I had the shrimp and assorted vegetables in a box meal. Everything was delicious and it was only $12. Great seating and picturesque environment. All of my friends had different meals and they all liked everything that was served.

I love this place. The sushi is really good and decently priced. I've been coming here for about 15 years. The decor had changed to allow tables to be separated which is nice and vivid friendly. Not taking pictures was a mistake

This is the best Fuji location. Their sushi is always fresh and their service is wonderful. We love getting takeout from there but also dine in often. As far as the sushi places in the north towns I would say that this has to be the best!

The sushi is always great here! The selection is big. The staff is friendly and always provides excellent service. They never give me a problem if I want to change or substitute something. The service is always fast also. I would definitely suggest trying Fuji Grill if you're looking for some excellent sushi.

It was my first Japanese Grill experience, absolutely loved it. It was very delicious, tried sushi platter and black pepper chicken. It was amazing, Wasabi was perfect flavor. Definitely will visit them again.

Fantastic restaurant, very clean and handling COVID safety procedures to a T. We did their special, soup or salad, 3 special appetizers and 3 special rolls for $71. The yellowtail poppers may have been our favorite thing eaten which was a recommendation from our waitress. I highly recommend!

Maple Rd. location. All the dinners were great. Aloha Hawaiian rolls, Haku Maki, Edamame, Ginger shrimp, hot & sour soup, teriyaki chicken all of it. And the presentation was perfect. It was so appealing you couldn't wait to dig in. Wait staff was very attentive.

We had the absolute best night ever, thanks to Fuji Grill catering. The food was very delicious and plentiful. Stan put on a FANTASTIC interactive show while cooking, and everyone had a blast. Stan accommodated everyone's dietary needs/requests. The entire setup and cleanup was done seamlessly by Stan and Lily. They went above and beyond by supplying chopsticks, lots of sake, and even fun headpieces for guests! Booking was straightforward, and all of our questions were answered when it came to arranging the catering. It was truly an unforgettable hibachi experience in the comfort of our own backyard! I could not recommend Fuji Grill catering enough!!!

Their decor is a beautiful combination of Japanese culture and festive holidays without being over the top. Decorations were impressive quality. I loved their bento box lunch specials! Everything was delicious! Our table always had everything we needed. Their delicious food helped my picky son expand his palette! Being here reminds me of my Japanese class's high school field trip here a decade ago. This place will always be special to me, so I'm happy to see it thriving.

Such gracious and terrific service! Large wonderful platters that looked as good as they tasted. Upscale feel, yet good prices. Attentive servers surprised us with a tasty (free) appetizer, and then treated us to plum dessert wine after dinner. Will definitely return! Our large group agreed that this restaurant choice was a great choice.

After coming here for my first time for my birthday meal, I can say I'm very impressed. The food was extremely delicious, full of flavor, and the prices were not incredibly outrageous. I got the kitchen Hibachi salmon dinner and I probably won't be able to stop thinking about it for a week. They also give you a little treat for your birthday if someone at your table asks. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Wow, it was GREAT! I ordered 3 rolls for pickup even though I'm not super local because I heard it's awesome and worth the drive and drove 20 minutes to pick it up. The staff was so nice and brought it right out to me and assured me that they packed the extra sauces I asked for. Even after the 20 minute drive home, the sushi was sooo fresh! The rice on the rolls was some of the best I've had (and honestly I never really notice rice on sushi). Highly highly recommend Fuji!!!

I've been coming to this Fuji Grill for a long time, and you know what? They just get better. I love this restaurant. Great sushi, the absolute best miso soup, and the stir fried udon noodles are amazing! Everything comes out clean and hot and I'm super happy with the portions, I always have left overs to take home for later which is great now a days during these economic hard times. I highly recommend this restaurant. 👌

Love ordering from here. I usually get take out, but dining in is also a great experience. They can accommodate a lot of their menu for allergies/dietary preferences. I love the spicy tuna with no crunch and the miso soup. Their miso soup will make you feel like 100%, even when you don’t feel good.

Ordered trays of sushi for an event, and Fuji Grill was wonderful. They were easy to work with, and everyone loved the food. For the bill for kids and adults. Very friendly staff too!

When my family and I travel we enjoy trying new sushi places so we can enjoy new experiences. Fuji Grill exceeded expectations. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed everything we got. One of the chefs even gave us a complimentary appetizer. Service was great and the fish was fresh. Stop in if you are looking for good sushi.

Great sushi, they where well made. I had, from left to right, the Boston roll, eel and avacado roll, and tempura shrimp roll.

Thee only Fugi location is Maple Road (IYKYK!), always consistent quality, and service. Get the Fugi tower!

Every meal here has been great. Have had the hibachi and sushi, and some of their specials. Everything has been excellent. Servers are attentive but not overly so. Water glasses get filled, you dont wait an eternity for anything you need.

This place is a staple for good sushi! My favorite roll they have is called the "Dream roll". It has very thin slices of lemon on top that completely compliment the other flavors inside. Highly recommend! The sushi is fresh and they have a wide selection to choose from which is a preference of mine in restaurants. The atmosphere is comfortable and you are served in a timely manner. This is one of my go to spots when company is in town and it's never disappointing.

It's truly the best sushi experience you can get in Western New York. if you haven't been you are completely missing out!

This place is amazing! I love their hibachi chicken and teriyaki chicken meals with fried rice. They’re both pretty good options. I would recommend getting the hibachi chicken extra spicy if you’re a spice lover cause it is a little on the neutral side. Portion sizes are pretty good too. They don’t hold back on anything. Wen is always so kind and always goes above and beyond for her customers. Would definitely recommend to try it out

Even if you do not like sushi, there are many familiar dishes to choose from. But the sushi is fresh and delicious and made to order. You can even watch. The decor is nice and the seating comfortable. Great service. Our very favorite is the Fuji Tower roll. Come check it out

I love the place. I have stopped here over the past year quite a few times between 4-5:30 to take out appetizers and sides to add to what I am making for dinner. Sometimes I have a glass of wine or champagne while I wait. The take outs, and deliveries are constant! Very popular place! Lately I’ve been going for lunch and really enjoying it. My favorite lunch so far is the kitchen hibachi shrimp. I cant stop ordering it because it is soo good. I like everything I have tried actually even though I haven’t tried the rolls yet. I will. I like the environment because it feels cozy and calm. It was pretty busy for lunch the other day but the service is always perfect no matter what. The servers are always amazing. If the servers are in a good mood then so am I. I’m sorry I can’t the other pictures of my food. They’re so pretty. I also love the Age Tofu , beef Nagasaki, their seaweed salad (5 star) and miso. There is definitely something for everyone here too. Love the menu. So does my family when I surprise them with take outs.

I go to Fuji Grill on a regular basis and every time the food is consistantly great for either lunch and dinner. Not to mention that the serving sizes are quite large and I often have enough to take home for a snack later, or sometimes the left overs are enough for another meal entirely. The service and staff are friendly and pleasant, and food gets to the table quickly after being ordered. The interior decoration is well put together and ensures that all tables have space to themselves while still being asthetically pleasing.

Great Japanese restaurant with a variety of food to please all. The Amherst doesn't offer a hibachi grill but can order food prepared as if cooked on one. Good selection of saki and other adult beverages. Usually very friendly staff that is very attentive. Make sure you order some sushi. It's very fresh and well prepared.

Pretty good overall, but now that I've been to taisho bistro the Japanese throne was taken away. Sushi is great. Everyone in my family loves all the food, not just the sushi. As the others have said, the outside is very misleading.

Had to wait for an hour to get my sushi.

Felt we were a burden to our waiter. Asked if they have natto. He stapped "No!" We placed our order and he dropped appetizers and entrée at the same time. That was the last time he came to the table. Until it was time for the check

Food was excellent. I would strongly suggest the following: do not use powerful disinfecting cleaning spray to wipe down tables while customers are eating! While I can appreciate the cleanliness, the smell was overpowering and ruined the experience

We had a large party that we called ahead for and they were abke to accommodate easily. Food was excellent, as was the environment. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

Have not been in a few years and went on 3/1/24. The staff is very friendly but I found the honey chicken not the same as the past. The chicken was a bit dry. The sushi was great. I would definitely go again but not get the honey chicken.

I love them here. I tell them I need Gluten free and they are always good. They understand and I have no prob eating here. They cook my hibachi in back and use gluten free stuff. I have had no issues. Staff always nice.

I have very high standards for my sushi and unfortunately the Fuji grill did not live up to them. Had a spider roll which was excellent but I felt my sushi while fresh was not excellently presented. Other than that I could have given it a four.

Food was Just ok. It was Hot. Waitress not so good. Took out silverware away finally brought us a Fork back. Never ask if everything was ok. Didn't ask ife would like another drink.

Its ight. You feel very forced to order/get out quickly. The food itself is top quality. I think I was asked 4-5 times if i was ready to order within 8 minutes of entering the door. That was not enjoyable, feeling rushed and pressured to order. As I said the food quality is great just the customer service left much to desired. 2 star service with 4-5 star food, 3 stars cut it even know what I'm saying scout? Fuji grill will leave you not feeling bad & Boujee. You definitely will not feel like you've acquired rain drops and drop tops after coming here.

I gave them a 3 star because I did not like the fact that the eel is not de-boned. I was able to eat it as the bones are small enough but it was very unpleasant. The cucumber was also not fresh. The prices are very reasonable so that was a good thing.

I have gone to this Fuji Grill for years now. I was very disappointed after going last night. With the male server he was curt and we waited over 30 minutes to put in our order, and spent over 1.5 hrs just to get our food. I love Fuji Grill and this location is usually super quick >30 mins, but this was super disappointing.

The atmosphere in the restaurant appeared quiet and cozy until I was sat in a chair that was basically in a high traffic hallway area. The service we received was appropriate and friendly. Food tasted good, but nothing I would go back for. Kind of pricey for what you get. I wish them well.

Always too crowded. The food is not as good when compared to other Japanese restaurants. However, their food seems like authentic Japanese and is unique to the restaurant. Its worth a try and a good place to start if you've never had Japanese food before.

Server was wonderful, had the Philadelphia roll was great, main meal aweful, fried rice had no flavor. The honey chicken was just like a bbq chicken wing, the 4 seasons tasted raw still ( chicken, shrimp beef scallops) I would recommend getting Chinese take out next door

This place had some pretty good reviews and a high rating which made me wanna try the food. I got sesame chicken with fried rice and spring rolls. The chicken was horrible, flavor was good but it was alot of unedible pieces of chicken I was spitting out. I'd never spend my money here again. Service was great though, but the food sucks.

Made a reservation for 6:30 ended up standing waiting for more than 30mins for our table. Place seems small for the amount of people they serve especially on holidays. Food was good the service was poor.

I do not recommend this place. Our expectations from the food were not met at all. Hibachi with steak and shrimp: the meat is not soft at all, it is difficult to chew and most likely it is not a fillet. The sushi was already clear from its appearance that something is wrong with it. Disgusting. You can only taste the rice. They were so salty that when you add sauce, it is impossible to eat them at all. The atmosphere is also unpleasant. It is dark, you have to turn on additional lights to read the menu. You can't see the food that is brought either. It is a pity that the reviews on Google are not entirely correct. The real rating should be very low. We only regretted the time, the money spent and the fact that we could not enjoy the food.

I was there in 6/26/24 with my family to dine in the food was less than average and the green tea was cold and they call themselves a Japanese restaurant and when it's time for the bill, the waiter took my credit card and he didn't return it,15 minutes I went to the cashier and asked for my credit card, the waiter came out with attitude acting like I lost my own card 15 minutes one of the waitress found my card in the other side of the restaurant everyone had an attitude and regret going there to spend $ 130 +20 tip in fake Japanese chef ,I believe I would do far better with greasy Chinese food

We ordered Habachi takeout via Door Dash. I ordered the steak and shrimp meal and my husband ordered the steak and chicken & some sushi. The food did not meet our expectations at all. When you dine in you get fried rice with your meal it is normally cooked that way. When my husband drove to the restaurant the staff said they didn't have our order. After going back and forth about 15mins later our meals were "found". Not only were the meals cold when he returned, our steaks were way overcooked, mine was supposed to be medium well & his was supposed to be medium. Both steaks were well done, and tough to chew. Both of our meals had plain white rice & broccoli with a few onions. Normally you get an abundance of veggies. We spent about $70 for us not to be able to even enjoy the meals and I complained to Door Dash and they refunded me a measly $10. I always use the Transit Road location and they hardly ever make mistakes and if they do make one they correct it immediately. I will not be returning to this location any more!!!!

I've ordered so many times from Fuji grill and always loved it...unfortunately this time the chicken was not cooked and it was just mush, to my horror there also was two black hairs in the food I didn't notice until I had already eaten some. I tried to call them today to kindly tell them what happened and instead of apologizing or offering anyway to make up for it the girl snapped at me and told me the food was fine and there was nothing wrong with it. So extremely rude I am shocked. I am a waitress myself and I would never speak like that to a 10+ year customer who found hair in their food and had uncooked chicken. She told me if I have a problem I can tell door dash. So that is what I'm doing. I asked the girl if she was sure she just wanted me to leave a review and she said fine. So rude.

I love hibachi but don’t always have time to go so I decided to get it take out. Paid $20 for one entree and it’s awful. Tastes nothing like the hibachi you get dining in. The fried rice has 0 flavor and the chicken and veggies are swimming in liquid. Gross.
