Some of the best charbroiled chicken I had tried in the San Fernando Valley ares. It has a smokey flavor to it and their rice ND beans taste wholesome. The salsas they give you with the chicken compliment the plate so well. They sell pan quesadilla that's soft and flavorful. Overall the perfect tKe-out meal for my family.

Ordered the 1/2 chicken combo with rice and beans.. Yummy in my tummy.. And fries. Wasn't too salty

Chicken is awesome and taste great. Takes 15-25 mins sometimes because it’s made fresh!! I read people complaining about this, people it’s fresh chicken you want a fast chicken go to pollo loco and And get your chicken in two minutes that’s been sitting there for hours underneath a heater and stop complaining about the price because go to KFC go to Pollo Loco and if you compare the prices and the food and the taste hands-down this restaurant beats them

Great place to stop by and eat in, this restaurant serves the best charboiled chicken for sure! All their food is delicious and the salsas were amazing. The staff are really nice and do their best to give you a good experience.

I always feel welcome and service is amazing! Plenty of places to sit, with beautiful plants and decor, blocking the not so pretty view of a busy intersection. There are also warmers/heaters out when its cold/dark. Food is amazing, my favs are the pollo asados and the cuban sandwich. Prices are pretty good for what you get. First place me and my family have decided is worth sticking to. I hope they stay for a while! :) PS. Food comes with more, its just that we had eaten most of it before i remembered to take pictures. :p

Decided to visit a couple weeks ago and they did not disappoint... ordered the half chicken combo which came with a choice of black or pinto beans, tortillas, rice, salsa, grilled jalapenos, radish, lemon and an avocado! We also got 2 empanadas, beef and chicken. Both was enough for 2 (women) hungry patrons. They actually offer table service which I was surprised, I really thought it was seat yourself but a nice older gentleman brought water, napkins and the food to our table. If you are in the valley, they do have 6 locations give them a try, support small business!

This place will make you hungry just as you drive by it! The smell in the air around it, just lure's you in. If you a fan of food cooked over a char broil grill, this is the spot. I tried the Salvadorean chorizo, the different Empanadas, the family and i shared a whole chicken. Happily greeted with smiles, given a bonus slice of mango halfway through my meal by who I assume must be one of the owners, and the outdoor patio area is cool too. This is the type of business I love to support.

I had the charbroiled chicken burrito. The chicken was very tender, the sauces were good, and the whole thing was huge. Service was also excellent. The only down side is that you're right next to a busy road. There's a plastic divider but the noise and visuals aren't great. Still... good food, good service, good quantity.

I love their Asada sandwich! Their food is good and they have great variety of food to try but their Asada sandwich is my absolute fave. It does take some time to get the food but definitely worth the wait.

First time trying this place, we got the whole chicken combo, it's 8 pieces with rice, beans and tortillas. They give two small red and green salsa with the order. The chicken was really good. The rice and beans were ok, the salsa was not that good. I'd go back again for the chicken.

Service is good and food is good the only reason it is not 5 stars is the hot sauce was not very spicy but still all around good place to grab lunch. I noticed after I ordered that chicken is their specialty wish I would have tried that.

We got a lot of rain that day and their tables were wet and the roof was leaking ,very uncomfortable to eat there ,they need to fix their floor, it is not even can be the cause of a mayor accident,their Chicken is delicious other that that!

On the surface this place looks like the kind of joint I would truly enjoy. It appears to be family-owned and operated. It's growing/expanding. And it's super clean. Nice family vibe. Pop's is right there when you order directing the flow. Great location. Yet I was truly disappointed with what I ordered. For no other reason then it just lacked flavor. There was no POP! I left feeling disappointed. Because I really thought I was going to get what I was looking for. Example; I ordered a meat filled hand pie and was expecting that meaty juicy flavor explosion. That's the primal thing we're all looking for. What I got was meh. Just meh... I wish them well and continued success. But I won't be stopping by to order anything in the future.

Customer service was good but the meat had a lot of fat. It wasn't bad but I probably won't go back. Can't really pin point what I didn't like besides the meat. I did like the area to eat.

At this specific location, they charge more for salsa so make sure you bring more money cuz they won’t even give you one . Don’t dare to go near closing time (7:30)because they won’t even ask if it’s for dine in or Togo they just put it to go. They make you feel rushed and literally push you towards the door. Especially the elderly guy who works in the front. Also, for the people with kids don’t let your child use the little claw machine in the corner. The claw malfunctions and just steals your money. the workers don’t have a contact number or information and you don’t get your money back. Even if it’s just a dollar maybe I could have bought my extra salsa with that. Never coming to this location again.spent $50 on food and can’t even get 1 extra salsa.it’s ridiculous .Go to the one off Lankershim and strathern. They have better customer service and they serve beer and don’t charge for extra salsa.

This place was good when they first moved to this location I went yesterday for 3 orders of chicken and when I got home the beans had an old taste to them . Didn’t taste fresh it had a spoiled taste. The rice was very dry and the tortillas looked like they were just thrown in the microwave and packed with the order . My parents , my in laws, and I always come to this place .I’m disappointed.

This place is great, but their timing is terrible. I ordered a burrito and quesadillas, which don't take long to make. After waiting over 20 minutes, I saw others who ordered after me get their food, but mine never came. I had to cancel my order and get a refund. Waste of 20+ minutes.

Going here to try out the food for Ay Papa Que Rico Restaurant where they sell chicken and other dishes. Not only does the name is offense initself as the saying goes, ignore the name. As the employees not only don't get your food incorrectly, they also have an attitude when you correct them as they Stare a you with a dirty look. After ordering twice I won't be going back when they have poor customer service and aren't friendly.

This one in Sun Valley had horrible service today. I was on lunch and my food was suppose to be ready for pick up by12:45 but I didn't get my order until 1:15. It was a very stressful situation. Then all of the people behind the counter had an attitude. SMH (There was only one elderly lady wearing a red shirt that was actually nice) I'll probably never come back here again during lunch.

Food is decent but people here have terrible customer service skills especially the old guy at the front, the place feels dirty, orders take forever even when it’s dead. You can get decent food anywhere but good customer service is hard to find. I’ll just stick to El Pollo Loco.

I like Ay Papa Que Rico but I don't recommend this location, if you have time go eat somewhere else. Not clean and the chicken is always dry.

I typically go to the one in Arleta and it’s pretty good but this time it was horrible. I ordered the pork baby back ribs and the beef ribs and they were both super burnt, dry and salty. Not worth $28 so Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

Don't go there. Expensive, and if you order to go, they try to upcharge you, and not give you what you ordered. The Chicken is fine, but the service is not. Do not order to go. They'll too irresponsible to make your order right. However if you go in person, you can call them out and get them to make it right

Very disappointed with the service and bad treatment I received, from the so called manager on duty at the time. The old man in charged should not be in that position, instead of attracting customers. He is scaring them away. I will never come back, he was very rude, disrespectful, and ruined my lunch. I was over charged and couldn't figure out how to reimburse me the difference. No vuelvo, y mas le dejaré saber a mis amigos a cerca de mi mala experiencia ahí.
