We won’t be back to Zaxbys in Buda. I ordered a 10 piece and a 5 piece meal and received 8 tenders total when I checked everything at home- 1 box had sides we didnt order. My bad for not checking right away, but I’ve been on my last straw with this place- theres plenty of options for chicken tenders close by- save your money for some place that actually gets the order right, eh?

I guess they’re right you should read the review before trying something new. This doesn’t even come close to canes one and done for sure. It’s really expensive and you’ll be hungry after.

We have been here a few times. The tenders are small constantly, orders incorrect even after reading them back, and if you are charging for extra or large, you should actually include the change. Extremely upset that it has been a consistent let down and will not be returning.

I just sat in the drive through with no one in line for 20 mins for a SALAD. no communication that there would be a wait either. It’s not fast food at all. I could only imagine if I ordered some chicken wings :/ I won’t go there again. Definitely fell behind on my own plans trying to get food from here.

I wanted to love it. I tried this place when they first opened years ago, didn’t like my food. Just went back To give them a second chance cause I was craving buffalo chicken strips. And my meal is extremely disappointing. Chicken strips suck. They are tough and dry, fry’s are floppy and are bland in some bites and way too salty others. I would’ve been better off getting chicken strips ANYWHERE else and dipping them in buffalo sauce.

We ordered chicken fingers and wings. Both sucked. Food obviously not fresh. Wings were dry, way overcooked and very small, the sweet tea was OK🫥 It's was a rainy day. So there was either leaks in the ceiling or the AC system had condensation. It was my first time here and my last

We visited the location in Buda, TX at 381 Old San Antonio Rd today and were looking forward to an easy meal and not having to cook. We spent $38 for 2 meals and two appetizers. The food seemed to take a really long time to come out, which was surprising, since there was no one in line ahead of us. When we arrived home and opened the food containers, all of the fried items were a very dark brown color and had a very bitter, rancid taste. I worked for years in restaurant management and immediately recognized that they were all fried in oil that was burnt and needs to be changed. This food should NEVER be served to guests, especially at a restaurant that has primarily fried items on the menu. Your Buda crew definitely needs some training. When we called the store to ask for a refund, the manager said that they could not issue one without us coming back to the store. So, what was supposed to be a relaxing night of not cooking turned into a fiasco, with us having to waste our time and drive back to give them the burnt, rancid food. Do better Buda Zaxby's. We will definitely not be returning to this location any time soon. The prices are way too high for the lack of quality and customer service.

I came through the drive through and ordered a Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich. Service was good, but when I got home and opened my box, it was so messy and quite literally everywhere. It only had two chicken tenders on it and ONLY the bottom piece of bread. Tenders were hard and definitely not easy to eat, but I’m not wasting what little money I have. To say I’m disappointed and frustrated is definitely an understatement. When I opened the box, it looked just like this. I do NOT recommend.

Their self-serve Drink Machine is obviously not maintained and cleaned properly because it sprayed syrup all over my clothes. My daughter who was with me works at a restaurant and said that it was clear that they're not cleaning it so I would probably avoid this place again altogether because if they can't clean or maintain their soda machine who knows what they do in their kitchen. I tried to address the issue with the so-called manager on duty. Apparently this wasn't the real manager and this person refused to give me the manager's full name so that I could contact this person when they return from vacation in the event that my expensive custom shirt was permanently damaged. During our conversation she admitted knowing that this machine would spray syrup out which I find even more concerning because they clearly don't care to clean it or maintain it if they knew the problem exists. This person obviously was not a manager of any kind and if they are they shouldn't be, let alone be representing this company. I certainly hope the owner of this franchise sees my review because as you could observe I'm not a low-level reviewer and I don't leave bad reviews that aren't deserved. It's a shame because the food is excellent however I will never go to this location again out of fear of getting sick and knowing that if there's any kind of issue employees treat you terribly.
