Food is really good. Servers are very nice. Price is reasonable.
really tasty. My favorite place to go. Cheap, fish is fresh and I go there all the time
Fresh food and friendly staff. I think it's an excellent spot for groups of two to four people to take lunch here. I can spend at least two hours there by myself and taste just about everything on the menu. For all you can eat, please keep the order rolling. Wish they could offer some dessert items like mochi.
I’ve been going to Sake sushi since 2009 and it’s a lovely all you can eat spot I can assure you the quality of food and how quick the food gets served also you will enjoy the noisy 86 street with the subway running every 5 minutes but the experience is amazing and definitely worth it, always will be my spot to highly recommend and bring friends to.
Best bang for your buck. Delicious food in a lively part of town. Would definitely return :)
Excellent all you can eat sushi. When it says all you can eat, it really means all you can eat (for a good price). The sushi and hot food is fresh and almost always great. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Only complaint is when it gets very busy (such as a saturday evening), service can be a little lacking.
Real Nice place. Local and not a lot of tourists which is good to avoid noise... Fast service, nice rolls of sushi and the all you can eat options is just amazing for a casual lunch or dinner. It worth the price and friendly crew. You must visit the place. However, before or after you can talk a walk around it, you are going to find Chinese stores which fruits and vegetables, seafood and gifts. Really nice and local perspective of downtown Brooklyn. 👍🏽👍🏽
Honestly I've never been here before and this was a great first impression. I was just here meeting friends but I will be back!!
I highly recommend going here! The service is super fast and they are every efficient and aware of all the customers. I will say there is a lot of people but it is worth it. They have a wide variety of dishes and they taste amazing. I went here right after my graduation to celebrate.
For the quality and the $18.95 price for AYCE sushi you can't beat it! 🍣💬I love the Naruto roll. 🥒💬Cucumber instead of rice! The sushi here is so fresh and the cost of the all you can eat is very reasonable compared to other places that are local. This place CAN get super busy on weekend nights, so be prepared to get there early and get on the list. If it’s that busy, you’ll get put at a table that may be very close to other parties but it’s all good because the service is amazing and they will get you your food quickly.
Have been going here for years and the crab meat ravioli, teriyaki, and Kani salad are always top notch. Visited today with only one hour to spare until last call but the staff were super nice, let us stay past closing and insisted we take our time, no need to rush. We of course got out of there as soon as we finished to let the crew clean up and go home but shout out to the one guy who was completely cool with staying behind and letting the staff go home to let us finish the food. I never want to hold up the employees from leaving especially past closing but this guy was different and we had an awesome conversation. He knows who he is, shout out to him especially for being so selfless and caring for not just the customers but also to his fellow colleagues. Thank you good sir!
All you can eat for $20 lunch and $30 dinner with good quality of sushi is unheard of. Incredible experience
Food was out very fast, and very affordable. Great service, had a great time with friends.
This place is really good. I'm coming here five six times a month and they never disappointing
Best price in Brooklyn and decent sushi in terms of size, taste and freshness. Well, Kani salad could have been better, the crumbs got soaked quickly, weren’t crunchy. Otherwise you get good amount of fish, rolls are well made and don’t fall apart. Delicious! I’ve been ordering from this place for over 3 years now, it’s my go-to sushi place.
The price is great, $25 for dinner and $15 for lunch including tip and tax. The sashimi is delicious here. I tried many sushi buffets, Sake is actually the best. I remember coming here since hs. Their customer service sometimes can be bad but its not terrible. Other than the long waits during busy hours, this is a good place to stop by for lunch. This review would take years to finish if i went through all the good stuff. Theres only a couple of cons for Sake. Most of its spicy anythinh rolls will always be packed with panko, some people like it but i hate it. Also the sea urchin sushi is a bit gross here. Can't really think about anything else bad here.
It was amazing place with unlimited sushi and rolls/hand rolls, during the lunch you pay about 19$ and eat as much as you can, during the dinner you should pay about 27$, your order prepares pretty quickly, all sushi are very tasty, this place is full of people very often, so you should be ready to wait some time
Food was fine but one of the worst service ever. They do not pay attention to what customers want and always in rush. No greeting, not even a “hi” and seemed like they did not care much apart from Receiving the money and rushing for asking us the tip even though we had the worst service.
Sake Sushi is THE place to go for AYCE sushi in Brooklyn. At $14 per person for lunch and $20 for dinner, I don't think you can find any other place that let's you stuff yourself as much as you want at this price. Food is acceptable - don't expect anything high end or gourmet here, the sushi here is about quantity not quality. Be prepared to wait especially during peak hours as this place is always full. Service is acceptable, they get the job done. Space is very very cramped with little leg room and table space. You will also probably be sitting near other people due to their tables all being adjacent to each other. For the price of a meal at McDonald's, I would say it's worthwhile.
My name is Henry and I dined here with three of my other friends: Jia, Philip, and Bill on Saturday, October 23, 2021. We arrived at approximately 9:30PM, leaving us only 30 minutes to eat. However, the manager and waiters continued to serve us way past their hours without any complaint which is something we appreciated deeply. Me and my friends ordered a bit too much, resulting in having to take-out. The manager informed us that we were allowed to take out without having to pay so we thanked them. The exhaust from overeating and lateness of the time caused us to forget paying tips. However, none of us realized we didn't pay tips until after we were heading home. Now, we live quite far from Sake so there's not much we can do except leave them a 5-star review for having good people. We left at 10:40PM
Great sushi for your money, especially at the cost for Lunch. Unlimited sushi, great taste, and very good for group gatherings. Dinner nets you some more special rolls. The waiters are very rushed though, so don't expect anything more than your food arriving at your table. Highly recommended if you're in Brooklyn. However, keep in mind that the place gets incredibly crowded and that you may find yourself cramped for room or sharing a table with other people. Popular hours may have long waiting times as this is definitely one of the most popular sushi places around.
It’s one of the best places for a ton of for cheap as I’m surprised this is the same price as places like Golden Coral with 10 times the quality
Had the buffet, decent selection and good value. Food came out pretty quick.
$22 all you can eat for lunch!! Quality of the food is great. Attached some photos of how nice the plates come out. Very neat and presentable. Left absolutely full. Resturant is small and quiet for lunch. I've seen it packed for dinner. Def worth it. Fyi they will give you the check without asking but I was full already so it was fine.
A true all you can eat experience with a bit of everything and a crazy amount of appetizers. Best part besides the food is the fact that they don't time you so you're not eating in a rush to avoid a penalty. The food was amazing and no hidden fees to eat a special roll which was another plus in it's favor. There was a wait time but we decided to go shopping for some groceries while we waited so it didn't bother us. While it is cramped the food is more then worth it compared to other places that had more space but lackluster food.
I’ve been coming here for almost a year, and it never disappoints. The staff always remembers me and greets me so warmly, which makes every visit special. The sushi is really good— the quality and taste are always the same. If you’re thinking about trying this place, don’t hesitate. For the price, you really can’t find a better deal. Highly recommend!
My first to Sake is around 9 years old, it's always the place my friends and I have a meal. Well, over 8 years we keep going there, u can think about how satisfied and nice they are. Only bad thing for us, we always being stomach ache to go home because we eat too much.😂😂

This is by far my favorite sushi place ever, the prices and quality are honestly amazing and the food is always good. I don’t have a single complaint. But for other people who are ignorant and don’t understand what an all you can eat place means, you have to pay for left over food. It’s common sense for any all you can eat place. The staff are extremely kind and respectful. I recommend this sushi place if you want a nice relaxing meal with friends or family.
5/5 because this is a bensonhurst OG staple spot. people hating are probably new here, this place has been serving affordable and good quality food to the community for probably over 2 decades now. its honestly great value.
Been going to this place for many years now. The staff has an incredible work ethic, the food is consistently at a good level. Lots of options to choose from, not just sushi but other Japanese items as well. Prices have gradually been raised over the years and they have a soft rule of a 1 hour time limit since covid hit, but it's still worth every penny and the food is phenomenal for an all you can eat buffet.
Always amazing. Have been going for over 10 years and never disappointed. Staff is attentive and food is fresh

Great, fresh food. Nice service and overall good experience. Will go there again. Large selection of hot food and sushi.
Best sushi. Cant beat it, my fiancé who doesn't like sushi loved the steak. And the chicken, and fried calamari. This is my favorite sushi place in the country.

Great food and service! Staff is very friendly. \nSometimes there is a wait, but they \nhave a list and call you as soon as possible.

Try the Sake Roll and Shumai - the best combo in the world. I love their sushi although it could be a bit greasy. They need to use less oil. For the price, this is a decent go-to spot for sushi.
Love & hate relationship. Love the AYCE buffet for a good price. Food tastes fresh. Teriyaki salmon is my favorite! Just hate how crowded it gets and you're basically eating directly next to another party. Also, sat next to the sushi counter some times and saw unhygienic practices with workers. But it's OK! With their prices, I will close one eye! Lol
It's all you can eat sushi, which is not common because of the high of the pandemic. Coming around an 8pm weekday, I was told there was 30 minutes to wait for a table but it got cut down to 15 by the time they were ready. FYI: it's about 30$per person and you're given 1 hour for dinner. Each person is given a checklist of the options to order from, and a sushi list detailing what's in the sushi. Since we were a group of 4, we put how many orders of dishes we wanted on 1 paper. The food came out quickly and was super delicious. The multiple rolls/ sashimi were plated, along with the hot food . We didn't have enough table space so we had to finish the food on the table to get rid of empty dishes lol You would think the 1 hour isn't enough, but it was enough with the food ordered.
Sake Sushi was okay. The price for the lunch all you can eat was definitely cheaper compared to most places and there are many options that many other places don’t offer for lunch. They are quite busy so make sure you go there early. To say the least, the sushi was pretty good but the service was a little slow considering they only give you an hour limit
The food awesome😆😆 but the wait was horrible there was 2 tables but we had to wait and people even left because it took forever and you have to write your name and number it looked decent
Definitely an interesting restaurant. Their sushi is very good if that’s all you care about, sushi comes at a great price. Definitely worth the money. Only but is the atmosphere isn’t really there.
I've been coming to Sake for at least 10 years. It used to be around 12 bucks for lunch. These days, you can expect to pay 20 bucks before tax and tip. Not too bad for all you can eat sushi in the area. I do believe it's the only one in the bensonhurst/Gravesend neighborhood. For like 25 bucks after tax and tip, I get my fair share of cheap sushi. Don't come here expecting omakase level raw fish. It's a more affordable go-to for the raw fish cravings. Sometimes the rice may get to you, but it's all part of the experience. I like the salmon nigiri. The tuna is alright, but the salmon will always be better. I like their cooked foods like the teriyaki salmon. The dinner price is more expensive, I think 28 bucks before tax tip. I think lunch is definitely more worth it. Thanks.
I’ve ordered from Sake Restaurant several times and they never disappoint. Everything is always super fresh, arrives quickly, and tastes great. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. The rolls are consistently delicious, and the miso soup is a favorite. Definitely my go-to for sushi delivery! Update: The sushi here is decent, fresh fish, good rice texture, and the rolls are neatly put together. The rolls were solid, and the shumai were soft and flavorful. Overall, not bad at all for takeout. That said, the portions of ginger and soy sauce keep getting smaller, which makes it a bit inconvenient if you like using condiments. A little more generosity there would make a big difference. Still, it’s a reliable spot for a casual sushi fix when you want something quick and fresh.
The food is actually great. My wife loves loves loves the spicy tuna roll and the Kani Salad. I’m not a sushi fan but I really do like the steak. Unfortunately the steak was really really cold when they brought it to me. It’s usually hot, not sure what happened. The rice is really good as well, very authentic. The service is usually good but it does always seem like they are rushing you out, even though it wasn’t busy. Little too much ginger dressing on the green salad. We always need a bigger table, it’s really annoying sometimes.
All you can eat sushi for $12.95 lunch and $19.95 dinner. Came here for lunch and it’s great value for money. Shop is tiny and there’s plenty of people so expect to wait an hour - no bookings either. Two hour sessions. Food was pretty good, especially for the price paid. However, they were very very slow with the food and missed a lot of our orders.

Pretty good food for the price.
I used to go here a lot, especially when I used to live in the neighborhood. I visited today for the first time since the Pandemic started, and I gotta say, the quality has DROPPED. A lot of the appetizers are now soups, and the portions are more or less the same, but just SUPER SMALL in shape. It's disappointing. I know a lot of businesses are hurting because of the pandemic, but the quality definitely is suffering. You also have to wait at least 1 hour to be seated because they only let 35% of customers to sit. A lot of empty tables, which was quite contrary to how it used to be. My food came quick, which was nice. But, overall, it is a let down for me. You can always come and try for yourself, but don't set your expectations too high. Definitely a one-time experience now. Probably won't be back unfortunately.. Paid over $60+ and I think I could've had a better time at a pizzaria.
It used to be my favorite sushi spot. For all you can eat it's not that bad, but with all the quality omakase spots out there it's hard to justify eating this sushi. That being said if you are just craving unlimited sushi this might be the spot for you. The price has gone up and isn't reflected in their banner. I actually quite like their appetizers over the sushi. The Kani salad, fried oysters, and teriyaki are pretty good. The cheese ravioli is also worth a try. For the sushi, salmon and eel is pretty good. Lunch and dinner prices are different, dinner comes with a sashimi plate, make sure you get that as it's the best sushi quality they have.
I used to come here once a month or so years ago when I lived close by. Decided to come by again recently and the atmosphere, food wasn’t the same as it used to be. I might have went on a busier than usual day so that might be the reason. Hoping I can give them another try again.
I’m a regular here. Prices are great but it’s a hit or miss with the freshness of their fish, especially if you order take out. Today happen to be a bad miss. The tuna on my spicy girl roll was grey colored and had weird dark spots on it. I’m pretty sure fresh tuna would be a brighter red color. I would hate for them to sell bad fish going forward. I would be more than happy to update this review if they can stay consistently fresh.
For the price it is you get what you get. Food is not good, food is not bad. However one thing that is horrible is their chicken stirfry udon. It is so gross so flavorless just so bland it straight up look like they boiled the noodle boiled the chicken and just put it on a plate. Atmosphere is also not great because it is right under the train tracks, but that is inevitable. The sushi is good. I’ve had better. Like i said for the price it is, you get what you get.
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. Tables are available for dining in with servers. They offer an "all you can eat" special everyday for lunch between 11:00 AM-3:30 PM and dinner between 11:00 AM-10:00 PM. Soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, sushi and party trays are served. I ordered miso soup, shumai, an eel avocado roll, sushi deluxe and sashimi deluxe. The food was average in flavor and taste. The prices are less than other similar establishments. Friendly and helpful staff.
We get everyday at this place and they have really good sushi, but its not the first time that the chef sometimes doesn’t pay attention to what he gives to people and how he gives some stuff. For example the sushis today were all open and it was very hard to eat them so they just fell around everywhere.
The place is good. The fish is fresh. However, some of the appetizers have no flavor, and the shumai has a funky taste. The sushi is good, however, which is the most important part. The service is good and the place is decently clean. They bring out food and dishes pretty fast. Overall, I would come back, but I would take this place over any other place. This place isn't great but isn't bad by any means.
Long wait time but once you sit and order food comes really quick! Good AYCE for decent food.
long wait time but once you sit and order food comes really quick! Good AYCE for decent food.
Fair price. Extremely questionable fish with a lot of cucumber filler. Probably one of the worst sushi dining experiences I have ever had based on the quality of fish alone. Service was good though. Will not be going back.
Food is ok but service is bad. They give u attitude and sashimi is not all u can eat only one order per person
Decent place, always crowded & rushed. Last experience on Saturday, 6 August, 2022 was the worse. While eating a sushi, my girlfriend choked and observed a plastic in her sushi. Prior to this, we were being rushed to leave the restaurant due to a ridiculous “hour time limit”. While reporting this incident to a waitress, we were told that the plastic is placed on the sushi to “hold it together”, which is just absurd. If it’s not eatable, why is it in the food? Refund was offered for her meal upon the Manager’s approval.
Food was mediocre and not really high quality. Can’t expect much from an all you can eat. Service was not the best but at least the sushi came out quick.
I have always recommended this place to others in the past for all you can eat sushi, but not anymore. The quality of the food, ingredients and service has steeply declined recently. Servers does not look enthusiastic to serve and food comes either wrong or missing. Sushi and sashimi are not fresh at all, plates are dented and full of spots when served, the more you order food the more servers will give you a dirty look as if they are saying enough is enough already.
The food is good, used to come here often. The girls at the front are nice, but the guy… You’ll lose all your regular customers with the way he treats them. Regardless of dining in or ordering for pick up, “no hi, no bye”, always rushing, always tense, even when they have no people. We get that it’s not a restaurant and the place has its own rules, but still you are SERVING people, so do your job. Feels like we come home to his place and eat of his food every time. Very upsetting!
I have been having dinner in this restaurant since 2012, but this is my last time here! I had a dinner here and order sea urchins sushi, I realized it was spoiled once I had a bite. So I decided to tell the waiter secretly and I’m not mean to causing any trouble! I told him the sea urchins tasted so spoiled, it was bitter and sour! The old guy ( maybe a food runner) yelled and said “ just leave it there if you don’t want to have it!!! We will take it back once you finish the others on your plate!” I was so angry and shocked. Don’t him realize his food is spoiled? And this is a huge problem for a restaurant? So I left and reported to 311 and let’s see how it gonna end up!
I almost threw up and caught a flu from eating their Uni. Worst quality of Uni and mackerel i’ve ever had. Im sorry..
Really bad… The food quality is nowhere near how it was 2 years ago. 2 hours after dinning in, my friends and I all got really bad stomachaches. Also, by the time when I ask for the check, the lady at the counter yelled that there’s a mandatory 20% tip must pay upfront in a very rude way. I don’t know what happened to her that day, but the mood she reflected was like I have done something wrong.
It's the worst service ever!! I knew it was almost time for closing, and she informed me, still I chose to stay and eat quickly. As I am trying to place my order quickly, the front lady keeps telling me to hurry and that I have to order quickly. I said ok. She said I could order 2x. I started to order again as I took my first bite and the lady watched me and says ok ok gimme and snatches it away." The only nice one there was the boy serving the food and drinks. I ate super fast under 30 min for $136. When i went to pay the bill, she saw i didn't leave a tip on the card, so she talked crap to her friend, saying I told you she wasn't leaving anything. But when I took out cash she was my best friend. Then she saw I wasn't leaving it on the table, she proceeded to come snatche my plate and says ok your done!" So I walked over to the boy serving and said thank you. I hope you don't have to split this with them. It was completely rude and uncalled for. They wanted last min money instead of a client that would have come in very often. They should have said no, we are closed even if I intended to eat fast. 0 stars!!!
shitty sushi, tuna wasn’t fresh, forced my friends and i into eating stuff because they were going to “charge us” for any left over food. Got our order wrong every single time. If you want enjoyable sushi, don’t come here.
Looks the tuna, big worm inside,I pointed to the server, the serve ask the boss lady come to our table and she told me that is normal. I am wondering the boss lady ate that every meal and every day, fell like ridiculous. The boss just take out that piece and switch to another piece looks like the same and very dry too.Be careful of sushi/sashimi. Definitely won’t be back again.
The food was good however, very bad treatment of customers. You will be yelled at, forced to leave a tip after really bad service and treatment, forced to pay for leftover food. This place was good but it seems new management took over. The guy in the pic is a lunatic. If you have some pride and dignity, don’t come here
