I was very impressed by how the establishment was handling the covid 19 situation. The whole staff was wonderful, from the hostess and security to our waiter. I must say that Ms. Veronica the owner has really put a great team together. Everyone was so professional and friendly. (Which is hard sometimes to have at these establishment) Emily was our waitress, and when I mean she was phenomenal, she was smiling, polite and very attentive to a group of 14 of us. She did not make not 1 mistake in our orders. Justin the General Manager was a amazing and very professional, and mind you he is only 23yrs old and he was handling this business like a pro. I was impressed on how he was running the restaurant and then the nightlife after. Hands down this place was a big hit for me and my family, we definitely will be coming back. Great job Viva Toro.

It's an interesting place with a great vibe. The food was great! I was there for the brunch special on a Sunday with the 90-minute (I beleive) open bar for around $45 dollars. A little pricy side but all good with the money for the atmosphere and the mechanical bull scene! I would recommend it if you are not on a budget!

Great service, fantastic food, super fun atmosphere. We came for a late lunch, so it wasn't party central yet, but I can feel the tempo of Viva Toro. Food were great. I had their special Steak Al Vino, and it looks as good as the photo, and tasted even better. Such well seasoned steak and shrimp, but the hidden gem is the mesh plantain in the middle of the tower. The bowl was also a hit... Hope to stop by next time a little later for dinner and drinks.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service here. Amazing people and amazing food. We didnt notice that after 11 it turns into a club. Got lucky and 96.3 was coming in to DJ and after we finished eating we got to dance the night away. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!

Recently went here to celebrate my birthday over Brunch and this place did not disappoint. The service was amazing from beginning to end. The food was delicious, and the drinks were spot on (take about a headache well earned), and the entertainment was just right; from the Dj(s) to the dancers it was a great production. I would recommend place to anyone looking to have a good time over brunch.

Omg we went to celebrate my daughter's Prom with a very special group of women. Our waiter was on point, the food was delicious, the drinks were excellent and when they opened up the dance floor it was pumping... Definitely going back... It was GREAT! We went for our sista/friend birthday brunch party, each of us pd $40+tax.The food was delicious. I had as appetizer,calamari & main course,skirt steak w/potatoes. There was unlimited Sangria & Mimosa. The Saxophone player was amazing!! Our waiter was very sweet and we ordered our drinks and i highly recommend the Paradise Punch; it’s really tropical, refreshing, and STRONG! we were lit off our first drink! I ordered a Sandia Smash, but it wasn’t really that great so i sent it back and just got another Paradise Punch (no regrets). We ordered hookah too and I don’t typically engage with hookah but it was still fun and only $30, but it’s cash only. Not too bad and we had a ball! We both ordered the Spicy Shrimp Enchiladas and it wasn’t as spicy as we would have liked but very very filling and satisfying and and seasoned. There’s also a photographer that walks around and asks to take pictures of you, if you’d liked and then they’ll come back and show you the pictures printed out in a frame and they’re $20 each. I ordered the La Faldita (Grilled skirt steak, moro rice, mixed greens) OMG that steak was so good!!!!! I’m not a huge fan of Moro but that just me lol 🥲 but my husband LOVED it and everything was so tasty! Total came out like 60-70 but I am willing to pay this amount again for that yummy steak! We attended on a Sunday afternoon for Brunch while celebrating 2 birthdays. BEST THING about this was the Pre-fix menu. There's no arguing over who had what, who pays more. Anyone that has those friends or family that's pulling out the calculator, this is the best option. But when I tell you this was one of the best brunches ever. Staff is extremely friendly. The entire atmosphere is just, wow. DJ plays a little bit of everything, but keeps the energy high level. There are what I'd like to call "belly dancers" going around dancing. I literally felt like I was at a day party lol. The wait staff are extremely attentive and fairly fast. There is hookah available. Lastly the food was AMAZING lol. Everything we ordered was good. Normally I'll leave with a to go box. I left happily empty handed. Listen, if you haven't been, get there.

A good time can always be had at this establishment. The vibe is entertaining, energetic and loud. I’ve been here plenty of times to celebrate birthdays and just for fun with my girls. The dj’s are great. The staff is sweet and approachable. They have a mechanical bull setup at certain events. I’ve been thrown off even though I tried to hold on for dear life. If you’re going to eat I recommend the dinner menu 100 times over the brunch menu. My fav dish is the red snapper with plantain and shrimp in a garlic sauce. The brunch menu was $50 for 90 minutes of unlimited mimosa or sangria carafe, an appetizer and an entree. I’m not a fan of the entree selection. We didn’t want to do the unlimited drinks but our waitress told us it was $50 regardless and we could have juice instead of the bottomless mimosa/sangria options. We opted for the sangria. It was watered down yet too sweet. My fav drink is the jalapeño ginger margarita which is half price during happy hour or $17 on the regular menu. Don’t order the churros on the desert menu, they taste like pure oil. Expect to wear a Mariachi hat, take a complimentary shot and be the center of attention if it’s your birthday, after all why else would you pick this place?

This place just made my list for my top five places ever. The staff here is completely amazing, the ambiance is fun/exciting and the food is truly incredible. Nothing I tried tonight wasn't excellent. The nachos were awesome and the queso was the best I ever had. For an entree, they offer a platter of meat that will knock your socks off! The drink are intricate and delicious and very reasonably priced. This restaurant is huge with a dj too so its perfect for large gatherings and space around you to enjoy yourself. I can't hype this place enough!

This is Latin fusion restaurant and bar that moonlights as a club. The dining experience was good, service and food were good. You can dress up or normal for this location. Got there later in the night knowing that at 10:30 it converts into a club lounge with live music. This is not a dance club, but rather a table based bottle service lounge with satellite dancing. Tables require bottle service, even the standing high tops at the front of the restaurant are walk up bottle service tables. This was a little annoying as after I finished my hookah I was booted off the table. Music was totally bachata, reggaetón, etc. It was good, but it was too loud. I was literally yelling in order to speak with my friend. I will be going back, maybe only for dinner or only for the club, not both in one night.

I attended for someone's birthday. The environment is pleasant but a definite negative was the DJ not allowing most songs to play out before switching to the next song. I didn't like the prices of the drinks, especially when most of the cup is filled with ice. Watching everyone ride the bull was entertaining and possibly the highlight of the night, before it started to get crowded. Overall, I enjoyed myself but I'm unsure if I'll return.

Came for a birthday Brunch and it was great. The spot is spacious and clean and overall great decor. I gave 4 stars cause the calamari was like rubber. Everything else I had was amazing and delish! Deff recommend the steak and eggs, Guac and white Sangria.

I had a great time here for my 31st birthday. We participated in the prefixe dinner and got a lot of food and a complimentary drink for a great price. The service wasn’t the best but honestly it was really busy so I feel they did their best. The bull ride was fun and the staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was also great.

We came on a Saturday afternoon with no reservation, but we were seated at a table with no problem. The fried avocado fries were too thick so not my favorite. The chicken enchiladas were delicious. Cooked perfectly and the sauce was good. My partner said the nachos were good as well. The drinks are the star at this restaurant. The bebesita and the margaritas packed a punch and full of great tasting flavor. I recommend going here for happy hour drinks. It’s worth it! Pricey if you get food and drinks.

Appetizer is tasty and food was good nice flavor. Chips good too. They have happy hour until 8pm which is cool but three choices only for $6.00 but the drinks were okay. I was there from 6pm to about 1am and had several margaritas and did not feel it. 🤷‍♀️. But promise did not taste bad the drinks were good and not water down. Unisex bathrooms. But at least not gross or smelly. Decent spot and great ambiance. Clean and fun restaurant and turns into a party after hours which is cool. The music is more house, Latin and dance. Sprinkles of hip hop. You can also sign up to ride bull which is cool.

The vibes are nice, everyone has excellent customer service, the venue is clean, the bathroom is unisex BUT it has a staff person inside. The music caters to the Latin side a bit but that could be just because it was the P.R Day parade. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed a space that was clean, courteous and welcoming. There is a mechanical bull, and menu flexibility even at brunch. While I don’t drink, my brunch partner was very happy and drunk after a pitcher.

I found parking personally and they charged me $20 for valet parking. The drinks we ordered were too sweet. The food was of low quality in taste, we expected something better but it wasn't like that.

I've been going here for years. They moved locations which is not a big deal. Love the food! The issue we had is the DJ was blasting music and the hookah was not a nice thing we smelled by our food. We rode the mechanical bull, which was fun enough but they need to provide gloves or warn people to bring their own. We all ended up with horrible rope burn on our hands. Overall, I would go back and I would recommend this place, just not in the winter with no coat check and I'd warn that if you want a decent table, order entrees. I don’t usually complain about things but because there’s no resolution to my issue, I’m going to share my experience so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Sometimes things aren’t meant to be and you just have to take heed of the signs. Last year I wanted to celebrate my Bday here but when I called they said the bull wouldn’t be available that weekend. Fast forward to this year, I emailed and asked if the bull would be available on the date I was interested in and they told me yes it would be available the whole month. Now we move forward with date, time, menu. So after I have all the info I need I call to finalize my reservation. First call I let the person I spoke to know that it was around 20 people but didn’t have definitive number yet. He said it was fine, the deposit would be $10 per person and that if I had less people day of the deposit is applied to the bill. I asked them the total per person for the prefixed menu including tax n tip he told me $66, I say ok. They send me the link to pay but I wait because I was still trying to get the count together and my name was spelled incorrectly. So now I get my count and call back to change the count and ask them to change name. I pay the $190 for 19 people. Day of Bday dinner we arrive. We’re all in our cowgirl outfits ready to have a good time and there’s NO BULL. Nothing we can do about that now, we’re here, I check in let them know we’re a party of 18, we’re seated, we begin ordering, group is already instructed to open personal tabs if getting anything extra. We’re having a nice time, except for being harassed by the photo people to buy $20 pictures. When the bill comes I tell the waiter to give me the prefixed bill for the group and he brings me a single folded bill with writing at the bottom, so I immediately notice that he wrote $180 and a different total than was printed. He tells me that the $180 is the deposit I paid that will be deducted from the total because it’s only 18 people so now I’m explaining to him that that’s incorrect because I paid a deposit of $190 and that’s what should be deducted. He disagrees and we go back n forth for like 3 minutes before he says fine I’m not gonna argue with u. I pay the amount and I wait for him to bring the receipt back but he doesn’t come back. When I finally find him I ask him for the receipt he tells me he doesn’t have it, he threw it away. I say since when do restaurants throw away receipts,they should have a copy, there’s usually 2 receipts. He says he doesn’t know he doesn’t have it. Now I’m annoyed because it’s my bday, I’m trying to enjoy myself, we requested 1 song that was never played and then the bill. I ask someone who was in charge, he told me to speak to a guy who said he was in charge of the nightlife and that the restaurant manager has already left to email them the next day. I sent 2 emails and still have yet to receive a response.I believe I was overcharged and that’s why he didn’t want to give me that bill. I think I was charged for 19 people instead of the 18 that were present because my bill was almost $1400 and everyone paid for their own extra tabs. So now they lost a bunch of business because when you like the food and the atmosphere u will come back to spend your money and refer others but in a case like this I do not recommend. First off, one of the main reasons we chose this spot was because they advertised having a mechanical bull, which turned out to be a complete lie. There was no bull in sight, and when we asked about it, the staff had no clear explanation. To make matters worse, the chips and guacamole were completely tasteless — bland and clearly not fresh. We expected better, especially from a place claiming to serve quality Mexican food. We also asked the DJ to play a special song for the birthday celebration. He said he would, but never followed through. It felt like we were being ignored, and it really took away from what was supposed to be a fun night. What really raised red flags was when the waiter didn’t provide a copy of the bill at the end of the night — especially suspicious since we were on a prix fixe menu. It felt like an intentional move to potentially cover up overcharging us. Not being transparent with the bill is a major issue. Overall, this place did not live up to the hype. Between the false advertising, mediocre food, and shady service, I won’t be coming back — and I wouldn’t recommend it for any special occasion.

I went here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. While the restaurant looks nice, I’m unhappy with the experience. I spent over almost $200 here and the party size was 18 people, so this place made a lot of money off of us. However, the food (particularly the appetizers and chips and guacamole on the pre-fixed menu) were not good. Also, the salad I had with the steak wasn’t good. Besides this, the DJ showed favoritism when announcing the birthdays, only calling my sister’s name once while he called the Latino/a names frequently. We were a group of Black women so you get the point. We asked him to play a particular song at least 4 times, and he never did. There was no mechanical bull present although they told my sister there would be when she booked the reservation. I will not be returning and will not recommend this place to others. NYC is diverse and the experience should reflect that.

The place was big but the prices where to high. 2 drinks for almost 30 dollars and the music wasn't that good.

Went here for Mothers Day Brunch time. Place is nice , music was good but a wait for over an 1 hour and 20 min for 6 people , while place was half empty when we ordered was way excessive . Might come back but maybe for drinks and appetizers but that about it. Cause if it took over hour for a Dish Order while half empty I can only imagine a dinner order when they full!.

Stopped by for the Sunday brunch. Ordered waffle bites, nachos, Mangu, and the americano. The mimosa was weak. They did refill promptly though. The service of the staff was great. The waffle bites were delicious but it’s basically half of a waffle decorated. The nachos were the best thing out of the 2 entrees and 2 apps. The Mangu breakfast was horrible. There was no seasoning and it looked more like watery grits than Mangu. I had the dish replaced with the steak and it was much better. The Home-fries it comes with were seasoned well. Only issue with the steak is that it is a bit on the small side but that’s to be expected with flat rate pricing. Overall would not recommend this spot for brunch. The options were very limited as well. I would say 5 options each for the apps and entrees. BUT I’m willing to give it a go for dinner as sometimes brunch is just not for every establishment. I have had dinner here when they were at the Willyb location and it was okay so maybe it’s just the brunch that is off.

I had a disappointing experience at Viva Toro. First, I paid a $20 cover for a spot that wasn’t even crowded. I was expecting a lively atmosphere, but it felt quite empty for a place with a cover charge. Things got worse when I ordered two drinks at the bar and somehow ended up with an $83 charge on my card. I immediately reached out to management, but unfortunately, the response was unhelpful. No one could give me a clear explanation of what happened, which was frustrating and concerning. It almost felt like the staff may have added a hefty tip without my knowledge. To be fair, the DJ was great and the music had potential, but the questionable charge and lack of accountability completely overshadowed the night. I won’t be returning, and I strongly suggest keeping a close eye on your tab if you go.

Horrible. I came here with a few friends and more friends came and they were asked to order 2 appetizers or a dinner per person or they couldn’t sit with us as soon as they grabbed a seat I never heard of a restaurant doing this. Plus the place was empty!

You have a charge for the food, with tip. Bottle service taxes and 50 dollar tip. Any extra soda or juice with the bottle service 12.00 dollar two cans of ginger ale. Ridiculous. You have been warned.

I visited this establishment last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service was satisfactory, and the food was enjoyable. Upon finishing our meal, we inquired about the mechanical bull and were informed that it was not available at the moment. However, we had just witnessed a group of white patrons being allowed to use it. Despite our server previously assuring us that it would be possible, we were told it could not be operated at that time. This experience left us feeling extremely disappointed, and as a result, I would not consider returning to this establishment

The hospitality does not match the price! After spending over $400 amongst me and my friends (entry, mandatory coat check, and bottle service) I was highly disappointed. They brought us 2 small (8.4oz) cans of pineapple juice to drink with a whole 750 ml bottle of casamigos. We asked for more juice and they brought us one 10oz bottle of Tropicana orange juice and charged us $10 for it. On top of that, they did not accept American Express so this was super inconvenient as that is the preferred method of payment when I go out. The icing on the cake, towards the end of the night I went to walk my friend out to her cab to make sure she was safe and the bouncer would not let me back in. He insisted all exits were final and that was it! I was not told this on my way out at all. Mind you, I had no jacket on and all my friends were still inside waiting for me. I explained to the other bouncer that this is absolutely unacceptable and asked “Is this how you treat patrons who have spent hundreds of dollars at your establishment?!“ Like you have to be kidding me. He then proceeded to tell the original bouncer to let me in and after catching an attitude and mumbling under his breathe he let me back in. At this point I am beyond embarrassed and was ready to go. I will NEVER step foot back in to this place again.

Overprice. Burger and a steak with home fries and 2 eggs $100. Plus guacamole as appetizer. Only had water for drinks. Steak was ok but super thin. The Burger wasn't cook well. Plus we waited for our food to come too long. That's the first and last time I go here. Not worth it.

I went there for the Halloween night event and got my first drink of the night at the bar. I am 100% certain I put a 2$ tip, and they took out 4$. I don’t care that it was two dollars its the fact they thought they think they can get away with that. I bet they do that to drunk people but I was 100% sober before purchasing the drink and signing my receipt.

We had a reservation and got there early but waited at least 30 minutes past our time. When seated we realized the table was uneven and rocky. We called out to the host but he kept walking so we waited for the waitstaff . We had to go all the way upfront to get the host to switch our table .The waitstaff did not come.to our table until at least 20 minutes after being seated..We didn't even get water. We got apologies and then we're told there is only 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant. The food was just ok. The atmosphere was too dark.it looked like an old warehouse inside. The bathrooms are unisex with individual stalls. The end of the night they move the tables in the back to party. The also have a rodeo bull but we did not ride it. I would not go here ever again

My experience here was very disappointing, despite having an advance, prepaid reservation. Upon arrival, we were not seated for at least 45 minutes. Once seated, it took another 15–20 minutes before anyone from the staff acknowledged our table. When our server finally arrived, we were told to order drinks quickly and informed that food would take 30–45 minutes to prepare. The drinks came, but true to their word, the food took about 40 minutes—and during that time, our server was nowhere to be found. Our drinks were empty, and we struggled to get anyone’s attention for refills. When the server did return, they only took part of the table’s drink orders, leaving others waiting another 15 minutes to order. To make matters worse, we were rushed to pay our bill and had our drinks cleared prematurely so the restaurant could transition into a nightclub setup. A mandatory 20% gratuity was added, regardless of the service level. Additionally, I was charged twice under two different transactions, which I am still trying to resolve. The one positive note: the food was excellent. However, the service and overall experience left much to be desired. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be sharing this experience with others who are considering a visit.

I didn’t realize a 20% tip was included for 3 drinks. In addition, I tipped $13 for an orange/rum, tequila/soda, & a vodka/pineapple… $23 tip. Watch your receipts.
