Honestly, everything here was delicious and the service was lovely. I enjoyed it too much to keep up with photos. All the cocktails-I had 3 of the many they have and all 3 were great. My goal is the be a new regular here it was that good. The music, ambiance and decor as well. Go here, you deserve it. Update: it’s even better 2 years later. The drinks are always the best.

I cannot say enough about this place! My husband and I went here for a personal celebration and we were blown away! I would give this place 10 stars if i could! The cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was top-notch and truly made our night that much more special. Our server, Lauren, from the moment we said hello until the end of our visit was beyond outstanding. She took time to explain different ingredients and flavor profiles of various dishes. She answered all of our questions with a breadth of knowledge, all while being kind and personable. She was just absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food? Omg OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!!!!! Honestly I had some expectations but even those were blown away when I tasted the beef ribs, pork belly, pasta (pasta is made in house and you absolutely can tell that it is!) and hangar steak. You can taste the incredible attention that is put into the food at this restaurant and it’s hands down probably the most impressive restaurant I’ve ever been to in Buffalo. I simply cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Just the food alone makes it one of the best (actually it was my favorite place I’ve been to in a very very long time and I’d say it has to be my favorite fine dining spot now) but the gorgeous atmosphere of this place (interior design is exceptional), the service beyond phenomenal, the overall experience struck a chord and has left a lasting impression. This place really is that amazing- I don’t know that my review can even do it justice. We will be back with my in-laws and my sister and her husband as well. I honestly cannot wait to go here again!!!

I took my Fiancee here for her birthday because she's been wanting to go here for a while. It was a delightful experience. Our server was Jess and she was top notch. We got drinks (the Daisy, Mai Tai, some red wine) followed up by the Anchovy toast which was absolutely delicious. We then had the duck arancini and that was also very good. It was then followed up by our main courses, the beef short ribs and the dry-aged beef steak. It was amazing and tasted so delicious. We ended the night with a surprise burnt cheesecake with a candle to commemorate my fiancee's birthday along with some amazing cold brew coffee! Jess was a pleasure to work with and i would definitely go back to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and delicious food and drinks! Highly recommend!

First time here and definitely not the last! The ambience of the restaurant was awesome and such a cool vibe. Service was absolutely amazing and food was fantastic! Went with a group of 6 and we got a bunch of different apps on top of entrees. Everything was coursed out perfectly and the desserts were perfect! An awesome evening with not a single complaint definitely one of my new favorite spots!! Loved it

Excellent food & service! Creative menu flawlessly prepared, swanky interior, and staff who are attentive and knowledgeable about the offerings. Go prepared to order lots of things off the menu - you'll be pleased by all of it! A few specialty highlighted cocktails and a decent sized wine list available as well. Great for date night, celebrations, or grabbing some drinks.

LOVED the orange, carrot, and cardamon elixir! It’s great with rum. I love this unique and edgy take on cocktails. Unique food options, each dish we tried tasted carefully prepared with layers of flavor. Gorgeous interior design and EXCELLENT service. Absolute gem in the Black Rock neighborhood of Buffalo NY.

Beautiful space. Really well done with the layout and being able to peak into the kitchen and the beautiful plush blue couches for the “lounge areas”. Haven’t had a chance to have full dinner here yet but the drinks are fantastic (cocktails and wine) and the food I did get to try during their soft opening was delicious. You must get the potato chips!!! Sounds simple but they are anything but that

We had a wonderful evening with friends celebrating an engagement. Upon making a reservation for 5, I emailed with Lauren who was extremely helpful. She even suggested a round of bubbly to cheers to for our recently engaged friend! Such a great touch. There is a $50 per person charge for larger parties which is applied to your total as a gift card when you close out. We were running late to our reservation and they don’t have a house phone to call. Thankfully, I still had Lauren’s number and also emailed her and she was very responsive and understanding. But I can see how this could be a challenge for others trying to arrange a reservation. Or maybe I’m just getting old. The staff was wonderful; attentive, knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. If I were to go back, it would likely be just for drinks as the food didn’t hit the mark for us. The presentation on everything was stunning which gave us high hopes! But everything was either over salted or under salted, which I know is a preference…everything just tasted like it wasn’t complete, like it was missing something. For $100 a person with a reservation deposit, I think we went in with high hopes and were disappointed with the food. However, this is a great place for drinks! And try the food if you’re up for it!

The drinks here are incredible and the staff was very helpful and kind. Amazing mocktails + loved the small bites. The ambiance would be great for a nicer date. Made reservations to come here on a Friday evening. Upon entering we were greeted by the bartender as well as the hostess and was seated immediately. You can't help but to notice the sophisticated decor. There are 2 huge lounging areas but it looks like you need to make reservations if you're coming with a large crowd to lounge there. The wine list is pretty extensive, if you are a wine drinker you will definitely find something to please your palate. We had a glass of wine to start and cocktails to follow, which was the classic riff: old fashioned and the mint cucumber & ginger drink. The bartender actually brought our cocktails out which I thought was a nice touch. Our waitress (Jessica) was great and explained all the food choices in very good detail. The menu is a little different but it's great for the open-minded and willing to try new things. So we opted for the snack- battered brandade & potato croquette. And two small plates- brussel sprouts, wild apple moutardaise, w/ pickles and the onion soup tartine, oxtail, reverie tom. All of which were very tasty. For dinner we got the Chicken with cranberry beans. That was delicious as well. And to finish off the carrot cake for dessert. Keep in mind the portions are small just the right size for tasting. Very relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back in the near future

I was here a few times pre-Covid and it was good if a bit pretentious but went a few months ago and the food we ordered was pretty bad. See pics. The shrimp was doused is some oil sauce, the beets were not seasoned or cooked particularly well, and the grain dish I got was barely edible. Pretty inside, but overall quite disappointed.

Service was friendly and helpful, and also considerate of covid safety, although nobody in the restaurant or any of the staff were wearing masks, we were, and when the server approached to ask how the food was they stood back 6 ft so we didn't have to put our mask back on, which I thought was courteous. The atmosphere was very nice, plush velour chairs, lots of live plants, old fashioned ceiling fixtures and then an overall industrial feel to the restaurant with the walls and ceiling. Only complaints about the atmosphere are that the table was very small and there was terrible punk rock music playing the first 15 minutes we were there. We ordered four dishes, the smoked rice balls with olive and cheese, the root vegetable blanquette, a rutabaga with lemon sauce and Salisbury duck meatballs with mushrooms. We both enjoyed the smoked rice balls the best, great texture, great flavor, would definitely eat those again. My friend said the duck meatballs and mushrooms were great and he rated those four stars. The rutabaga was....meh. not much flavor to it and the menu said it was cooked overnight but it still wasn't soft. The lemon sauce that was on it had a decent flavor with a runny consistency. The root vegetable blanquette had a nice silky mouthfeel, but the flavor was lacking, quite bland. There's no salt or pepper on the tables either, which always feels to me like a display of arrogance. We both agreed that overall it's not a place we would likely go back to, especially considering the portion size and the price, small portions that are overpriced. I wouldn't mind that if it was higher quality organic food but it's not. I love that they have very creative dishes, but I think they're doing themselves a disservice with how the menu is presented, the average person would have to Google almost every dish on the menu because of how they choose to word the description of the dishes, only someone that was moderately knowledgeable about cuisine and culinary lingo would understand the details of each dish on the menu. That can come off as a bit pretentious, and I think they're going to lose some customers who are going to look at the menu, not understand it and not feel like being bothered with the task of googling what everything is.
