Really quaint shop. I really like the use of shipping containers for the outdoor seating. We found this on a recent trip to Buffalo. Great menu and very good coffee. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.

It’s tough to go wrong with waffles… The actual waffle is delicious! The portions are very small for the price point though. $10 for 1/4 waffle with one egg and one piece of bacon. It was barely a meal if we’re being honest. The mocha latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. Staff seemed friendly and happy and the atmosphere was typical coffee shop. I’ll be going back to try the lunch waffles.

When I first read the menu, I thought the prices were on the high side (prices are on par with the area). That's until I tasted the waffles. Very good and worth it. I got the waffle with almond butter and my husband got the chicken and waffles. I also got an ice coffee. I would return. Service is good, they have some inside seating and also outside seating in shipping containers. I'd say try it, you get what you pay for.

The little waffles are awesome! I had the vanilla one. It was so delicious. I also had the coffee shake with maple flavor. It was a great combo!

Literally the best waffles I've ever had in my life. All of the staff are super nice and helpful. Everything from what I know is entirely made to order, and you can 100% tell, it is exactly how it looks as advertised, and tastes even better, do yourself a favor and try this place out. They have really good coffee too, and have special lattes, as of writing this I've only tried the Lucky Charms, but it was delicious.

Had the captain obvious breakfast sandwich and house coffee. Everything was tasty, the atmosphere relaxing, and employees were so very kind.

Not usually a waffle fan but went along when invited by family. Let me just say that the waffles are amazing! I had one that tasted like a s’more. Excellent. I also like the fact that they have repurposed an older building-antique espresso maker will catch your eye as you walk in the door. Inside and outside seating. Will definitely be back.

Waffles were delicious! And more than that I loved the decorum of the place, using the surrounding industrial area as inspiration. Such a cool set up. Staff was very friendly, especially the girl who helped us. If ever back in Buffalo I'll be sure to stop back in!

This coffee house is so adorable and welcoming. We came in with our young kids and the owners were kind enough to let us monopolize the back room while the place was quiet. Coffee was great and so was the food! My kids loved the mini waffles.

A very retro and down to earth place! The decor is adorable and the customer service was great. This was truly a wonder to stumble upon and I appreciated the references to Peter Pan! 🧚‍♀️ Also has many cute spots to take pictures as well as to sit and eat. The menu has cute waffles that look like donuts and the menu includes gluten free options as well! 🧇😊 10/10

The most amazing waffle breakfast I've ever had. I ordered 'Oh Duh' and even though there wasnt a whole lot to it, it really melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was awesome as well.

Who doesn’t love waffles?! I could go on and on about this place, the food, the coffee, and the lovely staff. But you definitely have to experience it for yourself. If you only have a short trip planned in Buffalo, I would put this on your list, FOR SURE!

This place feels like a vacation destination that you'd check out in another city, but it's here in Buffalo! Funky cafe vibe near the grain silos . Indoor and outdoor dining. We sat in a shipping container! The food was tasty...waffles !!!

Let me preface this review with the reason I deducted one star - location. I am not from the area, when GPS took me to a warehouse district near a large food plant, I thought for sure I was lost. It wasn't an easy area to navigate, but I am glad I stayed on the path to Wonder Coffeehouse. We arrived at a small coffeehouse with a drive thru with the smell of Cheerios around the corner. We went through the drive thru since it was raining. The menu was a little difficult to read, but my husband and I have fairly generic coffee orders. We get vanilla lattes, and I substitute almond milk when available which it was at Wonder. If you don't like coffee, you can also get shakes with additions like protein. The showstopper at Wonder are the 'little wonders.' We had no idea what to expect when I spontaneously added a 1/2 dozen to our order. And I was pleasantly surprised to open the box to 6 little dough ball wonders. The taste of the dough reminds me of a donut/funnel cake. The 1/2 dozen was an assortment of toppings with some covered in cereal. What a lovely breakfast experience. We were not able to eat all six at once, but I will add that even two days later these little wonders still tasted fresh, though not warm. I would encourage visiting Wonder Coffeehouse if not for your morning coffee, but the unique waffle wonders that do not disappoint!

Our first time in Buffalo and a friend of ours told us about this amazing coffee shop. It did not disappoint. All of our waffles were delicious and the tomato soup mixed with the grilled cheese waffle took me back to my childhood. If you are in the area check them out. And they have a cute little gift shop as well.

Loved the chicken and waffles, coffee and especially the coffee shake. Everyone working was very nice and cordial. Definitely recommend. Will return to try more waffles.

Stopped in the other day and was amazing how from the street this place looks tiny but once inside it’s amazing how nicely decorated this place is. This coffee/waffle place is the go to stop for anyone who wants to get a step outside your busy life to enjoy good coffee and amazing food prepared on the spot for you. The person who was at the counter was very friendly and very knowledgeable in the ways of coffee as well and even offered tips and provided insight on how to make the best coffee for ME. I can not stress this enough how above and beyond this place is.

We ordered 4 coffee drinks today and some a few days ago. Everything was consistent; friendly staff and delicious drinks. Located in an "off the beaten path" industrial area made it an enjoyable treck with interesting views. I'll definitely be back for more.

The coffee and food was amazing! I ravaged my hot caramel macchiato and grilled cheese waffle. I love the vibes of the place and the owners and staff were super nice. Def recommend!

The "waffles" are excellent, they are not your normal batter made waffles, more doughy in the best possible way. Had the grilled cheese Waffle and it was super good, and I am not a big sweet+savory guy. Almond Joy latte was excellent as well and served slightly hot so you can drink it right away, or asked to steam hot for your normal almost too hot to drink.

We seen this place on a Google search. What a nice find! We had great service, very polite and helpful. The use of shipping containers was really different. We even sat there unknowingly past closing time and no one said a word. I apologized but he was like "no worries! Thanks for stopping by!" I highly recommend this quaint new coffee joint!

We had the best meal of our trip at Wonder Coffeehouse! My husband and I both agreed it was the most delicious coffee we have ever had! Our sons loved their frappes. And the waffles and breakfast sandwiches were amazing! The atmosphere was cool and just perfect. The owner was so kind! If ever in Buffalo, you must make it a point to come here. We wished we’d had more time to visit again!

Our favorite place while visiting Buffalo for a hockey tournament. Super friendly. Good waffles and coffee. And you can smell the cereal being made from the General Mills factory. Just wish they had been open Sunday for one last visit.

What a gem! My friend and I went for tea, and the Wonder Coffee House was fantastic. The tearoom is tucked into the back and decorated beautifully! Beautiful linens and china. The tea sandwiches and desserts were exceptional. Our server (who is the daughter of the owner we found out) went the extra mile to insure we had the best experience. Can’t say enough about it and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

This place is just what I needed. A chilly fall day with a small break in schedule between work and kids, a diamond in the rough. I was greeted with the utmost sincerely "thanks for being our guest". And a quick tour and explanation of the menu. The building and restrooms are rustic and weathered but meticulously cleaned and well kept. The food and beverage are prepared and served in a way that leaves no question of the staffs genuine approach and positive intention.

I just swung through the drive-thru for the first time after passing by many times. After ordering the gluten free millennial fuel waffle and a coffee, I realized I will be stopping early and often. My gluten free waffle was made to order, not like typical gluten free items that are pulled out of the freezer for an undisclosed amount of time and microwaved. The toppings of avocado, pickled eggs, goat, cheese, and a fried egg were fresh and delicious. The sweet and savory combination was out of this world, and sugar cube infused waffle left me wishing I had ordered two. The girl clearly communicated it would take longer for gluten free, which I was more than willing to wait for. I will be returning again and again.

This was a place I've passed many times and have wanted to stop in to try. What a wonderful & unusual place to stop. The outside is so industrial looking which is fitting for the location. The decor on the inside is perfect also. I had Millennial Fuel which was avocado, picked red onions, an egg on top of a waffle & goat cheese for $10. Somehow this all worked so well together! It was delicious! The coffee was so good I bought a bag on the way out! I did decide my husband would not like it but my daughter & I loved it! Definitely a fun stop.

My wife wanted local coffee before we left. This place did Not disappoint. We cheated on our low carb/keto diet and had the waffle Grill Cheese and Millennium mixed in one. I asked for same buttttt... i guess he didn't hear me. BUT.. my grill cheese was still tasty i just didn't get the extras and my wife mad sure i knew i was missing out on great flavors 🙃. Our girlfriend got the Smores 🧇 Waffle. And they both got coffee while i had 🍵 tea. The parking and drive thu was crazy but we see why. It was well worth it. The sitting area outside was nice and different but calming and relaxing. We sat outside so our cat could sit with us and enjoy the fresh air.

Such a hidden Gem. We went in a rainy day but cute outdoor seating, artsy decor. I had a maple latte, my BF had a hot cofee. Both were good. We both had the Captain Obvious. We both enjoyed it. A smaller portion but coming from NYC I'd say a good amount of food for the price.

Wonder Coffeehouse is one of the most unique-looking coffee shops I've been to! I loved the layout, the aesthetic, and the location added to the experience. I'm glad I made the trip to check them out! I enjoyed their food and coffee, too. I recommend the Millenial Fuel and the Lavender Honey Latte! Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely stop in again!

Off the beaten path, this cool hip place is in the middle of an industrial area and does not disappoint. I highly recommend the waffles, I Mean Duh, is so good!

Very aesthetically pleasing waffle house and coffee shop. They offer a variety of different kinds of waffles. The waffles were a bit too sweet for my taste. However, they were delicious regardless. Their lavender lemonade was great; you can taste a hint of lavender in the lemonade.

My Chicken and Waffles were great, but quite a small portion for the price. We had both caramel and mocha coffee shakes and my girl had a waffle and egg concoction whose name I can't remember off hand. I had a taste of hers and it was very good. Also a better value than what I had. We will come here again when we have money we don't know what to do with.

It was too much syrup, they should have just put on the side. Wished they didn't use chicken tenders though. Waffle Sandwiches and coffee were decent. Place looks nice and is well designed. Food took a while to serve even though was a relatively small portion

Great waffles! I had the waffle sandwich (I don't remember what it was called) which was delicious. I loved that they had a drive through as well.

Service is a little slow and would prefer plates over trays, but the staff are super friendly and the food is fantastic! They were very accommodating of my dietary needs, which is surprisingly rare these days.

Cute atmosphere and plenty of seating! The s’mores waffle was pretty good too. Docking one point for the little gnats flying around, they got annoying while we were trying to eat our waffle.

A tad pricey for a waffle with toppings. Overall good taste but the waffle seemed a bit dense rather than a light and crisp texture akin to a normal waffle. Coffee was decent. Will be back to try different items.

The music, people, and vibe was great ! The waffels were fried to the point were It was un-appetizing. Idk maybe we got a bad batch. So we orded the waffles and chicken & the chicken was bigger than the waffle ( not a good thing ). The chicken was very crispy which was great but it was Dry. What would make us go back is bigger portion and fluffy waffles!!! Will give this place another try eventually !

Great coffee - tried the lavender honey latte and hazelnut latte. The lavender honey was very refreshing on a hot summer day, the hazelnut was well balanced and not overly sweet. The staff was kind but seemed a bit frazzled as first they got our coffee order wrong and then we waited about half an hour for two waffles. The waffles were decent - the Original was the clear winner while the gluten free Monte Cristo was a valiant effort but didn’t quite hit the mark. I do appreciate the gluten free options though! Overall, the ambience and coffee make this worth a trip but don’t get your hopes up for the waffles.

Heard a lot of good things, even the reviews are overall good. Location is ok, atmosphere is nice. Building itself is really cool. Ordered the Captain Obvious for breakfast with a large coffee. The coffee was above average and had a great price. Breakfast was $9 for the plate. When it arrived I literally asked the people I was with if it was fair food....one small waffle, one slice of cheap bacon, and a fried egg. The waffle was a little dry and without much flavor. Average as far as waffles go, but nothing to write home about. The bacon was thin and overcooked. The kind you get at Save A Lot on sale as a manager special. Egg was fine, hard to screw that up. They advertise 6 waffles for $20. I think for 9 they could do a little better with the Capt. Obvious. No offense is meant, just my honest opinion.

I ordered ahead, a regular hot coffee with hazelnut syrup, a shot and oat milk, and a captain obvious waffle sandwich. I’m sorry to say that the coffee was not good at all. The sandwich was okay, but from the photos I expected something a bit bigger for the price. The taste of the waffle itself was a bit different and not to my liking. I wasn’t a fan of the overall of my food and beverage. The place is however cute.

Lovely, quiet coffeehouse with excellent atmosphere. Coffee was good, latte was great, but the gluten free waffle was inedible. I originally thought the dough hadn't been mixed enough, but when I complained I was told "that must be the sugar cubes." I've had liege waffles before and typically the sugar chunks are much smaller, not the size of a pea. And normally sugar is sweet. It's a shame because the toppings on my waffle were great and it's so good to see gluten free options. I just don't think the sugar chunks work with the gluten free mix they use.

Cool place, everything else was awful… overpriced food that taste like they microwaved it from a grocery store and the coffee tastes like if someone drank coffee then puked it into your cup but the place is cool would thrive if something new moved it

This was by far the worst gluten free waffle I’ve ever had. I’ve had a lot of really bad gluten free foods but this by far took the cake, it was the first time I had considered asking for my money back. There was no structural integrity at all, I recognize this is a common problem for GF but this was next level. Also the chemical aftertaste was extremely off putting. I will say I did really appreciate the dedicated prep area but the waffle itself needs a lot of help. What also is crazy is when you order a sandwich you don’t actually get it between two waffles, just one waffle unlike the regular waffle sandwhiches. The waffle would serve better for creating a cardboard box than it would for a meal.

To say that they are slow would be an understatement. Time literally stands still. I am quite sick of pandemic related excuses for poor service. Inquired about a French press coffee and they looked at me like I had three heads. Also multiple families came in unmasked and no one said a word. I will not be coming back. The coffee is so so.

Our waffles were not warm (I expected them to be, so maybe I was wrong?). And we broke three plastic forks between the three people trying to cut their waffle. My grilled cheese had powdered sugar which was just… odd…. And then I found two hairs in it so I was done. It was disappointing. Edit to add: I reached out to the business as instructed below and both of my emails were ignored. Based upon that and the poor experience, This was def a one and done for us. Don’t offer to rectify things if you don’t plan to follow thru.
