Great beer, knowledgeable and kind bartenders, the big backyard is a great place to relax on a hot day. They use air purifiers inside - a big thank you from everyone who still takes COVID seriously, this is one of the only indoor bars I’ll go to in the winter.

Nostrand Avenue Pub is a great local dive. They have an excellent tap list and a bunch of interesting liquor too. The back patio is really large and a great place to hang out. This is definitely one of the best bars in Crown Heights.

Love this place. The outdoor patio in the backyard is a great option. They keep a rubix cube at the bar that I've completed several times. Good vibes.

solid local pub with no frills. very simple layout that's great for just hanging with the locals and sitting back to chat. the bartender working was really nice and fast too. perfect pours in spirits and sodas. but i really like the random things on the walls, nothing too flashy or oversaturated.

A nice neighborhood bar with a huge courtyard, the restrooms were clean, the alcohol selection isn't particularly wide, but if you're looking to drink a beer close to home, this is a great place, the staff are nice people at not expensive prices at all.

My first experience here ensured I won’t be returning. My group of ~10 were ready to spend our evening here, but even after a majority of us ordered drinks, we were incessantly asked about ordering even more drinks. There were plenty of open seats indoors and outdoors, but we left after not even spending 15 minutes here cause we felt so unwelcome. When one friend, who is using crutches, capitulated after the bartender came outside to ask again what we’re ordering, the bartender told them “you have to order inside.” The bartender then pestered my friend about ordering for our group outside. It didn’t seem like the same treatment was given to other groups around us. It’s worth noting we were a majority Asian group. NOTE: the owner’s reply is incorrect. 2 people had to leave early anyways so our party ended up being 10. 7/10 of our party ordered. You can check the timestamps of receipts around that same time. We are not a monolithic group of people.

Used to come here a lot but had the weirdest interaction with staff that confirmed I’ll never come back. Came in with a group of like 10 (their sign literally says large groups welcome) and we went to the backyard where there were only two other small groups. This place has a ton of space both indoors and outdoors. More than half of us got drinks, the rest of us don’t drink so just hung back at our table. Every five minutes, someone came out to ask if the rest of were going to get drinks and insisted that if they weren’t going to drink, they at least had to get a soda. It felt weirdly racialized and unnecessary. We ended up leaving without finishing our drinks because we felt so uncomfortable so warning that apparently everyone in your party MUST drink IMMEDIATELY
