Opinions de Teura Il Ponte Brooklyn
Everything for me was a 10/10. I'm usually someone who is nervous to try new food spots; I'm sure if I had tried everything on the menu I would've loved it. Denis was our server, he was very kind. Definitely worth the visit.
Teura Restaurant is a hidden gem in Brooklyn! Our family had a lunch on Sunday. We got the Margherita pizza and was absolutely delicious—perfectly crisp and flavorful, thanks to the wood-fired oven. The seafood risotto was perfectly cooked, and the steak was fresh and soft. I especially loved the panna cotta and the tiramisu. The service was warm and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
The place is great! Their food is delicious especially their cheesecake. You cannot leave without trying it!!
The staff here is so friendly and care so much about the quality of the food. I rarely am a member of the clean plate club, but it was so delicious that I scarfed it all down. Some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Even got a free order of gnocchi to try! The bread was also absolutely fantastic. All around a great experience and if I ever find myself back in NYC, I will be coming back! ❤️❤️❤️
I would’ve taken photos of my meal, but I ate it too fast! So grateful to have a place like this in the area. Walked into a pleasant, relaxing, and clean dining space. Enjoyed a delicious meal with hearty portions, I had the Fasule and can’t wait to enjoy it again. My partner and I ended our meal with espresso, and Albania baklava. A dinner like no other.
I looked at this restaurant, IL PONTE, more than once from the outside and as an Italian I couldn't resist. And I did well because everything is wonderful. The place is very elegant, the staff is kind, ready to satisfy whatever you want to taste. The pizza is a delight, the wood-fired oven is an excellent choice, the pizza comes out very tasty. People, I really recommend you go to this restaurant with your eyes closed. We certainly won't leave it again. (Oh, one very important thing: they really know how to behave with customers as we say, Italians have a nose.
Best Alfredo I’ve ever had. Only here for a few days and had to come back a second time. Pizza is really good too. Also, try the cheesecake is amazing! 10/10 will return.
Came here with my wife & buddy of mine. The food was absolutely delicious.! The waiter & chefs were very attentive. Outstanding customer service. This place definitely has the best chocolate cake. Definitely going back & more important, definitely recommend.
Today we had one of the best vegetarian pizza after a long long time. Not only that, the ambiance, the staff, the service , everything was excellent. They gave us an additional tasty bread with herbs and tomato sauce, which was on the house. The pasta marinara that my daughter ordered was perfect too.
Bell and Denis made my day, they’re so friendly and so hospitable, I felt like I knew them long time and pizza was so delicious! I appreciate the service they gave me! Thank you so much 😊
Great spot in Coney Island! Fresh food, tasty menu options, and very friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. definitely a place I’d come back to.
This establishment provided exceptional service. Denis was extremely hospitable. The food, ambiance & cheesecake was 10/10 across the board. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. I will certainly be returning! You will not regret your experience.
The owner Belle was amazing he gave us the best service I’ve had in such a long time. The food was the icing on the cake soooo good. 10/10 I definitely recommend. We will definitely be returning customers ❤️
Very fresh food and a nice atmosphere for talking and eating in a calm, quiet place. Thank you for the excellent service.
Was absolutely blown away by this place! If you’re in Coney Island and want a fresh Italian meal that was made with care, come to this restaurant. We had an amazing time with Dennis who treated us so well. Pizza was phenomenal, and crispy. Prices can be under $20 and there were even $13-15 options. Will be coming back soon!
I was shocked when I saw the super high rating so decided to give it a try, came here for a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable day! The food is delicious but my favorite was the mushroom risotto and the cheesecake!
A delight to find this lovely restaurant in amidst the noise, sugar and fast food of Coney Island. A perfect place to relax after a walk along the beach - in my case on a bright November day. Delicious freshly baked bread, an excellent bowl of linguine vongole and a wonderfully fresh salad. Top marks all round!
Very good, tasty food, nice ambiance we were seated before our time without any problems. really like the service, very attentive, polite, no rushing. Definitely will go again
Food was excellent, easily accommodated our party of 8 and 2 high chairs! Service was great, and the wait for our food was minimal!
My family and I came here for dinner and this was the perfect place to go!!! Food was beyond amazing. The service was top tier and the servers were incredible. 100% would recommend this restaurant.
Everything about this place is everything I wanted. The service was great from the time I entered the until the time I left. I ordered the linguine seafood with white wine, butter, garlic and parsley sauce, and when I say it was top notch, oh boy do I mean it. I never thought that there was any comparison of my grandmother's calamari, but they take a close second place, and trust me, that's saying something. I have found my new go to for when I visit Coney Island
Stopped in for lunch and was greeted warmly and given wonderful service. Delicious homemade flatbread and the softest panna cotta. Definitely worth going to!
This place is a hidden gem! You might not expect to find a sit-down place with incredible pizza amongst the hustle and bustle of Coney Island, especially so close to the Stillwell Avenue subway terminal, but that’s exactly what Teura is. Go for the grandmas pizza and enjoy some gelato as a post dinner snack. The waiters were very relaxed and did not rush us out at all.
Only negative is the tomato sauce is a little too salty. However, the service is beautiful, the space is comfortable and the owner is incredibly friendly. Our new favorite local place.
Teura Italian Restaurant offers such a complete package it's hard to break down. Expenses seem greater than value, yet vibe compensates. The chef mixes flavors in surprising ways. The employees understand details while maintaining kindness. This spot offers comprehensive quality.
Everything tastes homemade and full of flavor, and the place just feels comfortable and welcoming. The kind of spot where you can relax, eat well, and feel right at home.
After a long day at Luna Park, we stumbled upon this incredibly cozy restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful and it smelled of delicious food inside. The people who worked there and ran the restaurant were exceptionally friendly and service-minded - we ended up having long, wonderful conversations with them throughout the evening. They made us feel so welcome and at home, and we had an incredibly lovely evening at their restaurant. I highly recommend it. We were there as a family of four.
We, on a lark, took the train to Coney Island. It was miserably cold and wet but we found Teura. Service was wonderful and honestly the food was the best we’ve had during our trip to NYC. We highly recommend it.
Came with my husband and two kids. Across from all the attractions on Coney Island. Worth the visit. Yummy food. The beet salad is divine. 4 cheese pizza and cheesecake are yummy. Clean bathrooms. Lovely service and environment. It's what I would call a hidden gem. Feel lucky to have found them. The pic is what's left of the cheese cake. There's nothing left of the pizza or beet salad. I should have taken before pics of those!!
This truly is a gem in Coney Island. I just moved here and it’s a favorite for sure. The staff is so pleasant and the food delicious. Our server, Dennis, was magnificent and very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back! Daisy @ 1515 Surf!
I had a fantastic experience at Teura Italian Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which made the whole evening even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
We celebrate my aunt birthday here and everything was over the top! Great food and service
We were looking for lunch and happened to come across this place by chance — and it turned out to be the absolute best decision of the day to eat here. The service was outstanding — attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. And the food — an absolute dream! We had pizza for three, an excellent Caesar salad, and heavenly bruschetta. Before that, we were served homemade garlic bread with tomato pesto — a true delight! We’d come back anytime! Truly worth a visit!!! Thank you!!! According to the picture - there was no banana available for scale :))
Easiest recommendation of my life, incredibly welcoming and warm atmosphere. Amazing foods in presentation and taste, fair prices, and most importantly the most kind and incredible service. We came during a blizzard during a cultural celebration that was happening(and the staff gave adaquete disclosure that there would be an event before letting us choose to eat there or not) and our waiter really made us feel like home and part of the family
Beautiful place. Dennis provided excellent service! Our order was the Arancini with Vodka Sauce, and the Margarita Pizza. Everything was delicious. It's pricey but completely worth it when the staff and chef makes your experience so grand.
Updating this as I have been here several times now. It continues to be delicious every single time. And prices have not gone up much. The portion sizes are just ridiculous. You will have leftovers. Every meal starts with a ridiculous soft loaf of bread and some kind of tomato confit , pictured here. Just the bread and a tomato is a meal in itself. (From last year) What a gem to have in Coney Island! The pastas are homemade and simply delicious. Service is fantastic. Waitstaff is attentive and super friendly. If you're willing to pay $15 for over oily fried fish and chips on the boardwalk, come here instead. The atmosphere is lovely, very calming and the food is DELICIOUS! The pasta entrees range between $19 - $24. Other entrees around $21, great salad selections, starters, kids menu, healthy side offerings, reasonable wine and beer prices, and pizza, too. Recommended: Pesto Gnocchi Polenta Salads Pizza
We just had dinner there this evening, and the conclusion is that it’s a hidden gem…Delicious food, really great service, and lovely decor. It’s been awhile since we liked everything about a restaurant, but this place has it all. The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures! Special shoutout to Dennis that took great care of us.
Teura Restaurant, managed by Mr. Elez-Bucaj with Mr. Denis behind the bar, offers a warm, elegant dining experience. The cozy interior features exposed brick walls, a stunning chandelier, and an impressive wine wall, creating a sophisticated ambiance. The wood-fired oven hints at authentic Italian cuisine, with fresh ingredients on display. The staff is attentive, and the space is family-friendly, with high chairs available. Perfect for a refined meal, though the setup suggests occasional live events.
Wow food was so delicious! I went with my girls and we shared 4 dishes and had 4 wines. We had the chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, margarita pizza, and lobster pasta. It was fairly empty and service was a little slow but they were kind enough to give us free dessert! We will be coming back!
Absolutely fantastic experience! An amazing family run place with the most friendliest owners we've come across in recent times. Dennis took our order to make a kiddie pasta - plain and simple - penne with butter - but was cooked to perfection. Their Cheese Pizza was a revelation and now, we have a challenge to travel all the way to Coney Island to get try this masterpiece! Food overall was excellent, and the location is great too. The family that run this place were really sweet and gave our little one ice-cream after being rejected by his dad ;-) Will visit Coney Island again, will be here again to try out some more Pizza's and Pasta's!
This was an excellent choice for my family. I love that they have round tables. I recommend the lobster ravioli, the Sophia Loren pizza, the linguini seafood. I’m glad the tomatoes are not pastey like some other places. I also enjoyed the panna cotta which used real vanilla bean. I will be back. My sister lives near here and also recommends the lemon chicken.
Well, what do you know...there actually is fine dining in Coney Island. Right to the point... this place is fantastic. Google reviews have this as a $$$ restaurant, but it's really $$. Nothing on the menu is expensive (i.e. most pasta dishes are $20 or less, most entrees less than $30) and the portions are generous, but most importantly they are scrumptious. This place checks all the boxes since the service and atmosphere are a solid 10 out of 10. Really attentive service as our waiter and the owner came by more than once to ensure everything was ok. Speaking about the owner really nice guy and enjoyable to talk with. Dropped in here on a whim because we were hungry and nothing else around it looked all that great. My wife after we ate said "that was a find". It certainly was. She had a mixed salad. Nice presentation, fresh greens and perfect portion size. She also ordered Polenta that was excellent. Portion was a little bit too much for her so I ate some of it too. Man, it was real good. My son and grandson wanted the BBQ pizza, which I also ate. Wasn't too sure about it since I had something else in mind, but decided to go with the flow. Glad I did. Didn't realize it was wood fired pizza despite it saying so on the menu. Wake up Jeff ( that's my real first name not my nom de plume of mimitaan...lol). Love wood fired pizza when it's done right. That's a major point. So many times it has a thick doughy crust or it's drenched with oil and who knows what else is wrong. Wood firing means nothing if it is not done right. At Teura^il Ponte it is done right. Nice thin crust and sublime taste. It was a large pie that I thought was too much to finish. I had two slices along with some Polenta from my wife's dish. There were quite a few slices left and thought no way my son and grandson could eat what was left of the pie. I was wrong. They polished it off because it was simply delicious. So here's a real kicker. The grand finale and what a grand finale it was. We all shared a slice of cheese cake for dessert. It was very light and not heavy or super dense like a NY style cheese cake. It was somehow oddly familiar. My wife commented "this is just like your aunt used to make". Oh, aunt Josephina I miss you. She made everything from scratch and it was always beyond good. If you are thinking about dessert after your meal this would be a great choice. Spoke with the owner and he noted it was an Albanian recipe and pointed out it is all homemade. He was very proud of it and rightfully so. Terrific tasting. So glad we ate there.
Run, don't walk, to Teura before everyone finds out! My friend and I arrived with high expectations after seeing all the 5-star reviews (as of writing this review Teura has the highest rating of any restaurant in Brooklyn on top-rated.online, a Google review aggregator). I was excited but ready to be disappointed. But my expectations were surpassed. Teura has a small menu and the restaurant was out of a few items when we visited (a good sign, signaling to me that they make everything fresh). The wine list includes a great selection of DOC Italian wines by the glass at affordable prices. To start off, we had the focaccia, which came with a basil-infused tomato gelée. I had just come back from a trip to Genoa, the birthplace of focaccia, and Teura's rivalled the best I had on the trip. The texture was perfectly soft on the inside with just a gentle crisp to the olive oil-soaked crust. The gelée had a wonderfully concentrated flavor. We finished it off and asked for more. Next, we had the octopus appetizer. This was the only miss of the night - there were a bit too many flavors and textures in the dish, and it was missing a bit of acid to brighten it up. Next, we had the veal Qebapa. Even before I ate my first bite I knew it was going to be delicious. The rustic presentation, the slight char, and the wonderful aroma had me salivating! And then the first bite... the succulent, just-cooked inside, perfectly seasoned, with a wonderfully pure veal aroma. After devouring all the qebapa, we were in the mood for some vegetables, and the manager generously offered to cook some for us off-menu. Each of the vegetables was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a perfect, still-slightly-crisp texture. We were dying to know what roasted onions would taste like coming out of this restaurant's miraculous kitchen and the manager enthusiastically agreed to roast some of them for us as well. They were nicely charred and delectably sweet. Now here's Teura's secret weapon - they took over a closed Grimaldi's location and inherited its big brick pizza oven. And they cook a lot of their menu items in it. The extremely high and consistent heat gets you that flavor concentration, that juicy-on-the-inside-and-charred-on-the outside perfection. The seating was very comfortable and the silverware, plates and glassware were thoughtfully considered. The lighting in the restaurant was a little brighter than ideal, but it did not detract at all from our wonderful experience. The ambience got more cosy when the main lights were turned off later in the evening. The service at Teura was great - attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We felt treated like family! Our server and the manager were happy to talk about their dishes and welcomed our feedback. We stayed about three hours and never once felt rushed, a rare experience in NYC. I can't wait to go back!
Great food, great price, great service, great view! Great complementary bread. I dropped my fork and had a fresh set of silverware handed to me within 10 seconds. Great views of Luna Park Something for everyone on the menu, they made accommodations for us and allowed us to substitute things with no hassle. They also were out of the tiramisu so they gave us chocolate cake and gelato on the house. 6 stars tbh
The best Italian restaurant and bar in Brooklyn !!! Restaurant epitomizes Mediterranean elegance and culinary excellence. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a warm ambiance of soft lighting and tasteful decor, The menu, a masterful blend of traditional flavors and contemporary twists, showcases the region's rich culinary heritage with dishes like Linguini Pescatare and Branzino fish. Each plate is a work of art, meticulously presented with a symphony of colors and textures that captivate the senses. Service is impeccable, with knowledgeable staff offering expert recommendations and ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish. Teura Restaurant truly sets the standard for sophisticated Mediterranean dining in Coney Island.
“This was one of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve ever had—authentic, warm, and unforgettable!” The coal brick oven pizza had the crispiest crust and freshest toppings, The homemade pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the truffle sauce was rich without being overpowering. “The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The cozy décor and Italian music made it feel like a little escape to Rome.” This is our four time coming here I’ll definitely be coming back!”
Jeffrey is such a wonderful waiter! Very attentive and personable. Great atmosphere along surf Avenue - lots of interesting people walking by and a nice breeze from the ocean. One of the better restaurants in Coney Island. I got the white mushroom pizza with ricotta and truffle oil! WOW! So good. Can’t wait to come back.
The best experience ever , the food taste amazing , brick oven pizza its the best in brooklyn , thin slices and crunchy . Very friendly restorant they make you feel like home , my daughter loved it and she look forward to go again , highly recommended!
Everything from A to Z in this lovely restaurant was a chef's kiss - a warm friendly greeting when we walked in, seated at our table, large&varied menu with LOTS of choices, attentive service, attractive interior decor including a brick oven&full wall wine rack in the back, tidy bathrooms and last but not least, DELICIOUS food wonderfully presented. Thank you so much Denis for a truly memorable dining experience - my first time but definitely not my last. I'll continue to return!
What a hidden gem this restaurant is. Went on a Saturday night, warm comfortable dining room. The tomatoe flan served with bread was delicious. Had their pasta dish of Elias pasta - freshly made fettuccine in a bolognese sauce was divine. Their homemade cheesecake was light and decadent. Highly recommend.
Teura is an excellent Italian-Albanian restaurant with amazing food and great service. The pizza is delicious, perfectly baked, and full of flavor. The salmon, one of the best I’ve had. And the tiramisu is always outstanding: light, creamy, and not too sweet, a perfect ending to the meal. Anyone must try. I have never eaten a better one in my life and it always tasts amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and you can tell they care about quality. Highly recommend Teura if you love Italian and Albanian flavors. I will definitely be coming back! My favorite restorant 🥰🤗🥰
Teura is hands down the best place to eat in Coney Island. We celebrated my close friend’s birthday here, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely incredible: warm, lively, and perfect for a special occasion. The food was nothing short of spectacular. For starters, the arancini and baked clams were perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The entrées: the chicken Romano and chicken Francese were cooked to perfection, rich, and unforgettable. And the desserts? Pure perfection. The cheesecake and tiramisu were the ideal ending to an amazing meal. The service truly set this experience apart. Denis is, without a doubt, the best server in Coney Island. Attentive, friendly, and professional, he made sure every moment of our visit was flawless. He goes above and beyond to ensure your time at Teura is memorable and worth every second. If you’re looking for phenomenal food, an unbeatable atmosphere, and top-tier service, Teura is the place to be. Highly recommend!
I had a truly wonderful birthday experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the appetizers were exceptional. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The restaurant itself is spectacular—immaculately clean with a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter, Denis, was extremely professional and attentive, which made the evening even more special. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much, Denis, for helping make my birthday dinner such an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Teura Restaurant offers the kind of authentic Italian experience that’s hard to find. The handmade pasta is exceptional—you can tell it’s made fresh with real skill and care. Each dish showcases family recipes that have clearly been perfected over time, delivering flavors that are both comforting and memorable. The handmade cheesecake was a pleasant surprise and absolutely delicious. Rich and creamy with just the right balance, it’s the perfect way to end your meal. What really makes Teura stand out is the hospitality. The staff genuinely makes you feel welcome, treating guests with the warmth you’d expect from family rather than the typical restaurant experience. It’s this combination of excellent food and sincere service that sets the place apart. If you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine, Teura Restaurant delivers on both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I celebrated my birthday here with my boyfriend. 🥳 I really wanted a romantic, private experience. I'd been looking for a place like this for a long, and my boyfriend suggested it. I immediately knew it was the perfect atmosphere! When we arrived, DENIS, the waiter, was serving us. I immediately said I liked the romantic atmosphere and would like a candle on the table. He brought one right away! Then he found out it was my birthday and brought us a meal on the house, and at the end, two glasses of wine! The restaurant was cozy, intimate, with beautiful romantic music. There weren't many people there that evening, and by the end, it was just my boyfriend and I. 🥰 Denis suggested turning up the music for a more romantic atmosphere, and we ended up dancing. Denis is a very friendly, outgoing, and customer-oriented person!! 😎 The evening was more than perfect for me! It felt like everything was created just for us! 👫 I recommend this place to all couples! Thank you! 🔥🤗
We stopped in here for lunch while in Coney Island , did not disappoint ! This place was absolutely delicious , I ordered baked clams that were unbelievably tasty , the rice balls with vodka sauce were perfection , the wood fired pizza was phenomenal and after your delicious meal make sure you save room and try there homemade cheesecake that was top notch ! Can’t wait to come back to this restaurant again and try something different , make sure you come here if you like good wood fried pizza and delicious Italian dishes and dessert !!!
Was looking for an Italian restaurant for a late lunch and I’m so glad I came across Teura. They have a great, extensive menu with something for every palate. We ordered the fried calamari, the Linguini Seafood, and the Lobster Ravioli, everything was absolutely delicious. The calamari was perfectly cooked, tender, not chewy! and the pasta dishes were flavorful with beautiful presentation. Our server, Denis, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Can’t wait to go back! 😋
A wonderful Italian spot right near the city’s main attractions — perfect for a cozy meal before exploring the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the pizza was delicious and a perfect crust. Portions are big (one pizza is easily enough for two), and they even treated us to a tiramisu at the end — such a thoughtful gesture. Great food, kind people, and a perfect location.
The steak had a wonderfully fragrant rosemary aroma, with a crispy exterior and a tender inside! The bread served beforehand was also very tasty, and the cheesecake I ordered for dessert was incredibly smooth with a rich, milky flavor. Even though I was full, I didn’t regret ordering dessert at all — you should definitely try it. And Jeffrey was extremely kind. 😇
This place is absolutely AMAZING! From the food to the atmosphere, to the servers! Omg, my boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our birthday's and we were RAVING about this place on the ride home. The food is delicious!! Some of the best PIZZA I’ve ever had. The cheesecake is delicious! Belle was amazing! He was so attentive, very nice and genuine. I’m from queens and I drove an hour just to come here because it’s just that good! It’s soooooo good 10/10, 10000✨✨⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yesterday afternoon I went to this restaurant for the first time. It’s very nice and the service was excellent. Jeff guided us on what to drink and it was spot on. My only comment would be about my dish, gnocchi with pesto, but it really didn’t taste like pesto. If that happens to be your choice, just keep it in mind. I understand it’s not always 100% basil, but in this case it didn’t taste like it at all. Even so, Jeff’s great service made up for it. Plus, the prices are very reasonable
This place is absolutely perfect. The food is delicious. The service is top notch. It's right on the main strip of Coney Island so you can appreciate the atmosphere without having to eat beach food. We had a caesar salad which was light and well made and a margarita pizza which was huge and delicious. Good quality cheese and sauce.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Teura on 1215 Surf Ave in Brooklyn with my husband and son, and it was nothing short of exceptional! We came all the way from the Bronx, and it was absolutely worth the trip. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant, welcoming, and truly upscale. We had the margarita pizza and mozzarella sticks, along with four glasses of wine, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Even though we arrived at 9:30 PM, just 30 minutes before their 10:00 PM closing, Denis, the manager that night, still welcomed us in with open arms. He went above and beyond to give my family and me the ultimate dining experience, making us feel like VIPs from start to finish. We will definitely be back at an earlier time to explore more of the menu and we don’t want any other waiter but Denis! I even took some content to make a TikTok, and as soon as I post it, I’ll be tagging you guys! If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with incredible food and world-class service, Teura is the place to be.
We were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary with a trip to Teura restaurant during the early afternoon. We could have gotten brunch, but we decided to go a la carte. Once I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, to our surprise our waiter immediately told us he was bringing a bt of champagne 🍾 on the house for us. A big surprise smile were on our faces and we thanked him for his hospitality. He was so attentive during our visit and was NEVER in our way. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The story is not finished yet, we were so full, but he insisted we can try the desserts 🍮, well I went for the tiramisu. Now here is the best part, he brought an additional dessert (at no additional cost 💲) for the table. Both of them were very delicious and well received. I will highly recommend this Italian restaurant to everyone because it’s family oriented. This is our second time going there with the same treatment from what we remembered the very first time we walked through those doors. I have been recommending this place to everyone who is visiting the Coney Island area to pop in and try them out. You are not going to be disappointed with the service and the Food.
My wife and I had dinner here for our anniversary. About a week prior I spoke to the owner, Johnny, and he was very accommodating and said he would set up a nice table for the occasion. When we got to the restaurant he personally greeted us, and our server, Denis, welcomed us and showed us our table. They did a wonderful job of setting up something nice and even had cold moscato waiting for us. It was such a nice gesture on their part. The food was very good, but what we enjoyed most was the friendly staff and attentiveness. All of them, including the owner, the cook, and the servers Denis, and Jeffrey, were working hard to serve everyone as quickly as possible but still took time to answer our questions and make good recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant and will tell our friends about it as well. The atmosphere was very pleasant and food was great. Thanks again!
I'm from the Bronx. My crew and I just finished running 13.1 miles, we ran the Brooklyn half . We were hungry! We saw this restaurant and we decided to try it out. OMG!!! Their thin crust Margarita pizza, Amazing, you cannot have just one slice! It was very good. One of my friends had the Calamari I had a small taste. Dam it made me want to order that too! One of the other runners ordered the house special pizza. Yummy!!! They have wines!!! My friend ordered the Chianti. The place is clean and the music soft and very calming. The host a Good looking Albanian Gentleman was kind and respectful. Oooohh before I forget thier tiramasu was worth fighting for. (Please don't do that) Will I be going back again? Oh yes I will!! New restaurant and they know what they are doing. To the staff of TEURA Restaurant. You guys are amazing.
The large restaurant is located in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. I ordered a pesto pizza which was well-prepared with fresh cheese. The polenta appetizer was very good with a generous portion. The lasagna was different than others I have previously ordered in different restaurants. The pasta were smaller strips with cheese and meat. The meatball side order was excellent. It consisted of three meatballs with quality taste. The tiramisu and cheesecake were very good. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful ambiance great place to dine in great feeling i order pizza 🍕 to take out but didn't get chance to dine in but when I entered restaurant its an amazing feeling I will definitely visit again for Dining experience soon but until its recommended by great taste if original authentic Pizza 🍕
We visited Coney Island for the day. It was 7pm and we were ready for dinner. The four of us decided Teura Italian Restaurant would be the place to eat. The place was somewhat full, but we were seated immediately. To start, they give you a choice of sparkling water, tap water or bottled water. We chose tap water, after all, we are going to order soda and wine. The tap water comes out room temperature, no ice. OK, no big deal. We ordered the food and I ordered a Caesar salad and requested it come before the dinners. Well, that was a mistake!!! Never order a salad at this place and request it comes out before your dinner, because it will cause everyone at the table to wait an hour before the other food comes out. I had to ask several of the wait staff when our food was coming out. Our waiter vanished, I thought he either quit for the day or locked himself in bathroom. I wasn't sure. He finally appeared and said our food will be out soon. And then, he vanished again. Our waiter never came to ask us how anything was. We had to ask the other wait staff for more beverages. And again, no sign of our waiter. I got the check, noticed they charged me for an additional soda that we did not receive. I had to chase our waiter down before he vanished again. Paid cash and left. The overall review of Teura Italian Restaurant is the food was very good; the portions were excellent, except for the ravioli; the prices were not crazy expensive except for the ravioli (8 raviolis for $16, $2 per ravioli) and our waiter sucked! Had it not been for the waiter being so bad at his job and the extra hour wait for the food, all because I ordered a salad, it would have been a great evening.
The pizza was completely tasteless and burnt. The takeout price was even higher than what’s listed on the menu. It’s definitely not worth $28.
Decided to check this place out after all the reviews, food was okay. Eggplant came out ice cold, portobello appetizer also cold, didn’t make it an issue. Prices they have on their website and elsewhere do not reflect current prices, which are about 20% more on everything. Bit disappointed with the amount of wine poured for prices they charge. They also charge 20% grat and 3.5 credit card surcharge which isn’t disclosed anywhere, leaving a bad feeling in your mouth. It was good but I think it could’ve been better, left feeling meh!
