AGIO Italian & Steak

We weren’t expecting much since they just opened, but everything was amazing! The food and drinks we had were superb. Our waiter Tony was great and attentive. Highly recommend!

We have been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it’s our favorite place to come!! Service is always amazing and the food is incredible every time!

My wife and I got there right before 3. They were still serving lunch, but we asked if we could order from the dinner menu, and it was no problem. We really appreciate that. I ordered the filet mignon (meduim) and my wife ordered the calamari. The calamari was cooked to perfection. And the steak was cook well done. Without having to say a word, the chef came out and already had a perfectly cook medium steak with him apologing for the first steak. Basically, he was still training the cooks. But the fact that I didn't have to complain or even mention that the steak was well and not medium meant a lot. And it was cooked to perfection. Everything was good. Good food. Good service. Good little lunch date with the wife.

We had an amazing experience here. Paris was our server and he was exceptionally attentive. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious! We will definitely visit again.

First time trying this place out, and absolutely loved it! We ordered the calamari for an app and it was delicious, forgot to snap a pic! For my entree, I got the penne pesto with chicken and it was fantastic!! Will definitely be back! Only complaint, could use some more comfortable chairs at the tables, I felt like one wrong move and I was a goner lol! Other than that, service was great, food was great, 10/10!

Saturday breakfast. Loved the grits! Wife got chicken and waffles, it was great, just maybe ask for the orange marscapone on the side if you’ve never had it. Chicken was super tender, waffle had a good crust, and came with bacon.

We stop on on way south and north and sit in the bar area as no reservations needed ! Excellent service and excellent food!

Agio Steak & Seafood is truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was attentive, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The bartender, James, went above and beyond—his professionalism, creativity, and friendly personality made the experience even better. Between the amazing food, service, and overall vibe, this is hands down one of the best spots in Brunswick. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is inviting and I enjoyed their music selections. The restaurant is organized and clean; one of the cleanest restaurants here in Brunswick. The waitress Jackie (I believe that was her name) displayed a positive attitude, was helpful, and a great waitress). Will definitely return to this restaurant soon.

Excellent breakfast. Rachel personally made us the BEST caramel iced coffee… it was better than Starbucks by a mile! Then the breakfast tacos and chocolate chip pancakes were amazing. I’ve never had better breakfast at a hotel. Highly recommend 10/10.

Agio's is a hit! We were looking for something close for Italian without having to go out to the island. The service was awesome, the food was splendid and perfect portions. We were greeted warmly and sat quickly. I was really amazed with the open communication by the server, Tyler, that just about anything ordered could be split between the two of us and that the kitchen was very flexible. We will definitely be going back again.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday last night with a party of 16. The food was good and the entire team were awesome. Our server, Tony was exceptional - very attentive and accommodating. They made sure we had a great experience. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate 🥳

My husband and I went here because it was close to a hotel we had booked (checked right out again). We had been on the road for almost 10 hours. The staff wad amazing. We had ordered drinks and an appetizer when the hotel called and said our door was crying. I left to calm the dog and my husband was going to order take out to take back to the not so favorable hotel. The staff felt bad for us and came up with a creative alternative for us to enjoy a delicious meal.

Delicious food and great ambiance! The quality we’ve come to expect from a Halyards group restaurant! The calamari was particularly good and you can always trust the Bolognese and Ravioli as delicious options! So grateful to have an option like this is Brunswick now! It was my daughter’s birthday and they left a Happy Birthday note on our table and gave us a dessert with a candle. Great touches!

Came in and had dinner tonight with Taryn and Christal. I enjoyed the short rib ravioli. Our servers were very attentive and always anticipated what we needed. Christal was also very knowledgeable with every question we asked considering she was still in training. Keep up the good work !

Stephanie was our server; she very polite, professional and friendly. She was very knowledgeable of all the menu choices and provided insight on questions we had. She also went above and beyond with great recommendations of things to do in the area. We were thankful to have Stephanie as our server and would totally recommend Agio to others.

I would like to recognize Keke for her exceptional performance and professionalism. During my visit, she was single-handedly managing the restaurant, balancing multiple tables and responsibilities with remarkable composure, efficiency, and a genuine smile. Keke demonstrated outstanding leadership, multitasking skills, and customer service excellence that went far above expectations. Even under pressure, she ensured every guest felt welcomed and taken care of, which is a true reflection of dedication and commitment to the restaurant’s success. In my opinion, Keke has all the qualities of someone ready to step into a higher role. Her ability to lead, serve, and maintain high standards makes her an excellent candidate for a promotion. She is an asset to the team, and her hard work deserves recognition.

Stopped by for a quick late lunch (2pm-ish). Really quiet… only one other lady there. Service was great. Food was really good. I’ll have to stop by for dinner soon.

The remodel of this place is amazing! The food was great, those crispy onion rings on my steak were killer, and the sweet tea was fresh and sweet! The stuffed mushrooms were the star of the show, highly recommend. Our server and her coworker were very attentive and I love when you can tell the staff has a “team” mentality instead of a “me” mentality. Kudos to the team for an awesome experience, I will be back.

I went in to celebrate my bday, I wanted to try a new restaurant in town . And it was by far the best service and food that I’ve had anywhere. Our server was Taylor and she made great suggestions from drinks to entrees and even convinced us to get dessert. Make sure to keep her as a server she was amazing and we will be back just to see her! Thank you for making my birthday great!

We had an amazing experience at Agio! The food was outstanding — I ordered the salmon piccata and it was truly the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Maddi, was incredible. She was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. When our table neighbors accidentally spilled a glass of wine, she jumped in immediately to help clean up and take care of them without missing a beat. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. 10/10 would absolutely recommend Agio! We’ll definitely be back.

This was our first time here since they converted from Harris' and WOW from the minute you walk in and bowled over by the beautiful decor to the fantastic hospitality and attention we received from the hostess onto the wait staff, Jackie. We ordered the mussels, brussel sprouts to start and it was top notch! Then onto the salads, I had the wedge and my wife had the caprese and wonderfully done! We went onto having the lasagne and veal parmesan and the portions were huge!!! You will not leave hungry that's for sure! They have a gull bar for all your libation needs and the dessert to round out your evening, we didn't have enough room to take advantage of their delectable menu. My husband and I just found Agio Italian and Steak in Brunswick, GA at the DoubleTree by Hilton close to the airport. It’s a wonderful place especially for lunch. First of all, you’re allowed to order your selection either as full or 1/2. We had the most attentive waitress named Arcadia. She was very responsive to our every need without unnecessary interruptions. She could converse without being distracted. Thank you DoubleTree and Arcadia for an enjoyable lunch. Wish I could give them more stars!

We made reservations for Valentine’s Day at 6:15p.m. (Which we never dine out on that day). Not only was the food delicious, the place was packed and the staff were on top of every reservation seating folks right on time. A big shout out to the hostesses, the waitstaff and the chefs! The food came out promptly and again we loved our dishes. Don’t forget to order the garlic bread folks….. the only regret……we didn’t order a 2nd basket of garlic bread…..Agio’s is a true gem to the city of Brunswick! You all need to make it a destination even if you are driving to or from Florida!!

First time here. Just traveling through. We shared the roasted Brussels sprouts and 4 cheese lasagna. Best Brussels sprouts we’ve ever tasted. Grilled, toasty and crisp, with goat cheese and bacon. Wow. The lasagna was delicate and the bolognese was delicious. Service was very good. And prices were reasonable. Will stop here again.

My wife and I we're walking into The Walmart of steakhouses, longhorn and for some reason turned around and walked right out and went to to Agio Italian and steak. So thankful we did. Food is amazing. Servers are attentive and polite. Restaurant is very clean. Will definitely be back.

Agio was a true delight! Our server was Javi (Javier), he is WONDERFUL! If I could give him 100 stars I would. He was attentive & so helpful. Everything he recommended was absolutely DELICIOUS. We enjoyed the Brussels sprouts for starters, my hubby had the short rib ravioli, he said it was delightful. I truly enjoyed the lasagna, it was very flavorful, the fresh basil and grilled bread truly took it to another level.

This visit was my first visit to Agio but not my first to this location. It has definitely changed from the previous 2 owners. The layout is about the same but the new decor gives it a light relaxing feeling. The service, food, and atmosphere were very good. We had the club sandwich and fries. We will be returning to try other items on the menu.

We went to Agio's for lunch, and we all had some kind of pasta. I had Fettachini Alfredo with grilled chicken, my wife had Lemon Piccata, and our friend had Alfredo with Shrimp. Our waittress, Stephanie, was great. It was not busy at all, I was surprised. The only thing I was disappointed with they did not serve and bread at all. We all had Tiramisu for dessert which was fabulous! Our check for three was right at $100.

Agio was very nice. Food was great. The Fillet was perfectly cooked, maybe lightly seasoned. The atmosphere is mid-upscale. The service was good. Would eat here again.

Stopped here on a road trip north. Our party of 6 was seated immediately. Some of the main dishes were pretty pricey though. $40 for Denver steak, but food was pretty good. Would recommend stopping here vs your typical chain restaurant. Bathrooms were very clean too.

Went for family dinner after a recommendation from a colleague. To quote one of the members of our party- "it's aggressively average food." Garlic bread was nice but a small serving for the cost. Calamari was soggy and included fried zucchini and some other unidentifiable fried item and was served with an orange colored dressing. Pork chop was dry. Chicken parmesan was unremarkable. The steak was enjoyed. Sides are pre-determined on the menu and were good but not memorable. Overall, a hotel-food worthy restaurant and not much more.

Guys!! The food tastes delicious! But my goodness, the portion size is lacking! I have loved Tramici’s for years, have even asked for a to-go box before. I ordered your short-rib ravioli for carry out this evening. I am posting a picture of what I received. With tax, my total (before tip) was over $30. I feel like I got cheated a little . It was wonderful, but for this size portion, it’s way overpriced.

First visit since new ownership took over. Unfortunately typical o erpriced mediocre italian food in the south. Pasta dishes $20 to $30 alla carter side salad $8 to $12. I ha gnocchi which waa decent but very salty. Big negative our reservation was for 6:30 on a Tuesday and the steak special was already sold out...they must have planned on selling very few. Overall food was OK not exciting and our bill for 2 pasta dishes with salads and a couple drinks was $108. Not a great value unlikely to return.

Calamari was fine, for the price you don’t get much and most of it is friend onions as filler

We stayed here and it was a different restaurant, and they actually had happy hour !! ?? Apparently not heard of in that restaurant. Glass and all I heard was about their protocol !! Apparently, they have very tight management, standing up to covid standards, even though that was too many years ago to remember !! We had two drinks and one meal shared for over a hundred and twenty five dollars ! We remember the good old days when Holiday Unn owned it, and they would actually have a happy hour.And delicious food and wonderful affordable specials and locals that were fun.And you talked to. People actually, maybe even exchange a phone number ! Yes, I call this a dud.It's not a good atmosphere.And not locals coming in.What's the point?I'd rather go to a fun local bar !!!!

A Complete Disaster – Worst Italian Dining Experience I had one of the worst dining experiences at Agio Italian & Steak Restaurant. I ordered spaghetti with aglio e olio sauce – one of the most basic and authentic Italian dishes. Instead, they brought me spaghetti in tomato sauce. I waited nearly one hour just to get a server to clarify my order. Shockingly, the server had no idea what aglio e olio was, and when the manager came, he also didn’t know. I had to repeat myself almost 30 times, and even after showing them online what aglio e olio means, the manager dismissed it by saying “Oh, that’s just an outdated online menu.” To make it worse, the bill was $60 for this disaster. Paying that much for a meal that was wrong, poorly handled, and served by staff who had no clue about Italian cuisine is absolutely unacceptable. This is completely unacceptable for a place calling itself an Italian restaurant. If the staff doesn’t even know one of the most classic Italian pasta sauces, then what are they serving? On top of that, the service was painfully slow, careless, and disrespectful of my time. Overall, this was a total disaster – poor knowledge, terrible service, and outrageously overpriced. I will never return and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting a genuine Italian experience.

$26 for 6 measly short rib raviolis. Dinner did not include salad or bread, and my husband left hungry. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was a little greasy.

Extremely average at best. Everything about this place feels like every other hotel restaurant. Very sterile decor, plain dishes and average service. We have tried both dinner and brunch and they were both mediocre. I had a basic omelet and my wife had some scrambled eggs for brunch. Both had a weird taste, and the dishes overall didn't stand out at all. Save your money and go to Metro Diner if you want infinitely better food, more variety and a fun atmosphere.
