection of high-quality meats, fresh seafood, and a variety of vegetables, so you can mix and match to your heart’s content. The sauce bar is also a highlight—you can create your own dipping sauce for the perfect flavor combo. What I love the most is the spicy broth—it has just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. But if you’re not into spicy food, their mild broths are just as delicious. On top of that, the servers are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better! Plus, if you sign up for their membership program and load money onto your account, you can enjoy a free dessert—so I highly recommend signing up! Overall, Xiang Hotpot is a fantastic spot for a fun and satisfying meal, especially if you’re dining with a group. Definitely a must-visit for hotpot lovers!

Loved this hot pot place! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were super fresh—especially the meats. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy but lively. Perfect spot for a comforting meal with friends. Will definitely be back!
The food here is really good—fresh ingredients and flavorful broth. Just expect a longer wait, especially during peak hours. Probably because it’s so popular. Worth it if you’re not in a rush!
If you care purely about the food and are deciding between here and kpot, go kpot. If you're going for experience and service this is the spot. Had peter serving us and he was super helpful food was pretty good the portions are pretty small sometimes but the quality is top tier. Snow crabs were so good. Ate till I could not had a great time
Came here with a crew of 11, 2 families, service was good, food was good and only 1 gripe, the soda and soy bean milk refrigerator was not cold enough. Popular all-you-can-eat (AYCE) destination that offers a stylish and vibrant dining experience. Reviewers frequently highlight its modern decor, which features high ceilings and traditional Chinese accents, creating a space that feels both hip and cozy. Customizable Hotpot Experience: Guests use tablets to order from an extensive selection of fresh ingredients, including premium meats like Wagyu beef and various seafood options like shrimp and large clams. Unique Broth Options: Signature soup bases include a Spicy Butter Broth—often presented with a decorative butter bear—as well as Herbal, Tomato, and Pork Stomach & Chicken broths. Extensive Sauce Bar: A standout feature is the large DIY sauce station, where diners can mix their own dipping sauces from a wide array of seasonings and oils. Complimentary Extras: The AYCE price includes access to two refrigerators stocked with various soft drinks and teas, plus a selection of snacks like shaved ice, milk tea grass jelly, and complimentary ice cream at the end of the meal.

We walked in on a Thursday night and didn't have a wait. Sat immediately, they provide you a large bag to out your jackets in so they won't smell by the end of dinner which was nice. They provide you an iPad to order what you'd like. There's a sauce station and a small hot station but only a couple items. We walked here but there is some street parking around. Somewhat loud music but you can still hear your party and talk comfortably at the table. It is largely serviced through the iPad, and the only interaction is when they drop it off at the beginning, bringing you your items and at the end. We ordered the medium spicy soup and their new coconut chicken broth. The coconut chicken broth was unexpectedly sweet, too sweet for our taste but after a couple top offs, it evened out. Their sauce bar was nice and extensive for things to add. The milk buns from the hot bar had freezer burn and was somewhat inedible. All of the meat we ordered were of good quality and the vegetables too. The seafood wasn't bad. We also ordered the soup dumplings which came frozen and took awhile to cook in the soup. There's a fridge that you can grab some soft drinks (coke, diet coke, fanta, brisk iced tea) and there was also bottled water and passionfruit tea. Overall, an ok experience but not sure if I'd come back.

Food is average... nothing special. Service is as average. It's hotpot so you cook your own food and they do not serve drinks but tell you where the fridge is to grab a drink yourself. Ambiance is nice but it really smells in there... not my first hotpot place but the smell was worse here. We drove from NJ for a friend's 30th to try this spot because she saw it on TikTok (by someone names tiff) and sent it to us. I will tell you right now... the TikTok is as not the experience at all!! Idk if she got paid or received a special free dinner to make that video or maybe she knows the owners but her video was far from the actual experience. Inside is pretty nice as far as the decor goes. The website said it was open till 2am and google said till 1am. We got there at like 10:30pm with a decent size group.. a few who never had hotpot before. They tell us the kitchen is closing in about an hour (it's all you can eat and not cheap). We were upset because the website did not say this and we drove about an hour to try this spot. They did not offer us anything and said we could only order the all you can eat buffet but that we could order extra in advance before the kitchen closes and still eat so we decided to stay. Wish we didn't. 1. We were rushed to order 2. They were out of several broths which we have to pay extra food. They also started removing the sauces early so we didnt have enough for our food. Ridiculous. They also said they ran out of the tea that is included but we could buy other teas. You say online you close at 1-2am but at 10:30-11pm you are out of a lot and stop serving stuff. You told us only the kitchen would close at 11:45pm but everything else would be fine. 3. So on top of charging extra for the broth which is not even included in the all you can eat buffet. You are forced to buy it because the meat/seafood comes raw and thats the only way you can cook the food. 4. Then they come while we are just start eating to say we have to pay now- we were sitting for maybe 20 mins! We were literally all really hungry and the first batch of food just cooled enough to eat and we had our jackets/wallets away because they had us put them in big plastic bags so they don't smell. So luckily one person offered to put it on their card so we all didn't hVe to stop eating and look through the bag for our jackets/ belongings for our money. 5. Oh and the bathroom was disgusting!! Overall, not the cleanest looking/smelling place but esp. the bathroom. Wish i took a picture. 6. Not a big deal but there were soooo many open tables... not packed at all and no one else waiting and they still made the party of 4 we dropped off while finding parking wait to be seat till everyone was there. I get it when its busy but come on. Overall, not a good experience and even when we expressed this and with all the issues/missing food/drinks/sauces they did not offer a discount at all. We did get an apology several times. Thats all. All the extras in the TikTok advertising was not a thing at the real restaurant. Do not waste your time coming here... so many other better hotpot spots.
The quality of Xiang hotpot has definitely gone down over the years, this used to be one of the best in Brooklyn but now the business owners are making terrible business decisions by cutting costs on ingredients with measly portion sizes and they are no longer fresh causing stomach problems after I finished the meal. This is the first time I’m hearing a place charge an ADDITIONAL $20 FOR BROTH. You read that right, the broth itself costs $20 with some over $25. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE BUFFET like most hotpot AYCE places. This is pure GREED. Waiters also rushed for us to finish as they needed a table for a birthday party. Does not plan on returning ever in the future. Extremely disappointed given that I’ve always recommended Xiang to friends in previous years
