Love that this place is reppin all Latino food. The chicken is bomb also. Don't forget to get the arroz dulce . Service is friendly and they have seating area.

I'm glad these guys opened this store in Sun Valley. They're chiken is on point! Very good seasoning and very good service. I haven't really tried the rest of their menu but I bet it's all good! If you like "pollo ala parilla" (chiken on the grill) this is the spot to go! 😁

Must try, one of the best foods spots in the San Fernando Valley. The BB-Q Chicken is so tasty as well as their Rib Eye Steaks. You will love this spot and if you don't the food is free! That's their Modo. They have cuban sandwiches, which are so delicious. I've been to three of their restaurants except for the on in Arleta and their Canoga Park location is the latest one to open. Their Canoga Park location has a pastry, which I'm sure it's all good even though I don't eat pastries anymore. But I highly recommend these spots if you're ever around any one of their restaurants, go ahead and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I got the Cuban Sandwitch and chicken empanadas to go. I was very pleased with the size of the sandwitch. The empanadas were very tasty and satisfying. I find their prices reasonable, will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Thier chicken is unmatched by any other. It seriously so delicious you have to physically stop yourself from eating the styrofoam to-go box. The empanadas are also incredible. Personally I only get the chicken from here cause that's what this place in known for, everything else is pretty avarage. It's next to a busy street and a train track but the amazing food makes it worth it for dining in.

I have been coming here since Ay Ppa Que Rico opened. They are always on top of their orders and service. It's always nice coming to a place that you are remembered. I always order the chicken sandwich and it is very delicious. My son orders the half chicken combo that comes with tortillas, rice, and beans. They also have pastries and other small things like rice pudding.

Have been here a couple of times and is always clean. They have fans which keeps the area ventilated nicely. On the exterior it looks smokey but not in the dining area. Chicken is awesome always well cooked and the staff is friendly.

Some of the best charbroiled chicken I had tried in the San Fernando Valley ares. It has a smokey flavor to it and their rice ND beans taste wholesome. The salsas they give you with the chicken compliment the plate so well. They sell pan quesadilla that's soft and flavorful. Overall the perfect tKe-out meal for my family.

I read people complaining about this, people it’s fresh chicken you want a fast chicken go to pollo loco and And get your chicken in two minutes that’s been sitting there for hours underneath a heater and stop complaining about the price because go to KFC go to Pollo Loco and if you compare the prices and the food and the taste hands-down this restaurant beats them

I always feel welcome and service is amazing! Plenty of places to sit, with beautiful plants and decor, blocking the not so pretty view of a busy intersection. There are also warmers/heaters out when its cold/dark. Food is amazing, my favs are the pollo asados and the cuban sandwich. Prices are pretty good for what you get. First place me and my family have decided is worth sticking to. I hope they stay for a while! :) PS. Food comes with more, its just that we had eaten most of it before i remembered to take pictures. :p

We also got 2 empanadas, beef and chicken. Both was enough for 2 (women) hungry patrons. They actually offer table service which I was surprised, I really thought it was seat yourself but a nice older gentleman brought water, napkins and the food to our table. If you are in the valley, they do have 6 locations give them a try, support small business!

This place will make you hungry just as you drive by it! The smell in the air around it, just lure's you in. If you a fan of food cooked over a char broil grill, this is the spot. I like how everyone here is friendly.... Specially the owner. I like there food... Almost anything in the menu taste great. Even the quesadilla has a unique cuban taste to it. And I also just go here for the fruit salad drink. You gotta try there cuban torta..... It's really good. But for some reason I came in today and slim shady at the counter wasn't helpful at recommending anything and I ask him what was the difference between the cuban sandwich and the cuban club sandwich and he replied " well the Chan torta is a cuban torta" lmao but the lady that bought out my food was nice. And it taste pretty good.

I love their Asada sandwich! Their food is good and they have great variety of food to try but their Asada sandwich is my absolute fave. It does take some time to get the food but definitely worth the wait.

First time trying this place, we got the whole chicken combo, it's 8 pieces with rice, beans and tortillas. They give two small red and green salsa with the order. The chicken was really good. The rice and beans were ok, the salsa was not that good. I'd go back again for the chicken.

Service is good and food is good the only reason it is not 5 stars is the hot sauce was not very spicy but still all around good place to grab lunch. I noticed after I ordered that chicken is their specialty wish I would have tried that.

😔😔☹️I call before to go because i love the white rice (they made on van nuys) and some body answer and say yes we have, then when i place the order the cashier with really bad acttitude say its only for the burritos but may be i could exchnage gor you and i ask for two more white rice and then he say yes and when i check he didnt add the two more cups only one and the and the chicken its not like the one its on van nuys i dont recommend this place ,😔

On the surface this place looks like the kind of joint I would truly enjoy. It appears to be family-owned and operated. It's growing/expanding. And it's super clean. Nice family vibe. Pop's is right there when you order directing the flow. Great location. Yet I was truly disappointed with what I ordered. For no other reason then it just lacked flavor. There was no POP! I left feeling disappointed. Because I really thought I was going to get what I was looking for. Example; I ordered a meat filled hand pie and was expecting that meaty juicy flavor explosion. That's the primal thing we're all looking for. What I got was meh. Just meh... I wish them well and continued success. But I won't be stopping by to order anything in the future.

This place was good when they first moved to this location I went yesterday for 3 orders of chicken and when I got home the beans had an old taste to them . Didn’t taste fresh it had a spoiled taste. The rice was very dry and the tortillas looked like they were just thrown in the microwave and packed with the order . My parents , my in laws, and I always come to this place .I’m disappointed.

I’ve been waiting a half hour for a burrito to go while everyone gets their food around me. I ordered well before all of them. This is ridiculous.

I wanted to buy coffee, I asked if they had milk, they said yes, but when I paid and received the coffee, it turned out that the place for milk was only a milk substitute, they did not do well, I was very upset

Changing my review to 1 star after going here too many times. Customer service is non-existent, there's only 1 nice guy in there and he the elderly guy who brings your food to you. Everyone else is either rude or just straight out racist.

I usually call in my order & 1 time I called they left me on hold for 15 minutes while I was driving there & I just hung up. I got to the restuarant, there was no customers at all! Second incident today I called, they left me on hold for 10 minutes until I decided to hang up. I bet you they are not even busy like last time because I can hear them in the background not taking orders or anything. Terrible customer service ! Never coming back here again.

Going here to try out the food for Ay Papa Que Rico Restaurant where they sell chicken and other dishes. Not only does the name is offense initself as the saying goes, ignore the name. As the employees not only don't get your food incorrectly, they also have an attitude when you correct them as they Stare a you with a dirty look. After ordering twice I won't be going back when they have poor customer service and aren't friendly.

This one in Sun Valley had horrible service today. I was on lunch and my food was suppose to be ready for pick up by12:45 but I didn't get my order until 1:15. It was a very stressful situation. Then all of the people behind the counter had an attitude. SMH (There was only one elderly lady wearing a red shirt that was actually nice) I'll probably never come back here again during lunch.

Food is decent but people here have terrible customer service skills especially the old guy at the front, the place feels dirty, orders take forever even when it’s dead. You can get decent food anywhere but good customer service is hard to find. I’ll just stick to El Pollo Loco.

I typically go to the one in Arleta and it’s pretty good but this time it was horrible. I ordered the pork baby back ribs and the beef ribs and they were both super burnt, dry and salty. Not worth $28 so Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

Don't go there. Expensive, and if you order to go, they try to upcharge you, and not give you what you ordered. The Chicken is fine, but the service is not. Do not order to go. They'll too irresponsible to make your order right. However if you go in person, you can call them out and get them to make it right

The old man in charged should not be in that position, instead of attracting customers. He is scaring them away. I will never come back, he was very rude, disrespectful, and ruined my lunch.
