Opinions de Variety Coffee Brooklyn
Variety Coffee on Graham Ave is hands-down my favorite spot in Williamsburg. The baristas are genuinely some of the kindest, most welcoming people—you walk in and they remember your usual, always with a smile and zero attitude. The coffee is consistently outstanding: their Lucky Shot espresso pulls are rich and fruity, the iced oat milk lattes are creamy perfection, and the seasonal pour-overs never miss. Love that it feels like a real neighborhood cafe—great playlist, plenty of seats, natural light, and that classic Brooklyn vibe without trying too hard. Pastries (especially the vegan blueberry muffin) are always fresh, and the prices are totally fair for the quality. Whether I’m grabbing a quick cold brew on my way to the L train or camping out with my laptop for a couple hours, it’s always a good experience. Huge thanks to the whole crew for making mornings better. Williamsburg is lucky to have you! ☕❤️
The café’s warm, attentive staff immediately created a sense of comfort. The espresso on top of the latte was expertly balanced with a rich and smooth flavor without a trace of bitterness. With a table in the back, I spent hours drawing, fully absorbed in the atmosphere, and left feeling both relaxed and creatively fulfilled. I lefted once my drawing was completed.
above and beyond service + excellent coffee leads to an amazing customer experience all the way around. variety coffee had both to offer and I truly will be back when I am in the area. If you want some quality coffee and superior service, I encourage you to check this place out.
Great place to study and grab a quick bite with friends or just to do a quick interview. Great service.
Very good coffee. Friendly service. Chill vibes and quiet environment. See you again soon Variety!

Leaving a review because I saw the negative one. I go through phases when I come here every morning. Even when I take a month or two break from coffee they still remember me and what I want when I come back. Service has always been great. The pull quality varies at times but never bad. I love and prefer this Variety. Some other customers get on my nerves but it’s worth it when the almond capp and waffle pastry consistently saves my life
Simple coffee shop: The service was good, and the espresso hit the spot after dinner. The roast was on the bitter side, but I appreciate they are open a little later than most coffee shops in the area.
Lovely little coffee shop. We enjoyed a latte, iced coffee, and amazing almond croissant. The staff is so friendly and conversational, whether you are a regular or just stopping by once, all while still slinging drinks quickly! There is some indoor and outdoor seating, which is also very nice.
Variety is the best. Great coffees, great ambiance, great people! Can't go wrong
Best coffee! Always stop here on my way to work. Every single pastry is amazing as well ♥️
Stopped in here for a late night caffeine boost and I was not disappointed. Anthony was the only one at the store since it was close to closing time and he was amazing. An absolutely lovely human being and he made one hell of a maple latte. 10/10 recommend this place.
Excellent coffee. Crew is usually pleasant. Lately I’ll visit and met with the attitude for simply asking a question. Listen I don’t need super cheerful but chill with the uptight attitude. If you’re unhappy work somewhere else. I really only visit cause I have a crush on someone there; otherwise I’d go to Kaleidoscope Coffee or Uro Cafe. Still give it 5-Stars cause it’s about the coffee.

They've got a decent range of drinks on the menu—your usual lattes, cappuccinos, and some funky specialty brews that spice things up a bit. They've also got some munchies to pair up with your drink. The staff is pretty laid-back and friendly, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

I always enjoy their coffee since I work around the area. Usually the staff are friendly but sometimes, some people are not… people love smiles!

Coffee is ok. Definitely don’t feel it’s anything special; another hipster coffee shops. The service is also just ok. Staff mostly talking amongst themselves and seem to be less focused on the artistry. The paper cups look nice and it’s usually clean inside. Afternoons are better than mornings because it’s less congested.

Walked in to a relatively empty store at 730 pm to buy a seltzer with my kid who had an ice cream cone (with a cup). Before I even got to the counter with my seltzer, we were confronted by the barista who immediately asked that I “make sure my kids ice cream cone didn’t drip all over the floor.” (Cone was not dripping at all and was contained by a cup). Feeling rather unwelcomed by this, I told him we would sit outside (it had just recently rained too heh). Pretty awkward.
I think the coffee is average and overpriced. I get just a regular coffee and milk I think the staff has an attitude that I find very offputting. For goodness sake, they just serve coffee just like men and women in truckstops all around the United States. Your job isn’t that special and you’re not better than anybody else.
Not my favorite Variety location… I came in and ordered a cappuccino and muffin, and overheard one of the employees make fun of my order to their coworker, saying “no one comes in and orders that muffin” while laughing like it was a big joke. Why have something in stock if it supposedly doesn’t sell well, or recommend other options rather than act like teenagers making fun of what people order? Not everyone wants to just order a latte or cold brew, sometimes people want to order something else. If you want to make a comment to your coworker, at least wait until the customer leaves. Coffee was alright, atmosphere was uncomfortable, especially for a rainy day and employees who don’t care much about their jobs.

Either their coffee beans are way too sour, or they simply don’t clean their espresso machines often enough. Terrible experience. My coffee ended up in the trash. On top of that, the woman who served me was incredibly unfriendly. And judging by other reviews, it’s not just me who feels that way. I honestly don’t understand why there are such long lines at this place. Definitely not a spot I’d recommend - there are plenty of much better coffee shops in the area.
Absolutely disrespectful barista that didn’t like group of kids. His attitude was so disgraceful making announcement that ‘whoever has a kid make sure they don’t touch our merchandise ‘ when they wasn’t and then talking to another client about kids being too loud. If this location has problem with kids just post on the door dog friendly but not kids friendly.
