FINALLY got to visit this location for the first time, and was greeted with incredible beer and service by the one and only Jay! Truly an awesome beer homie! He knew about every single beer (we were taking some home we weren’t able to try on tap) and was just wonderful to talk to and enjoy all the good beer with. It’s so fun to talk and hang with someone who knows the ins and outs of craft beer. My fiance and I are looking forward to coming back to Mortalis to chat with him and try more of their amazing beer. Great place for sour and IPA beers. New releases every Thursday! Flights are available. Nice decor and atmosphere. Make sure you say hi to Alden who is very knowledgeable about all of the products! Highly recommend.

Visited Buffalo for a basketball tourney and picked this brewery at random. Untapped tells you it’s good, very good. (4.3 stars there means they have legit, quality, carefully crafted beers). Nice vibes inside, good looked great (had the nachos). Enjoyed a draft and took hike four pack of Eos. They are kid friendly and the bar staff was very nice.

Glad to see a great brewery open a buffalo taproom. Beers were outstanding, the addition of Meads was a bonus. We tried them all. The brisket nachos were delicious and plentiful. Good selection of to go beers.

You can't wrong with a stop here. Great beer selection. Tried sour, Stout and ipa. Very good especially the sours! The bartenders are fantastic!

I thought I knew a lot about beer and I really love good beer. Then I came to this place and it blew my mind. The beers are so good and they have these "sour smoothies" which are not sours at all but come right from the tap and have real fruit in them. They created these beers in new ways I never knew existed. Wow!

All I’m going to say is if you love any types of stouts and fruited sours, this is the place for you. Also, 2 dudes working Saturday, August 2nd were awesome. Great people and great conversation!

The beers are so good and they have these "sour smoothies" which are not sours at all but come right from the tap and have real fruit in them. I was here this weekend, and I have been meaning to come for a long time. Very nice building and very roomy inside. But most of their menu is sour beers and double IPAs. I love IPAs but it shouldn't be that hard to be a little more original. I was going to buy a bottle of one of their new stouts that just came out. It was going to be $32 for a single bottle that seemed slightly bigger than a standard glass beer bottle. That is waaay too much. Their (maybe one?) IPA tastes good but there's really nothing social about it. I feel like something needs to change in the craft beer industry. If they're relying on the status quo that won't work much longer. There's too much competition. But if you like sours and double IPAs this place is for you. I doubt I'll be back anytime soon. The 4 pack of IPAs I bought came to $23.92. This price is definitely expected for a craft brewery. That $32 bottle is beyond ridiculous though.
