This is hands down the BEST Chinese spot I’ve ever been to in all the places I’ve tried in NYC! I’ve yet to find another place that does steamed dumplings the way they do it here! The BEST steamed dumplings seriously. Like if you’re thinking about it- just come and try them now!!! 🫶🏻💖 you would NOT regret it! The workers are very friendly and very hardworking. Always polite and efficient at their jobs. Highly recommended!!
Honestly. Great, quality food. Place is pretty clean and Lenny's pretty cool. But the food is sooo good.
Oriental Palace Kitchen is hands down the cleanest Chinese restaurant in the area! Out of all the nearby spots, this is the only place where I feel completely comfortable dining. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. It’s a relief to find a place where quality and cleanliness go hand in hand. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a clean atmosphere!
Good chicken and broccoli spot
Proud to say I grew up eating this and so did my mom before me though she ate it a lot less than me I’m not sure what age she discovered it lol, I love the employees though I’ll admit sketchy people come in all the time,,,
This is the best Chinese Food Restaurant in Coney Island... I love the Green Salad with Fried or grilled Chicken Strips.. My daughter loves the Broccoli and Garlic Sauce.. My husband and Mom swears by the Shrimp Chow Mein.. I've been enjoying this restaurant since they opened... Besides mixing up an order once or twice.. I've really had no problems with the food.. Hey Lenny and Family.. I remember Lenny When he was ja young man.. He was fineee.. With his streak of blonde hair..lol Anyway They Care about their Customers and Their food. Update: First time back since the door has been open.. Prices are a little higher but the food has gotten a little better too.. August 12, 2023: Still great..
Oriental Palace has been part of the Coneisland community for yrs now the food is amazing but it's best to come for their lunch specials from 1130 until 330 if not u be paying a pretty penny for there dinner platters lunch is about $8.00 a,plate with your choice of soup or soda
My friends who live in this neighborhood all swear by this restaurant ! I don’t love that it is cash only but at least it is clearly stated online that it is cash only so it doesn’t catch people off guard. The prices are the usual ones for Chinese take out and generally no complaints about the food! Back when indoor dining was still happening, I loved coming in to dine because it’s pretty spacious for a chinese food spot !
Love this place. Efficient, cheap, and delicious. This is my go to take out spot when in Brooklyn. Note that they don't take credit cards but that just adds to the old world charm. Try fried cheese wontons!
It's your average chinese restaurant, nothing that makes it stand out yet it's still great
Basically one of the many Chinese restaurants in the area. but quite edible, fresh food. most likely because there is a large flow of people. There are always people there and therefore products do not stay long. prices are normal for our area for chinese food. in principle, we like the prices and the food, too, we often order food home there. cheap
Okay selection. Okay prices. You can sit down, I never do though. Wonton soup is pretty good! If they were a bit more welcoming and friendly to customers I'd consider giving 5*. If you dig Chinese, give them a chance.
The place is a little dingy, but the lunch special is lovely and the food is made at a brisk pace. The staff is filled with tired, funny people who remember your face and laugh with you, and the people work to make sure your order is good. I go here regularly; best place in the area.
The food is outstanding! the best Chinese food you'll taste in Coney Island...however they DON'T DELIVER! even though on their online profiles they say that they do, but they simply don't or maybe they won't. Who knows.
Decent food, normal prices, hoods favorite chinese take out.. They got a A on the inspection. Staff is kool. Food is clean.
My family and I have been coming here for over ten years. Tonight I ordered chicken wings, sesame chicken which came with no sesame seeds and they forgot the most important part of the meal. The rice. Really?!! This place is great but this is completely unjustifiable. See photos. And the non existent rice
This restaurant has been a staple of my childhood for over a decade and a half, but nostalgia couldn't cloud my judgment anymore. The service provided was the best thing available as some of the premier dishes tasted off. The shrimp fried rice was wonderful, but the chicken and broccoli rice dish had me questioning it a little more than I was enjoying it. If anything the restaurant's presentation, rambunctious guests, and sanitation of the tables probably offset my appetite a bit more than I wished to care for. All in all, few dishes stand out while most falter.
There was a hair in my food & a fly in my sons food
Plain type of Chinese food Ordered a hamburger special Got a raw frozen burger 🍔 Half cooked French fries 🍟 When I went back was told new man on grill he should not have been cooking they will do it over if i pay for it Spring rolls have very limited filling they hate to give a couple extra duck sauce I never use any others They claim you don't use sauce Tried again got wrong dish and they could v Care less
I don't know what kind of grub they've got, but the service is a total flop. There's this jerk sitting there who's all about yelling at folks like it's no big deal. And when I told him to chill out, he just hung up. No way I'm going back there.
