I ordered off Door Dash and had a issue with Sonic not seeing our order in the system. Door Dash app stated the order was confirmed by Sonic. The GM Journey worked with the Dasher and both the GM and Door Dasher Darin made sure we was able to get our order fresh. I don't know where the issue was in the system but I'm glad they took the time to get my order.

The absolute best strawberry lime made with watermelon added that you can get on a hot sunny day!
Quick, hot, and they still have happy hour prices. Staff was courteous place was clean.

It was beyond hot on the Fourth of July. Jacob was beyond patient and super helpful. He held all the things while helping me pay on the screen. I wanted to tip, but it didn’t offer that option, so I wanted to come on here and give the biggest shoutout to JACOB. Your customer service skills are excellent. I imagine people on the fourth might have been hot and hungry, but your kindness was shining. Thank you again. I never go to Sonic, because of one bad experience at South Park meadows, but Jacob’s service has me wanting to make the drive to Buda if I get that Sonic craving. Thank you.

I looked this place up because I've never been here before. I saw alot of bad reviews about this place but it was close and I decided to go. The experience was good. I didnt have to wait long. The sonic workers kept repeating my order back to me as if they wanted to make sure they got my order right. They did! The food was good and I am satisfied with my experience at this location.
I ordered a chili cheese fritos wrap and a green apple slush with jolly ranchers. The wrap was delicious, but my slush was watered down and almost already melted. It also took them about 5 minutes just to respond to the button and take my order. The staff was very courteous and polite though, and did the best they could to make it right. Which I definitely appreciated.
Employees are generally friendly and helpful. Service times are inconsistent, sometimes super quick and other times very slow. My orders have usually been accurate, but one thing that drives me a little crazy is that they often won't offer condiments, so I have to specifically ask for every condiment I want, including the ones that are supposed to come with items (like cheese for the pretzel or frosting for the cinnabon bites).
I usually come through and just grab a slushie or some kind of shake. Sometimes we have cravings to come through and grab onion rings and other things The service hasn't always been great it's usually a wait sometimes I wish the prices were a little bit better. I'll still probably end up coming by but it won't always be a regular thing.
Wow, today was one of the best experiences I have ever had at this location. I won’t lie I did wait for a good amount of time, but the service was friendly and definitely quicker than normal. The guy who brought my order was very sweet. Looks like this sonic is getting better by the day!
I used my C.C but The team member didn't check the 🆔 for the card .. this may not seem like a big deal to some, but the reason behind checking ID is to make sure it's not a stolen C.C The C.C specifically states to check 🆔
I haven't been to a Sonic for a long time, so while out running errands, decided to try it out again. The service was excellent. I ordered a #1 smash burger combo, with fries and a cherry limeade. The drink was delicious, the photo is after I drank half of it while driving home. lol. The fries were ok. I got their queso, it was good, but I think they need to offer chips to go with the queso. The main item- the burger. It wasn't what I expected. I opened it after I got home. I got photos after I ate part of it. The burger tasted kind of ok. The photos will tell it all. I feel they need to improve the presentation of that burger. The photo of the box after I removed the burger out of it. Recently I tried their new - pickle tots, amd sad to say they don't taste like pickles. They are just sprinkled with a little dill seasoning and even with that they don't taste like pickles.
I came to the store at around 12:15 pmish and it was busy, but not outrageously busy. I went to the "park abd order" area, and pushed the button to get my order taken, and it took about 4 minutes, if not longer, before someone came over the intercom to take my order. She kind of abruptly ended our conversation, before I had said I was completely finished. It wasn't a HUGE deal whatsoever. I don't actually believe this girl had poor customer service based off this experience- I just think it was busy.
Got my favorites but they weren't fresh. Old, overcooked tater tots, and soft corn dogs but the French toast sticks were decent. The girl with the colored hair who brought out my food was really nice and put a smile on my face so I wish I had cash to tip her. You know Sonic advertises tipping the car hops but I don't think there's an option to tip after paying with a card...
The kid at the window days " be careful it is full." I opened the lid. He must be kidding. The blast was only two thirds full in the cup. They are also slow at this location. I like the food, but you will have to wait a bit. However, don't order a meal and ice cream. By the time you get the order the ice cream will have melted and be a mess.
I placed an order (single burger) on the app about 15mins before my arrival. It was not ready when I arrived which was not a big deal, the car hop looked like he was working way too hard. After checking in it said the order was coming out to me, after 5 mins of waiting I pressed the red button and asked the employee how much longer it would be. She said I was checked in then ended the communication. After waiting a couple more minutes I pressed the button again and told the lady that answered I am in a rush and must leave so I'd like a refund. She asked me to repeat myself so I did and she ended the communication as I elaborated. I know these employees are working hard but it'd be nice to have better communication.
Service has gotten worse each year. App orders are almost always wrong. Food quality is just okay.
Ordered via DoorDash. The pickle “fries” were more like a pickle ball (and I’m not talking the sport) with some batter still not done. The mozzarella sticks weren’t fresh, and the dasher was prompt, so it wasn’t on them. The chili dog was one of the better ones I’ve had from a Sonic, and the sauces were in the bag. The last two things are the only reason why it’s not a one star rating. I don’t want anything in return, just do better Sonic.
Every time I've ordered online to pick up food it's been a bad experience. I'll order, get there and check in, and it will be 20+ minutes before I finally push the ref button to inquire about my order. (food or drink doesn't matter) I've waited for 30 minutes before someone finally brought anything out. Pointless to order online when you get your order after people that have driven up after you. People that order at the stall get their food before you when you've ordered ahead. Food is mediocre at best. Everything is dry and overcooked. I'd rather drive to the sonic on 1626 to get anything. It would honestly take less time to go to that one, order, get your food, and come back than to get food at this location.
Went just before closing and I totally understand when the crew is ready to leave, but good service should happen from the first order to the last! We ordered from the app, indicated we were there and made a correction via a live person. The order took soooo long. They forgot about us twice. We finally got our order and there were no condiments offered or available. Tired of waiting and hungry, we just left.
Rude staff. Had a 99¢ drink coupon and they tried charging me $1.61 saying that the tax was 61 cents. And gave a sour attitude when I pointed out that on the receipt it showed .12¢ tax. No big deal, just don't have to be rude. Also still sitting here almost ten minutes later waiting on them to "figure out" how to ring it in correctly.
Not a good road stop! I WAS going to order a meal but when they said everything is taking 15 minutes and actually said "Did you still want to order?" That should have been my clue to leave. But I responded, "even a drink will take 15 minutes?" And she said, "oh OK, what kind of drink?" I ordered a Route 44 Cherry Limeade, paid and STILL waited 15 minutes for just ONE beverage. You would have thought I had ordered a really fancy drink requiring a trained bartender or something to wait that long.
Ordered one shake through the app. 15-minutes after checking in at the stall, still not delivered. Pressed the "red button", waited 5-minutes and no one answered. Flagged someone down as they were delivering to the car next to us. They brought the shake right out. I suspect there is a problem with their ability to to know when someone checks in. Can't explain the slow response to the button call.
This is twice that I’ve driven up and ordered! Service is slow and when I asked for ketchup, Guy on speaker said they had run out of it!! What manager lets that happen?? So I ask for BBQ sauce…which none is brought to my car. There were no napkins brought out, either! This is crazy!! This location sits right off of I 35 and it should be operating more efficiently!!
Slowest sonic ive ever been to. Could have just gone to a dine in restaurant. Spent half of my lunch waiting for food. You dont go to a fast food restaurant because its amazing food. You go because its quick and convenient. This was average fast foot that was anything but fast....gave this place another chance. Went to drive through. To cars in front of me ordered and got their orders while i was still waiting at the speaker. Sat there for so long with no response the car behind me left then i left. Not worth even trying anymore. This is the worst sonic. Dont waste your lunch break here
Friends smash burger good, but my "crispy "chicken sandwich wasn't .It looked like 3 days before grilled in the last of the oil . I threw it away. Young man who took order, and brought it out was very nice. I won't go back for myself.
I work next door to this sonic so i usually come here on my lunch break for a drink. I always mobile order because its just more convenient for me plus i like the discount. I cant say how many times exactly but multiple times including today i get to the stall, check in and watch other cars getting their order before me. There have been days where ive had to drive to a different stall or go to the drive thru and let them know ive been waiting over 10 minutes for my 1 drink. My lunch break is only 30 minutes. Other days i have to just drive off forfeiting the money i just spend and the drink because im running late. Again today, checked in and waited over 10 minutes PAST my scheduled time for my drink and it never came. I had to drive off because my lunch break was over. I never leave reviews ever, but im truly fed up because this is not the 1st time ive had to leave
Sat at the stall pushed button 20 minutes no answer. Several other came and left. As I was pulling away finally heard someone ask if the could help me. Not sure what's going on. But my grandmother was real good friends with the owners back in the 90s and 2000s. If the family still owns it I know they are rolling over in their Graves. The service never has been consistently this bad spread out over multiple stores.
Worst Sonic I've been to! Will never ever return. We waited over twenty minutes and never had anyone take our order. We even had to push the button again because it timed out. The cars beside me waited over thirty minutes for their order. One of them only ordered two drinks and it was wrong. I left and went to a sonic in Austin. Had no problems at the one in Austin. Maybe they could learn from them. Don't eat here unless you don't care about wasting time. Id give a -1 star if I could.
This Sonic is consistently bad Update-I have lived in the area for around 2 and a half years now. There are times that I would like a drink and don't feel like driving to the other Sonic all the way across town, so I try to give this one a chance and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. there is something wrong whether it be unsweet tea instead of sweet, the fountain drinks being consistently low on syrup so you get a cup full of soda water, or just plain getting your order wrong. I hate to be this negative, but it is well deserved. I hope this location improves! The other Sonic in town is ALWAYS great!
I ordered on my app, about 8:30am. Sat and waited about 10mins while seeing my order was in the kitchen. Then a employee came to my car and said they are not open till 10am. That I could cancel on my app, he didn't know how, but to do that. THERE IS NO CANCEL. I would like my 7.70 back, since I didn't get served! They should disable the app, if the store decides to change their hours.
Ordered 3 Rt 44 Cherry Limeades on app...pulled into stall, gave stall number on app and then proceeded to wait...and wait...and wait. It finally said a server was on her way with our order; however no one showed up with our drinks. Cars all around us that came after us were being served and our stall was lit up and working. I pressed the call button multiple times and no one answered. I finally flagged down a server and she was like ohhh was that a make ahead order. I replied yes and she said ok let me check on that and get it out. We waited another 8 min before it came out. We were there a total of over 25 min waiting for 3 drinks (and no, they were not that busy). This is not the first time this has happened to us at this particular Sonic, sadly...but it will be the last. I will go to a different Sonic or QT's down the road!
Drive thru service was terrible. The person in front of me and behind me were able to place their orders, however I was not. I even pulled up the the window and still nobody greeted me. I then went inside to see what the problem was and they said there was only one person in drive thru and their the sensor doesn’t always work. I returned to my car and another gentleman greeted me at the window to tell me everybody is waiting, but when I explained that I was too. I then asked for the store number and he didn’t know. Don't go here run! The young lady that took my order was very rude. I ordered a medium jumbo popcorn chicken. I received a half box of hard little pieces of fried batter. Manager came to my car gave me a fake name and a new small medium popcorn chicken replacement. He could care less about my complaint. When passing through this cute little town please keep going don't stop at this Sonic you won't regret it.
One of the worst Sonic's you could possibly choose in this area, they're consistently slow. I recall a few occasions where I've had to wait 30+ minutes for them to even respond to me when I pressed the button, sometimes 30 more minutes waiting on the order to be brought out. The drinks are pretty good... when they get them right, I ordered a regular Sprite not that long ago and it tasted like a diet, I also ordered 2 diet Dr. Peppers for my brother and they only brought out 1. There's also been a couple instances where I ordered the Brownie Batter milkshake and it did not taste like brownie batter. I recommend driving a little farther out to the one at 3200b FM 967, they've been much better both in speed and quality of their products in my experience. I've ordered the brownie batter shake there and it tasted much more like actual brownie.
I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and always try to avoid this sonic. Every time I’ve been here in the past 5 years I have had a terrible experience. I’ve waited for 20 minutes or they get my order completely wrong. Doesn’t matter if it’s drive thru or speaker box or app it’s always just awful. Every other sonic is great! Not sure why this one always seems to suck so much
By far the worst sonic I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried not to comment on this location but today literally made me mad beyond no means. On several times I have stuff missing from my order. I never call because they make it apparent that they could care less. The big red float I ordered was disgustingly watered down. I asked for a second to review the order and the dude on the intercom just got louder when saying “welcome to sonic how can I help you” I advised I needed another second as I just pulled up. And when I was ready I received NO REPLY and asked several times if they could hear me. Again with no response. There were 3 cars in front of me and all cleared out when I just decided to drive to the window and place my order there. There has been several issues that I’ve experienced at this location and today just took it overboard for me.
Burgers from here taste like they are freezer burned. They put kids size burgers on their quarter pound double burger. Kids don't know what freezer burn taste like. But we do. The tater tots were over cooked and tasted like they were reheated. And the coneys meat were green. Talk about green hotdogs . 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Waited 5+ minutes for someone to take my order and ended up leaving. Visited again a few days later after ordering on the app, checked in, got cut off and told in a dismissive tone that my order would be out shortly after waiting 20 minutes, pressed the button again at 40 minutes after submitting a complaint on the app and got the room temperature food at 45 minutes 🥳🎉👏
I'm used to waiting for a while at this location but today I waited 58 minutes for 3 drinks. That is ridiculous around the 45 minute mark I waved an employee down and still took over 10 minutes to bring out 3 drinks. Guess that's expected when it seems a bunch of teenagers run the place
My wife took our kids there last night after seeing a movie. They had a few cars waiting on orders but they weren’t busy by any stretch of the imagination. We placed our order and the wait began. As we looked around, as you usually do while waiting, we noticed one employee sitting next to another car talking. We paid it no mind until 30 minutes had passed and our order was still wasn’t out. When our Oder arrived everything looked correct so we left without incident. My eldest daughter took a single sip of her drink and immediately yelled that it was disgusting. We were already too far away to go back so we explained that we would get her another drink. Her drink was supposed to be a cherry slush with nerds. Instead it was a possible slush loaded with chocolate syrup. This location has always struggled but this was the worst experience I have ever had.
pulled up to the stall and waited for 10 min before the told us they weren’t taking orders through the stalls, only the drive-thru. i ordered a large mozzarella stick and a small m&m blast. they gave us a medium mozzarella and a blast with no m&ms. good job guys. the previous times the food was no good either.
Me and my husband went to get shakes because we were craving some and thought about sonic. We ordered and at the window the girl was rude. Another problem was when we got our shakes we had no cherry on top and both of our shakes did not come how they were supposed to. Once we got home we realized the girl at the window did not give our change back. It was a full dollars worth. This is not the first time I have had a problem at this sonic.
It's unfortunate to see how many stars this location has. The food and drinks are all the same as the ones of any other location. However the kitchen staff don't seem to be able to make the correct orders nor do they seem to be managed well. I've gone there about 5 times asking for the same drink and not once have they ever made correctly when it's clearly on the menu. I don't mean to complain but it's more worth your time to go to the one on the corner of 967 and 1626.
Wife and I stopped at this location at 9:45am. We ordered 2 drink. Price was over $6. When carhop brought them out. We asked "When does happy hour end" answer "10am" So we asked is this happy Hour pricing. She said yes and walked off. Looked at receipt. We were charged full price. So watch out!!!!!
I stopped at sonic to pick up some ice for a birthday party thinking it would be a quick trip. I placed my order for 3 bags of ice and after 15 minutes no ice. Gradually the severs would come out with one bag of ice looking around for who it might belong to, I would tell them I actually ordered three.. the would return to the building with the ice never to come back. Finally one employee gave me her bag of ice and told me she would go get the rest…never to come back. Still waiting on my ice.
THE WORST SONIC EVER! You order and your food NEVER SHOWS UP!
Wow. I'm here now and reading the reviews and the same is happening to me. Been waiting over 10 minutes only for one shake. I even dialed the 888 number in the previous responses to report this and I'm still waiting only for one shake. They're about to hear it from me personally. This is ridiculous. The manager needs to be fired if this issue hasn't been fixed.
First stall pressed button and no answer. Seems like it may have possibly not been working. Drive in to 2nd stall and that one has a small not working sign. Ok so third stall is completely blank. Should’ve just left but tried the drive thru. Greeted by person taking our order. Place order for 3 sundaes and a shake. No response from the person. Continue to ask if they can hear us, and no response. One person only had been ahead of us and had just driven off from the window, so stupidly decided to just go to the window and ask there in case the speaker went out. Nope. Greeted by a young girl that seemed nice, but upon explaining that we weren’t sure if they could hear us on the speaker and asking if we could order the sundaes and shake, she says oh our ice cream and shake machines are down. Really? Not the first time I’ve been to this location for ice cream and they say that. But it’ll be the last time I visit them for anything. Went down to Freddie’s and got quick friendly service and everything we asked for.
Super slow always. Not one person at this location can figure out how to make a frozen lemonade. They don't greet you either at the drive thru til they are ready to either tell u to pull up and wait or until the foods done and they practically throw you the wrong order
Usually never post anything but worst customer service experience. Waited about 8 mins on drive thru and no help, then went to park and another 5 minutes to order. Paid and then someone comes and asks for my card stating they had to charge me inside. and 15 minutes to get my order. For 2 drinks.
(If I could give them a half a star I would) I came to the sonic in buda off IH35 and ordered at stall #17 at 4:30pm. My order was small just 6 corn dogs , med fry, and small order of the ched r peppers. Paid for it and on the screen it said ‘on the way’ but it never came, and then the screen went back to order again at 5pm other cars were ordering and receiving their food before me. By that time I was waiting 30 minutes and I figured it was fine since they were busy. But I was worried my order was given to a different car. I pressed the button and asked how much longer for my food now a different person than the one that took my order answered and made me repeat my order she apologize and entered it in again (I thought) . It was 5:38pm still waiting for my order I would’ve drove off but I had already paid. The car next to me left by now and they ordered 30 corn dogs and then sum, so I pressed the red button again at 5:38pm. Someone answered again a different person and ask if I could hold.. then I heard her voice on the stall next to mine taking their order! Very frustrating especially since I had been waiting since 4:30pm. I told her my order again (now 3 times ordering) and she said someone would bring it out. I then asked for a refund. The whole time I’ve been in the same stall never changed lanes nor my order. She sounded irritated and said someone is bringing it out. I asked for refund and she asked if I have my receipt so they can refund me and I told her I never received a receipt since it comes with the food. I paid through the stall so they should have the amount that I paid a little after 4:30pm. The manager then comes out to talk to me. He said “ you should see how busy it is in there” not even taking the time to apologize or look up my order. He said he couldn’t track it down and kept asking if I had ordered through the app. He asked how much my order was I told him 10.83 he brought the food out and my cash. As I was driving away I looked in my bag and didn’t receive part of my order. They left out 3 corn dogs. I will not be going back to this sonic again bad customer service, order was wrong and it took well over an hour for my food. It’s as if they didn’t believe that I was there for over an HOUR!! Or that they didn’t believe I ordered/paid since they kept asking for a receipt. Wish things were handled differently by the staff and the manager.
Waited 45 minutes for a single drink and mozzarella sticks. Pressed the button after waiting 15 minutes “I’m sorry we’ll have that right out”. Pressed the button again after waiting 30 minutes, they said the same thing. Called the store after 45 minutes. Then someone came out with the wrong order. Still have nothing. I would give zero stars if I could
This Sonic used to be fast & friendly. Not sure what happened, but they take a long time to get the orders out now. Even when ordering in the app. Twice I checked in & sat there waiting at a stall & nothing. After 20 min I went through the drive thru & complained about the wait time.. the guy gave me a free drink chip. Really???
I waited 20 min before someone came on to get my order. She apologized, said they were short staffed, and said it would be another 10 to 15 min before they could get my order. I only wanted 2 drinks. I realized they took care of the drive thru very quickly. Maybe it needs to be turned into drive thru only
This has got to be the worst Sonic EVER in terms of service. If I could give 0 stars I would. They are ALWAYS slow here, but tonight took the cake. I ordered a large Dr Pepper, a small strawberry shake and a medium Oreo shake. NO FOOD. I waited over 20 minutes for our drinks only to have them give me a busted cup on the Oreo shake that proceeded to leak all over my daughter as we were pulling out of the parking space. We pull back in & let them know we were given a broken cup. It has been 30 MINUTES and I am STILL waiting for our Oreo shake. I pushed the red button just now to let them know I was STILL waiting for my shake & was told there is a wait on ice cream. !?!??!?!? Would have been nice to have been told that when I told them our cup was broken. Over 50 minutes for 1 shake. RIDICULOUS
This is the second time an employee has stole money from me. Do not come to this location with cash, only pay with card. The first time that someone stole money from me I circled back around the drive-through and told them they didn’t give me my change and he pulled the money out From his pocket in the correct amount of change. And just earlier, the girl did not give me my change back but giving that my baby was fussy in the backseat and it was Only a dollar, I just left. Regardless of the amount, this is dishonest, and I would never recommend anyone to come here at this location. The owner definitely needs to investigate, unless they are in on it too. Seriously just a bunch of thieves if 2 different people on separate occasions have stole. They definitely have talked about it if they each have the same technique. They make you wait hoping you forget the amount it seems
Consistently rude when taking orders and never seem to have toppings for the ice cream/shakes. Orders are lucky to be correct. I've even been here with more than an hour before they close, and they tell me they've stopped doing ice cream for the day and was turned away. Several times this has occurred. Easily the worst Sonic location I've ever been to.
I rarely stop at this Sonic location, and now I remember why. Service is horrible and has not changed. I ordered on the mobile app. Pulled into a stall and entered my number. I could see and follow along on the screen the progress of my order. Screen shows that my order is being delivered, but I waited over 10 minutes after that and still had not received my order. It was almost 20 minutes in total. I finally had to move to a stall with a working speaker to call about my order. My toddler grandsons were starting to cry.
Food is mediocre at best and took ages to arrive. We sat in drive through and watched as several ice creams melted, which then had to be remade. People were driving off angrily as the wait time was extreme. I know we easily waited half an hour for two combo meals. The workers look downtrodden so I'm assuming it must be pretty terrible to work here. There were a ton of workers but none of them looked happy and seemed annoyed that they were here.
Went to this sonic at about 11:20 at night, and ordered only a big red. Took at least 15 minutes of waiting for me to go to the drive through and tell the staff I was /still/ waiting for the drink and they told me they would have it at the window. 20 minutes later, (still not at the window) the drive through cashier comes out to my car and asks me what my order was and brings it out after going back inside, without the straw. I asked for a manager, and was told they were busy. Would give 0 Stars if I could.
Man why are places like this called fast food. They take FOREVER every time. All 3 times, tiny orders. 30+ min everytime. Restaurant service is faster. Crazy.
Save yourself the trouble and go to the other Buda Sonic on 967. This location is so incredibly slow every time I've come, it's not worth it. You'd be to the other location and back in the time it takes to get a simple drink order over here.
No more will I tip before receiving my entire purchase again. So many times I pay with my card...tip nicely..get my food home and something i ordered is missing. Won't happen again!
It’s a joke. Having to yell at the drive through microphone only for the crew to get your order wrong… again. Absolutely pathetic when it comes to customer attitude especially from whoever was working the window on April 22nd at 6:22. Seriously a joke. I like sonic but this location is a JOKE.
Ordered 4 corn dogs and everyone of them waste burnt beyond recognition and in edible. It would have been nice to actually have food to eat when I got back to work. Pathetic that they give this kind of food to customers
Worst experience ever! I recently received a buger from this store, and the burger was completely destroyed like the hamburger patty was crumbled into pieces. They tried slapping some cheese on it and calling it a day. They didn't even give me a bottom bun they gave me two top buns. When I reached out to customer services, I was told they could give me a coupon to give a free burger with a purchase of another item. This was incredibly disappointing, I spend a lot of money at Sonic on a weekly basis, and this is how valued customers get taken care of.. so sad.
I feel as though they are terrible on purpose. I ordered a oreo blast and it ended up having strawberries in it. Another time it's like they made the shake and let it melt before handing it to me, it was hardly cold! Ordered a cheesecake master shake and the thing wasn't mixed so my first sip was pure cheese cake liquid that tasted like sour milk. Ordered a rootbeer and the ice tasted like dirt making the whole thing taste like dirt. And I don't understand why ordering 1 item takes forever when there are hardly any customers around.
They gave us cold food and when I asked the lady nicely if she can make it fresh she rolled eyes and said I'll be back with an attitude as well. I can not even rate it because that's how bad it was. The lady that came out was very nice and that was the only nice part about it.
Waited almost 25 minutes to get my order, my food was lightly warm and the hamburger buns were soggy. Then I ordered a strip dinner, very disappointing what I got instead of what’s shown on the menu board. For almost paying $10 the strip dinner consisted of 3 small skinny strips inside of a thin paper pouch, a small side of tots and a medium drink filled of ice to the top. What happened to the old strip dinner that has good size strips and fries, gravy and even toast? On the menu it shows it supposedly comes with that but when I asked about the gravy the person on the speaker was rude and said they don’t carry gravy anymore. Well then fix your menu boards! Very disappointing!
I just left this establishment and literally had my food tossed aggressively at my significant other. The young server had a terrible attitude, was very rude, and didn’t say any words upon coming to the window. She either needs to be written up, talked to by a manager about this issue, or quit her job if she’s this dissatisfied with life. People don’t deserve to be treated this way, especially at Sonic. Horrible experience.
Was in line waiting to order at the speaker when a tall girl, looked like a manager since she was in all black with a hat yelled at us to pull up. We figured the speaker was down. Got to the window, waited 10 minutes and no one came to take our order. We then thought that maybe the manager meant pull up to a car hop stall unit and order there. We were wrong again. We then waited another 12 minutes here with the button blinking and still no one took our order. By this time the drive through was moving along and we were the only ones who didn’t get our order taken much less anyone acknowledge that we were there. So, we jumped on 35 and headed to the Kyle location where we were promptly greeted and had our order taken with wonderful service. I get it, it was a busy time… but several employees made eye contact and no one took the time to say “hey, be right with you” and when other cars started getting help this was our breaking point
Don't place an order in the app. They've forgot about my order multiple times. Tonight, they put me immediately on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up and had to call back. They finally brought me my order 30 minutes after placing it and everything was melted. And said their ice cream machine was broken and so I asked for a refund
I ordered and paid for this but got a regular shake...lol Then when I asked about my order.. "Sorry were closed"..... Mad and frustrated, but glad to know how lazy and and easily this attitude of arrogance they displayed that night. Told my friends and family not to come here anymore.....
I paid for my food on Uber Eats when I showed up to get it they indicated they didn’t get my order. They also didn’t give me a refund or make my order. They refused to help in anyway.
***UPDATE*** I have downgraded my review from two stars to one. This Sonic continues to disappoint. I’ve brought my dog with me multiple times so that she can get a wag cup while I get a sweet treat for my husband and myself. Several times it has not been a problem. I ask for one and they bring it out free of charge. This time, I asked for one and the girl said “I’m pretty sure we charge for those.” I said that’s fine but she said she would go ask inside. She comes back out and says that they do charge for them. I ask how much it is and she responds “I didn’t check. I didn’t even know we had them. I’m new” Ok, so how did she know they were supposed to be charged if she didn’t even know they had them. I told her it was fine and that I would do without one because it was blatantly obvious that she didn’t want to make one—a tiny cup of whipped cream. I’m positive that I won’t be back as this little treat for my family and dog were the only reason I came here anyways. Usually this sonic is pretty good, with decent service and good food. Tonight, the person taking orders was so rude for no reason. He sounded like a teenager blitzed out of his mind. When I told him the order on the screen was incorrect, and tried to correct him several times, he just said “Uhhuh.” I just left at that point. It sucks because this sonic is so close to Sunfield, but if the service continues this way, I won’t be back!
I ordered in the app two drinks. I check in wait 15 mins. I called the store and the guy tells me there is a car ahead and to wait a few more mins. Meanwhile, I have been observing people ordering from stalls and getting their drinks and food. So about 6 mins later, I call. This time a girl answers and I tell her that I want to cancel my order and I tell her my observations about other people ordering through the stalls and not the app are getting their meals and she stays quiet and doesn't say anything. The same thing happened when the 1st guy answered. I tell the girl to cancel my order and return my money. It felt like they were not even concern about the problem.
I ordered 2 burgers on the mobile app and requested changes to one burger of no tomatoes, ketchup or onions. When I arrived they took a while and even then they gave me my burger with everything I didn’t want on it.
Don’t go to this Sonic. Multiple times I have ordered by mobile app and when an item isn’t available that absolutely refuse to refund the money spent. They tell you to go through the app or customer service number. But when you call customer service, you will be told it can’t be refunded through them. Sonic straight up steals the money. This wasn’t just once but multiple times. Buyer beware if using mobile app.
I had a terrible experience. My total was $10.05, I gave them $50.25, and waited for my change. They didn't come back, so I spoke on the intercom. A girl came and threw a coin at me. I pressed the button again to ask for change ($40), and another guy came and rudely gave me another coin. I told him I had given her $50, and he said no, until they realized I was right. They sent another guy to give me the change. They treated me badly and basically threw the coins at me when they were the ones who made the mistake. I hope they work on improving their service.
Sonic sucks. No matter where you eat it. Drink machines all need a good detail clean. Soda tastes bad cause nozzles aren't properly cleaned.
Waited 20 minutes for two slushies which were ordered online...... The young man was very rude.... And a female walking around with black and pink hair with braids and the bottom is not in a hairnet how disgusting and unprofessional....
literally made us wait 20+ minutes for 2 drinks. reminded them twice they came out with only one drink and forgot the other and then went to get the second drink and that took another 10 minutes. horrible service #cancelled
Ordered a chili dog. It was good. Double cheeseburger. Was horrible, ordered medium fry and they were over cooked. I asked for another fry. They put Fresh fries on top and over cooked fries on the bottom.
Your employees are lazy. Went there to pick up food for delivery they brought it to me, no cars in lot, went a 2nd time they doing want to bring it to my car like every other sonic does. Every Sonic I go to they have no problem bringing food out. You guys need to all have one standard and stick with it and quit changing it. Sometimes I've been to other sonics and they want you to go through the drive-through so I want you to walk in some want you to go to the stall. Seriously pick at least one option and just stick with it.
Incompetent! This sonic has coffee on their menu and they tell me they don’t sell hot coffee. I also ordered a supersonic breakfast burrito and it’s not made correctly and tastes horrible. It looks like it’s burnt bacon and eggs, may have a tot or two in it but that’s it. Probably about half the size and ingredients of what’s supposed to be in it. AVOID THIS LOCATION.
I don’t usually stop at Sonic because they’re hit or miss and boy did this one miss! We ordered 2 drinks (one blueberry lavender lemonade, one diet limeade), and one pretzel with cheese. Both drinks we got were wrong. We received a cherry limeade, which hate, and a sweet topped natural lemonade, which was way too sweet for our taste. Then, our pretzel had no cheese. So the only correct thing from our order was the actual pretzel. I can understand if the drinks we ordered (online) were not available but no one came to ask us about switching them to something else and we didn’t bother knocking on their door since we did the mobile pick up spot because we needed to hit the road. The wait was kind of long too for 2 drinks and 1 pretzel.
I’ve been to this sonic multiple times .. not sure if they got new staff but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. We were in the drive thru sitting there repeating a 2 meal order to the guy about 7 times . Cool we then get to the window maybe another 10 mins sitting there till we honk & the guy opens the window take our payment … and then 5ish mins later hands us our food . I look it’s 2 blue raspberry slushies when it was one blue & one strawberry.. I would think the amount of times we had to repeat the order it wouldn’t be wrong .. we ask for the correct slushy I get it and it’s completely clear meaning there was no type of syrup or fruit in it ..I ask the kind young man outside with dreads if he could help me and he kindly fixed my slushy .. thank you sir 🙂 ! Other than that the experience we had with the young Hispanic man at the window was absolutely terrible. Food also was not good . As a past sonic employee I was in disbelief.
This has now happened on multiple occasions. I placed a mobile order, checked in, and waited over 40 minutes without receiving my food. I had to ask an employee about it, was made to wait another 20 minutes, and when I finally received my order, it was poorly assembled and some items were stale. Additionally, my order was marked as "completed" before I ever received anything, which has now happened more than once. I also attempted to call the posted phone number for assistance, but no one answered. While my family enjoys Sonic overall, I cannot recommend this location for anything beyond a quick drink.
It took too long to take my order the person who took the order was in a very bad mood. The order was wrong, cold and they did not want to fix my order and bring me what I had asked for. I am dismayed because it was a good option to have a quick dinner and continue on my way. I definitely do not recommend it
