I recently went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner with a friend. The first thing I want to point out is that the space was very tight. We were seated right in the middle of two tables, and all the tables were small and square, which meant that you could hear everyone's conversation, and they could hear yours. Just be mindful of that when you dine here. However, other than that, it was fine. We ordered a few items, and they were all good. I didn't have a problem with anything that arrived except for the crab wontons. We had a few of them that had no filling at all. We informed our waiter, and they had no problem replacing it, which I really appreciated. My main dish was General Tso’s chicken with white rice, and it was good but really big. I noticed that most orders were large enough to share a plate or definitely have enough for leftovers. It is BYOB, which was a new experience for me, but it was great. They provided us with wine glasses, and if you want, they have ice buckets to keep drinks cold as well. Lastly, I was given a mochi dessert for my birthday, which I appreciated, although I didn't really like it. Overall, I had a positive experience at this restaurant and recommend it to others. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming, making it a great choice for special occasions or casual dining. This place is definitely great whether you want to dress up or dress down, as the ambiance is versatile and can cater to different preferences. The menu also offers a variety of options to suit different tastes, ensuring that everyone can find something they enjoy.

Without question one of the best dining out experiences I've had in a long time. Many times eating out these days the service is bad and prices are high, but at Veekoo this was not the case at all. From the ambiance, service, quality of food and options they hit home runs across the board. We tried many items on the menu and they are all very flavorful and fresh! My favorite was probably the short rib special and tornado roll. They are also a BYOB which is nice you can bring anything you want to drink(we brought sake). I will definitely be coming back to this place

Excellent date night spot at reasonable prices on the main line. It's a lively environment with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. BYOB is a huge plus, it makes for a delicious meal at great value. We look forward to returning

Dined here this past weekend with a few friends and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Everything tasted great and was reasonably priced.

Loved this restaurant! Therecwas something about the sushi that was just better than most other places. The steak and shrimp dish was also delicious. It's a byo. And our server Kyle was excellent. Definitely check it out!

Great quality sushi! Amazing atmosphere! Feels super modern and stylish, great date night location or a place to bring the family! The ramen and appetizers I also tried were fantastic! Worth a visit! They know what they are doing!

I really enjoyed my experience at Veeko. The food was delicious, the ambiance was amazing, and the service was excellent. I had the general tso’s chicken as an entree, the Szechuan dumplings and the chicken tempura rolls as appetizers. Everything was delicious and filling.

5 Stars in all categories! Ambiance, Decor, Music, Attention to Detail, Staff, Presentation, Food and Cleanliness. A big city feel close to home and no nonsense parking. Have you ever gone to a restaurant and every single dish you had was amazing? I just did. I was beyond surprised to find this place suited and surpassed all of my expectations. In fact, I haven't been this pleased with a restaurant in a very long time. Every dish was perfectly mastered. I highly recommend this place for a date night and you'll feel like your fine dining in the city! A+ to the staff who also contributed to the positive ambiance.

The Main Line was lacking a dine-in sushi place with great vibe to take friends to, so I was excited to try out Veekoo. The menu is sushi focused, but has a few kitchen dishes for those who doesn't like sushi. We enjoyed the rock shrimp, homemade pork pan fried dumplings and East Coast oysters for appetizers. We ordered a few specialty rolls to share and we loved everything! My friend also ordered the Sashimi Deluxe and said the fish tasted very fresh. Forgot to take pics of everything else so only got the dessert. Great interior ambience with a nice outdoor patio. The huge free parking lot (which is rare on Lancaster Ave) was a plus. It's also BYOB.

We held the MOST beautiful bridal shower at Veekoo! The manager and staff were exceptionally accommodating, the event was lovely and the food - as always- was SUPERB! Thanks Veekoo!

Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service is fine overall- our server was attentive but not overbearing which we liked. Very energetic atmosphere. BYOB is a great plus.

Enjoyed a delicious quick meal with a friend. The wonton soup was so good with the thinnest wonton wrappers I have had in a long time. My friend's chicken pad Thai looked good and I really enjoyed my sushi roll. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was quiet.

Great vibes and delicious food. Portions were very generous and well priced. The ambiance is chic but not stuffy, allowing conversations to flow with no interference from other tables. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable of the food options.

An absolutely phenomenal dining experience. My wife and I came here for our date night. We ordered the sushi and sashimi combo and crab salad, and the veekoo special broth ramen with pork loin. The sashimi tuna, salmon were pretty thick cuts and we thoroughly enjoyed each cut. The ramen was very flavorful and had so much flavor punch. We can't stop thinking about it a day later. It was pretty busy for the night but our server was able to periodically check on us. Maybe they are bringing their A-game prior to Valentine's. Overall we loved the quality of Veekoo and will absolutely recommend it.

Delicious sushi and appetizers. Love the Sunflower, Tomo, and Million Dollars are very delicious rolls. The rock shrim is so light! The natchos are fun. But if you don't eat seafood can be limiting.

Overall a solid spot for Asian fusion. BYOB with no corkage fee is a plus, we got to bring in our favorite wine. The menu has something for everyone, even non-adventurous eaters. Clean and lively environment with good music. Waitress was quick and friendly but not overwhelming. Portions were filling and prices were fair for 2024 dining.

Every aspect of my meal at Veekoo was exceptional, from the warm and inviting decor, to the friendly and engaging service from our server (Chris) to the sushi Ava specials. I also really loved the Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp. This is my new favorite local Asian fusion restaurant. I can't wait to go back.

My experience at Veekoo was such a delight and truly exceptional. I visited for dinner with my wife, and the host kindly accommodated us by switching to a seating area that was more comfortable for her - a thoughtful gesture that, while unexpected, was deeply appreciated. The staff exhibited kindness and professionalism throughout our visit, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our recent date night are exactly why we've become regulars at Veekoo.

This was a find! We’ve been in the area for nearly 20 Years and have finally found a place where every family member is happy. A great intimate vibe, attentive wait staff, delicious dishes - flavorful, not greasy, sushi was excellent, great range of veggie and gluten free options. String beans and veggie streamed dumplings excellent!

Excellent food! Enjoyed the Veekoo Homemade Dumplings (pork and chicken). Especially enjoyed the Veekoo Signature Ramen Bowl with Roast Pork Loin and the XO Fried Rice (seasonal special). Server Chris was great, very attentive.

I went to Veekoo with my father for Christmas Day lunch. It was delicious!!! They ran out of sea urchin and our server kindly gave us the last order of it and offered other sashimi pieces to replace the second order, but we were more than happy with the one! We also got calamari, steamed pork dumplings, salmon sashimi, and oysters. When I come back I really want to get the oysters with caviar lol. Everything was very fresh and beautifully plated. It wasn’t too loud in there at all and we didn’t feel rushed whatsoever on such a big holiday. Very kind staff!

Three colleagues and I had lunch two days ago. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The waiter was quick and courteous. Each of us said that we will go there again.

The food was phenomenal. Great for sushi lovers who may have a friend or partner that would like to order something else. The service was slow but I give some grace because the poor man was so friendly but I think he was working the entire restaurant by himself. I would definitely recommend this place for a cute little date night at a great price point

Came here with my friends for the first time, we loved the ambiance and the overall vibe, the food was amazing as well, the main area for improvement for them would definitely be the service, had to ask twice for a coke and ask twice for a side of some sauces Ambiance : 5/5 Food: 5/5 Portion size: 3/5 Service : 2/5

Great food, nice ambience, and a thorough team! This is a smaller restaurant from most but I personally like inmate spaces. My husband and I enjoyed our time here.

Nice place to have a family dinner. I had General Tao's chicken, the rest of the family had sushi both were excellent. Very clean. Nice table settings. Overall really pleasant place. It's a BYOB. Well managed, easy to get to right off Lancaster avenue in Bryn Mawr. Timing was excellent for when they served the food and they brought water without even asking. A reasonably priced high quality restaurant that serves sushi and traditional Chinese dinner this is a really good restaurant in the main line for the money.

Make reservations. Great food. Nice service. Dishes come out fast. BYO. Only complaint was the lighting. So dark in there. I took a photo of the foursome next to us... they all had their phone flashlights on to read the menu.

Food is good. It comes out looking so fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very pretty and it doesn't feel like a typical strip center restaurant. The interior design is beautiful. Took off one star because the service is a little strange.

I came to this restaurant with my wife for a Valentine’s Day and it was an amazing time! The apps/desserts were delicious and the staff were super friendly! I would not recommend the Moo Shu tofu as it does not really have any taste to it. The restaurant is also BYOB which makes the experience overall better. The decor of the restaurant definitely makes it stand out of all the places in the town center and has a great vibe to it. Will be back soon!

One of the best I've eaten at. The hot and sour soup was super. Could use a tiny bit more spicy but it at least has both hot and sour taste as stated in the name. The fish in the two rolls that we got were delicious. The ingredients were all so fresh that they just melt in your mouth. The dish I got was very good too. The shrimps were large and nicely done so they are nice and crisp. All in all, very nice place. Price was reasonable too. 2023-12-15 update: Came back for the second time, Sushi and Sashimi were good but somehow I didn't get the same feeling as my previous review said. The hot and sour soup this time was horrible. It was way too thick, so thick that you can see some clumps of the flour or starch in the soup. I would definitely go back but I won't order the hot and sour soup anymore though.

Had dinner at Veekoo midweek and was surprised at the crowd. Love that it is a byob and there is plenty of free parking. There also is a small outside dining area The restaurant inside is very nicely decorated. The lighting can be a bit dim for reading the menu if you have older eyes. The tables are a bit close together and it was easy to hear everything our neighbors talked about. Service was a bit spotty with a 10-15 minute wait for soup at our table and our neighbors. When it came it was unbelievably hot and needed a good cool down. Our entrees were tasty but did not rise to a 5 star level. The shrimp portion in my partners entree was very generous. All in all a nice classy option for good Asian food.

Boujee and nice. High quality sushi. Server forgot something in our order but it was made as quickly as they could when we made them aware.

I grabbed some takeout on my way through town. The menu looked good and had some yummy & reasonably priced lunch options. Pickup was very easy and the interior made me wish I had dined in!

Met another couple here for dinner on a Friday night. Lots of parking; easy to find at night; got seated right away; server efficient. Sushi was delicious; seaweed salad too salty for my taste. Prices were decent, atmosphere quite pleasant. Will definitely return!

A very nicely decorated and designed restaurant. Service was decent. Food was ok. Nicely plated but rolls were so big you can’t fit with one bite and lacked flavor. Yellowtail jalapeño was excellent. Ramen Veeko with pork loin- meat was tender and good portion of fat, broth did not have enough salt. BYOB. Brings wine glasses and bucket in ice. Service is slow.

The food was great. Our party of four each ordered different appetizers and entrées, and everything we tried was well-prepared and delicious. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. First, the restaurant is dark—many customers, including us, ended up using our iPhones just to read the menu. It’s also extremely loud, to the point where we struggled to hear each other throughout the meal. On the night of our visit, several large tables of college students were present, and some appeared to be over-serving one another, which definitely contributed to the noise level. Lastly, service could be improved upon, as it didn’t quite match the quality of the food.

Food is acceptable but not great. The miso soup was flavorful. My pad Thai was not very flavorful. It was bland. And same thing for the scallion pancake. It tasted mostly like fried dough. The service was very good. And the decor is beautiful. I wish the food was better than the decor.

Met friend there who recommended dinner pre concert. Wife liked the wonton and spring roll. Friend had some sushi type and enjoyed it. I one other hand got pad which they blew. First brought the wrong one, the n 7 more minutes and the chicken was chewy. Rice noodles were way under cooked. We will not be back. Service was ok. Mildly noisy.

As a Mainliner from Bryn Mawr, I was particularly excited for this restaurant. Especially since the reviews were great, I expected what was being shared. However, it was lacking and I’d be remiss to not share my experience. Once we got there, we were sat on a long booth, with other tables and chairs. We were sat next to the only couple along that booth when the rest of the tables were empty. Further, we were sat at the table where it was conveniently located at the crack of the booth (The space between the two booths pushed together against the wall) and my friend had to sit on that, about 2 inch, gap. Why is there a table even offered on that section? Beats me. Then our miso soup and oysters came quickly, but then we waited nearly 40 minutes for our sushi to come out. Not to mention, the oysters came with a lemon SLICE… not a wedge or even half the lemon. Please tell me why an appetizer that is priced fairly high is being served with a slice that can barely be squeezed for any juice? Poor execution, poor service, okay food, but not for the price set. This place should be 2/5 stars. It’s concerning how many people see this establishment as anything more. I will NOT be returning and I will continue to advise others AGAINST this ripoff of a place.

Last time I will order from this restaurant, my third time, each time there were issues ordering online for pickup and most recently did not have my correct order ready and still charged me for wrong items. Food was great the first time not so great this time.

I was a bit surprised by how underwhelming the food was. We did order take out and got the Pad Thai and Miso Ramen. It was fresh and hot though! The quality of the ingredients was good, I'd just have liked more flavor in the Pad Thai. I was very disappointed and a bit surprised by the rudeness of whomever took my order over the phone when right before they hung up I heard them say, "you could had just ordered it online." I prefer to call in my take out orders. I was taken back by that and frankly it made me not want to patron this establishment.

K
Kimberly

Was very disappointed in my takeout order. I ordered a small wonton soup ($5) and the chicken and broccoli entree ($21). For that price, I really expected higher quality. My chicken and broccoli was in a wet, watery sauce — barely any brown garlic sauce. The ratio of chicken to broccoli was also very off. There was so much broccoli and barely any chicken. I directly reached out to the restaurant via their website and heard nothing back so here’s my review. Make your dishes match your prices.

We had a 9:00 PM reservation, and I understand there was a 15-minute grace period, so we arrived at 9:15 PM because my partner had a phone call before arriving. We walked in at 9:15, just as the clock hit 9:16. We were promptly told we could not be seated because it was "beyond the grace period." I explained to the hostess that we were literally walking in as the time passed by one minute and that there was still plenty of time before the restaurant closed at 10:00 PM. However, the hostess was adamant that we wouldn’t be seated, saying it was because he wanted us to have the "full dining experience" since the kitchen would stop taking orders soon. I offered a simple solution — that he could have just informed us that the kitchen was closing soon, and we would have ordered immediately once seated. Instead, we were given a series of excuses that felt increasingly unnecessary, and I began to feel that our situation was being handled poorly. We expressed this and the hostess, who also said he was the manager, said he would need to ask us to leave if we continued to push back. After some back and forth, the hostess reluctantly agreed to seat us. We quickly placed our order, ate swiftly, and left long before closing time, but the experience had already been tainted. The hostess later returned to our table with the General Manager on the phone to apologize, but my partner refused the call. The hostess then returned a bit later with a $20 gift card and a free dessert, but we left both on the table. We didn’t need compensation; we simply wanted to enjoy our meal in a stress-free environment. Looking back, I wish we had just left when we were initially turned away, as the whole ordeal completely ruined the experience for us. While the food itself was decent, the service and the unnecessary drama over a one-minute difference left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I can’t help but feel that the way we were treated wasn’t representative of the restaurant’s true potential. It’s a shame because we had looked forward to dining here, but unfortunately, we left with a sour taste that no dessert or gift card could fix. EDIT: In response to owners response - We did NOT return recently after this experience... that was a lie and I'm unsure why that was said. The hostess admitted he handled the situation wrong and admitted management has been putting pressure on them to get staff out at a reasonable time at the end of the night and that's why the technicality of ONE minute made a difference. I stated that we were late. Denying a customer for a ONE minute technicality is ridiculous.
