Delicious Thai food. Flavors are well balanced and Entrees were well presented. The drinks were also a highlight of the experience as they were crafted with care and tasted amazing.

NYC has no shortage of amazing restaurants, but I can honestly say that Sukh is near the top. This place is incredible. The restaurant is beautiful and the vibes are amazing. The soups are delicious and the rice dishes and traditional Thai are blended with a fresh fusion that you can’t really find anywhere else. The green chicken curry is incredible as well as anything with the crab.

This place gets very busy so I recommend reservations. I’ve been very fortunate to have Paul to serve me. The service and food were very very very good. We really loved my noodles was tasty, and my husband’s meal was quite spicy, even at a level one. We would definitely go back for dinner here again, which ultimately is the highest praise you can pay a restaurant!

Great Vegetarian options and great service! A friend who’s been here before and we both tried different menus items from the winter special. Tony was really helpful ✨ Sukh has such an authentic style, def will be back

The food at Sukh was delectable and provides a touch of each region in Thailand. The theme of the train is on par with the vision of the restaurant to bring everyone an experience of all of Thailand. I highly recommend the chive pancakes which give you both a sweet and savory taste with the lime along with softness and crunch.

SUKH Thai is absolutely worth it. One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve had in NYC in a very long time. If you are looking for authentic, from the heart, retro-upscale Thai dining then this is the place. Pyo, our server was great and the overall staff were attentive and made the experience wholesome. SUKH Thai lives up to its name!

We ordered three dishes and everything was amazing! The service was really good and the food came out fast. Jake was really helpful and provided us great service! The vibe of the restaurant was really cool and cozy.

The pumpkin curry has a good variety of veggies. It is creamy and goes well with crispy duck(add-on). I would also recommend stir-fried jackfruit with grounded pork, a special appetizer, I did't really taste the fruit, but I like that it comes with some fresh greens and crispy pork skin on the side. The fried branzino was crispy and dry(in a good way), with lots of fried herbs on top, but I am not a fan of this specific fish. The sauce in papaya salad was a bit heavy and sweet for me, I'd like the dish more sour. Don't forget to order the must Pad Thai, and the coconut ice cream bread was a complimentary dessert for Mother's Day.🥰

T

Delicious khao soi and khao pad mun neur! The latter was a little too spicy for my taste, but delicious. Just make sure you ask for mild spice if you are sensitive, like me. 😃 The taro custard dessert was the highlight of the meal. Great crunch and sweetness.

Lovey food, drinks, and vibes. The bartender was very sensitive to my allergies, which I really appreciated! I felt taken care of and would 10/10 recommend. Robert and Jessica are the best!

As a Thai person who grew up with Thai food, I’m so impressed by how authentic the flavors are. My favorite has to be Hor Mok, which I believe is their best-seller. I love how they served it in small bites on a traditional tray, cute and perfect for sharing. The spice level of the dishes is exactly how you’d experience it in Thailand. I-Tim Krati Boran (coconut ice cream with golden egg yolk threads) is always be the perfect summer dessert to wrap up the meal in Thai way, leaving the perfect balance of sweetness and refreshment. Their Thai tea has a good balance of tea base, spices and sweetness. Also thank you to the lovely and kind staff for the excellent service. 🧡

I went here for Valentine's Day with my partner and we were rewarded with a wonderful atmosphere. The wait staff were very attentive and very bubbly-- I love people who love their jobs! The food came out very quickly and was so good. We got the khao soi and the short rib panang curry. Both dishes were excellent, so so so so good! The Thai teas were also to die for. Highly recommend and absolutely will be returning next time I'm in the area!

I was so impressed by the hidden gems here. The stir-fried coconut (Ma Praw Kua Gluer) was unexpectedly chewy and flavorful—nothing like I’ve had before. The crab fried rice (Khao Ka-Yum Poo) was loaded with crab meat and herbs, rich and delicious. The staff really know how to recommend dishes you wouldn’t think to order, and I loved the warm culture when they greeted each guest with “welcome on board.” Definitely one of the best Thai spots I’ve tried in Brooklyn😌

Delicious food, and incredible aesthetics! Excellent crab and duck, the dumplings were incredible. Nice spice level. Good service from Pyo. One point of feedback or flag is that the cocktail was super sweet.

One of my favorite places to eat in NYC. The food is consistently excellent and the staff is so warm and friendly. If you walk in, make sure to sit at the bar where Jessica makes wonderful drinks and is super attentive.

food is really good and the service as well! Tony is very helpful and kind as a waiter! Crab fried rice is soft and flavorful as well as the papaya salad. Ask for mildly spicy!

Sukh in Brooklyn is an absolute gem! First off, the atmosphere is fun, feels like a homestyle modern diner twist. Their summer special menu is incredible — every dish feels fresh and thoughtfully made. I especially loved the curry samosas — the texture was perfectly crisp, and dipping them in the sauce brought out such amazing flavor. The Sukh Pad Thai was another standout — the noodles were perfectly stir-fried with an amazing bounce and depth of flavor. And for dessert, the coconut ice cream with sticky rice served in a bread boat was not only delicious but also such a fun and unique treat to eat. Definitely take the trip out to Brooklyn to check it out!

This place is a must try!! Very authentic Thai restaurant with unique dishes. The interior was amazing - it’s like a vintage train cart. Paul, my server, was very hospitable and patient. He answered all my questions about the menu and was super quick! Also checked in a lot and made sure everything was good.

The apps are amazing and the portions are solid. Atmosphere is super cool - it’s giving me were on a train going through Thailand. Music is chill and jazzy and not obnoxious also. Really cool date spot! Might be my favorite Thai spot now

We came around 5pm with a reservation and it started to get packed really quick so def make a resy! Jessica our server was really nice. The khao soi was really good and the panang curry was so tender. Would recommend 10/10

Got the Sukh salad and the Khao soi. Khao soi is a bit on the spicy side but it’s probably the closest I’ve found to ones I had in Chiang Mai. Sukh salad is simple but really fresh and the dressing is a good sweet/sour mix. And Jessica is great!

I love everything here! Cherry was our server and super attentive. I had the gor gluay, kapraw moo, gai tod nam pla, and the Thai iced tea ofc. I do suggest sitting indoors because it’s getting chilly out here. Definitely check it out if you get the chance ;)

5/5 Vibes 5/5 Food in Fort Greene I had one of the better Thai meals I’ve had in recent memory here, everything was solid and very flavorful. I especially enjoyed the Pla Tod Samun Prai (fried deboned Branzino with chili like and fish sauce), Tom Khanun (spicy jackfruit with pork rinds), and the coconut crab curry. Would definitely recommend ordering all 3, the flavors for the dishes were incredible. Bonus points for the interior which is designed like a cute train car, and the friendly service.

I went here for Sunday brunch and it was packed! I definitely recommend making a reservation instead of just walking in. I tried their summer specials and honestly, it was the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. The dishes were not only delicious but also super photogenic. The highlight for me was the grilled chicken served on a charcoal grill: an absolute must-try! It’s one of those dishes that everyone at the table will enjoy. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for amazing Thai food with a fun experience!

Definitely my favorite Thai place!! The food is SO good, reasonable prices, and just the friendliest staff. Been here multiple times and each time is amazing! For best experience, highly recommend making reservation in advance for dinner as this place is usually packed. Walk in is fine during lunch but might be long wait for dinner time.

SUKH very good restaurant. Food - Overall the food tasted absolutely delicious. I have gone here twice the first time was best and the second time the seasonal menu was good but not as good as the last time. Still the food tasted phenomenal. Prices are a bit pricey but not crazy so it is good as a special treat. Service - Service was great staff and servers are friendly. Food came fairly fast and the drinks tasted very good. Atmosphere - I loved the decorations of the restaurant. They looked awesome and did not feel like too much. It can get quite busy as the restaurant is very popular. Additionally, because the restaurant is so popular it can be a bit hard to get in so I would recommend getting a reservation. Overall - great food, good service, atmosphere is pretty fire. Can be hard to get in book a reservation.

Just had my meal at SUKH and was blown away by the flavours, variety of dishes and portion size! Tried a few new dishes I’ve never had before like the jackfruit curry and steamed egg hor mok dish. Really enjoyed the short rib curry and again- portions are ginormous! Definitely get the summer special dessert too if you have space, the sticky rice inside is so good 🤤 we were served by Paul who was so friendly and helped us pick out which dishes to try on the menu! Couldn’t recommend this spot enough ✨

Favorite Thai spot in NYC. Khao Hor Bai Bua is a standout from the entrees, and the Pad Thai is excellent. If your spice tolerance is low make sure you ask for mild. Cocktails are all first class, you can’t miss. Get a booth if you can, they add a nice diner feel to the experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Sukh and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Thai food. I loved the atmosphere and the concept of the restaurant being an old school railway car. I was blown away by the burst of flavors and quality of the dishes. I ordered two items from their winter menu: mackerel in spicy lemongrass tomato sauce (yum pla kapong) and beef fried rice (khao pad mun neur) both of which were incredible, warning though the mackerel dish was on the spicier side, but perfect for the Asian palate. I also ordered the classics, tom yum soup and kee mow both of which contained such a generous portion of shrimp and vegetables. I finished off the meal with Thai coconut balls (khanom tom) with coconut ice cream which was a perfect “not too sweet” dessert. Phenomenal service from the waiters who were so kind and welcoming.

We ordered takeout from Sukh for a nicer meal at home, and it was absolutely perfect. It arrived quickly and was such an impressive meal. All their dishes are so flavorful, but the short rib Penang curry and crab fried rice were particularly delicious.

Update 11/9/2025: Came back to Sukh and received excellent service from Jessica. Tried the Har Mok this time and really enjoyed the multiple proteins as well as the flavors. The Thai iced tea and the crab fried rice were excellent as usual. We tried the Pak Mor for the first time and we really enjoyed it; definitely recommend! Excellent service from Paul! The food was amazing as always and will continue to come back. My favorite was the crab fried rice and the taro custard. Would

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ SUKH is such a gem in Fort Greene! The flavors are bold, comforting, and beautifully presented — truly feels like a journey through modern Thai cuisine. Unique lunch/dinner spot with incredible ambience and bold dishes! We made a reservation in advance, and ordered based on our server’s specific recommendations. The presentation was beautiful, and the food itself was superb! The noise/light level was perfect for having conversation - great spot to catch up with friends and try something out of the box!

R

One of a kind atmosphere, the restaurant is themed as an old time train car and the food lives up to this high standard. The must try is the Hor Mok appetizer, a kind of crab cake custard that is eaten in one bite. It had a delicious creamy texture with a nice, slightly sweet taste. For the main I got the Larb Nurh, which is an extremely spicy ground beef mixed with some other herbs. This is eaten in lettuce wrap leafs with other vegetables and was tasty

C

Been coming here since they opened, hands down my favourite Thai restaurant in New York. Our server Pyo was fantastic, service here is always great. We ordered the panang nuer (my favourite) and khao soi. Both were phenomenal. If I had to say anything I wish there was more curry to balance the beef in the panang nuer, it tastes so so good!

My partner and I walked in at 9:10pm without a reservation and were told it would be a 10 minute wait but only ended up being maybe 5 minutes! The staff are very nice and attentive. The food is carefully crafted and made with much attention and care. Our server Tony was very friendly and helpful to us. Not to mention the great booth seating in such a cute restaurant! ☺️❤️

S

Once you walk in, you are greater to warn retro train interiors. The space is smaller than expected but it feels cozy. We came on a busy Friday night with no reservations. Though I do suggest getting reservations ahead of time. The food is very tasty and better than most Thai restaurants I’ve tried. Highly recommend the Hor Mok (crab custard appetizer) and the curries ( I personally advocate or the short ribs curry).

If you’re looking for an intimate atmosphere with intriguing decor and excellent Thai cuisine Sukh is the place for you. Between the food, ambience, and service everything was 100/10! I highly recommend this place for any and every occasion. Don’t walk here, run!

We ordered the Hor Mok as an appetizer. It was so innovative with the steamed branzino curry custard. We also ordered Khao Tom Haeng, which was the crispy pork belly rice. Loved it. Service was also good from Pyo :) One of my favorite Thai restaurants in New York.

Everything was 10/10, the service, the space, the food was really special. Split a few different things with a friend which was fun. We loved the Hor Mok (a Thai fish custard)..they were so flavorful I’ve never had anything like it. Great cocktails too!!

KJ was an excellent host. My little sister chose this spot for her bday dinner and it might be new because it’s not on my radar (Thai food lover) but it was fab. The decor was chic, food smelled lovely on arrival so I was settled. It is a bit loud because it was completely packed and a good place to relax but perhaps not have intimate convo. I loved everything. The Halloween special spaghetti kee mao was a standout. The Thai ice tea tasted like chatramue (iykyk!) and again the service was so good. KJ recommended really great dishes and I liked eating out of the summer and regular menu. If they had private rooms, I’d have my birthday dinner here, that’s how good the food and decor is. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back

This ambiance is so cute & the food presentation is amazing. Tony was a great server! The Hor Mok is nothing like I’ve ever had before & it was incredible. Sukh lives up to the hype. I started with the Hor Mok, a dine in only steamed branzino curry custard topped with jumbo lump crab, kaffir lime leaves, red chili, and coconut milk. The flavors were well balanced, with the spice coming through most in this dish. While I enjoyed it, I would not recommend it for anyone sensitive to certain textures. For my main, I had the winter special Khao Pad Mun Neur. The beef fat fried rice was rich and savory, made with Thai shrimp paste, garlic, scallions, pickled onions, and topped with a soy cured egg yolk and tender grilled marinated beef. This dish was more indulgent than spicy. I also had a gin based passionfruit cocktail that was well crafted and complemented the meal nicely. Overall, Sukh delivers on its strong reputation with flavorful, thoughtfully prepared dishes.

We just found our new favorite Thai restaurant in Brooklyn. This spot is a must try and offers so many dishes that are bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The interior is really nice and is modeled after a vintage train car which offers a cool and laid back vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and they are great for pointing you towards dishes that you’ll like, especially if you’re not familiar with them. Some of our favorite dishes were the Tom Yum soup, Hor Mok, Khao Tom Haeng and the crab fried rice. Also, dessert is something you can’t skip here. We tried a sticky rice bun that’s topped with a decadent coconut milk ice cream and toasted peanuts. It was literally the best dessert we’ve had this year.

I’ve been to Sukh twice now and they’ve blown me away both times. The fried rice was AMAZING. I thought their dessert was mind blowing. Everything tasted fresh and high quality and the inside decor was adorable- like inside a train!! Loved my experience and definitely will be back.

This experience is phenomenal. The food takes your taste buds on a culinary journey that’s unlike any other. My partner and I went here and were blown away by the quality of the food, the kindness and speed of the service and the overall atmosphere. Great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. I highly recommend a reservation since seats go fast and if you are concerned bout outside seat note that it’s basically inside and is heated well.

We ordered the famous appetizer, the duck, tom yum soup and fried rice. The appetizer was so comforting that it reminds me of home, with hint of spiciness it was delicious. The portions of the entree are quite big so I would say it’s a good place to do family style and try different things. Ambience was lovely.

Such a good experience! Their winter special (vegetable dish and steak) was soo good and will come back for their ribs summer special. Their signature hor mok was also so gas (the texture was soft but the toppings were savory such a fire combo omg) and the interior was super nice too :) Yummy meal!

Came back to Sukh Brooklyn for the second time because we genuinely loved it the first visit and it did not disappoint. The Thai food here feels really special and different from typical spots. The khao hor bai bua is an absolute must order, super unique, flavorful, and memorable. We also highly recommend the hor mok appetizer, which was rich, fragrant, and perfectly done. The gai tod tod man pla were very good, it’s a special chicken wings with taste of garlic. We also tried a winter special, a steak with rice dish, and it was delicious. TJ who served us was really sweet and made the experience even nicer. The atmosphere is great for a cute little date night. Cozy, stylish, and a really nice place to enjoy drinks in a relaxed vibe. Definitely a place we will keep coming back to.

This might be the best Thai food I’ve had in NYC so far. For appetizers, we got the hor mok, the stir fried gor guay, and the ma praw kua gluer. I’ve never had something like the hor mok before - presentation was absolutely stunning and flavor was also delicious, it was so juicy inside. Everyone at the table loved the stir fried gor guay. Flavor profile kinda reminded me a bit like that of pad Thai but with the chive pancakes, it was a different flavor combo or sweet sour and savory. The khao pad min neur on the winter menu was absolutely phenomenal. The steak was so tender and sweeter in flavor which paired well with the savoriness of the rice. If you get this, you need to try a bite with everything on it (the steak, the rice, the egg yolk, and the pickled garlic) - this will actually blow your mind with the contrast in flavor. The branzino with the two sauces drizzled on top also amazing. What I loved so much about the food here is how perfectly they fuse together different flavor profiles to make each ingredient in the dish stand out. If you’re a big coconut fan, you need to try the khanom tom dessert on their winter menu. The service was amazing, the interior was beautiful- it’s modeled a railroad train car. Overall, one of best (actually it be THE best) Thai foods in NYC.

Im so happy my friend and I randomly stumbled upon this place. The food is incredible but the vibe is what really gives it a 5 star in my book!!! Its so chic and aesthetic. Our server Jessica was also really nice and gave excellent recommendations! Can’t wait to come back 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Then you will not be disappointed. For the food, the food that tastes delicious and flawlessly delicious. It is the original taste of Thai food, including the model. The raw materials used are specially of high quality. It is definitely suitable for the price you have paid. The staff is smiling and paying attention to details. And you will be amazed with the special food that the restaurant offers in every season. Of course, I will come back to eat here and it is another restaurant in Brooklyn and in New York that is the top that will not disappoint you for sure.

This place is amazing for Thai food. We started off with the papaya salad which was refreshing. The Khao Tom Haeng was excellent, the mixture of all meats (pork belly, Chinese sausage, minced pork & shrimp) were all delicious. The Gaeng Hung Lay Nuar was super tender and flavorful. The stewed beef in curry was so soft and was excellent when paired with the rice. The last dish, Pla Tod Samun Prai which is a fried branzino with lots of herbs and spices. It was super soft and flaky and the herbs, onions and garlic and other items went so well with it. Probably one of our favorite dishes of the night. The staff was super nice and very attentive. The table we had was small but it managed to fit everything! There's seating inside and a canopy for outside seating. You can make reservations ahead of time. The atmosphere is great and lively and a very busy come popular dining times.

Lovely Thai spot in Fort Greene right off the G train. I mention that because the interior is modeled after an old locomotive carriage, it’s cute as hell. Really well executed Thai food with good to great dishes. The steamed branzino custard was delicious and interesting and we really enjoyed the larb nurh. They aren’t joking with the spice warnings FYI. The service is top notch and kept our water full while we labored through the overestimation of our Thai spice tolerance. Overall really enjoyed, Sukh and think it deserves the praise. If your looking for elevated Thai that explores all the region of Thailand, highly recommend Sukh!

Stumbled upon this restaurant through black bird, the ambiance is so adorable it’s almost like you walk into a train! We ordered the samosas and steak fried rice February special. The food is phenomenal, samosas were light and flaky while the steak was tender and seasoned perfectly. The Thai iced tea and pandas mojito mocktail were a nice addition. Will definitely be coming back! Looks like there’s yummy vegan and gluten free options as well!

Thai on a Train experience, the atmosphere was wonderful and romantic. Lots of 50s songs and jazz playing. Service was amazing and faster than I expected, and the food was exquisite. I ordered the shrimp Kee Maow ($22), Jack's Kiss (limited time drink, $19), and the I-Tim Ruam Mitr (limited time desert, $14). The Kee Maow had the perfect level of heat and complimented the Jack's Kiss (Whiskey+honey+more) perfectly. The coconut ice cream desert is absolutely addicting as well, and I would definitely order it again if I had the money to spare. 10/10, highly recommend, definitely coming back again

This is probably one of my go to Thai spots now in Brooklyn. All three apps were amazing. The fried tofu is also underrated. Service was excellent. Our server KJ was incredibly nice and so sweet! And the vibes are SO cute.

We had an excellent experience here. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with authentic flavors that felt elevated yet still very reasonably priced. The balance of quality and value really stood out. Service was just as impressive. Our waiter, Tony, was friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. He offered thoughtful recommendations and made the entire meal feel welcoming and seamless.

Loved dinner here! Came on a Saturday , they were packed but they offered us a seat at the bar and then quickly to the table! TJ was the sweetest. She was so attentive, kind, never left us waiting! Food was delicious. Ambiance was great. I will be coming back.

The weather was nice today, so I took my dog out for a walk and coffee. Later in the evening I walked into Sukh for dinner without a reservation. The host and staff were very welcoming and kindly seated both us and my dog inside. I highly recommend the fried chicken wings and the spicy Yum Pla Kapong. For mains, the Leng Zaab, Northern-style Larb, and especially the beef fat fried rice with marinated egg yolk were excellent. I love this so much. We ended the meal with dessert kanom tom with coconut ice cream. It was so good that I had to order another one to take home and The bartender also recommended a drink that paired perfectly with the meal. This is the great spot in Fulton for dog owners and pets friendly too they even brought water for my dog 🤍 Thanks to the host, server Chase and PP for the warm service. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.

First time eating at Sukh and the experience was amazing. Tony took great care of us, I tried the Khao Pad Mun Neur (medium spice cause I’m still training the palette), and my girlfriend tried the Kang Keaw wan (chicken green curry). Amazing Thai food, will come back to try more of the menu :)!

SUKH provided a great eating experience! We got 3 entrees and 3 appetizers along with drinks and dessert and everything was so so good 😋 Our favorite was Khan pad mun Meir (it was a fried rice with egg, beef fat, and the juiciest steak). Everything else was great but that dish was definitely a standout! The service was also super crisp, we were sat within minutes of our reservation, with a quick pitstop at the bar, and our server, KJ, was spectacular. Her recommendations were spot-on and made for a 10/10 meal I would definitely recommend anyone looking for Thai food to come try SUKH! #certifiedgas

My favorite Thai restaurant in NYC! The fried branzino is amazing, and they have the best papaya salad. We also tried their winter menu, and the Lhon Pu appetizer was unreal. Would definitely recommend any of their crab dishes, they use high quality ingredients and you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. So many Thai restaurants in NYC but if you go to one, you must try Sukh!

Overall: 100000/10 out of all the Thai spots in the city & in bk this one definitely lives up to the hype and stands out from the rest. Everything on the main menu is solid and the winter specials were actual gems. Drinks are good too and they have a yummy Thai iced tea. Hospitality was immaculate. what i recc + my ratings below: Must Get: — Pla Tod Samun Prai (fried deboned branzino with sweet sauce & spicy sauces) 10/10 — Lhon Pu (crab meat & chicken simmered in coconut milk + veggies to wrap it in) 8/10 — Leng Zab (Spicy soup with pork bones) 9/10 — Khao Pad Mun Neur (Beef fat fried rice with Thai spicy shrimp paste, grilled marinated beef, top with egg yolk in soy sauce) 9/10

NYC’s traincar-themed Thai restaurant is your ticket to a beautiful dining experience. @sukh.nyc combines rich flavors with stunning ambiance — think vintage railcar interiors and thoughtfully plated dishes that feel like a journey through Thailand. Unique presentation is a big part of the experience here—just like the Hor Mok — a steamed branzino curry custard topped with jumbo lump crab meat. Their presentation and refinement took it to another level — both visually and flavor-wise. Another must-try is the fried branzino — perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flaky inside. Whether you’re a longtime Thai food lover or just looking to try something new, this Brooklyn gem is worth the ride. Follow me @foodie.elite on IG and Tiktok for more!

Service was great from beginning to end and the ambiance incorporated many authentic Thai themed designs that gives you a glimpse of what Thailand looks like! We ordered the short rib, three types of crab infused fried rice, and the Japanese botan ebi appetizer, all of which were from their summer menu. The botan ebi was rich, spicy, and tangy with authentic Thai spices! It was refreshing and paired perfectly with the fried botan ebi heads to provide a flavor bomb with its sharp contrast in texture between the crisp of the botan ebi head and the softness of the raw botan ebi! Highly recommend! The three types of crab infused fried rice was also very flavorful with the tangy, sweet, and spicy sauce that paired beautifully with it. My only recommendation is to potentially add crab butter/innards to elevate the fried rice even more, which can enhance the umami by a hundredfold! Without the sauce, the fried rice was quite plain and underwhelming, but to each their own! The short rib was so incredibly rich and tender, where the meat just fell off the bone! Although it only came with two pieces, it was quite filling nonetheless. The only minor issue was that part of one of the pieces of short rib was burnt and was hard and bitter as a result, so I hope they can monitor it a bit more diligently to ensure they don't get burnt in the hours-long cooking process! Overall it was a good dining experience and would definitely come back to try their regular menu items! It's a bit pricey, but it's authentic and unique, so it may be worth it for the experience! Can't wait to come back to give Sukh the 5 stars that I know they're extremely capable of obtaining! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

The deboned branding was so good! Love all the little sauces. Was seated on the heated patio, as a walk-in. It’s a cozy spot, pretty packed but fast kitchen. TJ was our server, she was bubbly and attentive.

Went tot this place for dinner on a Sunday. The place was bit crowded and had to wait for get a table. I tired their Crab fried rice, pad Thai with shrimp, fried branzino. The food was served at a very good temperature. The taste of fried rice and pad Thai was really good. However, the fried fish taste was bland. Also they need to adjust pricing with portion as well.

The service was great! The staff was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. The food was worth the hype and can’t wait to go back! The atmosphere is also really good for date night. Only issue is that I didn’t get my advanced request for a booth but everything else made up for it.

Food was good! Would I say it’s really unique? Not quite. Hor Mok (crab curry bites) were nice and perhaps the most interesting food item. Otherwise, pad see ew was super regular, the short rib Penang curry was good (I loved the short rib but wasn’t blown away by the curry) and the crispy pork belly rice signature I didn’t find to be particularly good. Khao Soi was really spicy (it was two peppers on the menu) and it felt a bit 1 dimensional? The booth seats are quite tight for 4. No coat hooks either. Service was a bit spotty, had to flag down a few times. Overall, very solid Thai food, wouldn’t call it veryyy unique or a culinary adventure

So like the commenter a few days back stated I also had a horrible experience with the hostess and I am a woman of color. I waited nearly 2 hours after being told a 30-45 min wait and being skipped over. I did reach out to the team via email and they were able to take care of me another night. Now I don’t want to say someone should be fired but I don’t think hostess is the position for her. Would not recommend walking in to this restaurant. With that being said, as far as the food goes it was quite good. We ordered the papaya salad, crab 3 ways special, kapraw moo, fried branzino, and short rib curry. This was my first time having papaya salad so I cannot compare but it was quite good. Crunchy, acidic, delicious. The crab 3 ways was also quite good with the sauce provided. The sauce may have been the best part of the meal. The fried fish unfortunately lacked flavor on its own but went great with the sauce. The texture was quite good though. The short rib curry was excellent, I’ve also never had Thai curry and it’s a bit sweet compared to what I’m used to but I really enjoyed. The kaprow moo was a miss to me but I kind of knew it would be. My companion insisted on ordering it but I would not recommend the minced pork. To drink we had the southern line, The song cocktail and a Thai iced tea. The southern line was strong but smooth if that’s what you’re looking for. Was too much for me personally. The song was citrusy and refreshing. The Thai iced tea was classic and delicious as well. If I were to return I’d be interested in trying some of their noodle dishes but with the competitive food scene in nyc especially Thai food scene I likely won’t return back due to that first experience. The interior was nice so ONLY if you have a reservation would I recommend anyone going.

3/5: Tasty food, reservation annoyances, interesting decor, cramped inside Came here with a group of 6 people. Our reservation was set for 6:30 pm, yet we weren’t seated until 7 pm. Having to wait 30 minutes in the cold (as it’s too cramped to wait inside) already made for a terrible first impression. When asked why we couldn’t be seated sooner, they said some parties linger longer than allotted. They didn’t really do anything to appease our sour moods – an apology at least would have been nice. They did comp us for an appetizer and a plate of rice, at least, which we appreciated. As for the food, it was good, sometimes great, and competitive with other high-end Thai options. The Hor Mook was fantastic with its well-cooked branzino – highly recommend it! The Ped Toon (duck)’s taste and tenderness surprised me – highly recommend that as well. Keep in mind that it doesn’t come with rice, unfortunately. The Kang Pu (crab curry) left me disappointed; the curry was a bit dull, the portion was rather small, and there wasn’t a lot of crab. Going from the duck to the curry was jarring in terms of taste – from very good to okay. The Khao Soi and Kee Mao were generally good, but also nothing out of this world in terms of taste. The train theme made for unique decor! Quite cute, although the inside was quite cramped. The whole place is quite small, which can make it uncomfortable to move around at times. On that same note, only one bathroom so you may have to wait in line to use it. Overall, the food was good, the reservation system was an issue, and the inside was cute but small. I’d lightly recommend this place if you want really good duck or a fun theme. I’d consider coming back, but at the risk of sounding harsh, there’s an abundance of fantastic Thai restaurants in Brooklyn and nearby Manhattan, so that 2nd visit might have to wait.

I usually never leave bad reviews because I’m a pretty easy-going person, but I feel I need to share this experience. The food here is good, no doubt, but the service was very disappointing. The staff inside the restaurant were fine, but the hostess at the front desk was extremely disrespectful. My friend arrived very early and got ticket number 1. She was told the wait could be up to an hour, but since she was the first in line, she would be called as soon as a table opened. So she didn’t dare go anywhere and stood waiting the whole time. When her number was finally called, the hostess suddenly changed her words and said, “Because your friend isn’t here yet, you cannot go in. I’ll have to give your spot to someone else.” If that was the policy, why not tell us clearly from the very beginning? My friend wasted her time waiting, only to be treated rudely at the door. To make it worse, the attitude of the hostess was unprofessional and dismissive. Honestly, I got the impression that she treated non-white customers with less respect than others, which is unacceptable. It’s a pity because the food is good, but experiences like this make it very hard to come back or recommend the place to others
