Salt Coffee was great! Reminded me of the salt coffee I had in Da Nang, Vietnam
Happy to have a Vietnamese cafe in the neighborhood! Really friendly service and chill vibes.
The coffee is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Worth it.
Grateful for this tasty little oasis in a seemingly deserted stretch of nothingness. Very friendly baristas and yummy pastries!
Tuan is the man ! Love this spot. Best Viet iced coffee in the city.
great vietnamese coffee - but all the regular coffee options as well!
Cute vibes and cute baristas. Good coffee! What more could you ask for.
Such a special place with a beautiful story and beautiful people. Worked with Tuan, love the space and have definitely made it my go to coffee spot in all of New York.
The cafe instantly struck me as a classic. Its ambiance exudes a relaxed vibe with carefully curated music and an array of books. The location, the expansive glass windows at the street corner, adds to its allure—providing an ideal setting to savor a cup of hot coffee and ponder.
It’s so exciting to find a spot that does Vietnamese iced coffee and does it WELL. Such a great addition to the neighborhood. Have a great array of drinks but the classic is my favorite.
My favorite coffee in nyc, i don’t live in the area but go out of my way to hit up Larry’s. Doesn’t matter what you pick on the menu, can’t miss.
Super cute neighborhood nook with delicious authentic Vietnamese brews. The specialty drinks are pricey but a nice treat.
Most of the time, I come in to get a honey cinnamon latte. The two kind ladies who work in the mornings make them with love and care and serve them with beautiful latte art, highly recommend coming here !
As a cafe connoisseur, I can't say enough good things about this one. Welcoming and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Community vibes. And the best matcha latte in the neighborhood! The tortilla espanola is also amazing.
Amazing drinks. Genuinely. And super cute little neighborhood spot. Brought my parents there and they loved it. Glad to have it around
My favorite coffee in the neighborhood - I come here weekly and they are great. Very friendly staff here always. They also have Balthazar Bakery good! Yum 😋
Great little spot for fantastic matcha! Mary is the sweetest soul across the counter. Highly recommend stopping by.
Best Vietnamese iced coffee ever! And very kind, chill staff :) always a pleasant quiet atmosphere when I come by.
Stopped by to pick up some beans and have been before for a drip. Great neighborhood spot, love the vibe, the people and the coffee is top notch!
Best Vietnamese coffee shop in town. Incredible people. The food and beverages are insanely good.
love this place! great coffee and the vibes are always welcoming. i like to sit by the window and read while the world goes by. glad to have it in the neighborhood.
I’m so happy that this is in the neighborhood. Can’t say a single bad thing about this place.
Great neighborhood spot. I live across the street and pop in here on occasion and they’re always polite and the environment is amazing. Happy it is Larry’s now :) it was a nice change!!!
Ordered the egg coffee, not overly sweet, really enjoyed it!
❤️
Very interesting menu with delicious specialty drinks! Truly a one of a kind cafe in the neighborhood
Love it here! Delicious coffee and pastries, super friendly people.
My favorite coffee. A MUST try !
It has taken me way too long to write this review, maybe because I subconsciously want to gatekeep this cafe. Really Larry's is way more than a cafe to me (and clearly to many others as well). Warning: Brace yourself for a way too corny and emotion-filled review. For those of you who just want to know about the coffee and drinks, they're all great, end of story. No need to read on. Even though the drinks are some of the best and most creative that I've ever had, they're not the main reason I come back to Larry's week after week. The real reason is friendship. Every week, I look forward to walking into Larry's and being greeted by Aidana (shout out!). She is not only my barista, but my therapist, my source of knowledge on all things Brooklyn, and above all, my friend. Okay, maybe I'm one of those delusional customers that thinks the barista is their friend because they actually talk to you for like more than 30 seconds, but if so, I'm okay with that. She is so warm and welcoming, and so is Tuan, the owner. She lights up the space and you can tell that she brightens the day of every patron coming through the doors. She and Tuan take the time to get to know you, and remember you, what you like, and what you're up to that week. And the result: Larry's feels like a home away from home. Well, I think I've said enough. If you want a warm, welcoming space to chat and make friends come to Larry's, and as the cherry on top you can enjoy some tasty drinks and bites. XOXO Aidana + Mary + Tuan
Such an amazing cafe. Easily my favorite in the area. Not only is the coffee and matcha amazing, but the staff is always so delightful. Touching origin story too.
Larry’s is cozy and inviting and hanging out there makes me feel like I’m being warmly hosted in someone’s home. Aidana is my favourite barista (in all of Brooklyn, probably the entire world) and Tuan has created a welcoming community space. I’ve been in a number of times for coffee/matcha or food pop-ups by friends. All hits no misses! Get the Larry’s Iced Green (matcha foam with coconut water) or Ca Phe Nau (warning: STRONG).
Was in here recently and loved it!! The barista Helana was such a treat and really made it the best coffee experience! My cappuccino was the perfect texture and temperature. Will for sure be returning!
I genuinely have never felt better leaving a cafe ever. The barista was so personable, so careful, and so kind to me. The drinks were fantastic and so refreshing. I am obsessed with this place already
Sweet little cafe serving up inventive and delicious coffee / matcha drinks. Lots of heart in this place! The iced coconut matcha drink lives up the hype. Such a great combo of flavors 👌🏻 Would be fun to see some food / pastry options that match the creativity and Asian-influence of the drink menu. But I will definitely be coming back for more coffee + matcha!
In a neighborhood teeming with very quality cafes (truly, one of the highest density+excellence ratios anywhere on this planet), Larry's stands on its own. Super cozy, personal, with a loving touch. Banging coffees with a great neighborhood view, too. Hard to beat that.
Fantastic coffee in a cute, cozy spot. The pastries are amazing and there's often really cool pop-ups. It can get busy but everything comes out fast thanks to the staff
genuinely my favorite nyc cafe. the workers are so incredibly helpful in answering questions and give great service and even better drinks. my favorites are the egg custard and salted foam coffee.
Went with my sister this morning to the new park slope location and we loved it! Everyone there was so friendly, the drinks and pastries are delicious!
It takes me 3 days to finish a coffee because its so strong! But very good : )
This place rules. Very quaint and vibey space with the best coffee in the area. With a dozen places to go in a five-block radius, this place has become our only go to. Decent pricing comparatively and the best cappuccinos around.
Wonderful coffee shop with exquisite pastry options that will make one want to go back again and again. They are a busy spot and a wait in line in worth the wait. I'm hoked on their croissant with pistachio and cappuccino. Definitely a spot to go and descover for yourself.
One of my favorites in the neighborhood. Everything I’ve had has been fresh, delicious, and the espresso packs a punch. So glad they’re in the neighborhood!
This cafe has the coziest vibes with carefully curated drinks. It is the perfect place for me to sit down on the weekend to study math or to read. The biggest attraction about Larry's is the community. There aren't many spaces where Vietnamese people can gather, and I'm glad to frequent a spot where my heritage can be shared. I love the puzzles and riddles too!
The pastries are interesting and dekicious, I got these tiny Vietnamese coffee brownies, corn butter mochi, and a vanilla custard filled donut/bomboloni. Also a classic drip Vietnamese 3 milk coffee which got me wired for HOURS, effective
Really nice new coffee spot in the neighborhood! It's refreshing to see a Vietnamese based coffee shop open here in Williamsburg. I got the salted foam Vietnamese cold brew and it tasted delicious! Not too sweet but just the right amount of decadence. Would love to come back and try some more drinks and bakery items out next time!
I love this coffee shop so much. Not only do they make great coffee and have a delicious pastry selection, but it’s also a homage to one of the coolest guys ever. Larry was a local community organizer, math teacher, father, coffee connoisseur… the list goes on. Rest in Peace, Larry! Your name and mission live on 🥹❤️
Larry’s is an amazing addition to the neighborhood! The owner Tuan and his staff are lovely and the Vietnamese drinks are really special. The cafe itself is small but cozy and there’s always a stack of books in case you need something to help you occupy your time there. Pastry selection is pretty good and there’s a customer bathroom as well if you need it. Specialty drinks are definitely worth the trek if you don’t live in the neighborhood.
Super cute café with great drinks. I usually don’t drink coffee and I like how many non-coffee options they have. My favorite is the matcha latte with pandan! It’s small but still has seating for people to chat and/or get work done.
I love this place. The coconut matcha is my favorite cold drink in all of New York. It’s delicious, satisfying and refreshing. The coconut flavor is the best and I love the coconut sprinkles that add a little texture. The people who work there are always so nice and the atmosphere is charming and cozy.
Weird hours but I love the coconut cloud matcha drink wow
Neighborhood GEM! Drinks and bites are fantastic, staff are so friendly and fun. I really appreciate how community oriented they are, and true to their mission of bringing awesome Vietnamese inspired drinks and cuisine to East Williamsburg. Favorite cafe ❤️🔥
I decided to try the matcha at this place, recommended by a friend, and wow 😍 I'll definitely be back soon. The matcha cookie was also very good.
Wonderful little space with an amazing menu of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian flavors and the sweetest backstory. The Ca Phe Moui was delicious! Plan to go back to try all the other drinks.
Very cute neighborhood coffee spot specializing in Vietnamese drinks. I went in first thing on a Thursday morning. Not too busy, but they had a steady stream of people going in and out. I got the iced Vietnamese coffee with salted caramel foam. It was very tasty and strong. There aren’t too many places to sit (just bar seating) so I would not recommend for big groups. They are more geared towards people ordering coffee to go.
Great Vietnamese coffee spot! Very interesting flavors that you have to try. We got the black sesame matcha with honey and it was delicious! Very nutty and earthy. Moreover, the bit of honey really balanced everything out. We also tried the Vietnamese coffee and it is STRONG. You can feel it go right to the brain... just something to note. However, very good. Have to try more of the classics next time like custard coffee! Will be back
Small cute coffee shop with very strong Vietnamese style coffee. This Sunday there was a little ice cream cart pop up outside that has fun flavored ice creams with the option to do an affogato with the coffee shop inside. I hope the ice cream cart comes back 🥲. There is a restroom in the coffee shop. There is about 10 seats inside and is definitely not a place to sit too long at for.
Amazing drinks & happy to find a few vegan options as well! Good service and relaxing vibes
What an awesome cafe with fantastic tasting beverages. We were able to try a variety of the seasonal specials and loved the unique flavors from the foams and toppings. Looking forward to coming back when new flavors come out!
It's a very sweet boutique coffee shop I came to. The employee ( her name is Aidana) is very sweet and polite. I can say that I drank the best matcha I have ever had in my life. They made a special drink for the summer and it was really great. If you ever come by, definitely come here. It's the best in Brooklyn!!
Most delicious beverages, excellent service and welcoming ambiente. I loved the hibiscus tea and latte. Lots of options to choose from. I will be back to try some of the delicious beverages I never tried before. Highly recommend!
Tiny but very mighty spot for Viet coffee. The classic ca phe sua da was excellent and my favorite, but the egg and the coconut ones were amazing too. The pandan mochi desserts were good as well. Very very friendly staff, so kind. If you're in the area, this place is a strong recommend.
I got their CÀ PHÊ MUỐI - cold brew with salted foam. So strong and delicious! Can’t wait to be back to try their other coffees
Small coffee shop that you’d probably miss otherwise if you weren’t paying attention. You want to look out though, because this carefully crafted coffee was so delicious. Unique flavors of the Vietnamese cold brew coffee, caramel and the condensed milk combine to make your not usual coffee. Pastries are good too. Worth it to go back and try the other combinations.
Cute cafe on the corner not too far from Graham Ave L station. Basic cafe menu and tempting pastries at very reasonable prices. Nice seasonal drink specials and teas if you’re not into coffee. “Homey” and quaint feel. Vietnamese iced coffee had more of an earthy woody taste, but very strong and not too sweet.
Amazingly fantastic flavors and quality. My husband tries flat white literally every cafe we’ve ever gone and he said this is the best flat white he’s had in nyc! We also got the Pandan sponge cake and the honeycomb Pandan cake. Plus their matcha chocolate cookie, the red bean black sesame cookie too. But the stunner of the show was a custom drink slightly experimental. MATCHA PANDAN LATTE!! When I tell you it’s the best drink I’ve ever had. They hand mix the matcha with perfect foaminess. The Pandan flavor is amazing. Wow. I wish I lived closer so I could come daily. We came here many times before and have never been disappointed but I loved loved this matcha drink. She said she usually doesn’t experiment but was open to it this time and I just think that was so sweet of her. 10/10 experience, food, and atmosphere
the matcha coconut is AMAZING. It has coconut flakes on top of it too!! I couldnt expect it to be any better for a fun drink! 10/10 the vibe of the cafe is immaculate and the person working there was very nice and helpful
Tuan and his team are awesome!! 😊 Tuan has been in the coffee business for years & it is so good to see him open his first shop!! Quality coffee drinks - hope to be back again! ☕️ I loved my iced oat latte & my friend's iced oat vanilla matcha was devoured pretty quickly. 💚 thank you!
the sapa was really well balanced — combo of pourover with condensed milk. it left a pleasant coffee taste lingering in my mouth even after i finished the drink.
It was my first time trying any kind of Vietnamese style coffee and it was so delicious. The place has a cute and cozy atmosphere 💗 Definitely will be back! :)
Obsessed with this neighborhood gem. The Vietnamese coffee at Larry's is brewed with absolute love, flavor, and strength. It's a wonderful space filled with light and busy with collabs with other local Asian businesses. Special shout out to Aidana, my favorite barista - she always knows how to make you feel welcome in this warm space!

Fantastic coffee. (Strong!) My partner got an iced tea which was also delicious. Beautiful location, cozy vibes. Very welcoming space. The person who made my drink both times I visited was very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to explain various Vietnamese coffees. I hope to be back regularly as I still have many drinks to try :)

Coffee is good but the salt and egg coffee are not authentic, they’re more like foam than unique drinks. Egg coffee is never iced and neither drink was thick. That being said the coffee is solid and service was fast. Manage your expectations.
I had gotten the hibiscus lemonade it was ok nothing special or worth going back for
I wish I could say that I finally found an authentic vietnamese coffee place but serving me drip coffee with condensed milk (not made with a proper phin) was extremely lacking. It just tasted very watered down unfortunately
The ca phe sua day was just OK. It's not the same as it is in Vietnam. Not nearly as strong and flavorful. The price was outrageous. I paid $9 including tip for a 12-16 ounce coffee.
