Amazing variety and so delicious horchata. We tried their special chimichanga, the vegetarian version and were not disappointed. The service was good and well taken care of. The guac and salsa was all fresh and that is how I measure my Mexican food. So, a good 5 on 5. The rates are good and they have ample parking space right outside.

So we were looking for something to eat in Buellton, and after two failed attempts (one restaurant was out of our favorite dish and the other was closed), we stumbled into this place at the Albertson's shopping center. We were so hungry and we just went for it and boy did we eat good! I ordered the Torta de carne al pastor and an horchata to drink The serving size is perfect for the cost of the food and it came with chips on the side. The chips are perfect to scoop the food that falls out of the torta. There is plenty of filling in the torta so trust me, food will squeeze out. The restaurant's atmosphere is not the greatest, and there are no servers. You order your food at the counter and it is taken to your table semi fast food style. However, the staff kept on checking on us making sure we were enjoying our food and we had all that we needed. So between the friendly staff, the few Mexican decor, and the great food; it's enough to keep me wanting to go back for more. I think I just found my new favorite spot to eat in Buellton.

We love this place! Delicious food, good salsa bar includes pickled onions and radishes. Has excellent specials. Mid service place, not fancy at all. Prices a little higher than you may expect, but worth it.

If you've never had Rudy's, do yourself a favor and get over there and order a taco. You will be a believer! I also got a carnitas burrito to go along with my shredded beef taco. I came hungry and left stuffed. The pricing I'd say is slightly more than your average taco shop, but the quality is on point with the prices. Definitely worth it Also have to mention they have a great salsa bar with 4-5 different salsas, jalapenos, pickled onions, and radishes . Staff was super friendly and service was great. I went to the Buellton location this time but they have some locations in Santa Barbara also.

Stopped here on a road trip. Great salsas! Wonderful food in a quiet medium sized location. Looked up their web page to read the story of how the family started their first location in Santa Barbara. Hats off to the Alvaro family for their food!

We found this restaurant by chance after visiting Ostrich Land. I want to start by talking about the staff - they were amazing! They were friendly, pleasant, and made us feel welcome. They helped us choose the right dishes and explained which ones were vegetarian since we were looking for vegetarian options. They also let us know that the Spanish Rice contained chicken broth. They were even willing to customize our order by removing the rice and replacing it with fajitas. Speaking of our order, we chose Chile Relleno, Poblano Taco, and Potato Taquitos. The staff kindly gave us samples of Jamaica and Horchata, knowing that we hadn't tried these drinks before. We decided on Horchata, which was fresh and refreshing. The Poblano Tacos were the best - they were really delicious. The Chile Relleno could have been better, though. We didn't expect the Chile to be battered and fried; we would have preferred it grilled. The Potato Taquitos were okay, but they were quite heavy. We also liked the self-serve salsa bar. Overall, we definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

The cashier exemplified hospitality. Super kind while running the whole front of house. Food was amazing, but we have come to expect that on the Central Coast. Carnitas Burrito was perfect. Pork tender and juicy with zero blobs of fat. Salsa bar is legendary!

Every time I'm in Goleta or going through buellton I stop at Rudy's. The salsa bar has a lot of choices and the food is delicious. The portions are so large. It feeds me twice!

First time here and I was blown away with how good the food was. The California nachos are so good. The girl asked me if I wanted to add another meat and I was like wait it says fajitas right and she said yeah. But never mentioned it had no meat. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But omg those nachos were still delicious even though they were vegetarian. 😁 we also ordered the picante burrito and oh man that is delicious too!!! I finally got to try the meat in the burrito and that was so good!!! We are only here over night so I plan to go back and get more!!! 💕 we are so glad we came here and highly recommend it.

Freaking great tacos, worth the stop! Crispy tacos are a beast and two is more than enough to be stuffed. Mind you the salsa bar, holy sauces Batman so many to choose from and all fresh!

Rudy's in Buellton, Ca has the Best Authentic Mexican Food with CONSISTENCY!!! If you order a taco or Enchilada, order one because they are quite big. Whether you order Enchiladas, tacos or a combo plate, make sure and go hungry because you will be well served and by hardworking staff!!!

Great salsa bar. They have specials for tacos on Tuesdays. I like they have choice of refried beans or vlack beans. Cruchy beef tacos are amazing. Also the enchiladas are delicious. Especially the guacamole

So I tried(1/31/26) the wet burrito with enchilada sauce but for some reason it didn't taste the same when I tried it back in 2021. I'm not so sure if they changed the recipe or if they had a different cook at the time.

This is the first time since 1970s. I will give a bad review to Rudy’s especially the Milton location ordered a burrito last night in fact two on pain close to $50 for him basically 80% being very little meat very little rice and this morning, I paid for it along with my wife. Rudy I’ve known you for a long time but this Bilton location really sucks. As much as I had to admit it even a Taco Bell breeder was better than what I had last night from Rudy’s Bilton location
