LATIN FLAVOR CUISINE

Unfortunately I came to NJ for a funeral and this is where the repast was held , the owner was so welcoming and kind , she immediately came over and introduced herself,the food was absolutely fresh and delicious. We would definitely drive ALL the way from Boston to just dine here again!!!!

Great space i have been to this location a few times and have felt the welcoming comfort by owners and staff. This place makes great Puerto Rican Food and even have amazing appetizers for something on the go with prices you would smack your momma for. Lol yea its cool here the artwork all across the walls are done my a local Graffiti artist hailed for many of his murals within the city of Newark. Definitely a place that makes you feel like your on the Island.

I really likr the food, i think is the best in the area. The sancocho is delicious and the prices are very good and affordable. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. If you want some good puerto rican food give them a try.

Oh yeah, this place is nice and comfy. Experienced an Italian salsa dancer which was new and fun to watch. Hookah, drinks, and dancing on deck. Their Henny Piña Coladas are perfect.

Small place, but it's awesome. The drinks are amazing, food is amazing and affordable, the trees leche they have is to die for. It's fun and the ppl there are soooooo fun and nice. Definitely my favorite place to be.

The Puerto Rican food is really authentic. Like my family’s cooking. I love the music, especially on Saturday nights. The best sancocho I’ve ever tasted. The place appeals to young and old. They have an inside and outside dining area. What an awesome experience.

After a long Saturday morning hike, I had to stop by and taste Maria's alcapurrias and her pasteles. Maria and her husband were a delight, explaining how she made and prepped the food, down to the recipe. Mind you, it's 36 years of marriage between these two loved ones, and it demonstrated in there richness of PRican taste and flavor. If they don't have your specialty PR food, they will make it right there on the spot for you. BTW, play the lotto also..Maria was a delight to converse with. Definitely, coming back for the rellenos de papas. 🇵🇷

Absolutely amazing place, parking is always available the staff are friendly mannered and attentive, the food is always freshly prepared and well plated. The environment is well kept and secured . Myself family and friends really enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend if your looking for a safe and convenient location to have a good time at I will definitely be returning again . Fantastic job done

Their chicken chicharron is to die for. I've only had takeout. So my experience has been with the behind the counter cashier, and she seems a bit over her job. But she's not mean or anything. As far as dine in service, I couldn't tell you just that the food is two thumps up

But she was so amazing and patient with me, and when I came to pick up the food she was there to help me load it up in my car! And omg the food ! Was amazing, I usually go to some spots and u can barely taste the seasoning or you can tell it was rushed ! Well not here ! The food was amazing and all my guest had multiple plates and even fought for leftovers. In other words this spot was amazing and I loved it ! I will always come back !

A nice place with great music for some fun, drinks and hookah . Drinks presentation needs some work (Shots to be exact). Friendly staff that will accommodate you and always be in good spirits without being fake. You'll be blessed to have Estela as your server, she's amazing.

I was still able to order by showing her what I wanted on the menu and seeing what was left on display. I had the crispy chicken with rice and pigeon peas aka arroz con gandules which I enjoyed the rice the chicken was a bit on the salty side still it was good. I also order chicken stew with green banana and yuca which was not bad.I would definitely have to thank the young man that was packaging orders he helped me out alot to make my cashing out smooth great customer service on his part.

Food is good. Price is good. Parking and traffic here is terrible though. Cars are always double parked and with Food truck stand across the street same deal, cars always double parked on both sides , you cannot drive by. If there is a parking lot anywhere, no one is using it.

Lot of fights happen here, their Henny pinas were great👍, The club itself is sometimes dead so you’ll have to catch this club on a good day. And the hookahs are not good at all. Everyone i know hates the hookah from here, too strong gives everyone a headache and nausea.

How is this even remotely considered for 3 people at 50 dollars highly unrecommended basically robbery

I try to support our local restaurants any chance I get. So I decided to order from this restaurant. I didn't receive my full order, so I called them to make them aware. The man that answered the phone was extremely rude. The only explanation he gave me was that they didn't have anymore of the food items I had ordered. I mean a courtesy phone call would've been nice to let me know of the issue. I didn't even get that much less an apology. This was my first and last time ordering anything from this place. Instead I'll continue to support other restaurants in the area who really value their customers and the business they bring to them.

This is the 1st time and the LAST TIME….Order today September 30 2023 White rice w beans pernil w tostones for my son, 2 Alcapurrias and a Chicken breast with salad and vegetables. I ask the server what it comes in the order, and she said mix vegetables with lettuce tomatoes and onions. We patiently wait 30 minutes and then bring my son’s order old rice with one spoon of beans the pernil full of oil without pork skin. The server said that they bring that plate first because it was all ready made, 20 minutes later they bring my order, I was so upset when I see my food…the salad was 1 slice of tomato and a spoon of lettuce and in the same plate the tostones in a bath of oil. I went to the kitchen with my plate and ask them politely to look at my plate, then I see that the person in the kitchen is not Puerto Rican, so PLEASE DON’T CALL OR SAY THAT THIS IS A PUERTO RICAN RESTAURANT BECAUSE IS NOT. AT LEAST TEACH THE PERSON TO COOK THE FOOD RIGHT. IT DOESN’T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FRY SOME TOSTONES. THIS IS A SHAME, I’m very angry because I’m from New York where the best restaurants are, and decided to have my friend Birthday there because it said online that have music a family environment and Great Food and i FaceTime all the family and friends in a live so we can celebrate together here because the place was decorated nice and all the reviews that I read and the promotion make us pick this place, as a Puerto Rican want to support small businesses, but MY EXPERIENCE IN THIS PLACE IT WAS AWFUL IF I CAN RATE THIS -0000 STARS I WILL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT AS MUCH I DO.

Salad was good I order steak and onions rice and beans. The steak I damn near had to use a machete to cut... Will not be coming back to this establishment. If I could have gave them no stars I would have.

This place is just under okay and just above terrible. I keep trying and keep being disappointed. Today was the last straw. I went in tired after work, order rice beans and chicken. Come home I have rice and beans. No chicken. The most basic most common meal in Dominican and Puerto Rican culture rice beans and chicken paid 8$ for rice...... and just beans. Then they don’t answer their phone. Thumbs down.

I ordered a breakfast platter this morning and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! All I asked for was scrambled eggs with cheese, turkey sausages links, and pancakes. I recieved a egg omelet, pork round sausage with the pancakes. The pancakes were as if I was eating card board! The sausages were burnt to a crisp. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WILL ENCOURAGE ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO NEVER GO THERE!!

Staff charged different prices (more )than what’s on menu. When brought to attention became very self defensive. Will recommend that you check your tab.

I ordered Uber eats from them, thinking I was going to get a puertorican flavor,,, very disappointed, food sucked, no boricua taste at all.. I pay over 40 for this order, it sucked. Maybe in person, it’s different, but doubt it. Honestly, I threw $50 away. But it was a try. Hope others have better experiences.
