Opinions de Yoshiharu Ramen Buena Park
Located at the third floor of The Source along Beach Blvd, Yoshiharu Ramen looks out of place among the Korean restaurants scattered in the mall. They have a good number of offerings on their menu from ramen (duh) to sushi to gyoza and takoyaki. The price range is on par with the other food spots here. The sushi we order broke down easily when you use your chopsticks but it does taste good. The lobster Ramen which is on sale at $25 was so good. The lobster had that smokey taste and the mussels were fresh.
1. The ramen dishes have a rich broth, and they were both delicious! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a cozy interior! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! Note: I did not easily see a restroom available for customers! Photo: Tonkatsu Shoyu and Tonkatsu Spicy Black
I've gone here probably 5 times the past year. They never have disappointed me and don't expect them to. Me and my friend two days ago got their spicy (mild) tonkotsu ramen. The ramen noodle itself felt a little bit more 'stringy' in texture but still delicious nevertheless. We got their gyoza and it was good but it does feel a little pricey for the amount we got. The customer service or the girls who attended us that day were so gorgeous and accommodating. That day they didn't have the volume on their TV like the last few times we went not that it's relevant to the food but usually me and my friends watch whatever is on when we are feeling a little tired. I love that they are generous with the seaweed in our ramen. The ladies handled it with care when they attended us and we're always enthusiastic. This ramen place is always my safe spot at The Source when I'm not splurging on sweets and albums lol. The atmosphere is always so "home-y" and has nice hues of orange and reds with delightful decor. If you don't like Ramen, then I highly recommend their deep fried food platter or their spicy tuna rolls. But Ramen is their speciality imo. In the picture I forgot to mix in the chili paste but my friend has hers mixed already for context. That's the gyoza we received.
Place was great the server was helpful, and the portions are huge!!
We decided to sit outside. They have an outdoor seating area available. Nice staff. Ramen was really good. Kid menu available:ñ that includes: ramen and dumplings👍👍 Raspberry Macarons sorbet sandwich was delicious!
Very decent ramen with yummy bento boxes. Shout-out to the staff who very kindly handled an issue with my ramen—they covered its cost along with offering a complementary plate of gyoza. 10/5
The ramen was delicious and I recommend the potato kuroke (croquette). The portion size was just right but the other people with me had leftovers they took home. They also offer 10% veterans/active military discount.
Had a great meal here and enjoyed the variety of dishes available! We had their tonkotsu shoyu, tonkotsu miso, spicy beef bowl, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki. The appetizer takoyaki and okonomiyaki were crisp on the outside, the presentation was good, and they came out fast. The beef bowl was decently spicy, the meat was very tender and it filled me up. The ramen broth was rich and the chashu was well prepared. The boys ate up the ramen and left nothing behind. The beer was also well priced here and we had a great meal
I got the chicken ramen and I wish there was more because it was so good!😋 I also got some Egg Rolls and they were crispy on the outside and warm/tasty on the inside! My friends also really enjoyed their ramen! We were seated almost immediately in their outdoor seating and I think I enjoyed my ramen even more because the ramen was warm. Very tasty
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Everything on the menu was unbelievable and the staff was SUPER friendly and hard working. I recommend the spicy pork plate, takoyaki and any of the ramen flavors. This place is just amazing. Do yourself a favor and try this food!!

It's good, but I couldn't really taste it 'coz my tongue was burned by the Level-1 spicy tongkutsu spicy miso. But if you look at the picture, there's that red-spicy paste there... Well I thought it's a mild spicy paste... As it turns out, their mild is FIRE! ... Unless... You (the guest) were to mix the amount of spicy paste, that's All-ready in your ramen, according to the guest's desire... Oh c'mon... the servers could have mention all that & omit asking what is the preferred level of slice... I didn't wanna complain to wait for another 15 min to have a new one... I just ate my aldente ramen noodles
Pretty good ramen, good portion size for the price and pretty fast service as well. Only issues was that 1. Even though they had a booth and bar stools open me and my friend had to wait 20 min for a two seat table to open up and 2. The server was kind of rushing us to order and pay the bill even though by the time we sat down they were slowing down for the night (multiple open tables and 2 hours till closing). So we felt a little rushed like they wanted us in and out asap
Ramen's the thing on a cool Southern California winter night, isn't it? It's hard to go wrong with the Black Tonkotsu Ramen, should you feel the need. Lovely pork broth, enhanced with black garlic oil. Thin, curly noodles done just so. Bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and a sprinkle of green onions. Interestingly enough, I don't typically eat green onions unless they're in ramen. The pork is flavorful and tender, though not melt in your mouth (although I have found that to be exceedingly rare). The egg is extra, but really... Who wants ramen without an egg. As you can see, I ate more than I should have. And I will return, perhaps to try a non-raman dish. Enjoy!
Overall good experience here! The food was delicious & prices were reasonable, especially compared to other establishments within this mall. My only complaint about the food is that the edamame came drenched in salt—lightly salted is one thing, but bathed in salt is another 😣 I would definitely tell them to skip the salt next time since I like eating edamame to add a healthy touch to my meal, but all that salt basically defeats the point. I would also say to be aware that the appetizers and main dishes come out at the same time, at least in my experience. I was taken aback when we didn't even begin munching on our appetizers yet when they brought out our main dishes already. The portion sizes are pretty good and plates are shareable, though! The only other downside was that my friend and I wanted to eat outside and even though they had an outdoor dining area set up, they told us we couldn't for some reason :(
One of the best ramen place in Buena Park. Service is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. Our waitress, skye is so friendly, she made our experience unbeatable. The ramen portion is huge. I especially love the miso ramen and their karage chicken. The chicken Karage is dangerously delicious, and every time I've come here, it's the one thing I order over and over. The decor is nice and modern. Seating is limited because the restaurant is quite small, but hey, it's definitely worth the wait.
Ramen restaurant. Noodles were good, everything was copacetic. I was warned there was no sushi available on the night I went - to me this was a non-issue.

It's not bad but it's not anything special. It doesn't taste home made but more like someone got a packet and put it in the water. Not worth 18$ per bowl.

Was busy, so could understand the service, the spicy miso was good, but the broth and the korokke appetizers were very bland. The spicy levels will be a different quantity of spicy balls in the miso.
This place is overated. It is located in the new Source mall, very easy to spot. However, the food was not impressive. I read some reviews on Yelp and thought I would give it a try on a weekday night. No lines, the server was not very attentive. I ordered a black Tonkatsu and a curry bowl to-go. The ramen broth was very blend, lacking depth. My guess is they probably didn't cook the broth long enough. The curry bowl was worse. Very salty and no veggies. I would not come back again and will not recommend to anyone if they are looking for authentic ramen.
I got the tonkotsu shio. The egg was way overcooked, tasted strangely old / weird. Broth was okay... it really was missing the full flavor of tontotsu, was very basic. Noodles are pretty good. The chashu was unseasoned. With so many ramen shops having something that is very standout, this fails to really compete. 2/5
Yoshiharu Ramen at The Source offers delicious, authentic ramen with rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles. However, the service leaves much to be desired—slow, inattentive, and disorganized. Staff seemed overwhelmed, and getting refills or assistance took too long. While the food is worth it, be prepared for a frustrating dining experience. Great taste, but poor service.
I got the dragon crunch roll…. and there were tiny bones in almost every piece. sushi is not meant to have bones. i’m so upset and never coming here ever again. the ramen was good though.

The soup was cold, the soft boiled eggs were over boiled everything in the bowl was cold making the broth warm. The noodles were piping hot and tasted bitter. I don't know what happened the first 2 to 3 times I came the food was really good, what the hell happened. The meat portion are good pretty big and usually taste really good. I don't know why the food doesn't taste the same. I'm very disappointed. I'm guessing I'm gonna have to look for a better ramen place. Ive been to this restaurant about 10 times.
Came in with my partner on a Saturday night and it was dead inside. The food and service was okay for the price. However when we got the bill and went to pay, the server walked away with our card and the machine, and when he returned the gratuity had been set for for us. Definitely felt a bit shady.

Horrible meal experience. Do not come here. They ran out of chicken and eggs and ice. They ran out of cups and spoons because they did not do dishes. It’s under new management and food is substandard and has no taste. Do not come here. It’s worst meal I have ever had in my entire life.
I was recommended this place by a coworker. I ordered the Tonkotsu Black and karaage. ...I regret coming here. The ramen was bland, and had about 2cm worth of oil on top of it. Every bite was nothing but oil. The karaage had no flavor nor spices, even using all the lemon didn't help. The mayo for the chicken was the only saving grace, but that's really sad to say when this is a ramen shop.
I ordered the BAKED SALMON & SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL sorry for the caps I was too lazy to type it out. Anyways, the picture speaks for itself. I was so disappointed they had me wait AN HOUR when I was originally told 20mins for my take out sushi.Look at it. Do you call THAT sushi(the pic is before I even ate anything-all I did was open the box)??? It looked horrible. The worst sushi i’ve ever bought in my life. Taste wise and look wise. I came back three times and they kept adding time saying it still wasn’t done and to make up for it in the end, they had offered me a free Japanese soda WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED! The staff seemed nice but this service was totally unacceptable. i’m never going here again.
Food here is garbage.I ordered the pork katsu curry and it tasted so old.Katsu is fried so you would expect a crispy texture-mines was all soggy on the bottom. The meat has an after taste of something you left in the fridge for weeks. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The only thing this place has going for it is the anime music.
This place is out of business dont even waste your time driving there
The food was mediocre. We got the last batch of the soup broth, which was ridiculous. They gave me water from the sink disgusting and also the attitude of my waiter was unprofessional. No waiter should be on his phone the entire time, especially if we were waiting for our food to be served. The restaurant itself is also very dirty. I will not refer anybody to this restaurant nor will I go again.
My wife and I used to go very often. At first, everything was fine, then they gave horrible service. They brought us a ramen bowl without soup. I asked them to bring me soup because I didn't have any and they charged me four dollars extra. I will never go to this place again. They don't solve any problems.🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I ordered a ramen with a hard boiled egg the broth was cold and the egg literally came out of the fridge. The service was ok and place was disappointing it was so crowded and barely have space for tables. Worst ramen in OC no doubt. I'm glad my friend Nicolo Torres treated me boba afterwards
This place basically closes an hour before it is suppose to. They switch to take out(which is totally fine.) A part of my order for deep fried tofu was confirmed twice. When I got my take out and looked at it in the car I received fried dumplings instead. There were not other guests getting their orders in so this was irking that one thing I was excited for didn’t make it home with me. I didn’t go back bc the walk was pretty far from the car as well. When I got home to eat my katsu plate the katsu was burnt and definitely not how the garden grove location makes it. Definitely do not come here if you want good quality food. This location is pretty terrible.
Ordered from this place through Uber eats. We ordered the veggie ramen and a ribeye rice bowl. On Uber thr rib eye bowl was listed as white rice, ribeye, onions and green oonions.i got almost no ribeye and rice, but a ton of carrots. The picture they have for their own item shows 0 carrots. The veggie ramen picture shows green noodles. Ours had regular noodles, looks like the green noodles are a upgrade to the item. But then why have that be the main picture? This places listing are very misleading. I would avoid this place. Images of the Uber description below You can see the image matches their own website.

Feels ridiculous leaving a review over $3, but here we are. Ordered online, picked up my food at the location. (It wasn't ready, despite me being there at their designated pickup time, but I'm honestly ok with that. I would rather wait than have my food sit.) My gripe stems from something I had purchased that apparently was no longer available... curry ($3). I was told that they ran out of curry. Ok, that's fine. However, they would not give me a refund for the $3. I was told they couldn't process the return, and that I would need to do it online since that is how I made the purchase. Go back to the restaurant's website, they said, and contact the company for the refund. I reluctantly left thinking how absurd this process was. Went to the website and found that the "contact" button does not go anywhere. There is no other way to reach someone for praise, complaint, questions, and definitely not for a $3 refund. Order details: #1D8696AF Sunday 01/11/26 Pickup time - 5:55PM
