Nothing has changed here. The raw clams and calamari were off the chain. First time trying the lobster bisque and that also slapped! Can’t wait for another excuse to grab some more!

The restaurant impresses with its atmosphere and unique coziness. It feels like a two-story restaurant with a long history. I rated it 4 stars. Now I'll tell you what made me lower my rating. First, the appetizer portion size- in our case, it was calamari... unfortunately, was the smallest portion I've ever seen and more expensive, though not much more than in regular seafood restaurants. The taste also earned me 4 stars. However, the main course portion was very large, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the PASTA COMBO with LOBSTER and SHRIMP SAUCE- an amazing combination of flavors. Aldente linguine with sauce and pieces of lobster and shrimp—the price was $42. Finally, I'd like to point out the slightly inflated prices and limited parking.

Came here for lunch in the beginning of Sept so it wasn't really busy. This is sort of a no frill, family restaurant. It's a staple of sheepshead bay. Ordered a garlic lobster, clam chowder, seafood pasta, and a fish fillet. Everything was phenomenal as always. The lobster was slightly overcooked - came out a bit chewy.

This restaurant is my mom favorite place to hang out with her friend. They always come here to enjoy fresh seafood, and she take me with her this time. This place is pretty far from my home and its lot of traffic on BQE, but they love to come here anyway. I enjoy everything, little neck clams, oysters, mussels, whole lobster and the happiest time dinner with my family. Service and vibe of this place are good, welcoming and casual.

Was looking forward to this place. But unfortunately the food didnt hit as as I had anticipated. Had Shrimp fra diavolo (my favorite sauce) and it was just okay My parties other dishes had same feelings as a couple of it were bland. Calamari was okay as was the NE chowder but the Manhattan was just okay and spicy bisque very salty. Went right when it opened so don't know if that had an effect but friend mentioned they've been really inconsistent, esp. with her shrimp scampi dish. Good service though.

Their famous sauce was truly amazing, but I felt unimpressed otherwise. Oysters tasted bland. This I blame New York because it probably just isn't the best place for oysters. Greek restaurants in Astoria also do a better job at frying calamaris.

It is fine. It is decent. A neighborhood seafood diner I guess. No frills in the food. I should have ordered something different as opposed to the usual. Coke is a bit expensive for the tiny bottle. Very professional... if you spent more time making your establishment great again instead of lying on honest reviews maybe you wouldn't get repeated poor reviews from not just my self but everyone else's including before this review! In response to the "owner" claims this is a repeated "fake review" It's Not. I grew up out here and I reiterate the below: This place fell off big time. This used to be one of the top seafood spots on emmons Avenue. I thought it was a one-off so I went back a second time. I decided to order a different dish thinking that maybe the last dish was just not good but I had the same poor experience. The waitress was miserable as if she didn't want to be there. Not sure what happened to this place but what a shame talk about running a family business into the ground... the quality of food and poor service is disappointing. Never going back again. I know people who got sick eating there last summer... Hard pass.
