Food was amazing ! We had the pulled hammy with the tortilla warmed (makes the best difference ) and the Willie Noris Burger with some yuppy sweet potato fries (of course). Atmosphere was real chill . will always recommend 10/10

I have Been craving proudest monkey 🤤🤤🤤but it’s so hard to get parking downtown. So I ordered in and picked up my order to beat the lunch rush. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️it was easy to order online and the order was ready really fast. I was in and out and back to enjoying my food in no time. I got the burger with a fried egg it was so tasty. I was a little worried because I had to customize removing mango since I’m allergic but they got it correct. The fries are the best! Definitely recommend trying if u haven’t yet.

Stopped in for lunch Saturday. I had the Willie Norris burger with the Yuppy fries. Both were great. The wife had her burger as a bowl and loved it. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is great. Oh yeah, the drinks were great as well. If you haven’t been here yet, check it out!

YUPPY FRIES ARE EVERYTHING Drinks and food came in a time efficient manner without compromising the quality of the food. The yuppy fries are obviously 10/10 followed by the Willie burger with 9/10 and ranch hand tacos 8/10. The orange creamsicle drink was also 10/10. Proudest Monkey held a great atmosphere and amazing staff members. Will definitely be returning🫶🏼🫶🏼

No wonder the Monkey was voted "best fries"! I had the Yuppy fries and they are fantastic! All the folks here are super friendly! There's a good selection of local beers. Will be back during my stay in Bryan, TX. Love the exposed brick walls and concrete floor coupled with bright red barstools and dark booths.

Great burger and social spot in downtown Bryan. They have a good selection of different food at a good price. The ambiance is definitely the best part, they stick a TV in your booth, so a great place to watch sports and socialize. I had the Willie Noris with Yuppy fries and it was excellent. Combo deal was great too. Will need to come back to try more items!

Great experience overall! I wouldn't come back just for the food necessarily but I might come back for the atmosphere + food combo. The vibes of the place were just all around fun! The yuppy fries were pretty great! And the burger was decent, nothing incredible but everything was fresh and the flavors were awesome together. The Arnold Palmer ice cream martini was super fun to try as well!

We loved the environment and our waiter was super nice, but we didn't get a chance to catch his name. The food was very delicious and well worth the wait. My husband ordered two Pulled Hammy tacos. Fries and dipping sauce were a little too peppery and I really like black pepper. Otherwise good experience, the taco was great and the guac/blue cheese burger was good, maybe could’ve gone a little lighter on the blue cheese to balance it better.

Small please with big booths - I had a very good server she was very attentive and kind. Seems like a little place for college kids to get a burger and a drink. Recommend thorougj cleaning - most surfaces had a good amount of dust, staining and/or debris on them. I got a grilled cheese with fries. Small portions. Fries were uneventful but the grilled cheese was pretty terrible. I'm not one to generally dog on anything, but when I picked it up, it leaked water and started to come apart, with the cheese turning to a watery goo. I liked the gravy that comes with the fries - its an intensely peppery gravy to dip fries in and its really good. I suspect the place has a high rating because they offer a discount for 5 star reviews. Again my server was very nice - 5 stars for her service and the primary driver on this averaging to 3 stars - but with the issues I dont see how its possible for this place to have nearly 5 stars on google without the incentive on the table. My opinion of course, but I dont recommend the grill cheese maybe their other stuff is better.

I thought the food would be much better than it was. It seems that the beef patties are frozen and a little hard and tasteless. The fries were OK, but also seemed like they were frozen. Based on the reviews, I expected better.

Ordered a couple of burgers and what we go was totally disgusting. For starters we got something we didn’t even order which would have been okay if it was good. The lettuce was old the meat was super dry and hard. 12 dollar for an old burger that doesn’t come with fries…If it was the best burger I had ever had maybe but it was NOT. This can’t be the Proudest Monkeys proudest moment. I would steer clear of this place unless you just want to waste some money
