Good food, great location. They are just getting started but when they can start serving beer it will be a great place to relax. Good location for folks taking the ferry over to bike ride.

What a beautiful location! Great view of the sunset and water. The building is gorgeous. Unfortunately the food is not good. My husband and I got two rice bowls ( mahi mahi and tofu), a chicken burrito and the guac & chips. All the food was bland and the portions were small. For $60 we were expecting much more. I know they opened just a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully they will improve because its such a geat space.

They’ve got some work to do… Beautiful atmosphere, but the food was not good! Had high hopes with loving the Dog & Pony South Buffalo, but the Nachos were cold & when we asked for the cheese to be melted- they stated they didn’t have a way to heat them up.. hope they figure this place out- was so excited to check it out & left pretty disappointed.
The building that houses Perro and Poni is an undeniable showpiece. With its soaring lines and carefully curated design details, it practically calls out to passing drivers: Come in — this place is special. You imagine the budget was generous; it certainly looks the part. Unfortunately, the food fails to match the promise of the architecture. My $14 burrito — photographed here at its halfway point — arrived chilled at the center, its filling a sparse mix of diced tomatoes, a few thin streaks of beef, and a dusting of cheese. There was no discernible seasoning, and unlike at competitors such as Lloyd’s or Chipotle, there were no sauce options to lend a spark of personality or heat. The disconnect between the investment in the space and the execution on the plate is striking. One wonders whether the State of New York, in awarding a lease here, ever sat down to taste the menu. For me, the experience simply wasn’t worth the slow crawl over the two speed bumps that lead to the entrance. A restaurant this handsome should deliver a meal with equal flair; at present, Perro and Poni delivers little more than a beautiful view of the lake from the tables.

Huge disappointment, the mahi mahi tacos were very scant. One little piece of fish and a little topping. The chicken nachos were poor. Very expensive for poor food!
Don't waste your time with the new Wilkerson Point stand. Horrible dry burritos, no alcohol, no queso, unedible chunky guac. I miss the old stand there. It will never make it.
Food was down right bad
Unfortunately, I can't tell you how the food was, or the service. We were riding our bikes on Labor Day, discovered they opened at noon. So we continued riding and came back at 1:30. There was music, a good crowd, beautiful day. We were looking forward to some tacos and fresh squeezed lemonade. Unfortunately the worker said we were closed the kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand. I know it's hard to get workers, and I know you haven't been open long. But this was your day to shine. Should have been more prepared. I love your food at the Seneca st. Bar.
We ordered two different rice bowls, a chicken & steak. The bowl was mostly rice with a good portion of meat but not much else to it. The rice in both bowls wasn’t cooked fully, & the steak was chewy. Very disappointed in the cost & quality.
Google always says it’s open & it’s closed when I get there. But when I went there Labor Day it was open but closed very quickly. Then it reopened an hour later and all they had were nachos so I didn’t eat anything. Looks like a very well equipped kitchen but they don’t cook any food I guess.
