I visited Tokyo Sushi in Brooklyn with pretty high standards — I’m Korean, so I’ve had sushi many times and honestly didn’t expect to be impressed. But this place surprised me in the best way. The fish was incredibly fresh, clean-tasting, and well balanced. Each piece felt carefully prepared rather than rushed, and the rice texture was spot-on. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. The atmosphere was also amazing. The vibe was warm, stylish, and relaxed, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The jazz playing in the background made the whole experience even better — it elevated the mood without being overwhelming. Overall, I didn’t come in with big expectations, but I left genuinely impressed. Great sushi, great ambiance, and great music. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Brooklyn.

My husband and I, along with his family, have been coming to Sushi Tokyo for years, and it’s become such a special place for us. We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and so many milestones here, and every single time it feels just as amazing as the first. The staff is genuinely warm and welcoming — they make you feel like family. The food is absolutely incredible. The sushi is unbelievably fresh, melts in your mouth, and is consistently outstanding. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Maki Monday is always such a fun treat, and Jazz Wednesdays create the best vibe — cozy, classy, and just such a great atmosphere to unwind and enjoy. The restaurant is always spotless, the ambiance is beautiful, and the entire experience just checks every box. Sushi Tokyo isn’t just a place we eat — it’s a place where we’ve made memories for years, and we’ll continue coming back.Definitely recommend!!!!
Abrian was amazing, took care of our ever request, awesome mixologist! Explained every course in detail (we are not so experienced with Japanese cuisine) exactly what to expect in our experience. Coming back here after a few years of celebrating with the councilwoman, this was like a revival of old memories with new flavor. They offered us the Maki Monday special deal where we imbibed wine and sake. William was a great salesman and really took care of us but what he was selling was the promise of an outstanding experience with the meal.
One of my top sushi spots. The waiters are very friendly and service is quick. The Soho maki roll was super fresh, as well as the crunchy tempura roll. Portions were good size and the interior decor/vibe is super trendy. Great place for a date
First of all I would like to say i’m impressed! All my life I have been a picky eater, only ate basic bland meals. It was my younger sister Elishevas birthday and she wanted to try sushi. I wasn’t that eager but we still went the two of us. When we came we saw a flyer on the table that said “omakase” I asked the waitress what is that she said “It’s better fish, it’s very light and delicious” I said okay let’s do it. It came with 5 different things THAT WERE SO GOOD!!!! It was flavors i’ve never tasted before like such an insane taste I never expected myself to like this kind of food. And then the service was so nice we also got such yummy strawberry no alcohol drinks. Bill wasn’t too expensive and now i’ve developed a love for sushi!!! Omakase to be exact haha. William the manager told us to leave a review and we will definitely spread the word, it’s very hard to find places like this within our community especially in south brooklyn. Valerie and Aydin were good. That was a few days ago today i ordered for delivery and I tried specialty roll Tsunami. GUYS IM OBSESSED. Definitely come here or order to go.
We have dined for a friends birthday. Everything was excellent! Our server Aiden(maybe spelling wrong) provided what i can only describe as the gold standard service. He is super nice and managed everything very well. Foods and cocktails are delicious!

When I am in the mood for a truly great Ramen, I know Sushi Tokyo is the absolute best place to go. I can always count on being satisfied with their high-quality, authentic flavors and the fantastic, friendly customer service found every single time.

Unbelievable - the nicest of all franchises and probably one of the best kosher sushi restaurants we’ve ever been to! Highly recommend. The service also was outstanding. This is not a quick service sushi place - it’s a delicious dining experience!! I just went to Sushi Tokyo and honestly, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The staff was super welcoming and made me feel taken care of the whole time. They also served me a drink called sake, and it was amazing—smooth, rich, and the perfect match with the sushi. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves good food and good vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back!

California Beach has a great selection of resort wear, bikinis, one-pieces, cover-ups, and cruise outfits — all year round, with tons of sizes and styles from cute to classy. Prices are reasonable for the quality, staff is helpful and friendly. Perfect for planning a trip or just stocking up on beachy looks even in winter Brooklyn. Soups, salads, appetizers, sushi rolls, entrees, beverages and catering are available. They currently offer customers a 5% discount when ordering online for pickup. The restaurant is closed on Friday and reopens at 10:00 PM on Saturday when it is usually crowded. I ordered two poke bowls and a salmon roll. The food was well-prepared and tasted very good. Honestly, if you really want some real sushi go to an authentic Japanese restaurant unless you have a religious reason and you are bound by Kosher restriction.
Unfortunately, Sushi Tokyo was a major letdown. The food is significantly overpriced for the quality and, despite the name, it is absolutely not authentic Japanese cuisine. I ordered the Tantanmen ramen, and the soup arrived barely lukewarm, which is unacceptable for a dish that should be served piping hot. Flavor-wise, it was underwhelming and did not justify the price at all. Service was very limited. Servers appeared more focused on their phones than on customers, and our water was never proactively refilled. Despite this, an automatic 18% service charge was added to the bill, which felt unjustified given the lack of attentiveness. The only upsides were that the restaurant is spacious, and the restroom was clean. However, those positives are not enough to outweigh the poor value, weak service, and disappointing food. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would not return.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE! I have eaten here many times, and I have never experienced such nasty, unprofessional behavior. The waitress nana, was so extremely disrespectful and unprofessional towards our table. She made faces the entire night and threw out food on our table while verbally harassing us in our faces. I am appalled with her behavior and reaction of the manager William. He stood there and watched the entire thing while Rudely disregarding and ignoring our concerns. On December 6 at 7:13 pm I placed a delivery order over the phone. The food was delivered by a regular Uber driver who was very distressed, angry, and had severe attitude. When we received the food, the platter was not sealed. When we called to notify them, the moshgiah insisted it was not true and said he personally sealed it. We even sent him a picture by email to show him and told him to check the cameras. He then left us on hold for over an hour and kept hanging up on us.
