Amazing food. Chicken teriyaki was some of the softest I’ve ever had. Grilled shrimp and roti canai delicious. Stir fry ramen perfectly cooked. Sushi is great too. Nice atmosphere, friendly owner and cute decor. All around an amazing restaurant to go if you’re in the area!

Delicious roasted meats. Got a char siu chicken rice and it was great - the best I’ve had in this area so far. Unfortunately the roast pig was sold out when I went so will have to try it next time.

Amazing roast pig and duck. Rice rolls are also great. Would also recommend the Peking pork chop (gingdo gwat), congee and the hot drinks during breakfast. If you are having a party I highly recommend the suckling piglet. It’s the best you can get.

Iin the morning for breakfast, I buy the char Siu wide noodles and sometime the congee. They recently moved about two or three stores down. Now their store are local at a corner and the store is bigger. They have waiter or waitress to serve customers.

Bustling restaurant with quick order pick up. Crew cranks things out in polite fashion vs the pushy crowds. Lunch orders are reliably savory and super competitively priced. I will stick with the rice and porridge dishes, roast meats were ok, there are other places to get from. They take card too, you cover the fee.

Our go to place for beef or century egg congee. Wonderful steamed rice rolls, fresh and great texture. Roast pork and chicken are excellent. Really like the staff.

"New" Carnation Restaurant. I started going when it was the "original" Carnation Restaurant. What drew me in were the crowds of people, Asian mothers buying the roast meats(pig pork, duck) to serve at home with their dinners, commercial drivers picking up a lunch, neighborhood people in search of a meal... This is a popular, often crowded restaurant with lines of people. It is so worth it!! It's a no-frills restaurant with authentic and affordable dishes, not like so many of the Chinese-American restaurants that add more sugar, salt, oils, and sauces to create unhealthy dishes. The food here is fresh and cooked conscientiously for flavor, not profit. I especially love their roast meats, especially duck and char siu, and I always get their amazing ginger sauce on the side. I love congee, such a comfort food, and they make the best congee, hands down! Believe me theirs is the best, and I've tried many, many places for congee. Also, their rice rolls are made fresh upon order, I always order the shrimp, and again it is the absolute best! You can't even begin to compare their light, fresh rice rolls to the pre-made ones most bakeries serve - it's such a vast diffrence. Finally. As a non -Asian, I get different experiences with service depending where I go, but here, even though it's intimidating with so many Asians speaking their language in this crowded, busy, chaotic restaurant, the customer service is impeccable: friendly, quick, and they are truly delighted I appreciate their cuisine. Nothing but smiles and good will, along with the most wonderful food. Go try their dishes, you'll thank me!

I have become a regular! My favorite to go food is their rice rolls. They make it fresh and tasty with side of soy sauce! If I dine in their roast pork and roast pig is so tasty! This place is actually pretty good. I normally stay away from fusion restaurants due to inability to manage such a large menu. I figured everything would just taste mediocre but I was wrong.

Had the beef Chow Fun and salted fish eggplant chicken over rice. Tasty, generous portions and relatively cheap compared to other Cantonese restaurants on 86th st. Their beef congee and beef rice rolls are also really good. Congee texture on point, good amount of beef and seasoned just right.

First time here and it's clean and airy space. Beef chow fun is very good and hot. Its low price compare to $16-$20 at other restaurants. Definitely will come back for other dishes and bbq meat.

This may be subjective, but what review isn't? I tend to hesitate to go to these fusion restaurants because it tells me that there isn't one particular thing that they are good at. It's not a Thai restaurant, it's not a Chinese restaurant, it's not a Vietnamese restaurant, and it's not a Japanese restaurant. Diversity and range is usually a good thing. it means anyone will be able to find something that they will like. If you have a party that can't decide on what to eat. A fusion restaurant like this is an awesome choice. The food is good. But it's not amazing.

There tri color sashimi is very expensive and the sashimi pcs aren’t even big. Its 26.95 plus it cost $4 extra to change to a different roll. On their online menu it said 22.95 tho and when I called the woman just said we forgot to update the price on there but that’s there fault not mine. I decided to give them another chance and ordered again and again I was dissatisfied with some things. I got the oyster shot and a few other items. The oyster shot didn’t come with a whole oyster it was just a small pc of the oyster in each container(there were 3 in total). Most places I ordered from it came with a whole oyster because the oyster shot is very expensive. Anyways I wouldn’t really recommend this place because they are expensive and their quality isn’t even that great. The only items that I felt were good and worth the price here was there regular rolls like the spicy tuna one and thai tea and tom yum soup. The other one were just very overpriced and not even that good

One of the most famous restauranteurs in the world, Gordon Ramsay, said that if a restaurant's menu is over two pages long, it's not a good restaurant. Another red flag is if there's no tight, coherent focus on what type of food a restaurant specializes in, which he dubs "fusion confusion". So I guess it was my fault for forgetting these golden rules when I decided to order delivery from Sedapsss Fusion Cuisine, whose menu has everything ranging from Malaysian, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. What I paid for was not representative of what I tasted. In short, it was a horribly mediocre experience that was not worth the price. Char Kuey Teow - This is my go-to order in any Malaysian restaurant. It's a broad rice noodle dish, stir-fried with delicious sauces that normally make me drool while eating it because of the aroma and umami. Not the one from Sedapsss. I don't know what they did with their sauce, but this tasted like there was rancid peanut oil in there. Otherwise, it was bland beyond bland, and even the color was pale and sad. 1/5 Seafood Thai Pineapple Fried Rice: Also one of my favorite orders from Malaysian restaurants, because of the sweet mix of tangy pineapple with the slightly spicy stir-fried rice. Again, Sedapsss failed to deliver. There was barely any pineapple, the rice was almost as white as freshly fallen snow, and didn't taste like anything similar to experiences I've had from other Malaysian restaurants. Come on, even I can make better fried rice than this. 2/5 Roti Canai: Yet another favorite item of mine, which I always get when I eat at Malaysian restaurants. The roti Sedapsss had was appropriately flaky, but it was very small. The curry dipping sauce was bland beyond belief and didn't taste like curry at all. Still, it was the least offensive of the items I tried from here. 2.5/5 Mee Siam with Peanut: This was completely flavorless, with the rice noodles being white as snow again. There were occasional hints of citrus, but otherwise, tasted like regular mee siam without any seasoning whatsoever. 2/5 Pad Thai with Peanut: The absolute worst dish of them all. It tasted faintly of rancid peanut oil and smelled like burnt gas, I have no idea what the cooks at Sedapsss did to this dish. Granted, no one had a tummy ache after the meal, but this was borderline inedible and very unappetizing. 0/5 It could be that the Sedapsss chefs were having an off day that day that I ordered the food, but it's appalling that every single thing that I received did not taste good. The best being bland, the worst being offensively disgusting in smell and taste, I wouldn't be eager to order from here again. There's so many other options to choose from, and I'd rather not risk repeating such a bad experience.

Came here for dinner with my husband, and we were really disappointed. The food was so tasteless. There was no salt no seasonings, nothing. It felt like I was chewing on paper. When the waiter asked how our food was? We told her it had zero taste. Instead of saying let me get you something else. She said “ I am sorry” and started talking Chinese to her co worker. Def not the place to go if you looking for an Asian fusion cuisine. Will never come here again!!

I Went for dinner with my girlfriend and her mother for Mother’s Day, the salmon salad was very salty and the tuna In the sushi did not taste fresh. So why one star? The service. The waiter came up and when we told her to take the unfinished salad away she had a nasty attitude and said in Cantonese “you’re really not going to finish that?” I’ve never had a waiter be that rude to me nor to any customer. This is the last time I will ever visit.
